Were there for the first time since the new owners came in. The food was simply great, the portion was huge. Staff friendly and quick, even though it was really busy.

The food was delicious and the portions were so generous that it would have been enough for two meals. The service was also extremely friendly, she even gave the children coloring books and pencils to pass the time while the adults were still eating. All this for a price that you really can't complain about. We would love to come back. Keep it up!

Always delicious. Staff is always very friendly. Here you get something for your money. The only drawback is that the fries 🍟 quickly become muddy in the containers. Packed in bags there would be lots of crunchy things when you get home. Gyros maybe separately on another plate. Tzatziki is also packaged separately, which I think is very good.

CULT since the 80s! The owner has changed, formerly Yugoslavian, now Greek, The food, service and ambience are still great, cheap, clean - gladly again!

Lately the schnitzel feels like it's only half the size it was before, which unfortunately means we're no longer as full as before. We would rather pay extra for the old size because that way we would think about eating somewhere else - but it tastes just too delicious 🥲

We went bowling there with the staff. The train is nicely decorated and the equipment is also very good. Drinks are taken from the refrigerator provided. The service is very friendly, gladly again 👌🏻

Great bowling alley where you can take your own drinks from a fridge. That's why only bottles. Food was good.

Rip off. Anyone who orders onions on the - admittedly excellent - gyro here will be asked to pay an extra 70 cents. Impudence! Will plates, cutlery and seating soon be available for an additional charge? Addendum: the operator's reaction is incorrect. I was charged 70 cents each for mayo and onions.

I was really looking forward to a Jägerschnitzel, it was really bad, molded meat (turkey schnitzel) and ready-made sauce. My husband had the taxi plate, which must have been great. I tried it, but couldn't taste anything because of the ready-made sauce, but the consistency of the gyro was very good. I think you can only eat Greek things there, and I don't want to deny their quality.

I've eaten at Grill Split several times, whether with friends or family. The food is very good! I have never had this quality of dishes and the price/performance ratio at any other snack bar in Krefeld. The employees, whether in service or behind the counter, are always very friendly. I can recommend the Grill Split without hesitation!

When it comes to service and friendliness, they are all really bad in there. But the guy behind the counter shoots the bird with his Neanderthal manner🫣 The food is just frozen goods. You can get it on every corner. Conclusion: I avoid going there.

Here, fries are warmed up again and placed on the customer's plate; they are then rock hard and not suitable for consumption. I give the three stars because the gyros and the currywurst were really good, but the fries belonged in the bin

Update, new owners! Top successor found! Schnitzel, fries, currywurst, etc. Everything is as tasty as before and very good quality. The prices are also very fair. Bonus: Since a Greek family now runs the snack bar, you can now also get a mega delicious gyros and various Greek delicacies. 5⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Way too expensive and portion too small. A bowl of fries that's not even the size of your hand for €3! A large portion of fries. ⚠️ Around the corner at the Balkan Grill on Marktstr. I get a whole chicken bag full of fries for €2.50! Even the previous owners had given larger portions! Since Grill Split has had new owners, the portions have been really too small. I wouldn't necessarily recommend it. Rip-off!

Cool location (bowling alley, birthday party), super friendly service, delicious food...we'd be back again.

In any case. Not packed for nothing. Some restaurants can learn a lesson from this.

I made a phone order And it was all wrong the staff very bad behavior they don't speak nicely I went to the store again and told them they made a mistake and they told me to put the cameras to see that they put the food in correctly but I had traveled half an hour to I'm going to get food, I didn't spend so much time on my way to win 10 € 2 3 pies There is no respect for customers shame!!

PLEASE READ UPDATE! 1.8 m2 schnitzel. Huge portions! Delicious! Cheap prices! I've been going there since the 80s. Always consistent quality! The shingle roast is highly recommended. THAT WAS ONCE! TODAY AFTER A GREEK RUNS THE SHOP......TERRIBLE!!! THE SHASHLIK TASTED LIKE CHEAP MEAT. I HAD TO SPIT IT OUT. LOTS OF FRUIT FLIES OVER MY PLATE! THE GLASSES SO DIRTY THAT WE DRANK FROM THE BOTTLE. I DIDN'T HAVE TO PAY FOR THE SHASHLIK. THE OWNER GOT EVEN MORE ABUSIVE AND HAD ALMOST KICKED ME OUT IF I HADN'T GOT HIM BEFORE. THEY WILL NEVER SEE ME AGAIN!!!

Nach Jahren wieder einmal im Grill Split. Currywurst Pommes immer noch top, nicht so wie früher, aber dennoch sehr lecker und scharf. Die Mitarbeiterin im Service war freundlich. Alles sauber, schnell und gut eingepackt. Preis auch ok. Kann den Imbiss in Krefeld weiterempfehlen.

Wird von den neuen Inhabern in der Tradition der kroatischen Gründer fort geführt, wie damals, riesige Schnitzel. In den 80ern war nachts gegen Mitternacht die Straße zugeparkt mit Taxis und Streifenwagen, die sich das Mittagessen für die Nachtschicht holten

Es war wie immer. Man fühlt sich wohl. Das Essen gut und günstig.

Pommesbude mit viel Tradition. Früher leckere Balkangerichte, heute das Beste aus Griechenland. Immer freundlich, und nach wie vor hat man viel auf dem Teller (Tradition halt) und es ist auch noch richtig lecker. Wir, mein griechischer Kollege und ich, gehen in der Pause gerne hin.

Wir waren das erste mal Kegeln dort. Wir haben so einen Spaß gehappt. Wir haben alle 6 auf einmal unser Essen bekommen.Keiner musste warten. Lecker und sehr viel. Preisleistung toll.Wir werden wieder dort Kegeln.

Super Essen zum fairen Preis. Freundlich und zuvorkommend . Kenne Grill Split seit den Achzigern. Empfehlendswert und tolle frische Salate gibt es auch. Hier macht Essen Spaß.😀

Wir waren das erste Mal im „Grill Split“. Wir waren überrascht, dass es den Imbiss schon seit 1980 gibt. Das Essen war sehr gut und lecker. Wir hatten ein Paprika-Schnitzel und einen griechischen Mix-Teller mit Salat. Es sind sehr große Portion (wir haben den Rest mitgenommen). Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Wir kommen wieder. 🙋🏼‍♀️🙋🏼

Wie immer, auch mit den „Neuen“ Betreibern, lecker, gute Portionen, sehr freundlich nette Bedienung.

Gerade unter neuem Inhaber ausprobiert. Um einen Vergleich zu früher zu erhalten, habe ich (trotz hauptsächlich griechischer Küche) das Jägerschnitzel genommen und war sehr zufrieden. Hier knüpft jemand an die frühere Mischung aus reichhaltigen und leckeren Speisen an. Werde sicher wieder kommen. Viel Erfolg dem neuen Inhaber!

Wir sind seit bestimmt 20/25 Jahren immer mal sehr zufriedener Besucher dieses Kult-Imbisses gewesen. Es war immer eine Reise wert - wir kommen nicht direkt aus Krefeld- Motto war immer: Günstig, sehr gut an Qualität und Geschmack und große Portionen - all das, was man in Deutschland in einer guten Pommesbude mit Restaurant-Ambiente sucht. Dann die Horrornachricht der Schließung und der schnellen Wieder Eröffnung unter neuer Leitung nach den 40 Jahre der Vorgänger - hier nochmal ein riesiges Danke für die gute und leckere Küche. Dann gestern der Besuch im neuen Grill Split. Alles etwas unpersönlich aber hell und irgendwie freundlich. Nett eigentlich. Alles Neues ist erstmal anders - ist meistens so. Dann der Griff zur ungewohnten modernen Karte - es fällt sofort auf, das angebot ist deutlich übersichtlicher. Ok - trotzdem öhnlich bestellt wie sonst auch... Dann kommt die Bedienung, shr freundlich - wirklich sehr sehr nett. Wir bestellen. Es dauert, aber ist nicht so schlimm. Ist ja nur die Getränkewahl gewesen. Dann kommen die gewünschten Getränke - wir bestellen unsere Speisen für den Abend. Diese kommen im Verhältnis zu den Getränken erstaunlich schnell.... Ich hatte richtig Appetit auf meine bestellten Cevapcicis. Aber die Ernüchterung kommt promt: Sie schmecken merkwürdig und sind in komischer Konsistenz. Als wären sie nicht durch - sind sie aber. Das Fleisch meiner Begleitung war ebenfalls bestehend aus Chevapcici und einem Hacksteak und einem Spieß - das sah füher aber anders aus bei einem Grill-Teller. Er war oft so üppig, dass wir den Rest mitnahmen und dennoch sehr satt waren. Hier war zwar die Menge ok, wenn auch nicht üppig. Aber edas iost auch völlig in Ordnung so. Muss nicht mehr sein. Aber die Wahl der Fleischsorten war nicht wirklich ggut gewählt. Dazu waren alle Fleisch-Sorten nicht wirklich gut gebraten und hatten null Biss - so stellt man sich nun wirklich weder eine Portion Chevapcici als auch einen Grillteller vor. Die Pommes waren gut und schmackhaft - der Salat auch etwas ungewöhnlich aber durchaus lecker. Aber ich/wir fahren nicht in einen Kultimbiss, der einst wirklich durch seine Attribute glänzte, um mir gute Pommes zu essen. Da will ich auch gutes Fleisch und eine gute Auswahl an leckeren Sorten haben. Damit kann der Grill Spit zumindest im Moment nicht dienen. Hoffentlich kommt das noch, sonst wird es diesen Grill-Spit nicht mehr soo lange geben, Das wäre sehr schade. Weil auch das personal und wahrscheinlich auch der Chef sehr nett waren - bitte gebt Euch etwas Mühe und versucht den Fleisch-Standard hoch zu schrauben. So wird das nichts. Wir drücken wirklich alle Daumen und werden auf jeden Fall noch einmal kommen um zu sehen, ob dies gestern ggf. nur ein Ausrutscher war - dann ist es ja alles gut.....

This is snackbar, but they have nice seats also. I feel it is incredible what Germans can serve for the amount they ask, and it is also good. French fries (pommes) = crispy, meat well cooked, quality of meat for prize beeing asked=positive suprise. If you are having apetite, sure go here.
