Good morning Vietnam - Fine Vietnamese Kitchen in Aachen

My boyfriend and I ate there yesterday and were extremely satisfied. The owners are very friendly, and the food was delicious, fresh, and filling. We highly recommend it. 💪🏼

We had two appetisers (7 and 11a) they were okay, springroles was better than the shrimp. For our main course, we had 39, 53 and 62a (double duck), and the food was really good. The room was small but fitted 4 parties of 3-4 people. With space to share.

Hidden gem behind a simple facade

Super delicious Vietnamese food and incredibly friendly owners. The atmosphere is like a snack bar, but the food is amazing! We go here regularly and have already tried the entire menu.

The food is fresh and delicious. The prices are also great! We've been there several times within a few days and have been very satisfied every time. It's also great that you can still get service even at a late hour :)

Highly recommend this cozy spot! We ordered Phở Gà and Phở Bò, and both were incredibly flavorful, esp the noodle is quite similar to the ones in VietNam. We also tried the Gỏi Cuốn Chay (vegetarian spring rolls), and they were fresh and delicious! The owners are friendly and welcoming!! Loved it🩵

Authentisch, frisch und beliebt – ein echter Geheimtipp! Der kleine Imbiss Good Morning Vietnam ist abends oft gut besucht – kein Wunder bei dem leckeren Essen! Wer sicher einen Platz möchte, sollte früh kommen oder am besten reservieren. Am Tisch bekommt man Zettel und Stift um die Bestellung selbst aufzuschreiben. So kann man in Ruhe die Karte durchgehen. Die Getränke holt man sich einfach selbst aus dem Kühlschrank. Die Atmosphäre ist unkompliziert und herzlich. Besonders die Pho-Suppe ist ein Highlight: Sie schmeckt wie in Vietnam. Voller Aroma, klar und frisch. Auch die anderen Gerichte sind mit viel Liebe zubereitet und schmecken unglaublich authentisch. Absolut empfehlenswert für alle, die vietnamesisches Essen lieben!

The food here is great, and the peanut curry is highly recommended! It's a small, owner-operated shop with the appropriate charm. Anyone who comes here with the highest expectations of service hasn't quite understood the concept of the shop :) The service is good – albeit brief and limited to the essentials. But: I'd happily go back again, because the food is top-notch!

First of all: Good Morning Vietnam is a small fast food restaurant (please note, as there is no restroom). The dining room is relatively small with approximately 18 seats – important – which can be fully booked in the early evening! Reservations are therefore recommended, which is quite unusual for a fast food restaurant. There is also a view into the kitchen, which is slightly larger than the entrance area. I've known this snack bar for a while; we've often picked up food here to eat in. However, I was very surprised when I was invited to a dinner meeting here because a friend found this snack bar ranked #1 on TripAdvisor! It can get very busy in the early evening, so it's somewhat unusual for a snack bar that I strongly recommend making a reservation. On our evening, everything was booked up! I especially recommend the summer and spring rolls and anything wrapped in (transparent) rice paper. Our food was also very tasty, and the duck was very tender! Delicious vegetarian dishes are also available. Parking in the area is rather limited. Very good value for money

Very friendly and attentive staff. The food was fantastic, and considering the very low prices, including the delicious teas, 5 stars is almost too low. It's a very small restaurant, which somewhat dampens the ambiance, but it's still highly recommended!

The full Vietnamese atmosphere including the taste of the real Vietnamese dishes. You have to have been here.

Wij hebben in één week 2 keer bij GMV gegeten. Twee keer verschillend voor- en hoofdgerecht en allebei de keren volop genoten van de verschillende gerechten. Voor het geld hoef je het niet te laten, prijs/kwaliteit is 100%!

Small buffet, maybe 7 tables. Vietnamese staff, authentic cuisine. A variety of dishes, often they also do takeaway. We ate some surprising dishes, but try them: spring rolls, not Chinese style /rolls are a bit different, fried/, summer rolls /as if shrimp, chicken, vegetables, glass noodles were stuffed into a snake skin - strange looking, but delicious, the "skin" could also be some kind of rice noodles/. The mango salad was a big surprise: mango cut into strips, vegetables, chicken, fresh coriander and mint, with some kind of their own thin sauce. This was the most delicious, - I don't even understand why we don't eat mango like that - although we ate ramen soup with incredibly crispy fried duck breast strips and chard, thick spaghetti-like pasta. We also had glass noodle salad with shrimp. 2 bottles of 0.33 Bitburger beer 41 euros. Great value for money. The staff is quick enough to serve both the place and the takeaway. We have been here several times because their main courses are also great served on a giant boat plate.:) We will always come when we are in Aachen. Don't be scared by the size of the place, sit next to someone.:)

The food here is outstanding, and the prices are very reasonable. I have visited a couple of times, and for me, this is some of the best Vietnamese cuisine I have ever had. It appears to be a family-run business, and the care they put into their dishes really shows. Everything I have tried has been delicious. Recommended it 10/10 to family, friends and everyone. P.S. It is best to pay with cash, though they also accept PayPal for those who prefer digital payments.

Outstanding Vietnamese food and brilliant prices. A bit out of town in a rather sketchy area but don’t be put off. It’s way better than many of the restaurants in the city centre and way cheaper. Lovely family run business and very popular with the locals.

Noch 30min vor dem zusperren wurde ich ohne wenn und aber bedient. Das kleine aber feine Restaurant hat eine große Karte mit ausgezeichneten Speisen. Das Personal ist super freundlich.

I had an excellent experience at this Asian restaurant! The waiters were incredibly attentive and always willing to help. I even called ahead to place my order before arriving, and everything was ready on time, served hot, and tasted absolutely delicious. Highly recommend if you want great food and outstanding service!

Safe yourself a booking of a flight to Vietnam. Just eat here & enjoy! Do not forget to take the iced coffee afterwards - it is incredible - just like in Hanoi. Close your eyes and you are there. Open them => your eyes say "it's Aachen", your tongue says "I am back in Vietnam"!

My son only eats Vietnamese food, so it was hard to find something to eat during our few days in Aachen. He hardly ate, because he didn’t like most of the food. Luckily we discovered this restaurant. They serve delicious pho and tofu dishes, which is exactly what my son loves. The portions are generous and the price is very reasonable. The restaurant is run by a very nice and friendly couple. We felt very welcome. I can highly recommend this restaurant!

Gebratene Reise mit Ente - Absolutely authentic fried rice - you have to try! big portion, perfect taste. Get busy on weekend / dinner time. Nice to have at the restaurant but I prefer take away though, to enjoy the food on the couch whilst watching TV :)

We went for dinner together. As soon as we came in, we felt the family atmosphere. We didn't have to wait long for the food, it was very tasty. I recommend visiting this restaurant, you won't go away hungry. The portions are large.

We had a wonderful meal there yesterday. It was our first visit and we will definitely be back. The food was hot, very tasty and with prompt service. There does not appear to be a bathroom available but we did not need one.

There were very tasty summer rolls with a fantastic sauce, as well as a delicious vegetarian pho soup. Unfortunately, it wasn't advertised that the orange tea contains caffeine, so you should be careful about that. The service was nice and there was a calm atmosphere.

I had work in Aachen and was looking for something to eat for lunch. It's small, but very comfortable. Very friendly hosts and a very great meal. I'm already looking forward to my next appointment in Aachen. Many thanks to the hosts...

Про этот маленький ресторанчик я прочел в интернете. Он недалеко от термальних ван, не большой - всего 7 маленьких столиков. Нам повезло, было свободно. Мы заказали жаренные нудли с уткой, жаренные нудли удо с уткой , рамен с уткой, и жаренных креветок. Принесли просто огромные порции! Всё безумно вкусно! Утка в рамене сочная, в нудлях сочная и с хрустящей корочкой, всё как положенно. Каждое блюдо готовят для тебя индивидуально, прямо на глазах, при этом всё очень быстро. С напитками: пиво, кола и кофе всё вместе на 3 человека вышло 48 евро, вполне демократично за такое количество вкусной еды и напитки:) Всем советую.

Actually surprised to find really good Vietnamese food in aachen. Shrimp soup and udon duck were delicious, the place is good, the prices are fair and the staff is really nice! Even though we didn't speak German and their English is so so, we were able to understand! If I'm ever in aachen I'll definitely come again!

With Christmas we where twice. What a excellent. The soup with coco was outstanding. Lovery service!! Come back next year
