"Green Chilly" - Indische & italienische Spezialitäten in Siegen

Today I ordered two curry dishes at a special price as part of Curry Day (Wednesday). The food was delicious, hot, and delivered faster than expected. The restaurant is also recommended for vegetarians; they offer many delicious vegetarian and vegan dishes!

Culinary value!! For us, THE address to order delicious and fresh food in Siegen. Without exception, all curries are great, incredibly tasty and authentically Indian. The bad reviews are a mystery to me. We've ordered a lot of times and it's always been really good. Usually delivery on point. If we waited 10 minutes, it was worth it! Please keep it up! 👍

I'm amazed at the good reviews! These are by no means authentic! I've had bad experiences with Green Chilly several times now. There was a lot of savings on meat when ordering, why? Another order took an extremely long time to deliver. The last time we ordered the food was so EXTREMELY spicy that we couldn't enjoy the food. Most of it ended up in the trash a day later. The food wasn't marked as spicy on the menu. That was so outrageous. We paid over €50 for the meal. By the way; Jumbo shrimp are the really big ones and not the normal ones. I advise against this place and would never recommend it. I'm sorry to give this review, but when you spend so much money you expect something in return.

The food here is absolutely delicious! Every dish we tried was full of flavor and cooked to perfection. I highly recommend the [Tikka Masala Curry and Lahm Biryani]. If you are a foodie like me, you will love this place! They offer a fantastic selection of dishes and we loved everything we tried. We only said good things about the food. I can't wait to come back :)

I don't understand all the good reviews at all, the food is totally bad and doesn't taste good, it's all really soft and very poorly seasoned. There are clearly better places to go and eat Indian food, with high quality and good value for money. No recommendation.

If you think you can fool and lie to customers, I actually don't have the opportunity to give out negative stars. With the competition, you don't have to accept that. Keep it up..... Now tell me about “not ordered”? Confirmation received from Lieferando. Called you twice after 90 minutes. It was said twice that the driver would be there in the next 5 minutes. Again, you don't have to lie to yourself. And you can buy as many “positive reviews” as you want, and you pass that on Ok, then let's go around like this. I was in the catering industry for 18 years and also worked with Lieferando and co. Nobody has to tell me anything about these services. And to make it CLEAR for you again, IF, according to YOUR statement, the order did NOT arrive, which could also be the case, WHY were we then told in 2 phone calls, stating the address, that the driver would be there in the next 5 minutes . It should be clear that something is wrong here. But as was already said on the phone, the issue has been settled for us. Thank you

Never again!!! After a long wait, call number 1 to ask when the food would come, the answer was that the food would come in 5 minutes. After another 20 minutes I asked again... The answer was that the driver was on the way. Called again another 20 minutes later... the statement was amazing, the order hadn't arrived. Then why do you say she is on the way twice? Instead of saying that at the beginning! That was the last time. Answer not acceptable, even if it were the case that an order didn't go through, then you don't say twice that the driver is on the way. 😒🤷‍♀️ Contact has already been made with lieferando. When I called personally I wasn't asked for an order number, only the street, and there are 6 houses on this street, I would have noticed if you had delivered here ;) please stick to the truth ;) Lying and cheating... some statements don't necessarily make you any better as a restaurateur. Thumbs up, my respect.

Recently I had the opportunity to visit Green Chilly restaurant and the experience was exceptional. From the moment I arrived I received a very friendly welcome from the team, who were attentive and ready to give me the best possible experience. Not only did they explain the menu to me, but they also recommended a variety of traditional Indian dishes, which was an excellent help in discovering new culinary experiences. The food was simply wonderful. Of the Indian dishes I have tried so far, I can say that Green Chilly was the best. The flavors were authentic and perfectly balanced, with spices in just the right amount without losing intensity. Each dish had a unique combination of flavors that left me completely satisfied. The entire experience was excellent, both due to the quality of the food and the hospitality of the team. If you are a fan of Indian cuisine or want to discover new flavors, I can definitely recommend Green Chilly. A place to definitely visit again!

I recently dined at Green Chili Restaurant and I have to say it was an incredible experience! As soon as we entered, we were greeted with warm hospitality and immediately felt at home in the cozy atmosphere. We ordered the Green Chili Pizza and it was absolutely delicious. The dough was perfectly baked, crispy on the outside and soft and chewy on the inside. The ingredients were fresh and flavorful, but the highlight was definitely the green chili! It added just the right amount of spiciness that complemented the cheese and sauce beautifully. We also tried the green chili curry and it was simply amazing. The curry was rich and creamy, with a perfect blend of spices that ideally complemented the fresh green chilli. Every bite was an explosion of flavor, the spiciness was just right - not overpowering, but still exciting. The sauce was smooth, savory and incredibly delicious. Overall, Green Chili Restaurant exceeded all of our expectations. The food was first class, the service friendly and attentive, and the flavors were simply incomparable. If you love bold, spicy dishes, this is definitely the place. I can't wait to come back and try more of the great menu! Highly recommended!

I used to be a loyal customer of Green chilly when I used to live in Siegen. The quality of the food was really good and I used to find it best among all the other Indian restaurant but 2 days ago I ordered Kadhai Paneer with garlic and butter Naan, Butter chicken and gulab jamun. Kadhai Paneer was my usual order but this time the dishes were not up to the mark. The paneer was swimming on the oil and taste was not good as well. Butter chicken was okay. The butter naan was hard and I found one insect in the rice which made me throw the whole rice which is complementary with the dishes. It was a huge disappointment for me and I will now think twice before ordering from the restaurant again.

Successful combination between Indian and Italian cuisine! The guys in the shop were very friendly, the food was freshly prepared and very tasty. Anyone expecting an upscale restaurant atmosphere may be disappointed. But for a good meal, the 'Green Chilly' is definitely a good address!

Even if it doesn't seem like it, for me this restaurant is the best Indian in Siegen. The food tastes good and the service is very friendly. Even during break times you are served and still warmly welcomed. I can only recommend you to try the Indian menu.

The driver was/is definitely a racing driver.

The food was inedible. Too much oil, too much spices and no paneer in paneer tikka masala. The one paneer piece that I ate felt like I was eating rubber. Do not get me started on the taste. That is not how the gravy for anything is made, forget paneer tikka masala. We also ordered chicken tikka masala, the taste was so bad that we threw away everything. There was no taste, it was not cooked properly, it was not packed properly. Everything was leaking. It felt like the food was not fresh. The same goes with paneer tikka masala and even roti and naan were old and not cooked properly. This is not the first time we have ordered from green chilly. This is the fifth time that we have paid between 35-60 euros for 2 people and got really really really bad food. The food is way below average and I would never recommend this place for Indian food. It is nothing like Indian food. I would recommend Swagath in Siegen, the food is fresh and has good taste.

Delivery was almost 2 hours late. Why do you as a supplier have the opportunity to specify a time if it simply says NOTHING?! Food wasn't worth the long wait. Really nothing great. I can't say anything about the ambience and food on site

Absolutely top class, the last time we ate such delicious Indian food was when we were still living in Frankfurt and even then we're not sure whether it won't beat that. Very nice people, vegan friendly and 100% recommended. I don't normally write comments, but I'm happy to write comments about the food. Oh yes, we even got the garlic naan prepared vegan upon request, 10/10.

Visited Green Chilli for the first time and loved it. Indian cuisine is truly delicious. I have never eaten such fresh naan. The mango lassi had a perfect consistency and, above all, not too watery. Butter chicken vegetarian was also very tasty. The price-performance ratio is also right these days.

Very tasty dishes. Lasagna tasted great, minced meat really tastes like meat and it fills you up. This also counts for the other dishes I have already eaten here. The staff is always friendly.

The pizza was very tasty and I can only recommend it

The food is good, that much in advance. However, the quality of delivery has deteriorated significantly. With our last orders, delivery took significantly longer than stated. Today it became too much. When ordering, it was stated that it would take quite a long time of 1.25 hours. When the food wasn't there yet, we called to ask and were told that our delivery would arrive "in about 20 minutes, maybe." After further inquiry 45 minutes later, they said that the driver was on the way and that "there was a lot going on today." After over an hour, almost 2.5 hours after ordering, the driver arrived completely stressed. The food was cold, the starters were soggy and the vegetarian wrap with lettuce, onions, cheese, potatoes, cucumbers and tomatoes was missing cheese, potatoes, cucumbers and tomatoes. So a wrap with lettuce and onions for €6.50. The complaint over the phone was dismissed with a simple apology and no attempts were made to accommodate us in any way. This is how you lose regular customers.

Today I had the pleasure of visiting the Indian-Pakistani restaurant Green Chilly in Siegen and was completely impressed. The service was excellent, the staff were very attentive and friendly, and I felt well looked after throughout the entire visit. My order was Indian curry, which was obviously freshly made. It was delicious and had just the right amount of spices and flavors. It was served with rice, naan bread and a refreshing yogurt dip, which was the perfect complement to my meal. The portions were generous and I felt satisfied and happy after eating. The atmosphere in the restaurant was also very pleasant. The decor was tasteful and created a welcoming atmosphere. The music and general mood contributed to an overall very pleasant dining experience. Overall, I can highly recommend Green Chilly. The quality of food, excellent service and cozy atmosphere make it a great choice for Indian-Pakistani cuisine lovers. I'm already looking forward to dining there again soon!

Very nice service. Good menu for a "fast food" service. Pizzas are very tasty, but the Indian food in particular is highly recommended. The biryani is a poem - absolute recommendation.

Die Nudeln nach Carbonara Art waren sehr lecker, warm und es war eine üppige Portion, sodass es noch für einen anderen Zeitpunkt reicht. Für den Preis von 9€ vollkommen in Ordnung. Pizza ist auch gut und lecker. Allerdings wurde ich vor ein paar Monaten von einem Curry-Gericht enttäuscht, welches sehr trockenen Reis, übergroße Zwiebelstücke und lediglich nur 3-4 große Stücke Huhn drin hatte. Ansonsten eine sehr große Auswahl an Gerichten für jeden und schnelle Zubereitung/Lieferung.

We ordered two pizzas: BBQ and Sucuk. They tasted good. The restaurant is clean. The lady is extremely nice and friendly. One star is missing because I think it is a bit expensive for that size of a pizza.

Mir hat es im Green Chilly gut geschmeckt. Allerdings mag ich auch scharfe Speisen sehr. Ein wenig Schärfe haben auch die Gerichte, die nicht als scharf ausgewiesen wurden. Zum längeren Verweilen lädt das Restaurant nur bedingt ein, es ist mehr ein Imbiss. Dafür halten sich die Preise aber auch im Rahmen. Ich werde sicher wieder mal hingehen.

Ich habe mir jetzt schön öfter Essen hier bestellt und abgeholt . Ich war immer sehr zufrieden ! Das Essen schmeckt fabelhaft und ist immer schön heiß ! Aber ich möchte bitte den Besitzer dieser Lokalität darum bitten jemanden hinter die Theke zu stellen welcher der deutschen Sprache mächtig ist ! Ich hatte des öfteren Verständigungsprobleme mit dem Herrn hinter der Theke ! Da wir hier in Deutschland leben möchte ich in einem Restaurant mich auch auf deutsch unterhalten können ! Gruß

Indische Gerichte waren sehr lecker und preiswert. Vor Ort gegessen und überzeugt vom Essen.

Preise sind gut erhöht worden. Verständlich. Pizza war sehr lecker & Bedienung sehr freundlich. Aber: Selbst gemachten Getränke sind nicht zu empfehlen -> reklamiert. Antwort: Ja wir wissen, dass die nicht gut sind und dass da wenig Mango drin ist. Wir hatten wenig Zeit gestern. ??? Ok Aussage ist fair aber: - Warum stehen die dann überhaupt im Kühlschrank? - Wieso werden die trotz berechtigter Reklamation vollständig berechnet? Hätte gedacht, dass man einem hier entgegen kommt. Ist nicht kundenfreundlich und ok. Daher auch nur 3 Sterne.

Der Laden ist sehr sympathisch. Esse da in unregelmäßigen Abständen sehr gerne. Alle Mitarbeiter bis waren sehr freundlich. Die Zutaten schmecken hochwerti und der Preis ist vollkommen gerechtfertigt. Danke für eure Arbeit!

die beste Pizza in Siegen. leckerer und dünner Teig, frische Produkte. eine große Menge an Zutaten für die Pizza. Lieferung immer pünktlich und manchmal ein paar Minuten früher. Ich liebe 11/10.

Eine kleiner gemütlicher Indicher Imbiss. Nettes Personal und man kann gut Essen. Die Portion sind reichlich und eine reichlich Auswahl. Werde noch öfter da hin gefahren.

Heute zum 1. Mal ausprobiert, unseren Geschmack hat es nicht wirklich getroffen: Das klassische Curry war uns zu fade, das Tikka Masala zu scharf, aber ist ja nun mal Geschmackssache. Was aber zudem ärgerlich war, im Internet steht Donnerstags alle Currys 7,50 €, tatsächlich wurde der Preis aber nun auf 11 € hoch gesetzt. Das ist schon heftig. Portionen waren wenigstens ordentlich.

Sehr lecker Indisches essen! Nehm aber Bar mit, weil die keine Karte akzeptieren.

Sehr gutes Essen. Durch verschiedene Köche am Herd immer bisschen anders. Mehr Kontinuietät im Geschmack wäre wünschenswert. Alles in allem aber immer wieder lohnenswert und ein Muss für Liebhaber Indischer Küche und ausgefallener Pizza.
