Grill Palast Viersen in Viersen

The smell is truly heavenly and makes you want to grill. The ambiance is really good, and the service is also excellent. A very positive thing is that we almost always get bread with sauces, which are super delicious. The rice on site is also really great (I can't recommend it for takeout, as my rice felt like it was swimming in oil. I've only done it once, so I don't know how common it is). The meat is always a problem for me. It tastes really good, and the grilled flavors really come through, but... in one-third of cases, I get meat that's just full of gristle in every other bite, which of course makes the whole thing a bit unpleasant and inedible for me. But that would actually be the only thing I would complain about. Otherwise, if you're in the mood for grilled food or kebabs, you'll definitely find what you're looking for here.

Large, almost gigantic portions, everything freshly prepared. Fast service, highly recommended. Prices, like everywhere else, are relatively high, but overall, they're okay.

The food tastes good but is really expensive. The Grillpalast plate for two people used to be better, but now there's less meat and the price is higher. Service was okay, even though it wasn't full, we waited 10 minutes for a drink. For three people, the bill was over €100. At least they could have said tea was on the house, but it was still charged. The menu on site said €27.90 for a Grillpalast plate for two people, but on Instagram it's €10 more expensive. Furthermore, it was too warm inside, even though it wasn't crowded. There was no air conditioning. I don't even know if there's anything like that there.

Probably the best food in the city and surrounding area. But unfortunately, the atmosphere is sometimes hectic and the service is chaotic, but very friendly. What else can you say about the food? It's definitely the best in all of Viersen, perhaps even in the Viersen district. It's better than some five-star hotel restaurants. I'm mainly talking about the grill plate. The meat is incredible, the salad is very good, and the bread and dips served beforehand are a great bonus. And all this for a very reasonable price of around €22.00. So it's no wonder that the Grill Palast seems to be fully booked at peak times (and usually is). But that's precisely where the problem lies: the seating at the Grill Palast is rather unusual. You sit relatively close to other people's tables when it's full, and the noise level is very unpleasant, and it's very difficult to understand people sitting diagonally from you. When it's full, the service is also inconsistent. It seems that sometimes people are assigned orders here who aren't actually responsible for them or have any experience with them. — When it's empty, however, the ambiance and service are fine and modern. An even more annoying point is the geographical location: parking is very difficult here. Sometimes you really have to win the lottery to get a place here. This is unfortunately due to the fact that the restaurant is located in the middle of the city center, which, while very smart from a business perspective, is unfortunately not very hospitable. If the ambiance were better, a 5/5 star review would be a given. But unfortunately, that's not the case. Nevertheless, consistently friendly service gets a plus point. This is the number one place to go, but not during peak times or for relaxed evenings or business meetings. There are other restaurants with a much more relaxed atmosphere and service. Nevertheless, we will keep coming back here, because otherwise the restaurant is top-notch!

This is not a simple kebab shop, but more of a grill restaurant. There is also a buffet or you can treat yourself to fresh grilled skewers with different types of meat. We had the small rotating dinner plate with chicken. Sauces, fries, everything was very tasty and even if the chicken was a bit cool (no, not because of the sauce) it was extremely good. Thinly sliced ​​and very crispy. All in all, I can highly recommend the store.

Absolutely disappointing! The waitress – a waitress wearing a headscarf – was extremely unfriendly and seemed to have no interest in welcoming us as guests. Instead of answering our questions politely, she gave us pat, arrogant answers - as if she was doing us a favor by even being there. I have rarely experienced something so unprofessional. There was absolutely no sign of the principle “the customer is king” here. Not only did we feel poorly served, but we were literally dismissed. Definitely the last time we entered this store.

So far I have always been very satisfied with this restaurant, but after my last experience I will not be returning either myself or with my family. I called today to reserve a table for 15 people for Sunday. The lady on the phone told me that we could come at 5:00 p.m. but that we had to leave the restaurant by 7:00 p.m. at the latest. When I asked why this was the case, she explained that although there were no further reservations, many guests were expected on a Sunday. I was very disappointed by this inflexible and unhospitable attitude. I expect more understanding and service from a restaurant. Unfortunately I will avoid this restaurant in the future.

Unfortunately today will be the last time as the service is unfriendly and rude. Because one question is asking too much and you get the comment that they are not a computer and that you should find out better yourself. The food is good, but I'd rather spend my money elsewhere.

Best Turkish Restoran in Viersen

There is no problem with the taste, everything is beyond wonderful, but the service is really bad, the service is late, the people serving are really well-intentioned and nice people, they are very friendly, there is nothing they can do.

We were having breakfast. The buffet was sufficiently large and the food was very tasty. Drinks such as coffee, tea and orange juice were included in the price. Service only no one comes to the table to clear away when you have already finished several plates and pay at the front of the counter. I still think the price for an adult at €12.90 is a completely fair price, but for children at €9.90 it is much too high. For children under 12, or under 10 in my opinion, it should only cost half as much. My two kids, 6 and 3, eat more like little birds, so the price was simply too much and unfortunately there was no description anywhere of how much the buffet costs for children. And it was pretty empty. I think because there is not enough advertising for breakfast, no one knows that you can go there in the morning on the weekend.

The food has been great on every visit so far. Rarely have I had a shop where everything tastes good, whether pizza or grilled dishes. Service is always very quick and, even when things are hectic in the store, courteous and interested.

Great service, great food, we were lucky that we started eating at 6pm. The restaurant was full that Saturday evening, with many people waiting to be seated. I would highly recommend Ufa Kebap.

Unfortunately I had a very bad Lahmacun experience. I didn't taste or see the meat at all... unfortunately they cut corners in all the wrong places. Lahmacun was full of isot (chilli flakes). I didn't even order spicy. Asked the waiter and he said that's standard here. Disaster. No thanks.

More bad than right. Lots of potential for improvement. Bread like rubber and meat just ok. Unfortunately, there was no real effort and attention to detail to be found. The store doesn't look bad. The quality can be better. The good reviews have probably never eaten a very good kebab or have never encountered a very good kebab. Too bad. Can do better.

The atmosphere in the restaurant is cozy and rustic, just right for a relaxed dinner. The service was friendly and helpful, although the orders could have come a little quicker. You had to be a little patient, especially with a full house. Service could be better organized. Overall, a very successful grilling experience where you definitely get your money's worth. I visite theplace woth my partner anf we expected a lot based on the rating. Unfortunately,we were disappointed We waited around 20min just for the drink, and around 1 hour more for the food. People were coming, eating and going home while we just waited... When the food finally came (after we reminded them about our order) it was cold, portions were smaller than described in the menu... I will attach photos so see it yourself if this was worth around 37€ in total.

Huge dissappintment. We came as we saw good ratings. The place was full, and we were excited as we knew the food would be fresh. There it started: - we waited around 20 minutes to get 1 bottled water and 1 coffee - after reminding them not to forget our order, we finally got our food after in total 1h10min waiting time. Shameful. - portions were cold and smaller than described in the menu, and they looked as if they had been made 2 min before serving. Zero effort. - the order of my partner was half wrong - at least 3 tables more tables around us were complaining too. We have no clue how this place got such a good average grade. We should have refused to pay. We spent around 37€ in total for the food in photos. Judge it yourself if it is worth it.

Today I had dinner at the Grillpalast with my two children. We ordered lamb fillet medium, we got it well done. Döner plate large, this was fine and also tasty. We ordered kebab gratinated, the side dish was missing, which we didn't get even after reordering. When we wanted to pay, I was charged an amount of over €70 via debit card. I didn't receive an invoice myself, only the EC receipt was given to me. I had to ask for the correct invoice, which was then hesitantly handed over to me. I was even told that you don't normally get these. On the bill you could then see that I was charged for 5 drinks worth €12.50, which we neither ordered nor received. I was then sent to 3 different employees until someone agreed to address my complaint. We didn't get a deduction because we didn't receive the insert, we were paid the overcharged amount and that was it. Not even an apology, just “things are a bit messy today.” Make your own judgment about these circumstances, in any case you won't see me again.

Everything is fine again! I am now 100% satisfied again. Previous recession: The quality of the food deteriorates somewhat. You probably try to keep the prices down, but you buy cheaper. The wrong way for me. I would happily pay more if I could get the quality of 2022 again.

I was very disappointed with my last visit to Grill Palast Viersen. I ordered a kebab to take away and was surprised at how little meat it contained. There was hardly any meat in the kebab, mainly just bread and salad. The ratio was really inappropriate and definitely not what I expect from a good kebab. Additionally, I wasn't given a bag of napkins, which is very inconvenient for a take-out meal. The overall service was inadequate and I will avoid this store in the future.

Very, very tasty food and great ambience. Unfortunately that was it. After almost 10 visits I summarize: The service is inattentive, doesn't see empty glasses to ask if you want something else to drink, doesn't ask if everything tastes good/is right. Drinks didn't come several times, and we often had to wait up to 10 minutes just for the menu, which can be served within 5 seconds. Instead, you prefer to clear away dishes and do tons of other things. The food didn't come at the same time twice, so the others were already starting and we had to ask. You hold your wallet demonstratively in your hand and yet the waiters walk past you as if they were wearing blinders. If only the friendliness were right or there was a little heart involved. I don't expect service like the Ritz Carlton, but things can really be better. To top it off on our last visit, I ordered a salad to take away and waited 23 minutes (!) for it. That was my last visit. There are plenty of other restaurateurs where you are valued more and treated better.

Once again a very tasty meal. Very nice staff. Even though it was very busy, our order was taken quickly. After what felt like 10 minutes, our food was served in a very nice and friendly manner. We sat outside in a nice atmosphere. As a suggestion for the ambience, I would like to say that a railing on both sides of the stairs to the outside would give guests more safety. I think that the boxes for empties are there due to lack of space, but as observed, they don't provide any support when climbing the steps. But they don't look that nice either. The exit to the toilet from the "beer garden" or "yard" could also be better So I could only give it 4 stars. But we already have the “Grill Palast” and unfortunately I can’t post photos. I’ll do it next time.

On our way through the city, Fürth and the Grill Palast came into view. We were quickly assigned a seat and the service was always on hand, pleasant and friendly. Since we had to wait a bit for our food, we were given a small starter. The food is excellent and a good portion, we enjoyed it very much. Personally, I would like a quieter toilet where the light doesn't go off every 10 seconds. The restaurant is well attended and I'm looking forward to trying out the other dishes should we be in Viersen again.

Unfortunately it's a bit slow...the doner meat wasn't that great, some of it inside too. Otherwise the rest was okay, whether pide or falafel.

We had dinner here with a group of 7 men. The atmosphere was nice and busy when we entered. We were well received by the host. 9 Because we were a large group, we were placed at the back. THE FOOD. To start, I ordered Kele paca soup. DELICIOUS well filled large pieces of tender meat perfect. 10 Then ordered a large lamb mix grill. The skewers were perfect. Not grilled for too long, nice and tender. Well seasoned. Everything was well prepared. The entire menu was well grilled. We ordered fries, but they arrived quite later than the menus. That was a minus point. 9 After dinner we also ordered a kunefe, oops, oops, that was so tasty. But you have to be patient, it took about 40 minutes before it arrived. Flavor 10 Hygiene Toilet areas were fresh and clean. Considering how busy I was, I expected less, but it was good. 8 So in summary, definitely a place to visit again.
