Average. If you're not a regular, you'll obviously have trouble with the service. The food is more than average. The pizza gives the impression of being a convenience product, at least the base is. It's just another "Bella," even though the name changed a while ago.

🍝 Located in a quiet residential area north of the Olympic Park, not far from our hotel. Since the Munich Marathon was the next day, we chose this Italian restaurant for a pre-race "carb-burning" experience. With few Chinese noodle shops nearby, a pasta-focused restaurant was the perfect choice. 🍤 I ordered the seafood pasta. The tomato sauce was rich and acidic, and the seafood was generally fresh, though the flavor was somewhat masked by the sauce. The portion was generous, with a good balance of carbs and protein, making it a great pre-race fuel. 4.4/5 🏠 The restaurant is spacious, with a main hall and separate areas, perfect for small gatherings. The decor is warm and simple, creating a relaxing and comfortable atmosphere. 👨‍🍳 The waiter was very welcoming. Upon learning we were participating in the marathon, they extended a special "race success" wish, which was a heartwarming gesture.

We absolutely loved our experience at Gran Sasso! The food is truly delicious. We enjoyed it so much the first time that we couldn’t resist coming back again, and it was just as wonderful the second time around. What really makes this place special is not only the amazing food but also the exceptional service. The staff are attentive, warm, and make you feel completely at home, adding to the overall charm of the restaurant.

It was like feeling at home in Germany... we had lunch there with friends 2 days in a row because the food was really good, excellent value for money and the staff was super friendly and kind... Delicious pizza and courteous service

Disappointing! We ordered an arugula salad with Parmesan and a mixed salad with duck breast. We didn't receive any bread or anything similar. Before the food arrived, balsamic vinegar, olive oil, salt, and pepper were placed on the table. Then the food arrived. My arugula salad consisted of pure arugula with a few tomato pieces around the edge and a bit of Parmesan on top. No dressing or anything else. I ate plain arugula, which we then seasoned ourselves. My mother had similarly bad luck. The mixed salad consisted of lettuce leaves, some arugula, and tomatoes. It was also sloppily and untreatedly served on the plate. Whole pieces of the sturgeons and even inedible bits of the sturgeons' ends were included. The duck breast was well-cooked and tasty. Still, you won't get full from pure salted arugula, and the prices were outrageous. We paid €32.20 for the two salads and two drinks. When we paid the bill, the waiter asked if we enjoyed the meal, whereupon we explained our opinion. He just said it was just a salad and he couldn't help it. What a shame...

We ate there with our three children on vacation. The children got their meals a little earlier, so parents know: great! The food itself was also delicious and the prices were completely reasonable. A very enjoyable restaurant! The service is friendly and warm. Per my request I got the opportunity to practice my German, but the rest of the family was addressed in English. The kids loved the pizza salami (10 yrs old: "I give this a ten.") the spaghetti carbonara (5 yrs old: "I give this 3 stars." (Michelin that is.)) and pizza prosciutto (11 yrs old: "this is perfect."). Me and my wife enjoyed the home made pasta with filling. Prices are very reasonable and service was very fast with the restaurant at about 50 percent capacity. We had a very lovely meal and we warmly recommend this establishment.

We went to the restaurant because of the good reviews and because it was close to the hotel where we were staying. The pizzas were delicious and the service was excellent. We were served very kindly. I recommend it!

This is the best seafood pasta I've ever had! The boss and waiters are very enthusiastic and the atmosphere is also very good👍, but I don't know why it is temporarily closed now. I still miss this taste. I hope it will open again and I will come to taste it.

I was on vacation in Munich and found the Gran Sasso by chance because it was close to the hotel. And I actually go there every evening because the pizza is SOOOO good! The people are also so nice, they just make you feel good.

We are from Bologna, we were in Monaco for a tournament and here, at the Gran Sasso restaurant, we felt at home. I must say that I was a little skeptical about the food, but everything was delicious. Like in Italy. Thank you ❤️

Lovely place for a genuine Italian weekday dinner. We dropped in as a family of 5 no problem. Service was very friendly, fast, excellent food, reasonable prices and they didn't even mind our children...

A group of us had dinner here shortly before Christmas. The service was quick and attentive and very friendly. But that's about it. There was no side dish with the meat (potatoes were out). There were no fries either, apparently the deep fryer was broken. Only bread was served with the meat dish and a mixed salad beforehand. The bread was dark farmer's bread, which didn't really go with it and has no place in an Italian restaurant. The tiramisu would have benefited from some amaretto, but unfortunately it was completely missing. We were very disappointed and left hungry. Sorry guys, that was nothing, that's not how you run a restaurant! It's better to open a snack bar if you don't value hospitality.

I've been there some time ago, but the memory of the visit haunted me, so I need to leave my opinion. I came to the restaurant alone and wanted to eat inside, but Italian waiter asked me few times to get my ordered spaghetti out (I guess because I was alone). It was very unpleasant. In the end I stayed and ate at the place, I was hungry. I have never been treated worse by a waiter. I was very surprised. I hope next time the stuff will be kinder to other people who will come alone to eat in peace.

We had the Carbonara and the Funghi E Salme pizza. The carbonara was very tasty and very seasoned, 10/10. The pizza had a base made from homemade dough, which you could feel right from the first cut, a 10/10 here too. Mega friendly waiter, TOP value for money and the best tomato sauce/sugo I've had in years. Starter carpacco, spaghetti with tomato sauce and my companion homemade ravioli with deer filling. One star less because... Offer - right on a very busy street - but great inside with white tablecloths and the parmesan was unfortunately not tasty. We'll be back for that food and service👍 On the second visit I asked for a different parmesan and then I got the 5 star

Good restaurant, despite oppressive and a little too comical staff, has moments that are not very appropriate. We are told to eat quickly to get out quickly, in a humorous but unappreciative tone. One of the restaurant employees does nothing except walk around the tables and make inappropriate remarks to customers. Location still close to our hotel and the tram, unfortunately staff not up to the standard of the restaurant which overall is not so bad. I would like to say, however, that the food offered was quite good, as was the beer offered by the manager. Negative point at the end of the meal, we settle what we have to settle and the restaurant manager oppresses us to get a 10% tip, a rather surprising scene considering the service offered.

3 of us came on a Sunday evening to eat. The restaurant was almost empty but the waiter was rushing us to order and was falsely friendly (it seemed more like an aggressive tone over a joking tone). Once the orders were taken the jokes continued in a tone which contributed to a general feeling of unease. The food was pretty good and arrived quickly though. Once dinner is finished we ask for the bill because we are in a hurry to escape this very stressful and uncomfortable atmosphere. We want to pay in cash, the waiter arrives and we give him the requested account. At that moment, seeing that there was no tip (for the reasons explained above), the waiter started repeating over and over to add one, which we refused. He then begins to almost look through our wallets himself to get money from us. Really distressing moment for my friends and I who hasten to leave the place to the chant of the waiter who says ciao ciao in a sarcastic tone to which we reply goodbye. Bad experience that I do not recommend to passing tourists!

We recently happened to strut past this great restaurant. We were afraid that we would starve, so we stopped. The portions are very generous, enough to feed even a full-grown elephant.

Wir waren während unseres Aufenthaltes mit 2 Erwachsenen und 3 Kinder jeden Abend dort essen, der Service war Perfekt und auch unsere Kinder hatten ihren Spaß, das Essen war super unsere Kids sind sehr wählerisch doch hier hat alles gepasst insbesondere die selbstgemachten Nudeln, und für uns Erwachsene war der Grillteller das Beste.

I recently went to this restaurant with my family and unfortunately I only had bad feelings about this restaurant visit. First of all, the staff is very rude and harassed me and my family every 3 minutes saying that we HAD to order something when we just wanted to order everything for everyone at once so we could eat together. Then the waiter, when taking a food order, tried to remember all seven dishes, which he couldn't do, and finally came back after three minutes with a waiter's pad and started taking our order again. I also ordered tea and asked for “sweetener”. Then my brother noticed that this “sweetener” had already expired 2 years ago, which is why the tea had to be replaced. Then the waiter brought the food for everyone except me because he forgot to pass my food even though I told him when he took the order if he had written everything down. He was really rude to me. So I ate separately from everyone else, which left a very bad impression. The food was relatively good, but I was really disappointed by the service.

Good home-style Italian cuisine, delicious dishes.

The little Italian... Our company celebrations take place here. The service is top and pre-orders are processed to your complete satisfaction. Even changes to orders are no problem. The prices are reasonable and the quantity of food is sufficient. The lunch menu is also impressive: call, order, pick up and enjoy! What I would like to see is a little decoration on the table for different occasions. There are no parking spaces - but: Tram is in front of the door! And when the temperatures are right, you can enjoy food and drinks outside.
