Enttäuscht... Mehr Schein wie Sein...Die 2 Sterne gibt es ausschließlich für den Service! Das Essen war geschmacklich ok mehr aber auch nicht! Das Preisleistungsverhältnis passt überhaupt nicht! Völlig überzogene Preise!

Sehr leckeres Essen. Ambiente: Außenterrasse prima, innen Pommesbuden-Athmosphäre, deshalb nur 3 Sterne. Aber der Service ist gut. Sehr nette Bedienung.

Griechisches Grill Restaurant in Dortmund Aplerbeck. Freundliche Bedienung, die Getränke kamen super schnell und auch auf das Essen musste nicht lange gewartet werden. Der Salat war sehr frisch, das Brot war sehr lecker, das Gyros war mir persönlich ein Hauch zu trocken.

Nicht für Hochzeiten geeignet. Leider wurde uns was anderes versprochen als vereinbart. Vor Monaten hieß es, dass wir für unsere Hochzeitsgesellschaft die Terrasse für uns alleine bekommen. Am Hochzeitstag war die Terrasse voll mit Gästen und der vereinbarte Geschenketisch stand auch nicht da… Wir mussten dann in der schnelle unseren Tisch vor unseren Gästen dekorieren, weil unsere Trauzeugen (die eigentlich dekorieren sollten) vorher weggeschickt wurden. Obwohl Tage vorher und auch Monate vorher alles abgesprochen war, hieß es vor Ort vom Chef, dass er es so nie vereinbart hatte… Positiv waren jedoch die Kellner, die sehr freundlich waren, aber das Essen war nicht frisch und wirkte qualitativ einfach aufgewärmt. Dort gehen wir, Familie und Freunde nie wieder mehr hin und sind sehr enttäuscht.

Mein zweiter Besuch. Das Essen ist soweit ok, viel, geschmacklich nicht meins. Wenn ich raten muss, nicht alles frisch an Soßen. Auch gesamt geschmacklich nicht ... Abgerundet. Schwer zu fassen. Nach der ersten Runde Getränke und nach dem Essen muss man die Bedienung zum Getränke nachbestellen suchen. Auch ist der Sitzbereich nicht sehr gemütlich. Aber ist viel persönlich betrachtet. Am besten mal selber ein Bild machen.

Das Essen ist köstlich, das Personal freundlich, es gibt einen offenen Garten, Hunde sind erlaubt... Es ist sehr beliebt, es gibt ausreichend Parkplätze...

Hatte ein Jäger Schnitzel bestellt und ein Schnitzel mit irgendeiner undefinierbaren ekelhaften süß/saurenSoße bekommen (wahrscheinlich aus verschiedenen Eimern Fertigsoßen zusammen gemischt), einfach nur ekelhaft. 0 Sterne Nie wieder.....🤬

Lecker, günstig, eine Riesenauswahl an Speisen. Man kann draussen sitzen mit Blick auf einen kleinen Park. Parkplätze vor der Tür eher wenige, dafür auf der anderen Strassenseite reichlich vorhanden. Lieferdienst.

Sehr leckere Gerichte. Nette und rasche Bewirtung. Kinderfreundlich. Hochstühle vorhanden. Schöner Außenbereich.

Wirklich super aufmerksamer Service. Wir waren mit acht Personen vor Ort und die Aufmerksamkeit der Service war wirklich vorbildlich. Auch das Essen war sehr lecker. Das Fleisch war nucht zu trocken. Der Nachtisch war vorzüglich. Ich komme gerne wieder.

Wir waren gestern dort essen , es ist leider nicht mehr so lecker ..der Salat hatte braune Stellen und nicht sauber … und definitiv zu teuer … wir waren echt enttäuscht..

Habe Essen für eine Geburtstagsfeier zum liefern nach Hause bestellt. War alles pünktlich da und super Lecker. Über die Portionen darf man nicht meckern, reichlich genug für alle.

Das Essen war in Ordnung, aber der Service war sehr schlecht. Nachdem das Essen serviert war, verloren sie leider das Interesse an mir. Ich musste sogar mehrmals nach der Rechnung fragen und habe schließlich an der Bar bezahlt. Sie sprechen kein Englisch.

Die schlechtesten Pommes aller Zeiten

Ist es immer angenehm da und schmeckt es super da..

Da Lieferung, kann ich Service und Ambiente nicht beurteilen. Essen war aber empfehlenswert, Lieferung angemessen schnell.

Für mich geht Preis, Leistung ziemlich weit auseinander wobei ich ehrlich gesagt 1,20€ für Mayonaise, die zum Glück vergessen wurde als Wucher empfinde. Das Essen war nicht außergewöhnlich so das ich wohl kein Stammgast werde.

Große Karte, freundliches Personal, leckeres Essen, leider immer sehr laut

Habe selten so schlechtes Essen und so unfreundliches Personal erlebt. Da gehe ich das nächste Mal lieber eine wirklich gute Pizza im Linguini essen. Außerdem ist es sehr unpraktisch: Wenn man erst parkt, einkaufen geht und danach noch etwas essen möchte, scheint das hier schon zu viel verlangt zu sein.

Wir waren heute zu dritt zum Essen. Sind enttäuscht, Preis Leistung passt nicht, zu teuer für das was auf dem Teller am Tisch serviert wurde. Gyros Fleisch vertrocknet, kein Geschmack, keine Fleischstücke sondern super klein geschnitzelte Mini Fleisch Stücke, für Gyros Fleisch etwas merkwürdig. Der slowaki Spieß war Hähnchen Fleisch auf einem Holzstab kleine Stücke, geschmacklich nichts. Der Reis war auch vertrocknet. Ambiente wie eine Pommes Bude nur größer. Können wir nicht weiter empfehlen, da liefern andere Griechen bessere Qualität und Geschmack. Ist auch zu teuer für eine Pommes Bude. Waren enttäuscht. Kommen nicht wieder.

Das Platia ist schon seit vielen Jahren eine absolute Empfehlung für jeden, der griechische Spezialitäten mag. Seit sehr langer Zeit besuche ich das Platia immer wieder sehr gerne. Das Essen schmeckt einfach richtig gut und lecker. Die Küche ist offen im Gastraum zu sehen. Da kann man, wenn man möchte, zusehen, wie die Speisen zubereitet werden. Hier legt die Chefin selbst mit Hand an! Das Ergebnis ist stets ein Gedicht! Der Service, vom Chef bis zu seinen Mitarbeitenden, ist stets ausgesprochen freundlich und zuvorkommend. Neben dem wirklich gelungenen Ambiente sorgt das für einen besonderen Wohlfühlfaktor. By the way: Lange Wartezeiten gibt's in der Regel auch nicht. Selbst wenn im Sommer am Wochenende der Laden proppevoll ist, wird man zügig bedient. Jeder kann das gerne einmal selbst dort testen.

Ein wenig hohe Geräuschkulisse, aber Service und Qualität des Essen hinterlassen einen positiven Eindruck.

Schmeckt sehr gut, Gyros Pommes sind echt zu empfehlen. Service ist echt überragend, der Kellner war freundlich und hat uns nett aufgenommen. Allerdings muss man beachten, dass das Essen zum mitnehmen deutlich günstiger ist.

Wir haben mit unserer Penny Truppe letzten Samstag bei euch Weihnachtsfeier gemacht 🥳 2. Jahr hintereinander 🥳 Es war sehr sehr gut!!!!! Das Essen war sehr lecker 🥳 Das Personal war sehr sehr nett und super 🥳 Preislich kann man überhaupt nichts sagen, Preis Leistung war Top🥳 Die Portionen waren der Hammer!!!!! Egal was bestellt wurde 🥳 Am liebsten würden wir 10 Sterne geben, danke euch🥳

Too much salt in the gyros, and every time they forgot onions!

The food here has become very, very bad, but all the more expensive! What a shame... I've known Platia since day one in the old gas station on Wittbräuker, but I paid over 22 euros for a pizza and a taxi plate, and it wasn't worth it at all... The fries tasted awful, the gyros was way too greasy, the currywurst was okay... The pita was rather sparsely filled, but had way too much sauerkraut... no, thank you.

Unfortunately, very disappointing. The gyros I ordered was heavily laced with fat and tough, lumpy pieces, making it barely edible. The taste and texture were far below what one would expect. This was especially annoying since it was meant to be a birthday meal – in hindsight, it would have been better to just give the money away. I cannot recommend it.

We are very disappointed. We ordered four gyros plates and received four differently presented plates, each with a different salad. The gyros was a disaster: almost entirely fat, practically swimming in it, and barely edible. There were hardly any onions, and the few that were there tasted sour. We completely lost our appetite. For almost 80 euros, we expected significantly better quality. We unfortunately cannot recommend this place.

The staff there are always very nice and friendly; I've been satisfied every time. For me, they have the best Metaxa sauce around. The portions are generous and the price is okay. We enjoy going there.

We received our orders almost simultaneously, and the food was delicious, high-quality, and the portions were generous. I'm happy to pay the asking price for a decent-sized portion. The food was not to our satisfaction and was also quite expensive. My wife said she had the worst schnitzel ever. It was fried for far too long (it might have been better pan-fried) and therefore too dry. My pork steaks in Metaxa sauce were supposed to be topped with cheese. There was indeed a little bit of cheese on the middle steak. The fries, however, were excellent; not everyone can do that! Prices in the restaurant are significantly higher than the takeaway prices, which is a complete deal-breaker for me! We will not be coming back and will not recommend this restaurant!

Friendly service, great atmosphere. The food is delicious, but the prices are rather high. If the overall experience is good, and it is, then I can live with that.

The food is okay, and the price/performance ratio is also okay. Unfortunately, delivery times aren't always adhered to when ordering. I don't have a problem with waiting longer sometimes, or if the time is roughly +/- 7 minutes. When they repeatedly deliver significantly (more than 15 minutes) before the agreed time, despite repeated reminders that I need to inject insulin about 15 minutes beforehand, that's unfortunately a problem.

After a while, four of us ate there yesterday. We wanted to try again. It would have been better if we hadn't tried. The quality and taste of the food were barely worth one star. Poorly presented, completely overpriced!!!!! The farmer's skewer for €19.90 was like simple barbecue torches. Very small wooden skewers with tiny pieces of meat, rice, and a small salad. Gyros on a bed of salad—which used to be great—well, okay. The rest of the food wasn't tastefully presented either, not to mention the quality of the food. The service was very good and didn't match the food at all. The price/performance ratio is simply not right anymore. It's a shame, but it will be our last time.

We ate at your restaurant yesterday and were very disappointed. Offering a salad made up of 90% iceberg lettuce in 2025 is probably outdated. Some restaurants are much better positioned. My lamb chops were edible, but nothing more. You can't really go wrong with the fries these days. Unfortunately, my wife's gyro wasn't tasty either—the pieces were too small and tasted like it had been pickled. But we're not the kind of people who always have something to complain about. And there are far too many dishes on the menu. Fewer but better would be a solution. Sorry, but there won't be a second chance. Hans Steer Dortmund

It was like a day on holiday in Greece. Excellent service, a lovely terrace with music, and delicious food. The drinks were ice-cold. Thank you for the lovely evening!

We just ordered, but... The side dish we ordered didn't arrive, and it didn't arrive within the specified time. The liver tasted musty and was inedible for me personally. The lamb was made entirely of fat. The gyro wasn't a revelation, but it was okay. The salad, which came entirely from a can (corn, beans, cabbage), was a disgrace for the price... that's my opinion.

Upscale restaurant: incredible food, moderate prices, but a culinary delight! A MUST for Dortmund residents! Thank you 🤝

Also habe Essen zum Mitnehmen vorbestellt, Gyros mit Suflaki und Reis. Suzuki und Krautsalat kostet extra. Die Portionen sind für kleine Kinder maximal, der Preis mit ca. 36€ für 2 Personen ist in keinster Weise gerechtfertigt. Geschmacklich weniger als mittelmäßig. Trotz Vorbestellung fast 30min. Wartezeit. Gut dass ich nicht dort gegessen habe...der Speiseraum hat den Charme eines Terminals am Flughafen. Gemütlich ist da aber auch gar nichts.. Insgesamt: Niemals wieder!

It used to be good, but unfortunately it's not anymore. Completely overpriced, the meat of inferior quality. Several people were there yesterday and ordered platters (each designed for four people). Just put a lot of meat on a platter, and that's it. It's not a visual treat. The gyros were too greasy, and the fries and rice were tasteless. The service is good. It's a shame, but we won't be coming back.

Unfortunately I have to say that Platia has worn off a lot... We arrived and were asked relatively quickly if we would like something to drink. Drink arrived, food ordered, then we had to wait... Others who came after us got their food quicker. Well.... Then we only had 1 drink. There was no response to our raised hand or eye contact. Wait 45... Then we wanted to pay... Wait 20 minutes... It's a shame, we always enjoyed being there but that won't be the case anymore.

The delivery times are incredibly bad. It took almost 2 hours for the food to arrive. The mood is in the basement. Fries dry, meat mediocre, portion rather medium despite the selection being large. Salad, well you can't go wrong except that it felt like it was almost frozen. Small baked potato, too much sour cream. Overall it was too cold for us. Unfortunately, the price-performance ratio is not right here.

Platia is always worth a visit 🙂 We visit regularly with the entire family and as a couple and have never been disappointed👏 The dishes and salads are freshly prepared and simply delicious ❗️ The service was very accommodating and always extremely friendly😃 Thanks for that and see you next time⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I was there on March 17th at 5 p.m. and ordered a large gyro with fries, two small cokes (0.3 l), a small fries for my daughter (€2.90) and a starter (flatbread with tzatziki). There were just three small strips for the flatbread - and that for €5. The drinks (0.3l cola) cost a total of €6, and at the end there was a bill of €30 on the table. The gyro was also extremely oily and didn't taste convincing. For these prices I would have expected much better quality. Unfortunately, that was my first and last visit there. Price-performance ratio is absolutely not right here!

This restaurant is highly recommended. It tastes good and very nice people work here. The ambience is upscale.

2 schnitzel dishes for approx. 15-16€ per person The amount of schnitzel and fries was very manageable. And very neutral in taste. The price-performance ratio is absolutely not in line. If you raise the prices like that, the quality should also be satisfactory. Unfortunately this wasn't it.

It's been a long time since we've eaten at Platia. Afterwards we knew again why we hadn't been there for so long. The service was completely fine. But the first thing you have to say is, how can a restaurant or snack bar have a huge menu in front of the store with completely different prices? In some cases there were differences of €5 to €10. Then to the food... we have a lot of Greek snack bars in the area that are 10 times better when it comes to food. Bifteki way too dry and without filling? In addition, 3 people each order a plate for over 20€ per person and you don't get more than a dollop of tzatziki (wrongly spelled I know) We each had one drink per head and left €100 because everything costs extra. For the dollop of tzatziki, as we ordered again, we were charged €6. So in the future we will definitely eat somewhere else where it's worth spending €100. Best regards

Unfortunately not very customer oriented. When criticism was appropriate, the response was stroppy. The allergens should be revised.

That was nothing again. Food was cold and an order was forgotten again. Waiting time: Just under 3 hours. It's a good thing that a reliable Greek isn't far away. You can always rely on El Greco!!!

Ambiance is actually good. Beautifully located at Haus Rodenberg. Parking spaces also available in the area. The quality of the food is good, but now comes the big BUT. Portions are rather small and the prices are very high.
