What can I say,after 40 years in gastronomy I've never had to negotiate the bill before recieving my bottle of water.Wait time aproximately 20 minutes .Food was delicious and each round came fast but the beginning left a bad aftertaste in my mouth . Beautiful interior deco. FYI. I watched 3 guests take 2 all u can eat and blatant all three were eating. What the hell is that for a concept???? Lucky for your restaurant the competition for all u can eat sushi is thin in Wiesbaden.

The food was very good and the staff were consistently very nice and friendly. However, the cleanliness of the restaurant left something to be desired; there were cobwebs in the corners of the entrance area and everything was quite dusty. The restrooms also smelled very bad, were very dirty, and the floor was sticky. But as I said, the food was good.

My wife and I were out alone for the first time in ages and spontaneously decided to try a new restaurant. Even upon entering the Grand Asia Restaurant, we had a lovely feeling, with a beautiful tree right in the entrance area. We were warmly welcomed and shown to our table. Since it was our first time at an all-you-can-eat sushi restaurant, they gave us a thorough explanation of how the tablet system worked. We tech novices quickly figured it out and didn't hesitate to place our first order. It arrived at our table six minutes later. Then we started sampling the different varieties. They were absolutely delicious! After three rounds, we felt pretty stuffed, but of course, we also tried the entire dessert menu 😁🤣 In short, there's something for everyone. We were very happy with everything, even the price, as everything was fresh and handmade. We'll definitely be back.

They serve delicious Asian food here. Sometimes you get a surprise order that you didn't place, but since it doesn't appear on the bill, it's more interesting than annoying. The food is of good to very good quality, and the homemade sodas are something special. We'd happily go back again.

The prices for a buffet at GRAND Asia are higher than at other buffets – which didn't stop me from trying the food. I personally find the concept of ordering with an iPad very interesting. That was also one of the reasons I went there. I think the points system is well implemented. Certain dishes and all drinks cost extra, which is also common in other restaurants. What I found problematic was that the food often arrived very late, which is still acceptable in my opinion. However, unfortunately, one or two dishes per round were often not served at all. The portions are relatively small, which I personally like because you can always order more. Unfortunately, most of it tasted like nothing, so a small portion was enough for me each time. The soups, in particular, all tasted the same. I thought the sushi was good, so it gets an extra star. The rest isn't worth mentioning. I'm not convinced. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this restaurant. Unfortunately, for the price, you don't get the food you expect (if it even arrives at all). I also can't recommend this restaurant to picky eaters. There's too little standard selection – save your money :)

When I saw the prices, my first thought was, "Oops – and you only get five pieces for that!" Especially at the beginning, you feel like you won't really be full, particularly since the rounds are staggered. A few pieces every 15 minutes – I wasn't sure if that would be enough. But after the third round, I had to change my mind: I was surprisingly full. I really hadn't expected that. So, in terms of quantity, it was absolutely sufficient in the end. The overall quality was okay, the taste was good, but for my personal taste, it lacked that final little something to give it five stars. That's clearly subjective; tastes simply differ. Personally, I found it rather expensive in terms of value for money, even though the food was good overall. All in all, a good sushi experience, but not quite a "wow" moment for five stars. That's my personal impression – hence four stars.

I had a great selection at the lunch buffet (€20.90) and wasn't disappointed at all. For people who like sushi, it's a must, as I've never eaten such good sushi at such a price anywhere else (especially since I ate my fill of it). Besides sushi, there are other dishes that you'd expect from other Asian all-you-can-eat restaurants, but of significantly better quality. The concept, which I haven't seen anywhere else, was also very well executed, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone who likes Asian food. The only downside, which I don't consider worth mentioning in my review, is that the food, except for the wasabi, isn't particularly spicy.

Today was our first time at Grand Asia. The sushi itself was very tasty, and there was a good selection (we had lunch). What was quite frustrating, however, were the long wait times (sometimes 25 minutes) per order, which made it difficult to order smaller portions. The young man who served us also seemed to struggle with saying "please" and "thank you." The gentleman at reception and at the cash register was extremely friendly and tried very hard to make up for the long wait.

A lovely Asian restaurant centrally located in Wiesbaden, although finding parking is a bit difficult, as the surrounding parking garages are quite expensive. We found the all-you-can-eat concept very appealing, as small portions are always served, making it easy to try different dishes. We'd gladly return.

The food is delicious, the service is friendly, and there is a wide selection, but the internet connection failed several times!! so that orders which have to be placed digitally via tablets could not be sent.

For over ten years, I've been a regular at Grand Asia Sushi All You Can Eat – and for good reason. The sushi is consistently fresh, the salmon is finely and tenderly sliced, and the rice-to-fish ratio is perfectly balanced. A particular highlight: the rice is pleasantly moist and not dry, as is unfortunately often the case in other sushi restaurants. The topping sauces are excellent and give each roll that special something. The flambéed salmon is undoubtedly the star of the show. The second round maintains the high standard seamlessly: tenderly grilled lamb chops, top-quality beef, and a lovely selection of desserts round off the experience. Consistently high quality, a wide selection, and an owner who knows his craft – for me, Grand Asia has been a go-to destination for years and one of the best of its kind.

I visited this restaurant 2 times, the price and the quality is okay but drinks definitely overpriced. Sushi was delicious but other options was edible (not great, not bad) if you have weak stomach better to skip this place. Although food was okay but the one thing please drop the plastic plates it feels like a Kantine rather than a restaurant and let alone it's hard to clean, the basement reek of pork fat. Staff was helpful and friendly, atmosphere is also nice, this restaurant is mediocre at best but for sushi definitely worth it

We've been here several times. The all-you-can-eat dinner for €35 is perfectly reasonable. The service is professional, fast, friendly, and helpful. Everything tastes delicious and is freshly prepared.

I eat here about once a month – and that pretty much says it all. This Japanese-Chinese all-you-can-eat restaurant is simply perfect for me. The prices are absolutely fair, especially considering the quality. The sushi is a real highlight: the rice isn't mushy or sticky like in many other buffet restaurants, but wonderfully grainy and perfectly prepared. You can taste the care that goes into making it – incredibly delicious! The hot dishes are at least as good, if not better. The meat is incredibly tender, perfectly grilled, and wonderfully garlicky. The fish and shrimp are also fresh, succulent, and cooked to perfection. Overall, everything tastes fantastic. And when it comes to dessert, there's something for everyone: ice cream, fried bananas, and much more – there's something to satisfy every palate. Whether you prefer savory or sweet, you'll find something to love here. A big shout-out also goes to the staff: super friendly, attentive, and always helpful. Every request is taken seriously, and you feel completely welcome. I love this restaurant and can wholeheartedly recommend it. It's a delight every time! 🍣✨

The sushi is very tasty. The hot dishes were consistently rather bland or not very good. I also complained about two dishes. This was met with a shrug. We also had a 6 1/2-year-old girl with us. Charging her €35 was outrageous. Unfortunately, we won't be coming back. Update: €16 was charged for the child. This has since been clarified. I've given the service 4 stars.

A huge thank you to the waiter who showed us how the ordering system works on December 25th at around 5 pm. He was incredibly friendly and did a great job. We would have gladly given him a bigger tip. I hope he gets a raise! 🤌🏼

This place is very mid, I’d put the sushi quality a bit lower than what you typically find at most medium end restaurants. It’s really not AYCE; at least in the aspect of the US. I’m used to AYCE meaning you can pull from a variety of rolls+ nigiri options that are equal to or better than what you find in most medium end restaurants. This place is more akin to a buffet where the sushi is left out and you come and chose it yourself. Not much is made to order, tempura rolls come out room temp and you can tell the fish has been sitting in the rice for a while, similar to those cheap Chinese buffets that offer a limited selection of sushi. The rules too don’t make any sense for the quality you receive, you can order a max of 5 dishes every 10 minutes; but again why go here when you could get the same quality from a cheap Chinese buffet and not be limited by the clock? Atmosphere is cute, and the service leaves no complaints. However it just doesn’t make up for the lackluster food. Overall underwhelming, will not return nor recommend.

The food was extremely bad and even made me feel physically ill. Everything was full of vegetable oils, dough, and rice. The lunch menu was an absolute disgrace. It's not mentioned on the website that the regular menu is only available in the evenings. The lunch selection consists solely of greasy, low-quality dishes. The entire restaurant is in dire need of renovation, not just refurbishment. Many areas are sticky, poorly maintained, and require a thorough deep cleaning. The restrooms reek of sewage, which is completely unacceptable. Furthermore, Grand Asia seems to be deliberately deleting negative reviews. The numerous "overwhelmingly positive" reviews appear fake; many seem to have been written by employees or AI bots, and the photos look almost identical.

I've been there two or three times, but this time it was a complete disaster. The food wasn't tasty at all. The sushi wasn't fresh, and the service was unfortunately overwhelmed! The shop is incredibly nice. The waiters were also very friendly and helpful. Both the food and the shop itself were beautifully presented. You can tell the food is very fresh. Unfortunately, a few things we ordered didn't arrive, which was a shame, but okay. The bathrooms were clean, but the toilet didn't close properly, and the sink was broken. Otherwise, we were really satisfied and would happily go back.

The food was absolutely not tasty. The sushi is among the worst in Wiesbaden. The manager responded to the review with the words, "Everyone has different tastes." For the price, it's a disaster. They only use the cheapest of the cheapest. The tuna smelled spoiled. We all have a bad feeling in our stomachs after eating it. I can only explain the positive reviews by the "YumYum Instant Soup" generation. It was also very loud! And because the huge entrance door is always completely open, it's incredibly cold in the place. Even the waitress made it clear that she wasn't surprised by our feedback. All you can eat always recommended

We were at the former Okinii years ago and now wanted to try Grand Asia. When we sat down, we were told that the food looked like the iPad images. I suggest you skip the staff comment. The food doesn't look anything like it, and the taste is miles away from good sushi. Udon noodles are swimming in an unappealing sauce that tastes exactly like it looks, the beef fillet was sitting on two or three iceberg lettuce leaves that were already overripe, etc. The maki were not good, the seaweed leaves were of the worst quality, not to mention the salmon, etc. The rest of the sushi was the same. Yes, it's always a matter of taste, but we consider it 2 stars. Especially at the price of €35 per person.

Perfectly fine for two people...but with three people at the table, the service gets confused. Nobody remembers what was ordered, half the food was missing, and even after repeated inquiries, it didn't arrive. Drinks weren't brought until after we asked.

We regularly go to restaurants that offer this kind of concept. This gives us a good opportunity to compare prices. First of all, the value for money is really good. The food is very good, which isn't a given at these prices. As for the food itself, we would personally enjoy a slightly more intense flavor, although it also has to appeal to everyone's taste. Overall, we were really satisfied. The service is friendly, fast, and also has a pleasant sense of humor. We will definitely come back next time we're in the area.

Unfortunately, the service was very poor, even though it wasn't busy. With every order, at least one item was forgotten, and it took a long time to replace it. During the final order, we were informed that the missing items from the first order were no longer available that day – so why are they still allowed to order them and make people wait unnecessarily? The area around the restroom smelled like a sewer, and everything was flooded.

I was at the Grand Asia Wiesbaden restaurant today and I'm very disappointed. The service was extremely poor – I was ignored, and no one came to take my order. After a long wait, I left hungry. Furthermore, the menu was very poor, with hardly any choice, and nothing looked particularly appetizing. I wasted my time and absolutely cannot recommend this restaurant. This is not how you treat guests.

The restaurant's ambiance was truly appealing – stylish, cozy, and designed with attention to detail. Unfortunately, the food couldn't live up to that. For the high prices, I expected much more. While the dishes looked sophisticated, the taste was disappointing: dry, sometimes carelessly prepared, and overall not well-balanced. Unfortunately, it seemed as if more emphasis had been placed on presentation than taste. Overall, the atmosphere made it a pleasant evening, but the food was definitely not worth the money. Simply something special... Orders are made using a tablet, and you order in individual rounds. Each round allows you to choose five items, place your order, and then order the next round after 15 minutes. From sushi to duck, everything is there.

We there on Friday afternoon. For the children we asked to be able to order à la carte unscheduled. The service person Ramin was very friendly and made this possible for us. Ramin took great care to ensure that we felt comfortable until the end of our visit. The pricing is too expensive for a visit with smaller children. But: It's a nice shop, but the food is a bit too expensive for a visit with children, unless you accommodate the family like Ramin did for us. Thanks for that! A restaurant with authentic, delicious food and a chic ambience. Perfect for a visit with friends if you can afford a meal for €30.

Ordering system takes a bit of getting used to at the beginning. But the nice service helped us and then it worked. The food selection and the food itself are recommended. The only thing that bothered us was the noise in the fully occupied restaurant and the somewhat dark atmosphere.

It tastes good, but I got severe heartburn after my last visit (duck with spicy Hoi Sin sauce). Unfortunately the tables are not cleaned properly! Quickly wiping it from table to table with the sponge cloth is definitely not enough. There is still a film of grease on the tables afterwards so that you can write/smear on it with your finger. The gunk was hard to absorb, even with a dry napkin.

Went there twice but the price-performance ratio wasn't right for me. The grilled things like lamb and beef are delicious. But the taste of sushi is too weak and noodles are absolutely useless. The staff is undoubtedly nice, but overall it doesn't suit me, especially when you have teenagers who are full after the first round. Then it's better to go to the a la carte Asian restaurant.

A very good restaurant worth trying

“Absolutely outrageous! We were with a group of 13 people after a karaoke evening at the Grand Asia and wanted to spontaneously go out for dinner there. When registering, we asked whether it would be okay if a person could not eat a buffet due to recent surgery but would only order a small dish. The answer was an absolutely incomprehensible “No, then she’s not allowed to eat with us”. I've never experienced anything so ridiculous! Instead of simply allowing one person to order a small dish, they chose to voluntarily give up over €400 in sales. This isn't about flexibility or customer service - this is just unprofessional and rude. Definitely won’t be coming back!”

You get a tablet (in three different languages of choice) and you get to order yourself food off of an unlimited menu. It’s extremely simple and the food is incredible. Good prices.

The value for money is abysmal. Better yet, go to one of the wonderful Asian restaurants in Wiesbaden. Order traditionally with the waitress, have an appetizer, main course, and dessert, and you'll be served much better (and cheaper) than with this expensive concept. The others, by the way, are also better at quality and preparation.

The all-you-can-eat menu had small portions, which is good because you can try everything, but unfortunately, the quality of the ingredients was quite poor and the presentation was poor. On top of that, it was so salty that some of the meat dishes with sauces were simply inedible. A shame.

Overall, I found the price too high for the quality of the food. It's all about shoveling as much food as you can into your mouth, but for that price, it's definitely not worth it. The staff was friendly.

It's absolutely baffling to me how so many positive reviews come about. It just goes to show that most people simply care about being able to cram in a lot. Quantity is simply more important than quality. The quality of the fish is very questionable. Fresh is definitely not what you'd call it. The fish looks very shredded and stringy, watery, and has long since lost its natural (fresh) color. Unfortunately, it looks like it's been thawed! A huge disappointment in terms of taste and appearance. Even the comparatively low price compared to other sushi buffets in the Rhine-Main area is no justification for offering such quality. We stopped after three rounds and couldn't bear the whole thing any longer. Anyone who thinks this restaurant scores points for its service is sadly mistaken. At the table, the waiter asked us if we had come for the lunch or dinner buffet. I was a bit confused because it was about 2 p.m. Of course, I had told him we were there for lunch. When the bill arrived, we understood his initial question. You could also choose the dinner buffet for lunch—it just costs significantly more. In any case, we were also charged for dinner. When we pointed out that this was wrong, because we had been asked and had specifically chosen the lunch buffet, the waiter reacted rudely and called his manager. We were told again and again that we should have noticed it earlier. The waiter couldn't explain how this was possible when it was our first time there. Instead, we were offered the option of billing for the lunch buffet, with each plate that wasn't part of the buffet being billed separately. Absolutely unacceptable!! After much protest, we only counted the lunch buffet and the drinks we ordered. Once and never again!

The taste is good and it suits the local taste. The waiters are very handsome, especially the one named Kai, who has a good attitude.

It's a nice idea to be able to order different dishes every 15 minutes using a tablet. The food arrived quickly. Overall, however, I wasn't really impressed with the quality. It seemed unloving and of rather average quality, which I didn't think was appropriate for the price. Some "special" dishes cost extra, which I don't understand. The stairs leading to the restrooms in the basement were very dirty, which didn't feel very inviting. The service was generally friendly.

Nice restaurant... all you can eat, unusual because you order via iPad... food is good 👍

It was a truly wonderful evening. The food was excellent, both in terms of taste and selection. The service was friendly and made our stay very pleasant. We'd love to come back. Thank you for a wonderful evening.
