Super friendly waiter, the food was good!

From Gosch, you'd expect more than just overly salty fries and tasteless fish. It compares very poorly to other restaurants.

The fries were way oversalted—bordering on the edge of being inedible; the potatoes were only a little salty. The redfish only tasted a little bit good thanks to the lemon and remoulade. The food was just kind of okay. I won't be going back to Gosch again.

Super friendly staff, Lassad, Harald, and Lukaz, and all the colleagues simply make the holiday even better! Sensational ambiance, great staff, and delicious food...thank you so much.

This was our third visit to Knurrhahn. It was very stormy today. We decided to sit in the covered area. We were able to choose our own seating. The drinks were ordered and served very quickly. We didn't have to wait long for the starters and main courses either. Our table was looked after by Irena from the Gosch team. When you have such great staff, you're very lucky. The food and her service were fantastic. A visit to Knurrhahn is highly recommended.

The salmon pasta with green pesto and grilled salmon was delicious. The food and drinks arrived really quickly, within 10 minutes. Excellent value for money. While it's often crowded and a bit hectic, it's absolutely bearable thanks to the lovely atmosphere. A special highlight for me: The owner of Gosch regularly visits List and visits his restaurants. It's always an experience. The Gosch branches in Germany are nowhere near as good as the original in List in terms of quality.

Excellent (fish) grill with various fillets and great garnish. Spacious outdoor area. Some seating is beach chair-like. You have your own space and aren't "squashed" on anyone else. Friendly, fast service.

We "traditionally" stop in List once during our visits to the island and often dine here at Gosch. The extremely friendly service is particularly noteworthy! We've always felt warmly welcomed with children. Drinks and food arrive promptly. The quality and taste are excellent—and the price is reasonable, considering the already expensive holiday experience on Sylt. The kids' menu with fries and nuggets (choice of fish or chicken), Capri Sun, a small bag of fruit gums, and a surprise is perfect. The interior is well-maintained and clean. We'd be happy to come back! 5 ⭐️

We ordered gurnard and pan-fried fish. The fillets are very tender! For dessert, Kaiserschmarren (smothered pancakes) with vanilla ice cream and apple sauce are delicious!

I can't understand many of the reviews here! I've eaten at Gosch many times, whether in Hamburg, Sylt, or Rügen, or on my ship. I think it's good and the price is even very reasonable. But anyway, I'll keep coming back and I'm looking forward to it.

The food was excellent, as was the super friendly service. The ambiance, however, is something you have to like. It reminded me more of Oktoberfest than a fish restaurant. That's why it lost a star. But as I said: complaining at a high level...

We waited over 30 minutes for our pizza! We arrived earlier than the others, but still had to wait longer. The pizza was delicious, though.

On our second visit to List, we naturally wanted to eat delicious fish at Germany's northernmost fish stall. The service was very friendly and quick. The food was delicious! And for dessert, we had a "boneless fish soup"! Even the chef stopped by! A must-try on Sylt!

Because we enjoyed our first visit so much, we returned three times during our five-day vacation. The service from Aref & Dominik is particularly noteworthy – friendly, funny, and super attentive! Surprisingly, Jürgen Gosch is there every evening. He greets guests here and there and even clears a table himself. Our allergies were accommodated, and we were offered delicious alternatives. We'd love to come back! ☆☆☆☆☆

We've been coming here for years, know many Gosch restaurants, but we like it best here in List... The food is delicious and plentiful, and if you have a special request, they'll accommodate it... The entire staff is super friendly and always has a funny saying ready... Everything there is perfect for us, and we'll be happy to come back whenever we're there.

Das Restaurant hat verschiedene abgetrennte Bereiche, wo man sitzen kann. Wir saßen im Außenbereich. Leider gibt es nicht so viele einfache Gerichte, weswegen ich mir eine Ofenkartoffel bestellt habe. Dennoch war die Küche bei meiner Bestellung flexibel und haben mir noch Pilze und Zwiebeln dazu gemacht. Nächstes Mal würde ich es mir wahrscheinlich nur mit Pilzen bestellen. Ansonsten ist das Gosch am Pier 67 noch schöner.

Gosch Restaurant Knurrhahn is highly recommended. The menu reflects Gosch's offerings and is decent. What stands out, however, is the service: friendly and attentive without being overly so. Customer service is a priority here, whether you order a small snack or stay longer. You can really tell that the customer is the focus here, and it's not because Jürgen Gosch is still checking things out himself. The team is simply excellent at service.

It's simply fantastic at Gosch at Knurrhahn. I've tried the entire fish menu and was pleasantly surprised every time. Thanks to the manager, Julia Scheel, and the other staff.

Gosch is cult. Others don't like it at all. It's all a matter of taste. We had the gurnard fish soup and an oyster as a starter and the grill plate as the main course. All dishes were extremely tasty and attractively served. The waiters were very friendly and attentive. The prices are Gosch prices in List on Sylt. If it's too expensive for you, you can look elsewhere. We really liked it. Thumbs up 👍🏻

Nice service, food good and tasty, portion could be a little bigger. A mineral water that was ordered was forgotten and only brought after dinner after being asked twice. But not charged for it.

A real highlight – both in terms of cuisine and service. The food was excellent: fresh, perfectly prepared and of the best quality – a delight for every fish lover. There is also first-class service: the entire staff is extremely attentive and friendly. We would particularly like to highlight Edip, who makes the stay a special experience with his warm manner and professionalism. You feel completely welcome and would love to come back!

Well, anyone who knows it knows that it is loud here and that you order your food and drinks at the counter and pick them up there. The ambience is identical and interchangeable as in all Gosch branches. We were here in the afternoon off season. There was still a spot outside in the beach chairs. The employees were obviously exhausted from the season or simply didn't feel like having guests anymore. The guests were served objectively and unemotionally, like in the factory canteen. The food was delicious and completely reasonable in terms of price-performance ratio.

The service at Gosch has always been great - but over the last few years it has been getting worse and worse - today we had to experience the worst service to date here on Sylt in the “old boat hall”. A so-called “golden boy” asked us in makeshift German to leave this place before we could eat the first bite or take a sip. When asked, he became rude and then took a step back. After repeated questions and slowly rising anger on my part, the answer was that we were allowed to eat - but we would then have to leave this table immediately in order to continue consuming our wine at the bar. Since this answer wasn't enough for me, I asked for the managing director to explain this to me in understandable language. He then quickly promoted himself to managing director (😂) and became angry - I then asked him whether he had a "feathered friend!" He replied and disappeared, visibly annoyed. Shortly afterwards, a German-speaking employee from this shop appeared and asked us if everything was okay - this woman also introduced herself as the manager in an apron / end of story, we were allowed to finish eating - but did so in a very subdued mood and will not make another visit. Oh, so that there is no doubt - food and drink had of course been bought in this shop before.

We ate the fish platter for two people and it was delicious. And a suitable wine to go with it

GOSCH is omnipresent in the harbor of List. If you like fish and seafood, you will definitely find something suitable here. The processing of large quantities should not be a problem.

The sales staff at the fish counter who were present during our visit were stressed and grumpy; As a customer, we were processed as quickly as possible and almost felt like a nuisance. When we asked to pay by card, since cash is rarely on hand these days, an inappropriate comment came from the irritated sales employee, which was labeled "Toller Hecht". What was ordered was not served and requests, for example no sauce, were not addressed. Unfortunately, we cannot recommend it because we could not identify any qualified sales orientation with friendly staff.

And again in the Gosch restaurant in List on Sylt only words of praise and everything positive. This time we took a break from fish and had chicken with mushrooms and onions, Wiener schnitzel and baked potatoes. Of course the rating is again 10/10, and the waiter named Lukasz deserves a rating of 100 due to his warmth and hospitality, and we will definitely come back tomorrow.

It's the third time I've been to Gosch restaurants and I only have words of praise. I have been to Wenningstedt once and here twice and am satisfied with the food and prices, and I must highlight the satisfaction with the warm, friendly and professional staff, especially with Mr. Ali, whom I am meeting for the second time. All praise and my rating for everything is 10/10. So much from me, Allen.

Food is delicious. We once had the salmon roll, children's meatball and the children's plate to go. Nicely prepared. My child loved nuggets and fries. The prices are absolutely acceptable these days. The friendliness of the employees still needs improvement. The lady behind the counter came across as very annoyed. You immediately felt guilty about ordering something. However, the boss erased this impression a little later on the forecourt. Because he warmly greeted the old lady who had conjured up soap bubbles for the children. Thank you very much and even gave you a small donation for the soap fund. Great!

It's been a long time since we've been to Gosch in List and we were pleasantly surprised. Our waiter was extremely friendly, attentive and polite - you don't really find him like that anywhere else. The food was perfect - the fish on the grill was amazing, you can't do better with currywurst. We'll come back again.

When sitting in the main winter garden area, the atmosphere is fantastic. Live music is provided and good is served by friendly and professional waiters. We were very happy with our experience and would come back. The food itself is not gourmet but is definitely worth tasting.

We went to the square with the plan to eat at Gosch. We didn't see that in the outdoor catering area there was Gosch self-service and service at the Gurnrahn... we ended up at the Gurnrahn and ate a seafood platter for two. The plate was great and the service was exceptionally good! Very special thanks to our waiter Aref 😊 That was a lovely culinary two and a half hours ☺️

We actually just wanted to have a drink at the Gurnrahn during our day trip, but the friendly, cheerful and attentive service enticed us to take a look at the menu. And that was a good decision! The fish was great, the dishes were delicious and the portion sizes were decent, so the prices were absolutely reasonable.

It was a poem again. The waiter Tahir is very attentive, friendly and does a perfect job! He can even give qualified tips about the wines.

Gosch / das war einmal. komplett abgewirtschaftet. trotz toller rezeption von frau scheel. seezunge hat geschmeckt wie aus einer pommesbude mit schlechtem öl zubereitet. tot gebraten!!!! preis-leistung indiskutabel. lieber das doppelte bezahlen und dafür echte qualität, perfekt zubereitet speisen., enttäuschung pur!!! kenne gosch seit den 80ern. auch in westerland - schon von weitem alles verbraucht und schmuddelig. unglaublich. hätte freunden, die mir das mehrfach erzählten glauben sollen. schade was aus einem ehemaligen vorzeigebetrieb in den letzten 10 geworden ist.

Hello, nice waiter at the beginning, but that's about it on the positive side. We were able to order after 15 minutes. Then waited 20 minutes for our Alster. Ordering went and Alster only came when asked further. Ordered labskaus and a fried fish roll. Labskaus came another 20 minutes later (which is an ok time). Bread never arrived. Not even when asked. With the bill came the waiter's statement that he had to eat it now. An inappropriate comment for me. Unfortunately, there was no excuse for all of this. When I paid, I didn't plan on giving a tip, but as soon as I put the money on the table, he left immediately. Very unfortunate. Very unpleasant end to a trip to Sylt.

Although there was a sign indicating that you would be served at the table, we were allowed to get our own things. Payment was only possible in cash. There was no receipt. That left a bad aftertaste. The customer, who ordered from another employee at the same time, was able to pay by card. The tables were very unclean and the staff was grumpy. I don't want something like that.

I obviously didn't eat here. The service couldn't explain to me why. A small reference to the picture for the owners: it should have been clear to the author of this note that the store concept would not work at this point if such a concept was necessary.

Leider haben wir über eine Stunde auf unser Essen gewartet. Obwohl es nicht so voll war. Eine Vorspeise funktionierte nicht so reibungslos los. Die bestellten Sylter Royal kamen lange vor dem mitbestellten Knoblauchbrot. Sehr enttäuschend, da es vor einiger Zeit immer gut funktionierte. Nicht so empfehlenswert.

Delicious food, great children's box menus

Überraschung pur! Fantastische Küche! Seit 22 Jahren besuchen wir am ersten Tag des Urlaubs immer Gosch in List, als "Starter" des Urlaubs! Aber dieses Mal, war die Speisekarte erweitert worden, mit köstlichen Essen… wie zum Beispiel… Knusprige Ente mit Garnelen und Reis, asiatisch! Einfach ein Traum für den Gaumen! Überraschung pur! Zusätzlich zu einem adequaten und fairen Preis! Obwohl überall auf der Insel die Preise extrem gestiegen sind! Die Bedienung war extrem nett und sehr freundlich und hat sogar Sonderwünsche möglich gemacht! Aus diesem Grund waren wir an unserem letzten Abend wieder dort! Fantastisch!

It's going ok. Get your own drinks... stand in line. Get your own food... stand in line and be bullied if you want to pay by card. Maybe it was a bad day. Who knows.

Pures Chaos, draußen liegt eine Karte mit Speisen an den Tischen. Man muss nun wie bei einer Schnitzeljagd das passende Restaurant finden und hoffen, dass die Kellner anhalten. Hat man bestellt, kann man nach 10min wiederkommen und hiffen, dass es fertig ist. Das Schnitzel ist nicht zu empfehlen, da es kaum nach etwas schmeckt. 2ter Stern wegen der Matjes mit Ofenkartoffel, war okay.

Klasse essen mit tollem Service sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter die sehr aufmerksam sind Ich komme sehr gerne wieder

Wir kommen seit vielen Jahren her. Hier räumt der Chef sogar noch selbst mit ab… Respekt! Preis-Leistung passt hier und man sitzt egal ob drinnen oder draußen sehr nett.

Nachdem ich mal von Gosch gehört hatte und nur Schickimicki erwartet hatte, konnte ich heute endlich mal eigene Erfahrungen sammeln. Es gab zünftig Matjes mit Bratkartoffeln. Und ich war hin- und hergerissen. Besser geht nicht! 😀

Aref ist die beste Bedingung. Zuvorkommend, nett, hilfsbereit. Es lohnt sich hier hin zu kommen. Leckere Getränke und gutes Essen. Fragt nach Aref. Besser könnt ihr euren Urlaub nicht erleben.

Wir haben im Pier 67 gegessen und wollten im Knurrhahn noch einen Absacker nehmen. Nachdem wir an einem Tisch Platz genommen hatten, kam der Mitarbeiter Ali, fragte, ob wir essen oder trinken wollten. Bei unserer Antwort "etwas trinken" drehte er ab und ward nie wieder gesehen. Es kam auch niemand anderer, um 21 Uhr war die Besucherzahl durchaus überschaubar, daran hat es also nicht gelegen. Wir sind nach 10 Minuten Wartezeit gegangen. Schade, sehr merkwürdiges Verhalten, aber wer uns als vermeintlicher "nur Getränke"-Kunde nicht lukrativ genug findet, um uns nach unseren Wünschen zu fragen, hat offensichtlich genug verdient. Wir werden die restlichen Urlaubstage unser Geld beim Mitbewerber ausgeben.

Samstagmittag, Sonne, jede Menge los. Und dennoch eine nette flotte Bedienung, Essen und Trinken ok, nix zu meckern.

Leckere Gerichte, große Auswahl, an Krabben oder Garnelen wird nicht gespart, das meiste ist günstiger als Speisen woanders auf Sylt, toller Service, nettes freundliches Personal, Reservierung war sogar für "Strandkorbplätze" möglich, Bedienung trotz gegipster Hand, wir kamen 1 Woche lang fast täglich hierher und kommen jederzeit gerne wieder, vielen Dank

Neben der nördlichsten Fischbude Deutschlands im Restaurant zwei Gosch-Toast (Lachs Baguette mit Dressing und Salat , sehr lecker) vernascht. Lecker Weinchen dazu, perfekt. Nette und freundliche, zuvorkommende Bedienung.

Paradies für Fischliebhaber. Viele verschiedene Fischgerichte in eine der vielen Gosch Restaurants (jedes mit einer anderen Speisekarte). Gute Gosch-Weine zum fairen Preis. Nettes Service Personal, die auch Sonderwünsche erfüllen.

Kann man nur empfehlen! Mehr oder weniger die gleichen Gerichte wie in der Bootshalle oder Fischbude, nur mit Bedienung. Viele Plätze draußen in Strandkörben.

Wir kommen gerne zu Gosch in List. Immer wieder schön... das sich auch Herr Gosch selbst sehen lässt. Der Service war freundlich, hilfsbereit und schnell. Spezialwünsche beim Essen... kein Problem... und geschmacklich alles gut 😋 Festhalten muss man jedoch eines... ob Gosch auf Westerland oder Norderney, alles nicht so gut wie beim Chef in List... Schade eigentlich 😔

Der Knurrhahn von GOSCH ist seit Jahren eine der liebsten Lokalitäten von uns in List. Da wir einmal im Jahr hierherfahren aus dem Rheinland, freuen wir uns immer auf gute Qualität zum vernünftigen Preis. Die Bedienung ist extrem freundlich. Inzwischen wird man als Stammgast erkannt. Die Möglichkeiten draußen und drinnen zu sitzen sind sehr gut. Wir lieben die Hochtische im Eingangsbereich an der großen Schiffsbar. Meistens ist Jürgen Gosch Abends auch dort.

Wir können den "Knurrhahn" nur empfehlen. Freundliche Bedienungen, gute Fischgerichte, gutes Bier und gute Weine und das Ganze ist bezahlbar. Sind immer wieder beim Gosch.

Gosch ist immer wieder einen Besuch wert. Diesmal kam sogar der Chef Jürgen Gosch persönlich vorbei.

Tolles Ambiente, hervorragendes Essen und, vielleicht das Wichtigste, sehr aufmerksamer und netter Service.

Die Bootshallen Platte, lecker wie immer.

Da gibt es nichts zu meckern. Außer, dass ich mir hier ein lokales Bier oder aus der näheren Region gewünscht hätte. Personal sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Essen ausreichend und lecker. Preislich, wie oft auf Sylt, etwas gehoben - stimmte aber zur Leistung. Ambiente ansprechend und sauber. Der beste Gosch, den wir bislang auf der Insel gefunden haben.

Wir kehren jedes Jahr während unseres Syltaufenthaltes hier ein. Das Preis- Leistungsverhältnis ist sehr gut. Aufmerksamer Service und leckere Speisen und Getränke. Verschiedene Sitzmöglichkeiten geben einem immer wieder ein abwechslungsreiches Restauranterlebnis. Entweder draußen in den großen Strandkörben oder im Eingang zur Bootshalle im linken Bereich an den Hochtischen. Das ist unser Lieblingsplatz. Man trifft immer wieder nette Leute und kann den Abend entspannt zu jeder Wetterlage genießen.

Wenn man mal sich bedienen lassen will, ist man hier richtig....nettes Personal, kompetente freundliche Restaurantsleiterin....Essen wie nebenan top, schade das unser Lieblingsessen Gosch Spezial in Safransosse nicht auf der Karte ist!
