Wir sind zufällig in dieses Restaurant gekommen und saßen im Garten. Es war einfach fantastisch, fast wie auf einer griechischen Insel. Auch das Essen war sehr lecker und authentisch. Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Abend! Vielen Dank!

Ich bin an einem Montag Abend allein essen gegangen. Ich wurde herzlich empfangen, sehr schnell und freundlich bedient und das Essen war gut eine Stufe ÜBER dem typischen „Griechen der Stadt“. Wirklich auf den Punkt gebraten, innerhalb von 15min serviert und wahrhaftig schmackhaft. Getränke und Service stehen dem zuvor beschriebenen in nichts nach. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Sehr leckeres Essen zum fairen Preis. Alles war frisch zubereitet und das Fleisch war auf den Punkt gebraten. Netter Service.

Hallo zusammen. Wir waren hier zum Mittagessen an einem Sonntag. Ich bestellte die 52 einen Grillteller mit Gyros und Lammschnitzel. Mein Mann die 131 eine Fischplatte. Beides hat uns sehr gut geschmeckt. Der Salat vorab war frisch und gemackvoll. Wie es dazu gehört, gab es einen kalten Ouzo zur Begrüßung und zum Abschied. Sollte wir wieder in der Nähe sein, kommen wir gerne wieder.

Wir hatten einen großartigen Abend im Restaurant Athen in Bernburg! Das Essen war hervorragend – frisch, aromatisch und perfekt zubereitet. Besonders beeindruckt hat uns die herzliche und aufmerksame Bedienung, die den Besuch noch angenehmer gemacht hat. Die Atmosphäre ist gemütlich und einladend, man fühlt sich sofort willkommen. Alles war stimmig – vom Vorspeisenteller bis zum Hauptgericht und dem abschließenden Ouzo. Ein Ort, an den man gerne zurückkommt. Klare 5 Sterne und absolute Empfehlung!

Ich glaube, meine erste Bewertung ist nicht angekommen, darum nochmal. Wir haben am Samstag, 22.11.25 eine sehr schöne Zeit im "Athen " verbracht. Das Essen war sehr, sehr schmackhaft und es wurde jeder individuelle Wunsch erfüllt. Hervorheben möchte ich die Gastfreundschaft. Obwohl das Restaurant bis auf den letzten Platz besetzt war, wurde das Essen schnell serviert. Alle Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich, obwohl sie unter Stress standen. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Wir waren mit einem Freund zum Mittagessen dort und mir hat das Lammfleisch sehr gut geschmeckt. Ich hoffe, wir kommen bald wieder.

Wir waren zum ersten Mal in diesem Restaurant und alles war perfekt.

Die Bewertung mit 4,7 lockte mich in dieses Restaurant. Die bei meinem Besuch am 17.11. gegen 18 Uhr dargebotenen Qualität der Lammplatte überzeugte nicht. Ich werde bei meinem nächsten Besuch in Bernburg lieber wieder das unweit gelegene weitere griechische Restaurant besuchen. Dort wurde ich mit besserer Qualität ähnlicher Speisen bewirtet.

Wir waren aus Köln zu Besuch im Restaurant Athen Bernburg und waren wirklich begeistert. Das Lammfilet mit Rotweinsauce war ein absoluter Genuss – zart, aromatisch und perfekt abgestimmt. Our absolute regular restaurant – and has been for years! Everything is just right here: the food, the service, and the warm atmosphere. We come regularly with family and friends, and every time we feel welcome and well looked after. The food is always fresh, lovingly prepared, and tastes simply outstanding. You can tell the passion that goes into the cooking here. The entire team is incredibly friendly, attentive, and always makes you feel at home. Even when it's busy, the staff remains professional and cheerful. For us, there's no better place to eat together, laugh, and have a good time. We highly recommend it – we always look forward to our next visit!

The lamb fillet, the red wine and pepper sauce, and the grilled suvlaki were particularly delicious. The homemade tzatziki was also one of the best I've ever tasted. The service was warm, attentive, and very friendly – ​​you immediately feel welcome. The atmosphere in the restaurant is cozy and inviting – with thoughtful details that immediately create a holiday feeling. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to enjoy good Greek food in a relaxed setting. We will definitely be back!

The owner works himself to the bone to get all the guests' orders to the table in a timely manner. He doesn't even seem stressed and remains friendly and attentive. Kudos to the way he and his team manage this. We opted for the Thessaloniki platter for two people and initially considered choosing an appetizer. It's a good thing we didn't! The grill was so generously loaded that we couldn't finish it all, so we had the rest packed up. So we enjoyed it twice. The ambiance is typical Greek style. Far too overstuffed and a bit too cheap for us. Overall, though, our visit was very pleasant and we enjoyed it a lot. Thank you very much!

Food and service very good, would go again

So, we had reserved a table for the evening shift at 5:30 p.m. – luckily, because the place was packed in no time! It's up on the first floor. Is there an elevator? No idea, we didn't look. We barely sat down and in 2 minutes, a salad plate and a shot of ouzo were on the table. They're doing great! 😄 Then, less than 10 minutes later, the main course arrived – really generous portions; we were stuffed. And as if that wasn't enough, we got another ouzo on the house. A special touch! The atmosphere was relaxed, the service was super friendly, everything was very laid-back. You immediately feel at home. Bottom line: If you're in the mood for delicious Greek food with friendly service – Athens has got it! 💙

A very nice restaurant with nice staff. The waiting time for the food lasts about 1 hour, but this was due to the high number of guests at the time of our visit. The taste of the food is a clear matter of opinion, for me the food took a lot of getting used to. The volume was also very high so that you almost couldn't understand your own words. I would not recommend the Greek Athens Restaurant.

I really enjoyed my visit to Restaurant Athens today. In good company I was able to taste the garlic bread, the grilled pepperoni and the puff pastry with spinach. The starters were very tasty and beautifully presented. The salad dressing for the side salads can be improved, but is good average. For the main course there was plaice fillet with incredibly delicious fried potatoes, a tender and perfectly cooked beef fillet and a typical Greek grill platter. Everything was very tasty and the staff asked when ordering what cooking point the beef wanted and this was met. It is also positive to note that Kiba (cherry banana juice) is on the menu and the shot glasses are filled over the 0.2cl line. The ambience was also very nice with Greek music but not too loud so it was easy to have a conversation. Staff was very friendly and funny and the toilets are clean. As a little insider tip I can recommend the Greek banana liqueur. I haven't heard of this in any restaurant before and it sweetened my evening with bananas at the end of my visit. Me and my friends would love to come back.
