The selection of food was very good, something for everyone. The selection of drinks included in the price is also varied and the drinks are well chilled. Unfortunately the cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired. Unfortunately, the plates, glasses and cutlery were not always clean, so you had to get new ones. I'd rather not mention the sanitary facilities here because it was rotten and dirty, and probably much worse for the women. The staff was very quick but unfortunately without any smile or word. Afterwards you can decide whether you want to get food that has already been prepared or choose meat or fish to have fried. Everything is included in the price, including alcoholic drinks (wine, various types of beer) as well as juices, soft drinks, iced teas and many well-known brands. Hot drinks are included. Chocolate fountain with fresh fruits. Different types of sushi. You can go as a group or alone. There is no time pressure like in other locations. Lots of free parking spaces available right in front of the door. Accessibility available. Everything nice and clean.

On July 31, 2024 I visited a restaurant and was extremely dissatisfied. It is very hot in the hall, there is no air conditioning and no fans. Green flies crawl on the food. The attitude of the staff and management towards guests has changed. Cookies that used to be free now cost 50 cents.

The food was not good at all as nothing was served fresh. The meat was hard, cold and dried, as were the mussels. Likewise, the dessert (chocolate fountain) was not chocolate, but a fatty glaze. The ambience is nice, but it is very hot in there. €30 is just not worth it for what you get.

I go there at least 5 or 6 times every year, it's not cheap but I've always had good experiences.

A beautiful restaurant with an incredible selection. The only thing I noticed is that the food sometimes isn't as good as the previous visit, but in and of itself it tastes very good. The Suhsi is freshly made and also tastes delicious. There are many different types of exotic meat to try (they are freshly grilled). The atmosphere is also very nice and the staff is always friendly. All in all a good restaurant with lots of delicious dishes and desserts.

For 30€ all you can eat & drink is not cheap. The food is varied but rather below average with only a few exceptions. All hot dishes are no more than lukewarm. Many service staff who unfortunately don't understand German and are therefore of little help when you have questions about the options at the buffet. The employee at the grill doesn't respond to your requests regarding the cooking point. Everything is fried to death and then listlessly put on the plate and brought to the table by a service person. The selection of meat types for roasting is large and also includes alligator/crocodile. Anyone who doesn't have any special quality requirements and is more into quantity will be satisfied here. There are various starters, main courses and desserts that can be taken individually directly from the buffet. However, if the plates are not eaten empty, the guest will be charged an additional fee. It is therefore better to always take a very small amount of the dishes first so that it doesn't get too expensive if something doesn't taste good. Connoisseurs should avoid the sushi on offer, which can be found in large quantities at the buffet for quite a long time, in order not to be too disappointed. The appearance alone reveals the above-average service life. By the way, the visit is limited in time. The drinks offered are also limited in quantity. As long-time guests of the Gourmet Temple, we as a family tried the one in Forchheim and were very disappointed. I deeply regret having to rate my experience with one star. The staff were rude and uncooperative, asking us to leave the table four times during the meal to make room for a larger group. The request to be allowed to finish the court in peace was also not heard and we were disturbed several times in a short space of time. These interruptions significantly impacted our dining experience. Additionally, the restaurant manager/supervisor was unwilling to discuss this inconvenience with us, which only added to the disappointment. We were asked by the waitress to write a review because she didn't want to speak to us further. Given this experience, I cannot recommend Gourmet Tempel.

Als langjähriger Gast des Gourmet Tempels haben wir als Familie nun auch den in Forchheim versucht und wurden sehr enttäuscht. Ich bedauere zutiefst, meine Erfahrung mit einem Stern bewerten zu müssen. Das Personal zeigte sich unfreundlich und unkooperativ, indem sie uns während des Essens vier Mal aufforderten, den Tisch zu verlassen, um Platz für eine größere Gruppe zu schaffen. Auch die Bitte, das Gericht in Ruhe beenden zu dürfen, wurde nicht erhört und wir wurden in kurzer Zeit mehrmals gestört. Diese Unterbrechungen beeinträchtigten unser kulinarisches Erlebnis erheblich. Zudem war der Restaurantchef / Vorgesetzter nicht bereit, mit uns über diese Unannehmlichkeiten zu sprechen, was die Enttäuschung nur verstärkte. Wir wurden von der Bedienung gebeten entsprechend eine Bewertung zu schreiben, da sie nicht weiter mit uns sprechen wollte. In Anbetracht dieser Erfahrung kann ich den Gourmet Tempel nicht weiterempfehlen.

What is consistently negative: - The noise in the restaurant is really enormous and often makes eating out unbearable - If you're smart, go at 5:30 p.m. during the week if possible; on weekends it's purely mass processing with long lines - two broken urinals in the men's toilet since January '24 (now it's mid-March and you get the feeling that there's no interest in fixing this) - At the dessert buffet there is only one (!) ice cream ball maker for around 8 different types of ice cream. Every flavor of ice cream is constantly contaminated with a different flavor. Even the cup that goes into the ice cream ball maker is just a disgusting mess. Something urgently needs to change! The ice chest itself is also very rickety and old. A small investment with a new idea for portioning ice cream would really be worthwhile in order to offer appetizing ice cream again - Often dirty plates at the buffet, you have to be careful to get a clean plate - Many small bowls are chipped at the edges - Staff could be more friendly and sensitive when clearing up - The baked duck at the buffet is always sold out because people like to eat it. It's not bad, but it could definitely be topped up more regularly - When you bring your "raw" plate to the grill and the food is later served to the table, it often has one or two ingredients from another guest on it because it is partially mixed on the grill. Unfreundlich, absolut überfüllt und schreckliches Essen. Völlige Katastrophe. Am Eingang wurde man super unfreundlich empfangen und musste gleich zahlen, dann wurde uns die Tischnummer gesagt...äääh joah, dann such mal. Es war üble Luft, viel zu warm, so überfüllt, dass man locker 10 min anstehen musste, um überhaupt mal ans Buffet zu kommen und das Essen war echt nicht lecker. Das Sushi war nicht frisch und nur mit surimi gefüllt oder unkenntlichen Dingen, die nicht mal mit Wasabi oder/Soja Sauce geschmeckt haben. Fische sahen, die man sich zusammen stellen und braten lassen konnte, gab es zwar, nur leider haben wir dann auf unsere Teller über 30 min warten müssen. Wer also Menschen Ansammlungen, schlechtes essen, einen enormen Geräuschpegel und Unfreundlickeit in Kombination und das alles in einer Art Dampfsauna sucht ist hier genau richtig. Für meine Freunde und mich war es sicherlich das Erste und Letzte Mal!
