I'm just not a fan of Greek cuisine, I'm sorry but I didn't like it. The service is great but I didn't like the food.

Restaurant prices with an absolute chip shop atmosphere. The schnitzel sauce was very bad. Salad presented carelessly, probably cheap salad mix. Never again! Way too expensive for the quality.

I wanted to try out a restaurant nearby, but was subsequently disappointed with my decision. The food wasn't bad, but nothing special either. Pretty boring design. Neither an eye-catcher nor very tasty. Sauce from the package, meat a bit dry and fries also dry. For the price I was really disappointed

Food was good but we had to wait a long time

We visited this restaurant late in the evening on the eve of German Unity Day. We hadn't reserved a table in advance, but we found space for four people. A friendly, older waiter greeted us with a smile and showed us to our table. About two thirds of the tables were occupied. In some there were only two people sitting, in others there were larger families with up to six people, but there was a quiet and cozy atmosphere in the room. Our drinks were served quickly and our food arrived a short time later. We've been here before and ordered takeaway, but I didn't remember it being so delicious. The meat was juicy, the sauces were fantastic, and the portions were very generous. We couldn't stop eating - it was just incredibly delicious. A big thank you to the chef and the service team for this wonderful dinner. We left the restaurant with great memories and will definitely come back!

Just under €70 (1xZaziki, 2 grill plates, 4 beers). Food nothing special. 08/15 stop. There are definitely better "Greeks". I didn't even know about chicken souvlaki. Go somewhere else soon.

When I visited it was quite crowded and loud, but service took a little longer at the more remote places. The food was delicious, but the prices were a bit high.

The driver came around the corner without seeing me as a cyclist. My reaction wouldn't have gone well...don't look at your cell phone next time...

It was very expensive, meat was over-seasoned, liver was much better from the Greeks, tzatziki were charged extra, I know it differently from all other Greeks. Are there much better alternatives with more humane prices.

The service is an absolute disaster. I asked for “Small Gyros Plate” but I asked him to put the portion on the big plate. “I can’t,” he said. If he can't do that, I asked him to put the salad on a mini plate, not the same plate. He then brought both the salad and the gyro on a mini plate. The food was cold, there was mayonnaise on the salad. It was the worst experience I have ever had in a Greek restaurant. I think they are making fun of the customers.

Wir haben essen zum mitnehmen gehabt. Gyros Pita offen und ein Gyros mit Pommes Zaziki und Zwiebeln. Zuhause angekommen war die Pita recht fettig. Das Gyros Fleisch ist farblich untypisch rötlich gewesen und hat maximal neben dem Gyros Gewürz gelegen. Die Krönung war allerdings wieder eine Preiserhöhung, die nicht auf den ausgehängten Preistafeln vermerkt war. Da wurde mir die Mitnahme Speisekarte gezeigt. Fakt ist Preis und Leistung passt überhaupt nicht mehr zusammen. Wir werden für eine lange Zeit andere Lokalitäten besuchen. Das letzte Mal hatten wir im Mai 2024 Essen geholt. Da war alles echt lecker und auch noch günstiger.

I ordered from Platia today, a simple order of bifteki special and two currywurst fries. So nothing wild. After two hours and two calls, the delivery finally arrived. When the driver asked me whether there were two currywurst fries, I assumed so. The driver quickly left like nothing, I looked into the bag, of course one was missing. Called and explained the problem, which was followed by a short "sorry" message, I'll send the driver immediately. Shortly afterwards I got the call that I hadn't paid for the second one and of course I still have to pay it. After 25 MIN the second currywurst fries finally arrived. The only words were here I am again😂 For me, the service was just terrible and I idiot even gave a tip when I paid for the first time. One thing is certain: order there again, no thanks.

The food was adequate in terms of portions. The star deduction in terms of service is that we had to wait 20 minutes before we could place the order. After I drew the service person's attention to us, he was very friendly. Otherwise there was nothing to complain about.

How much do you want to go wrong when ordering through Lieferando? An asparagus schnitzel with rice and a taxi plate without tzatziki and onions were ordered. Not only that my dish had fries on the plate instead of the rice I ordered. No, my friend's food was forgotten. After calling the store they apologized and said it would be delivered quickly. The missing food was delivered relatively quickly. Then, unfortunately, the next disappointment. Tzatziki slapped nicely on the meat, so we had to remove it first and therefore meat had to be thrown away. Unfortunately a bitter disappointment. But what was accommodating was the bottle of Coke that was brought along as an apology when the missing dish was delivered.

Unfortunately a complete disappointment. Unfriendly conditions, food tasteless, never again. There are definitely better alternatives.

Today I tested the farmer's salad and the gyros from Platia in Aplerbeck for the first time. The food was really delicious. The salad was wonderfully fresh and the gyros were super crispy and spicy. I will definitely order from you more often now. Thank you very much!

It has a wheelchair-accessible entrance and you can park directly in front of the restaurant or opposite in the Rodenbergcenter parking lot

The restaurant is beautifully decorated and the outdoor area is also great. The service is friendly and quick. Unfortunately the food is not good in my opinion. To give a few examples: Curry sauce tastes like regular spiced ketchup, dry fries, burnt gyros

Typical Greek cuisine with generous portions. The terrace with a view of the park invites you to linger, even if you can hear the main street in the background. The waiters were very friendly, but a bit unfocused. The food wasn't bad, but the souflaki was too dry. The portions were generous. Overall solid.

When ordering for delivery, it takes almost an hour for the food to arrive...but the wait is worth it: always delicious and warm! 👍

Unfortunately, the wrong food was often delivered! The smallest wishes are not taken into account (without onions, with mayo, just cucumber salad, etc.). Nothing is taken into account, everything arrives mixed up, even though they are “standard wishes”. Also extremely high prices + delivery costs. Food delicious, but price performance and service is a disaster!

We were there as a family. The staff was very friendly and the portions were very good. For the child there was Gyros Pita without sauce and salad. Everything wasn't a problem. Parking spaces were relatively empty and the entrance is also suitable for people with disabilities. We will come back...A table reservation is always recommended.

It's a shame, a shame, a shame... that they don't deliver to Wuppertal. I have never eaten such an excellent Metaxa gyro. The portion size was very good in terms of quantity. The salad beforehand was as it should be. The pure gyro was juicy and really well seasoned. The fries perfect. A very large selection of different dishes. Modern atmosphere, nice staff. We felt very comfortable. You should reserve a table in advance. I'm willing to pay more for a good meal. That was the case here. Quality has its price. And the quality is right here. We will be happy to come back. The next time we're in Dortmund again, we'll stop by again :-).

Ist ok, um vor Ort mal was zu essen. Gyros schmeckte gut. Vergleichsweise teuer, freundlicher Service. Werde wegen des Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnisses weiterhin lieber bei meinen Griechen essen.

Fleisch und Pommes sehr gut... der Bauernsalat war aber sehr grob geschnitten. Wir fanden in ihm zwei fast nur zu dreiviertel auseinander gerissene Tomaten und sehr grobe Scheiben Gurken. Dicke etwa 5 mm.

Sind zu Gast in Dortmund und haben das Restaurant Platia aufgesucht. Das Essen war super lecker & der Service top. Echt weiterzuempfehlen.

Das Grill Restaurant Platia ist für mich ein Muss wenn ich sehr gut griechisch essen möchte. Das Essen ist fantastisch, das Personal ist immer höflich, freundlich und flott. Ein weiterer Pluspunkt ist, das Platia seine leckeren Gerichte auch nach Hause liefert. Und wer auf einer Familienfeier oder Party Gyros anbieten möchte, leiht sich alles nötige dafür am besten hier. Kommt immer gut an und schmeckt irre gut.

Sehr lecker, man bekommt noch etwas für sein Geld. Ist ja leider nicht mehr überall so. Mitarbeiter sehr nett.

Es ist so schööön dort und das Essen schmeckt sooooooooooo gut. Es gibt sehr viel Auswahl. Doch das beste ist das Personal. Einfach so lieb und auch an stressigen Tagen. Mein Bruder und ich wurden so gut behandelt und wir haben sogar lollis bekommen, ich wünschte mehr Restaurants wären so toll. Leider kann ich nicht mehr sterbe geben...

Sehr guter Grieche der seit langer Zeit in Aplerbeck ist. Zaziki ist selbst gemacht nicht wie bei vielen anderen. Wir gehen regelmäßig dort essen und die Qualität ist immer gut. Es empfiehlt sich zu reservieren da gerade im Sommer früh voll ist.

Große Auswahl an Gerichten und Getränken, sehr schmackhaft, Portionen eher groß, keine langen Wartezeiten, Personal aufmerksam und freundlich, preislich ok.

Es ist seit einigen Jahren mein griechisches Stammlokal. Die Bewertung ist schwierig, da das Essen unterschiedlich und die Qualität leider nicht durchgehend gut ist. Es ist ja auch eigentlich ein Imbiss und ich glaube, dass das Meiste eben halt vorgefertigt ist und die Qualität, der Geschmack der Ware vom Zulieferer abhängig ist. Und so war schon Vieles dabei: Von wirklich fürchterlich schmeckender Fleischqualität bis eben halt sehr oft richtig lecker. Deshalb kann man auch nichts empfehlen, außer Daumen drücken und hoffen. Wie bei dem Lieferservice: Meistens klappt es und es wird schnell geliefert und das Essen ist noch heiß. Aber nicht immer: es dauert zu lange, es wird etwas vergessen, ein Gericht zu wenig, Essen ist nur noch lauwarm. Das macht eine gerechte Bewertung unmöglich. Da kann man nur dazu raten, es selbst auszuprobieren, aber Daumen drücken muss sein. Allerdings waren 2 Dinge in all den Jahren immer gleich: 1. Superfreundliche und aufmerksame Mitarbeiter 2. Es gibt nur die kleinen und preiswertesten Pommes. Ich wünschte, der Chef würde auch mal eine größere Sorte einkaufen. Dafür würde ich dann auch gerne etwas mehr bezahlen. Es gibt wirklich Pommes, die erheblich besser schmecken, man muss sie nur einkaufen.

Wir waren gestern nach langer Zeit mal wieder bei Platia essen. Bisher waren wir immer zufrieden, gestern leider nicht. Das Gyros war zwar kross und saftig, schmeckte aber sehr überwürzt. Der " Gemüsereis" dagegen war völlig fad im Geschmack, nichts besonderes. Der Joghurt Dressing auf dem Salat hatte viel Säure,war eher ein Fertigprodukt aus der Flasche aus dem Discounter. Das Bifteki war zwar lecker aber das Auge isst auch mit. Das Bifteki war mit dem blassen, faden Reis auf den Teller gelegt - fertig. Keine Salatdeko, nichts. Das wirkte sehr lieblos. Alles in allem stimmt für uns das Preis Leistungsverhältnis im Platia leider nicht mehr. Schade.

Immer einen Besuch wert. Der Service ist gut, könnte höflicher sein. Das scheint allerdings bei den meisten Restaurants dieser Art zu sein. Das Essen ist gut. Die Karte sehr groß. Parkplätze sind genug vorhanden. Im Nachgang kann man mit dem Fahrrad oder zu Fuß durch den Aplerbecker Park.

Ein netter Ort, um üppig, aber auch tatsächlich gut zu speisen. Das Ambiente lädt zum Verweilen ein;, der Service ist gut. Individuelle Wünsche werden berücksichtigt; die Mitarbeiter sind aufmerksam und freundlich. Das Essen ist seit vielen Jahren gleichbleibend gut. Ich komme gerne wieder... wie seit Jahren

Das ist meine persönliche Meinung. Ich finde das die Preise sehr nach oben gestiegen sind aber leider die Qualität auch nach unten
