Ok for eating at the train station. But I wouldn't go there specifically for that reason.

Food was tasty so far, I thought the sushi was good, the main course was tasty but personally I was missing something. But I think the ambience is really nice :)

I had a wonderful evening in this restaurant. The sushi was incredibly tasty and freshly prepared. The sashimi was also of excellent quality and tasted simply fantastic. I would particularly like to emphasize the friendly and courteous service of the staff. They were always helpful and made our visit a special experience. I highly recommend this restaurant!

Today was my first visit to Gorenshi in Darmstadt and I am thrilled. Friendly and quick service as well as a pleasant atmosphere provided the framework for my meal. I ordered maki with spicy tuna tartar, maki with unagi and a California roll. Everything was excellent - especially the maki with unagi were very tasty and generously filled. Next week we'll try out the lunch menu, that sounds tempting too.

We are regular sushi eaters and it was just really, really good! The rolls didn't skimp on the salmon and the salmon was generally of really high quality. Good contrast, consistency also excellent. The highlight are the really excellent Gunkan with salmon tartare, tuna tartare or shrimp tartare! Chrunchyrolls also great!

The quality of the salmon is really good here. The service was very attentive and the location was very good. Parking spaces are not very close, but still very easy to reach on foot.

Very nicely decorated Japanese restaurant. The food is delicious and the sushi is always beautifully decorated. It's just a shame that the card doesn't have any pictures, which makes ordering a little more difficult. The service is nice, but quite inflexible when it comes to requests.

Great restaurant just next to Darmstadt main station, the interior of the place is amazing, the service and foods are 10 on 10. And surprisingly, hungry travellers don't need to find doner shop after getting down from the train 😁🫡🤤

The sushi tasted very good, it's a shame that the waiter wrote the order wrong and a different type of sushi arrived. However, the very beautiful and inviting surroundings are not sufficiently heated and you can feel the cold after a while. the rest everything is ok.

I highly recommend Gorenshi for its modern ambiance, delicious food, and excellent service. The diverse menu offers a delightful fusion of flavors that leave a lasting impression. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience and look forward to returning soon.

We ate there today at 1 p.m. We are sushi connoisseurs. Everything was fresh, deliciously prepared and first class standard. We had a cold Shushi plate for €45 for 2 people. + Seaweed saladx2 and crunchy rolls (4) ordered. Ginger and wasabi unlimited! Very nice and friendly staff - except for the owner, who was only willing to explain the different sushi preparations to a limited extent and only laughed at the question of an illustration. Good price - Performance ratio.Nice Japanese ambience.Ideal time around 1:30 p.m..then there's not much going on.Recommended at any time.For us, it's the best of Darmstadt.

Der Laden ist top! 10/10 mit Sternchen. Das Essen schmeckt sehr gut. Die Udon und der Sushi sind sehr gut. Der Service ist auch super. Die Location ist toll, schöner offener Raum und man hat an jedem Tisch seine Privatsphäre.

Wir waren an Neujahr nach dem Kino dort. Es war so super Lecker und dazu noch die reinste Augenweide💚 Dazu noch super liebes Personal und ein schönes Ambiente. Dazu zwischen Kino und Bahnhof noch perfekt gelegen. Gehobens Preissegment für sehr leckere Sushi, absolut lecker und empfehlenswert!

Waren mit Kolleg*innen zum Mittagstisch. Positiv überrascht. Nett, modern eingerichtet. Aufgeräumt, offene Küche. Unter anderem verschiedene Sushi, gebratener Tofu. Alles von guter Qualität, geschmacklich gut. Optisch überzeugend. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Die Portionen waren großzügig bemessen, der Fisch war frisch und es hat sehr gut geschmeckt. Vor allem wie das Gericht auf dem Teller angerichtet wurde war toll! Das Ambiente war äußerst ansprechend, und das Personal war freundlich und aufmerksam. Ich freue mich bereits darauf, wieder vorbeizuschauen!

Also ich kann die guten Bewertungen absolut garnicht nachvollziehen. Ist mir ein Rätsel was Leute unter 5 Sternen verstehen. Ein Stern ist es sicherlich nicht, aber ich versuche hiermit andere vor hohen Erwartungen zu warnen. Das Rindfleisch war Schuhsohle, das Thai Curry hatte Garkeinen Geschmack, die Bedingung hat uns erstmal links liegen gelassen und die Preise sind viel zu hoch für diese Leistung.. Es war auch sehr laut.. Soviel zum guten Ambiente.. Sehr schade

0 Sterne für den Service. Der Herr am Empfang war „sehr überrascht“, dass wir da waren - nach dem Motto „was wollt ihr denn hier“. Das Essen is gut. Deswegen wollten wir mal wieder dorthin, durften es aber nicht ohne Reservierung, da das gesamte Restaurant noch leer war mit nur einem besetzten Tisch als wir da waren. Der erste Kontakt sollte immer positiven Eindruck hinterlassen - eher nach dem Motto „oh schaden, leider haben wir keinen freien Tisch“ 0 Sterne für Attitüde des Empfangs 5 Sterne für das ersehnte gute Essen

Service is a bit slow but food was great! I absolutely loved the miso and wagame.

Mal wieder wäre hier ein Zwischenwert angebracht, nämlich 4,5 Sterne. Denn das Essen - und dies ist eben das zentrale - ist richtig phantastisch! In Service und Ambiente sind noch Steigerungspotentiale vorhanden... ;-)

Extrem lecker! Wir haben uns ein bisschen quer durch die Karte probiert. Die Gyoza waren sehr würzig mit dünnem Teig und perfekt angebraten. Dazu etwas dickere Sojasauce, die sehr lecker und etwas süßlich war. Bei der Pho gab es frische Kräuter dazu, eine nicht zu salzige, aromatische Brühe und bei den Goi cuon/Sommerrollen war ein gutes Verhältnis von Reisnudeln, Salat, Kräutern und Garnelen. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wieder hingehen um noch weitere Sachen zu probieren.

Wir waren das erste Mal in diesem tollen Sushi Restaurant und können nur Positives berichten. Wir hatten ziemlich Glück, dass wir den letzten Tisch ohne Reservierung ergattert haben. Wir haben verschiedene Varianten Sushi getestet und rotes Thai Curry, alles absolut empfehlenswert. Auch berichtenswert: der sehr freundliche Kellner brachte uns während der Wartezeit auf unser Essen zwei Eistee aufs Haus, da er der Meinung war, die Zubereitung des Essens dauere schon zu lange. Wir waren nicht annähernd an einem Punkt, an welchem wir uns über zu lange Wartezeit o. Ä. beschwert hätten und empfanden dies als tolle Geste! Vielen Dank nochmal dafür, wir kommen definitiv bald wieder!
