Good morning Vietnam - Fine Vietnamese Kitchen in Aachen

The interior was very cramped and the tables were extremely close together. It was cold, so I went in. It was so stuffy that I couldn't eat, so I ordered takeout. I ordered three lunch boxes, but each box only had 3-4 pieces of meat, so I was disappointed that there were so many vegetables. The owner seems to be sensitive to the cold, like when the door opens. The food was just so-so.

Very small restaurant with very delicious food

I had parked my car next to the restaurant to visit the center of Aix. So it was really by chance that I ate there with my family. It's small (just under 20 seats). It was full, and the manager let me know there would be a bit of a wait. Once we were seated, she gave us a note and a pen so we could write down our order. We were served quickly. It was so good that I forgot to take pictures of the food! I'll definitely go back if I return to Aix. Plus, it's halal.

The place is family-run and small, the food is very high quality, and very authentic, the waitress is very nice and helpful, the place is a bit small and crowded, but the atmosphere is really good. A very nice restaurant with a good selection of dishes. The wait wasn't too long, and what I ordered was delicious. The staff were also very friendly. I felt very comfortable. If I ever come back to Aachen, I'll definitely come here again.

The restaurant offers a wide selection of delicious dishes. The portion sizes are more than ample, and the staff is very friendly. The food was prepared quickly and was reasonably priced. All in all, a highly recommended experience.

The rice noodles are really delicious. The noodles are chewy, so if you like that texture, you'll love this, and the broth is also delicious!

If you're in Aachen, you have to eat here. Our German isn't brilliant, and we made a few choices based on luck, but this wasn't disappointing at all. The food is freshly prepared and comes out of the kitchen steaming hot (and it doesn't take long). The flavor is superb, and you'll eat to your heart's content. And when the bill arrived, we were completely shocked. A starter, main course, and drinks for two people came to 36 euros. Incredibly delicious and by far the best I've had for this price in a long time.

In a fit of anger and bitterness, I feel compelled to write down our experience from the evening of November 21, 2025 (Friday) at this restaurant at 2:00 AM. I would also like to summarize the specific instances of discrimination: First of all, this wasn't our first time at this establishment, but since it's relatively small and we, as a family with two children, often need more space, we hadn't eaten there for a while. On the evening in question, we specifically noticed that the restaurant was empty when we walked by and decided to eat there. However, since we had an errand to run, the place was already full when we arrived – only a table for four and an adjacent table for two were free. No waiter greeted us. To avoid blocking the entrance, we went directly to the table for four and sat down. After a long wait during which no one took our order, we used the menu on the table, along with a pen and paper, to write our order ourselves. When the owner later appeared, she immediately cleared tables without acknowledging us. Assuming she was overwhelmed, I handed her our order slip. To my surprise, she curtly rejected it, pointed arrogantly at our table, and ordered me to sit back down. After waiting some more, she finally came, took our order, and transferred it to a new slip of paper—ignoring my six-year-old daughter's friendly attempts to greet her. When my child leaned away, embarrassed, the owner snapped at her. My child burst into tears and buried her head in the table, sobbing. We, as parents, had warned the children from the beginning not to disturb anyone, and other guests smiled at us sympathetically. Finally, filled with shame and anger, we hastily finished our meal and left. We tried to convince ourselves that the owner's being overworked was the reason for her behavior—but she had been attentive and friendly to all the other tables. After hours of brooding, I am convinced: This was humiliation and racial discrimination.

Small, cozy, and intimate restaurant where you will receive some of the most delicious meals you can find. Fresh vegetables, bright herbs, and just enough spice to make your whole body happy. I highly recommend this restaurant.

The food is good, but the service is terrible. The woman who serves acts like she's doing you a favor. They only accept cash, and that's not mentioned anywhere. And if you happen to need the bathroom, avoid it completely—it's horribly dirty and neglected!

There were four of us here, and we had made a reservation in advance by phone. The dining area is directly adjacent to the kitchen and is relatively small. The ambiance and service are fine. You can help yourself to drinks from the refrigerator in the room. There are notes and pens on the tables for writing down the numbers of the dishes you want. We hadn't seen this before. The preparation time was very quick. The food – various versions of udon noodles, ramen, and summer rolls – were all good. It has more the charm of a snack bar with seating than a traditional restaurant.

We had a very good meal at this Vietnamese restaurant. The goi cuon were fresh and flavorful. The udon noodles with Peking duck were excellent, with juicy meat, crispy skin, and perfectly fried. The baked banana was also perfect. Friendly staff and a small, cozy restaurant. Highly recommended.

Was looking for a nice bowl of Pho on a rainy day in Aachen. This place had a catchy name, so though I'd give it a try. The side orders came out (7 and 7A) spring rolls and fried wantons came out first, very hot and fresh with a very nice, light crunch. Immediately following my Pho came out (#35). Very good portion and excellent flavor. Highly recommend if looking for and authentic Vietnamese restaurant. Perfect for groups of two or four people--more than that and you'll have to move furniture.

I was surprised how good the pho was! Best one I've had so far, even compared to pho in countries like Korea. They were very nice and played with my son, even letting us take the toys home with us after we finsihed eating. A very pleasant atmosphere. Thank you

We can understand each other even if we don't speak German: menu in English and a young waitress speaks English. Authentic Vietnamese food. The seating is a bit cramped, but the delicious food and friendly service make up for it. We had pho bo and summer rolls for starters. The rose tea is a real insider tip!

If the restaurant owners focused a little more on their ambiance and cleanliness, they could have earned 4.8 stars. The tables were sticky, and the fan was dirty and blew dust onto us. The decor was so dusty that you were afraid the fan would blow it onto the food. Service was awful; no one cared.

Amazing food - very delicious and authentic Vietnamese food. Generous portion. The owners are very lovely and sweet. We came back to this restaurant three days in a row - the owners very kindly accommodated us when we arrived 5 minutes before they are meant to shut. Crispy duck fried rice is highly recommended. We had two appetisers (7 and 11a) they were okay, springroles was better than the shrimp. For our main course, we had 39, 53 and 62a (double duck), and the food was really good. The room was small but fitted 4 parties of 3-4 people. With space to share.
