The worst sushi I've ever eaten. I'm a passionate traveler and try sushi in many places. I would absolutely not recommend this restaurant.

This place is very mid, I’d put the sushi quality a bit lower than what you typically find at most medium end restaurants. It’s really not AYCE; at least in the aspect of the US. I’m used to AYCE meaning you can pull from a variety of rolls+ nigiri options that are equal to or better than what you find in most medium end restaurants. This place is more akin to a buffet where the sushi is left out and you come and chose it yourself. Not much is made to order, tempura rolls come out room temp and you can tell the fish has been sitting in the rice for a while, similar to those cheap Chinese buffets that offer a limited selection of sushi. The rules too don’t make any sense for the quality you receive, you can order a max of 5 dishes every 10 minutes; but again why go here when you could get the same quality from a cheap Chinese buffet and not be limited by the clock? Atmosphere is cute, and the service leaves no complaints. However it just doesn’t make up for the lackluster food. Overall underwhelming, will not return nor recommend.

The food was delicious and fresh, I like the concept with the tapas portions. The service was quick but impersonal; everything was simply placed on the tables without a word, which I personally found a bit disappointing. Excellent value for money! Definitely recommended!

The GRAND Asia Restaurant in Wiesbaden impresses with its fantastic all-you-can-eat concept: Every 15 minutes, you can conveniently order five dishes via tablet – very simple and user-friendly. The selection is extensive, and the well-designed layout makes the space pleasant, so it doesn't get too noisy even when it's busy. The staff is friendly, although the restaurant can get a bit warm at times. It's also advisable not to order too much, as leftover food is charged – good for the environment, but something to keep in mind. Drinks are a bit pricey, and making a reservation in advance is definitely recommended. Overall, a very good experience!

The food was extremely bad and even made me feel physically ill. Everything was full of vegetable oils, dough, and rice. The lunch menu was an absolute disgrace. It's not mentioned on the website that the regular menu is only available in the evenings. The lunch selection consists solely of greasy, low-quality dishes. The entire restaurant is in dire need of renovation, not just refurbishment. Many areas are sticky, poorly maintained, and require a thorough deep cleaning. The restrooms reek of sewage, which is completely unacceptable. Furthermore, Grand Asia seems to be deliberately deleting negative reviews. The numerous "overwhelmingly positive" reviews appear fake; many seem to have been written by employees or AI bots, and the photos look almost identical.

The shop is incredibly nice. The waiters were also very friendly and helpful. Both the food and the shop itself were beautifully presented. You can tell the food is very fresh. Unfortunately, a few things we ordered didn't arrive, which was a shame, but okay. The bathrooms were clean, but the toilet didn't close properly, and the sink was broken. Otherwise, we were really satisfied and would happily go back.

The food was absolutely not tasty. The sushi is among the worst in Wiesbaden. The manager responded to the review with the words, "Everyone has different tastes." For the price, it's a disaster. They only use the cheapest of the cheapest. The tuna smelled spoiled. We all have a bad feeling in our stomachs after eating it. I can only explain the positive reviews by the "YumYum Instant Soup" generation. It was also very loud! And because the huge entrance door is always completely open, it's incredibly cold in the place. Even the waitress made it clear that she wasn't surprised by our feedback. All you can eat always recommended

Perfectly fine for two people...but with three people at the table, the service gets confused. Nobody remembers what was ordered, half the food was missing, and even after repeated inquiries, it didn't arrive. Drinks weren't brought until after we asked.

We were at the former Okinii years ago and now wanted to try Grand Asia. When we sat down, we were told that the food looked like the iPad images. I suggest you skip the staff comment. The food doesn't look anything like it, and the taste is miles away from good sushi. Udon noodles are swimming in an unappealing sauce that tastes exactly like it looks, the beef fillet was sitting on two or three iceberg lettuce leaves that were already overripe, etc. The maki were not good, the seaweed leaves were of the worst quality, not to mention the salmon, etc. The rest of the sushi was the same. Yes, it's always a matter of taste, but we consider it 2 stars. Especially at the price of €35 per person.

The food was absolutely fantastic! The service was also superbly coordinated and friendly throughout our visit. And the atmosphere is worth a photo for everyone 😊 It's a bit more expensive... But it's really good for a date!

We regularly go to restaurants that offer this kind of concept. This gives us a good opportunity to compare prices. First of all, the value for money is really good. The food is very good, which isn't a given at these prices. As for the food itself, we would personally enjoy a slightly more intense flavor, although it also has to appeal to everyone's taste. Overall, we were really satisfied. The service is friendly, fast, and also has a pleasant sense of humor. We will definitely come back next time we're in the area.

Unfortunately, the service was very poor, even though it wasn't busy. With every order, at least one item was forgotten, and it took a long time to replace it. During the final order, we were informed that the missing items from the first order were no longer available that day – so why are they still allowed to order them and make people wait unnecessarily? The area around the restroom smelled like a sewer, and everything was flooded.

The restaurant's ambiance was truly appealing – stylish, cozy, and designed with attention to detail. Unfortunately, the food couldn't live up to that. For the high prices, I expected much more. While the dishes looked sophisticated, the taste was disappointing: dry, sometimes carelessly prepared, and overall not well-balanced. Unfortunately, it seemed as if more emphasis had been placed on presentation than taste. Overall, the atmosphere made it a pleasant evening, but the food was definitely not worth the money. It's a shame, as there could have been much more.

Simply something special... Orders are made using a tablet, and you order in individual rounds. Each round allows you to choose five items, place your order, and then order the next round after 15 minutes. From sushi to duck, everything is there.

Super tasty food, quite expensive. But what else can you expect in Wiesbaden. Everything we eat is always fresh, the lemonades are incredibly tasty and everything is always freshly prepared. I really enjoy eating there.

TOP AllYouCanEat offer. All dishes were very tasty, top service and the ambience was outstanding. Only the tuna sashimi was musty and went back, it shouldn't be.

We there on Friday afternoon. For the children we asked to be able to order à la carte unscheduled. The service person Ramin was very friendly and made this possible for us. Ramin took great care to ensure that we felt comfortable until the end of our visit. The pricing is too expensive for a visit with smaller children. But: It's a nice shop, but the food is a bit too expensive for a visit with children, unless you accommodate the family like Ramin did for us. Thanks for that! A restaurant with authentic, delicious food and a chic ambience. Perfect for a visit with friends if you can afford a meal for €30.

Ordering system takes a bit of getting used to at the beginning. But the nice service helped us and then it worked. The food selection and the food itself are recommended. The only thing that bothered us was the noise in the fully occupied restaurant and the somewhat dark atmosphere.

It tastes good, but I got severe heartburn after my last visit (duck with spicy Hoi Sin sauce). Unfortunately the tables are not cleaned properly! Quickly wiping it from table to table with the sponge cloth is definitely not enough. There is still a film of grease on the tables afterwards so that you can write/smear on it with your finger. The gunk was hard to absorb, even with a dry napkin.

Went there twice but the price-performance ratio wasn't right for me. The grilled things like lamb and beef are delicious. But the taste of sushi is too weak and noodles are absolutely useless. The staff is undoubtedly nice, but overall it doesn't suit me, especially when you have teenagers who are full after the first round. Then it's better to go to the a la carte Asian restaurant.

A very good restaurant worth trying

You get a tablet (in three different languages of choice) and you get to order yourself food off of an unlimited menu. It’s extremely simple and the food is incredible. Good prices.

“Absolutely outrageous! We were with a group of 13 people after a karaoke evening at the Grand Asia and wanted to spontaneously go out for dinner there. When registering, we asked whether it would be okay if a person could not eat a buffet due to recent surgery but would only order a small dish. The answer was an absolutely incomprehensible “No, then she’s not allowed to eat with us”. I've never experienced anything so ridiculous! Instead of simply allowing one person to order a small dish, they chose to voluntarily give up over €400 in sales. This isn't about flexibility or customer service - this is just unprofessional and rude. Definitely won’t be coming back!”

The value for money is abysmal. Better yet, go to one of the wonderful Asian restaurants in Wiesbaden. Order traditionally with the waitress, have an appetizer, main course, and dessert, and you'll be served much better (and cheaper) than with this expensive concept. The others, by the way, are also better at quality and preparation.

The all-you-can-eat menu had small portions, which is good because you can try everything, but unfortunately, the quality of the ingredients was quite poor and the presentation was poor. On top of that, it was so salty that some of the meat dishes with sauces were simply inedible. A shame.

Overall, I found the price too high for the quality of the food. It's all about shoveling as much food as you can into your mouth, but for that price, it's definitely not worth it. The staff was friendly.

It's absolutely baffling to me how so many positive reviews come about. It just goes to show that most people simply care about being able to cram in a lot. Quantity is simply more important than quality. The quality of the fish is very questionable. Fresh is definitely not what you'd call it. The fish looks very shredded and stringy, watery, and has long since lost its natural (fresh) color. Unfortunately, it looks like it's been thawed! A huge disappointment in terms of taste and appearance. Even the comparatively low price compared to other sushi buffets in the Rhine-Main area is no justification for offering such quality. We stopped after three rounds and couldn't bear the whole thing any longer. Anyone who thinks this restaurant scores points for its service is sadly mistaken. We had a disastrous experience from start to finish. ``` It started with three employees smoking right outside the restaurant, and we had to dodge them with the stroller to get in. It's a nice idea to be able to order different dishes every 15 minutes using a tablet. The food arrived quickly. Overall, however, I wasn't really impressed with the quality. It seemed unloving and of rather average quality, which I didn't think was appropriate for the price. Some "special" dishes cost extra, which I don't understand. The stairs leading to the restrooms in the basement were very dirty, which didn't feel very inviting. The service was generally friendly.

The staff were truly, without exception, super friendly and accommodating. The food always came quickly and was very fresh and delicious. The premises and restrooms were very clean. We highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely be back!

We spontaneously stopped in today and were pleasantly surprised. We were very satisfied with our server. However, one of the ladies very clumsily shoved our food onto our table. Anyone who goes to the restroom gets a bit of a labyrinth. Paper towels are better than a handheld fan that sprays everything at you. My visit to the Grand Asia Restaurant in Wiesbaden was unfortunately a complete disappointment – ​​and, moreover, a health risk! The very first dish I was served was raw – and I'm not talking about sushi, but a shrimp that was supposed to be cooked. My complaint was met with a curt "I'll bring a new one," without an apology or any understanding. It could be forgiven that something like this happened once, but when we were served three raw dishes over the course of the evening, the limit had been crossed. Cold dishes that were supposed to be fried and warm didn't make things any better. One dish even tasted sour, as if the fish had gone bad. That's not only unpleasant, but downright dangerous. The service was also rude. My polite inquiry as to whether they could offer a price reduction due to the multiple problems was initially met with arguments and yelling. In the end, we were given a free drink – which felt like a bad joke. However, I found the comment "Yeah, then eat somewhere else!" particularly rude. This is simply unacceptable. Conclusion: Unfriendly service, raw and spoiled food, and a total lack of responsibility – this is absolutely unacceptable. For over €40 per person including drinks, I expect not only quality, but also that the health of the guests is taken seriously. I will certainly not return to this restaurant and advise everyone to avoid it as well.

Nice restaurant with friendly service and good food. The tablet ordering concept is nice and fun. We sometimes had to wait a long time for food to arrive, and what did arrive was sometimes only lukewarm... maybe you could pay a little attention to that, because it tastes better hot ;-)

Where to start? Before going there, we of course looked at the reviews to form an opinion: 4.5/5, more than 500 reviews. Honestly it's not worth more than TWO STARS. The service was slow and the food was really not exceptional (burnt mushrooms, really oily gyoza, paid sashimi and not super fresh) especially since the portions were really small. Total €82 for two. I recently visited Grand Asia and would like to share my experience. First of all, the restaurant is beautifully designed and the concept seems promising. However, many of the dishes served had an unpleasant aftertaste, suggesting that the ingredients may not have been entirely fresh. I have already visited several all-you-can-eat restaurants and unfortunately I would not recommend Grand Asia in comparison. Been to a few restaurants with this ordering system. We were there with a group of 9 people at two tables next to each other with 3 iPads. To my surprise, each round was brought to the respective table and the orders were always complete. This actually exceeded my expectations. So I would like to praise the organization.

For me the best restaurant in Germany. We've been a regular since the beginning and have brought all of our friends here to convince them too. The feedback from them is also outstanding. I feel at home here, you notice your face relatively quickly and the employees always take the time for a short conversation. 2 hours from the first order 5 points per person and 15 minutes waiting time between orders. I didn't find the selection in the sushi area to be that diverse and limited, but the food tasted great and the service was quick.

That was an unforgettable experience. My friends from France and I really enjoyed the food. We were even personally welcomed and warmly welcomed by the managing director, Ms. Wu. The system using the iPad to place the order and the speed of serving surprised us. The staff was always present and very polite. The price ratio for the huge selection of "all you can eat" dishes is really cheap and the home-made lemonades are very tasty. I can really recommend this restaurant to everyone with a clear conscience. "All in one" great.

The three of us went to the Grand Asia for the first time on Saturday and were absolutely thrilled! We really enjoyed the concept of ordering from a tablet every 15 minutes. The selection of dishes is huge and everything we tried was incredibly tasty. We particularly liked how quickly the food came - you never had to wait long. The ambience in the restaurant was also very nice, with a modern and cozy atmosphere in which we immediately felt at home. A big compliment to our waiter Faruk! He gave us excellent advice, was super friendly and was always there when we had questions. The service was truly first class. We'll definitely be back!

The food is quite okay, although it is too expensive in the Grssamtschau and not comparable to other sushi restaurants. What really irritated us: we had reserved and at the entrance we were told we could choose a table. As we were sitting, another employee came and told us away - he had to push the tables together because a larger group was coming. We were sent to the farthest corner of the restaurant (where the tables could have been pushed together). No larger group came as long as we were there (two hours) and I noted that when paying. The waiter just pushed the card payment machine over without a word. Was it because we were an older woman and two daughters? In any case, that really annoyed us and we won't be eating here anymore.

I used to live in Wiesbaden, and my favorite place to visit was "GRAND Asia Restaurant." It had kind service and incredible cuisine that you could order as many times as you like! Every time I visited, I was seated promptly and given a tablet to order food with. If it's your first time, you can let them know, and they'll explain how the system works. Every server I encountered spoke good English, so I didn't misunderstand the rules. You use the tablet to select anything you want in the lunch or dinner menu; certain items will cost you extra like alcoholic drinks. After ordering these items, you'll have a mandatory 15-minute break before you can order more. This allows the kitchen staff to not be overwhelmed by so many purchases. The stand out dishes I had included the Takoyaki, Sake Yaki, Gyoza Tori, and Fried Oreos. For drinks, I really loved their 'Swimming Pool' and I have attempted to make it back at home, but it doesn't taste the same. Because you can order so many things at one time, the portions are much smaller than a regular entree. As much as I loved this place, I had to remove one star because of the environment. Yes, it was clean and had a beautiful Cherry Blossom aesthetic, but because they keep their doors open, that leads to a lot of flies. On one occasion, I had to constantly swat away as many as FOUR flies from touching my food. I didn't like needing to defend all of my dishes from insects, and if I disliked anything else from this restaurant, I probably wouldn't have ever come back. But with their high-quality and decent prices, I was willing to risk being attacked again just to have another bite of that delicious food. Hopefully, by now, the problem has been solved. This place deserves more popularity, and by removing that one issue, "GRAND Asia Restaurant" can be a huge staple in the Wiesbaden area!

The ambience is stylish and inviting, ideal for a relaxed evening. The staff is very friendly and attentive, which makes the visit even more pleasant. In terms of price, it is in the upper range. The selection is ok for vegetarians. I would particularly recommend the fried Raffaelo

Good concept, good execution, but the quality of the food suffers considerably. Sushi is nothing, really not good at all. I tried everything you had there and they were all dry as the Sahara. All of these other small dishes are 80% deep-fried, and the rest are small noodles that are simply kept in a cool place. You make almost nothing yourself and nothing fresh, which is also noticeable because I feel so sick at 4 a.m. that I've been to the bathroom six times now. I hope you realize that not everyone likes cheap food for upwards of €50 per person. It's absolutely outrageous to pass something like this off as good food with the decor like every other Chinese takeaway. Not Grand Asia, but Small Asia.

Service here is limited to serving the order, which was previously placed on a tray. I find it very impersonal. Another innovative option would be to have the ordered food delivered by modern robots. The food was very good, though. In my opinion, it was too expensive for the overall service I received.
