Food-wise it was really good. The service was very accommodating. I really liked the ambience, you don't notice at all that there is a large parking lot right next to it.

Definitely a good location. The tables outside are quite narrow but it's nice to sit there. We had the burger and the weird cheese sausage. The burger patty was made of very coarse mince or just a lot of cartilage parts, it was definitely not tasty because the great beef was of no use. The coleslaw was definitely not homemade and was still on the burger, so you couldn't taste anything else. Absolutely overpriced for that price. Fries were ok. The strange cheese sausage just didn't taste good, the rest was ok, but not good enough and too little for the price. You can sit there for a drink, but I can't recommend it for eating.

It was the first time for dinner with the family. Very good first impression. There's something for every taste. Portions are really sufficient and super tasty. I especially couldn't find any words for the Kaiserschmarrn. I've never eaten such delicious Schmarrn before. Very happy and definitely again. A little tip: it's better to make a reservation, it's very busy. 👍

Also wonderful for vegans 🙏 It was a lovely evening with an all-round carefree package. Good home-style food, great service down to the smallest detail. You feel a little like you're in Austria or Bavaria, great, keep it up...we'll be happy to come back

Wow! The menu has something completely different for everyone. What can I say when everything is perfect? The waiters were super friendly, the food arrived extremely quickly and was super tasty. Prices are okay for what you get. I will definitely visit it more often now

Friends of ours invited us to this restaurant for our birthday. We were here on a Friday evening when the weather was nice. It was packed outside and everyone was sitting pretty close together. We were allocated a table inside and the acoustics were reasonably acceptable. There was a lot of activity and crowds the entire time. Nevertheless, the service staff were really nice and friendly. As far as the food was concerned, there was really nothing to complain about. It was all very tasty. The tarte flambée with goat cheese, nuts and honey that I ate was amazing. I can really recommend it. Our friends and my wife were also totally thrilled with their dishes (salmon or game goulash with spinach dumplings). Important note...no table reservations will be accepted for Saturdays. So you have to be lucky to get there. (That would be too sensitive for me personally). So for me personally it's not a location that I would visit again because it's too busy there for me.

The restaurant is very nice and clean, and the atmosphere invites you to linger. You sit comfortably and can enjoy the pleasant surroundings. The service staff is friendly and attentive, which has an additional positive impact on the stay. Particularly noteworthy are the beer prices, which are completely reasonable and okay. The restaurant offers a good selection of Bavarian beers, as befits a Bavarian tavern. Unfortunately, there is one point of criticism that clouds my otherwise positive impression. I didn't find the price performance for the hunter mess to be appropriate. Although the fried potatoes and mushroom vegetables were freshly prepared, I was served two frozen schnitzels. For a Bavarian pub I expect the schnitzels to be fresh and homemade. With my eleven years of experience in the restaurant industry, I can judge what product was put in front of me and it was clearly not homemade. If desired, I could even name the manufacturer's brand. Despite this disappointment, the visit was overall pleasant and the restaurant impressed in other areas. If the kitchen focuses on fresh and homemade products in the future, I would like to come back.

Good original breakfast in a nice atmosphere

We always like to come here, so far mainly for the breakfast. No matter whether it's the table buffet or from the menu, everything is fresh, delicious and the homemade bread is really great. The portion sizes are also really not measured sparingly, there is no “snack” here, everything is neat on the plate. The staff is friendly, helpful and, despite many tables, always there quickly to fulfill the guests' wishes. 5 stars from me and we'll definitely come back for lunch 🤣👍🏼

There was nothing to complain about on my part. The food and the ambience were delicious, classic and traditional. The staff relaxed and very personable. The fried potatoes were spicy and very tasty. The Kaiserschmarrn portion was also great and tasty. According to the staff, the vanilla ice cream is homemade - very tasty if you're a vanilla connoisseur. The restaurant is a total recommendation for alpine lovers. See you next time!

Leuk om op het terras een glas bier te drinken, keuze uit verschillende soorten. Menukaart echte (simpele) Bayerisches gerechten. Kwaliteit eten niet echt goed. Aardappeltjes zo zwart gebakken, alles zonder liefde bereid.

The ambience was very nice. The service was super friendly, always asking if everything was OK and if we needed anything else. We had the breakfast buffet at the table. That was super tasty 😋. Large selection of sausages, cheese, dips, there was jam and muesli and butter. In the bread basket was a roll, two slices of potato bread and a croissant. We also had scrambled eggs and freshly squeezed orange juice. The only negative thing was that the dishes weren't that clean and the music was too loud for me. Otherwise everything was great, your visit is worth it👍.

After several satisfactory visits to the Grafschafter Wirtshaus in the evening and at lunchtime, I was bitterly disappointed this afternoon. Around 12:40 p.m. I ordered water and the lunch dish of redfish with fried potato salad on the terrace. I had a good 50 minutes for my lunch break. While the water was delivered quickly, I had already been waiting 25 minutes for my lunch menu when I noticed that 2 tables that were occupied after I ordered had already received their food. When I asked, the waitress in the kitchen wanted to ask and I pointed out that I was slowly running out of time. After a few minutes I was told that my food would be coming soon. I received this at around 1:15 p.m. Unfortunately, when I took my first bite I realized that the frozen redfish was not fully cooked and was still cold in the middle. I told the waitress that the food wasn't edible and that I would let it go back and only pay for the water because it was too late. This was conceded without a word of apology, regret or even an offer of compensation. It's a shame if you ruin a customer's lunch break like that! I don't understand how a kitchen can serve half-frozen fish, which I also find hygienically questionable!

My last review of the place was 5 stars. That's why I've been there probably once a month lately. But unfortunately one of the waiters behaved so badly that I probably won't go there again. He just started complaining about other guests at our table. At the end after cashing in he was upset about vegans/vegetarians. It's all just chemistry. It was so uncomfortable for me that such negative attitudes were imposed on me and my companion. We didn't answer but he didn't leave until he was done with his hate speech :')

Fries very good; Vegan burger ok; Knuckle crispy, but otherwise partly still raw, tough and overall poor!!! Freshly squeezed orange juice is great; An entrecote was ordered as medium plus, but no consideration was given and a portion of fries was only half the size of the rest; --- Second visit was okay too: my fries were very good, the fish was satisfying; Ham was tough and had an incredible amount of cabbage, as if for two people; Puree was good; Schnitzel should be large and thin and nice and crispy on the outside!

The service was good, the quality of the food can still be worked on.

This is almost a tourist restaurant, where staff are running around in Lederhosen despite the fact that they are in the deepest Niederrhein. Bavarian style food selection is on offer (with an occasional nod to local cuisine). We had a lovely large salad and the Kasespatzle (which, despite the fact that they sit under the starter part of the menu, are difficult to finish for a grown man).

Really great service. The burger that my companion had looked great and was also great in terms of price-performance ratio. I had a salad with goat cheese thaler. Unfortunately only two small ones. And lots of green salad. For the price of 17.95 euros I found it a bit low. Either a little more goat cheese or more salad would have been great. We'll definitely go there again. But I won't eat salad anymore😜

It's just great to have such a great pub nearby. You certainly can't get delicious special beers on tap from a small private brewery (GB) in a neighboring town and that's a real treat. The staff is so friendly, you feel really comfortable. It wasn't the last time we were guests. 😉👍

Great, we go here for breakfast, buffet at the table. You don't even have to go to the buffet, it comes straight to the table and everything can still be ordered. The drinks are extra but not a problem for us, quality also has to be paid for.

We were with you for breakfast on Mother's Day with 4 people. We didn't get a place in the shade from the boss, he said the three tables for four had to remain free. Although there is no reservation outside. Had to sit in the sun in the other area. After ordering, we received breakfast over an hour later. Other guests too. We're not used to that at the inn! It wasn't the fault of the waiters and waitresses. They really tried hard to please everyone. But they had to listen to the complaints... 🤷🏼‍♀️ On a holiday like Mother's Day, the employees are overworked!

We ate the vegan burger and the vegan schnitzel. Both were very tasty. The selection for vegans is sufficient and well put together :) only the extra charge for oat milk seems a bit high.

I've never written a review before, even though I haven't had any contact yet...at some point it's always the first time. Inspired by many positive reports and advertising on FB, I wanted to call beforehand. inquire whether a reservation is necessary or advisable. Hmm, despite multiple attempts, no one answered the phone! Yes, within opening hours! I am aware that often someone is not able to answer the phone immediately after the first ring. But after calling 6 or 7 times, letting it ring about 15 times each time and no one answers... then it doesn't. A pity.

I've been there several times on various occasions. Food is good and most of the waiters are nice too. However, I was very disappointed with the breakfast. The table buffet was basically great... But with 2 people, only putting 1 roll in the basket right at the beginning isn't that great (tested several times). Just like reordering... If no one comes, you can't reorder anything. So we wanted more three times but there was no contact person. And who wants to always go to the front of the counter?

The food is delicious. I would particularly like to emphasize that there are also vegetarian and vegan dishes. The toilet is wheelchair accessible. Actually, I don't really like the Bavarian atmosphere, but the good food made me overlook the lederhosen and dirndls. Always my pleasure.

But sorry, the portions are getting smaller and everything else is more expensive. My Jägerschnitzel for almost 21 euros with two small schnitzels, a colleague somehow had a chicken salad. If I remember it correctly for about 17 euros. The beer half liter 6.20. Hey guys...

Extraordinarily beautiful and rustic guesthouse in the heart of Moers. Great and friendly staff. We were there with a large group and everything went wonderfully quickly and easily. Even if it's a long journey, we'll be happy to come back. Great and highly recommended.

I went to movie park and found a treasure restaurant to eat pork knuckles. The waiters are dressed in local clothes and the atmosphere is good. One portion of pork knuckle was too much to finish!
