It was my first time there and I was very satisfied. The dinner buffet had a very extensive selection, and everything tasted great. The staff was very friendly. I will definitely come back.

We were there on March 16th, the food was lukewarm and sometimes cold! We will never eat there again!

The food was very tasty. However, the selection is relatively small compared to restaurants with a similar concept like Xiao. The service was very quick and you didn't have to wait long for the freshly fried things.

All I can say is... don't eat hot. At times it smelled unpleasant. Fish not cooked and smelled very fishy. It's not even worth one star. It's a shame to spend the money on it. Absolutely not recommended.

Hello. Were on February 14th. Invited in 2025. We were with 9 people. invited to dinner. There was nothing to complain about. Would always come back.

A very good Mongolian buffet restaurant with the opportunity to put something together yourself and then have it prepared. Polite, friendly and always trying hard - that fits well. A little can still be done with the selection, variety and sorting. There's also a bit of a problem with the hygienic measures, especially at the buffet and the "mountains of plates" - especially when (small) children are there.

The food there is delicious and I can definitely recommend it.

This restaurant is simply an imposition. I put seafood on my plate and had it prepared and something was definitely spoiled, the smell was just sickening. The restaurant was full of smoke, it smelled of old grease and burnt food. There is a draft in every corner and it is also cold and uncomfortable. Conclusion is, never again!!!!

Delicious food for a good price

So the lunch buffet was very disappointing, not much choice, the rest was fine.

The two of us had lunch there, it was a disaster. Very clear buffet. Almost all containers were empty, which was a disgrace for the money. Also, the food wasn't warm. We had our food fried. Suddenly I had a scrimp on my plate, which disgusted me. My partner had one of those chicken skewers, he had to spit it out as it was badly spoiled. It really smelled like decay. Since we didn't want to eat any of that anymore, we moved on to dessert. The ice had melted, I think the chest was broken. The jelly was not edible, you couldn't break it up with a spoon, the lump was so old. We also really froze, it was so cold inside. For me the gourmet temple is done. I had a stomach ache and nausea after eating. Although we weren't even full as everything was given back. I'll never come back. People really don't do this to you. Better drive to Dülmen or Lüdinghausen.

On arrival, half of the bins were still empty. Very limited offering/choice. Poor quality of the food (tough steak, dry salmon and all the chicken products from the buffet were fried (too long) and not black but very dry. The chef just couldn't make something tasty out of it. Fortunately, your food is served, because the tiled floor is so slippery from wok cooking that it is almost impossible to prevent a slip. I had a tasty meal there in the past, but they will never see me here again!

We had dinner there with four people on New Year's Eve. The food actually tasted like nothing or old fat. Shortly after eating, two out of four people experienced stomach pain. During the course of the evening, 3 out of 4 people had to vomit. Not recommended and I really wonder how the reviews can be so good…

Yesterday we had dinner with 4 people. All healthy and 23-24 years old.. About an hour after eating we complained of stomach pain and severe nausea, then vomited... that was the last visit from us. New Year's Eve was ruined...!

0815 Mongolian grill. Nothing special

My husband and I were there today at around 2 p.m. and wanted to eat something. Unfortunately the food at the buffet was cold and dry. There was nothing in the bowls. Where we complained about the food and said that it seemed like the food was from the previous day, this was also confirmed. We paid for the drinks and left.

Been there for the second time. When you came in you were greeted by a lot of smoke and the smell of cooking throughout the restaurant. The ventilation in the open kitchen needed to be improved. Our clothes could go straight into the laundry after our visit. The buffet selection is quite ok but very carelessly prepared. The salad buffet was very roughly prepared and partly very dry. Dressing/sauces are only available in ready-made bottles from Aldi. In freshly prepared dishes, the vegetables are only briefly shocked with heat. Paid the tuition fee for the second time. Not a third time.

Super tasty and cheap. One woman is very nice, could be the boss. Like to go there. For about 7 years now, when we go out to eat, we've preferred to go here 😋👍

With 10 people we enjoyed the rich buffet, thank you very much! It was rich, varied, freshly prepared as desired, very tasty and recommended. The service was lightning fast and friendly. We'd love to come back!

An exotic Asian restaurant. I'm glad there's something like this in Gescher! Was there for lunch, prices are cheaper then. Got everything I wanted. The taste is something special. Nice change, gladly again!!

We were there last week, unfortunately it was disappointing... little choice at the buffet. There were big flies on the fresh meat counter (just disgusting). Dessert not recommended either... Won't be going back.

Good food, good service, very good price for the selection.

Unfortunately, the warm buffet was always empty and there were only a few guests there, so we always ate the same thing to fill ourselves up. We thought they would have filled up on the second round but that was nothing. Then the breaded shrimp unfortunately had no taste, as did other foods that lacked salt and spice.

Great, tasty and inexpensive. Suggestion for improvement: a 230V socket (e-bike charging station) outside. Guests WiFi.

Unfortunately, many things have no taste. Chicken in batter not seasoned. Sauces taste artificial. Cappuccino was a disgrace. Brown overpriced water.

Kaum Auswahl für 22 € Buffet Preis da kann keiner von satt werden. Reis stand bestimmt schon den ganzen Tag. Da war richtig hart. Es war gar kein Koch da um die rohen Sachen frisch zu zubereiten. Wir haben lediglich was getrunken und sind dann weggegangen. Unverschämte Getränkepreise kommen auch noch dazu.

Outrageous buffet price for the little food that is offered to you. The buffet was really sparse. There was hardly any choice the food looked long and stale the rice was like cement hard and mushy at the same time . No one could prepare the fresh ingredients. All in all, I would say if I had eaten everything that was on display I wouldn't have been full and a price of €21.90 wouldn't have been fair either. We left and just drank something that was completely overpriced

Price and quality are very good. The selection of dishes is impressive. Ambience a bit sparse and reminds one of a canteen. Could be more comfortable. But definitely a recommendation!

Horrible. Was there on May 26, 2024. The red fish is spoiled, it already smells rotten. The battered meat is spoiled, the fruit has already begun to rot, and the cocktail has not been topped with alcohol. After eating them I felt sick... I HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND

Unfortunately, this is no longer a gourmet temple. A buffet restaurant where the food rots in the display and the service consists of listless student assistants. Even the boss is unfriendly and uninterested! Save your money!!

The food was cold (was there for dinner) and didn't taste good, the meat from the grill was raw, cold and inedible, the corn was sour, the tomatoes were old, dry and the cheese on it was simply disgusting. The service is getting worse and worse. My plate was taken away even though I was eating. I'm sick because of the bad food. I'll never eat there again. The one in Ahaus is much, much, much better

Very nice, nice staff and perfect for celebrating a birthday

Very good buffet. Great selection for veggies too. Everything was very fresh and tasty. The prepared dishes are very good, and you can also choose your own meat, vegetables and sauces and have them freshly prepared. The highlight, however, is the bedside buffet including chocolate fountain, tiramisu, apple pie, baked bananas and much more. Very fast and attentive service. We recommend!

We were in Holland and actually wanted to go to an “all you can eat” place. The prices in Holland were simply too expensive for us there. (30 euros/person upwards) The gourmet temple in Gescher had the best price on the return journey according to Google and we were super surprised at how delicious it was. The buffet is manageable, everything seems handmade and super fresh, the fries are even homemade... the service is quick and perfect, we were impressed and will come back. Sometimes it's not always the quantity that matters.

If you like Asian food you are in good hands here, the selection of delicious dishes is very good, it is also freshly fried if you want it, it is very nice here, not so loud, you can have a good conversation and if you are planning a birthday or You can really celebrate a party here, you can do it in a room that you have booked specifically for yourself, the staff is very friendly and very attentive, I can highly recommend it

Das Essen finde ich gut. Das Personal....naja ... man wird bereits beim betreten der Lokalität nach den Getränke-Wunsch gefragt.

Sehr reichhaltiges und übersichtlich präsentiertes Buffet... servierfertig vorbereitet...oder frisch ausgewählt und a la minute. köstlich zubereitet. Suppe ,Vorspeise , Salat , Fisch und Meeresfrüchte Suschi...verschiedene Fleisch. - und Gemüsesortensorten und dann noch das Dessert Buffet.... mit Schokobrunnen, Eis und und und .... Da bleibt kein Wunsch offen . Sehr gutes Preis/ Leistungsverhältnis bei. seeehr. zuvorkommend freundlichem Service ....Über das eigentliche Essen hinaus... .....es werden auch schon mal vermisste Schlüssel. 🔑 zu später Stunde seeehr gründlich gesucht ... Wir kommen hier schon seit Jahren essen und es ist immer sehr, sehr gut. Das Essen schmeckt, es ist alles total sauber und das Personal ist immer höflich und nett. Preis-Leistung-Verhältnis und die Qualität der Speisen ist top! Wir waren diese Woche zur Betriebsweihnachtsfeier da und waren wieder super zufrieden. Macht weiter so!

Essen vom Buffett leider fast alles kalt. Das zahlen mit Karte war auch nicht möglich. Alles in allem nicht gut…

Leider enttäuscht😟 Essen war kalt und Gemüse sehr hart. Essen wurde nicht nach gefüllt. Nach weiteren Getränken wird nicht gefragt. Personal wirkt unfreundlich. Schade.

Der Preis ist ok. Aber der Geschmack ist zu verbessern. Mein gegrilltes war leider angebrannt.

Gesamtes Restaurant war kalt (hatte die Jacke beim Essen an) und das gesamte Buffet war lauwarm. Ein absolutes no go!!! Wir waren jetzt das 2te Mal da, nachdem das erste Mal ein absoluter Reinfall war muss ich nun wirklich sagen: Nicht zu empfehlen!!!

Sind eigentlich immer gerne zum essen gekommen, aber die Freundlichkeit der Mitarbeiter bleibt wirklich auf der Strecke! Die Speisen waren teilweise fast kalt und die Cola ( Pepsi) hatte keine Kohlensäure mehr!

Seit Jahren unser Stammrestaurant und wurden noch nie enttäuscht. Das gesamte Personal ist immer flink dabei und die Chefin hat immer mal kurz Zeit um "Hallo" zu sagen . Das Essen vom Buffet ist immer ein Erlebnis. Wir kommen immer wieder !!!!!

Sehr guter und günstiger Mittagstisch mit kleinen ausreichendem Buffet. Sehr zu empfehlen Das Restaurant befindet sich in einem alten Landgasthaus an der Straße mit ausreichend Parkmöglichkeiten.

Wir kommen immer wieder gerne zum Essen. Viel Auswahl und alles sehr lecker, Personal ist sehr freundlich und schnell. Wir genießen es sehr dort zu essen. Es ist für jeden etwas dabei, immer gerne wieder.

Mittagsmenu. Es war relativ ruhig, Empfang sehr nett. Das Buffet Essen war gut, passend zum Anzahl der Gäste. Preis-Leistung ist wirklich gut. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder.

Ich war mit meiner besten Freundin gerade dort und uns hat es gut gefallen . Das Essen war lecker . Nur das Gemüse , was gebraten wurde, was bissfest. Aber nicht schlimm . Alles super . Wir kommen wieder ..

Im Gegensatz zu anderen Kommentaren hier fand ich das Personal überaus freundlich und aufmerksam. Das Ambiente ist vielleicht etwas kühl, dafür aber sehr sauber. Das Essen war wie erwartet. Die Art des Essens muß man mögen oder eben nicht. Uns hat alles gut geschmeckt und insbesondere die Kinder haben gefuttert als gäbe es kein morgen.

Wir sind immer wieder gerne hier. Das Essen ist sehr gut und man fühlt sich immer willkommen!

Es war mal besser. Der Service beschränkt sich auf das wesentliche. Lustlos wird abgeräumt und nicht einmal gefragt ob es noch was zu trinken sein darf. Das Essen lau lau warm, wenn nicht schon kalt. Die Alternative ist halt Dülmen 😉. Die sind mit Schwung… mit der Zeit… und mehr Auswahl

Klassische asiatische Küche, auf Buffet Basis. Bufettkosten ohne Getränke, die kommen extra. Soweit akzeptabel, auch frisch bei den noch zu garenden Zutaten. Denoch war es vor "Corona", ein bissel besser. Mein Eindruck.

Wir essen dort sehr gerne. Das Angebot ist super, Fisch, Fleisch, Gemüse, Obst immer frisch zubereitet. Ob Suppe, Sushi, fertige Gerichte alles sauber und lecker

Mittagszeit. Alle sehr nett und freundlich. Zu dieser Zeit sehr angenehm und schnelle Bedienung.

Das Essen und die Auswahl war wie immer sehr gut. Wir waren an einem Freitag Abend da, um 19.30. Erst war das Lokal noch gut besucht, aber dann wurde es zunehmend leerer. Was uns dann sehr gestört hat war das dann mit dem putzen begonnen wurde. Die Glasabdeckungen über den offenen zubereiteten und rohen nicht abgedecken Lebensmitteln wurden geputzt. Das geht gar nicht und hat zur Abwertung geführt.

als nachbarn sind wir früher oft und regelmässig hier essen gegangen. leider wird das bufett immer weiter verkleinert und duch billige süssigkeiten ersetzt.alleine in den letzten wochen wurden 16 fleisch und fischgerichte ersatzlos gestrichen und duch smarties und co ersetzt.die kurve geht kontinuierlich nach unten. in den letzten 1,5 jahen ist das bufett um 50 % geschrumpft bei gleichbleibenden preis. leider werden wir uns einen neuen anbieter suchen müssen,wo das preis/leistungsverhältniss noch stimmt,was wir auch von bekannten genau so gehört haben. sehr,sehr schade

Es gibt hier viel zu essen, es geht schnell und sieht sauber aus. Toiletten sind eine Zumutung und bei der Frische war ich mir nicht immer sicher. Wir sind aber nicht krank geworden also ganz ok. Achtjährige ist sehr laut da.

Wir gehen dort regelmäßig hin, und sind eigentlich noch nie enttäuscht worden. Auch unsere älteren Kinder finden es toll dort. Wir empfehlen diesen Mongolen gerne immer weiter.
