Great tasting food, recommend highly

Delicious, modern Thai in the train station district. I had the classic PadThai with shrimp, tofu and chicken and the portion was large and tasty. Plus a Thai iced tea. Would go again. The service was also friendly and quick.

I visited this place while on a business trip to Frankfurt. There was a wait time of about 20 minutes and I had to wait by the door during that time. I had the vegetarian pad Thai and it was nice. There were other vegetarian options too.

Authentic Thai restaurant, near the train station. The service was very friendly and the food was very tasty. The homemade spring rolls and the Thai tea were a little highlight. “Specials” are offered on Mondays and Fridays, so you can eat Pad Thai very cheaply, for example. We particularly liked the good selection of vegetarian and vegan dishes. We'd love to come back!

The food was pretty tasteless and only had a handful of pieces of tofu. The service staff was anything but polite, friendly and in a good mood. After paying, he neither thanked us for the visit nor said goodbye to us. Overall, unfortunately everything was very loveless.

Looks nice, but you aren't welcome to order just drinks - you have to order food. This was disappointing.

We were very early at Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof, so we decided to walk around a bit in the area to look for a place to eat. I'm glad we did, because our experience at the Wannawai was excellent. We had the Green Curry with chicken and the Massaman-Curry without added meat option, as my wife isn't much of a meat eater. The Green Curry was slightly spicier than in other places where I had eaten it before, which was a very nice surprise. It says so in the menu, too, but I had missed that when I ordered. I enjoyed it a lot! And my wife liked her Massaman-Curry as well. That one wasn't spicy, so our 14-months old boy could eat a bit of it, too. We enjoyed the great food, as well as the welcoming atmosphere, and the staff was very friendly. If you're looking for a place to eat in the area of Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof, I highly recommend the Wannawai.

I was on a business trip in Frankfurt and happened to pass this restaurant on the street. The food was absolutely great, classic Pad Thai 😊 But the waiter forgot my order so I had to wait about 25 mins, which was a shame! But I think I will come back to try another food on the menu :) The music inside also a bit too loud

Great food, big portions, friendly staff

Very nice restaurant to sit comfortably outside. Food is great, waiters very friendly. The only thing that bothers you there are all the junkies there, but the operator can't do anything about that and it's just Frankfurt

I had two starters as my main meal 'Satay Gai' and 'Gyoza', both of excellent quality and a highly recommended lunch. Would.

Authentic Thai food, if you want it to be really spicy you just have to say so. Super tasty, attentive service and simply recommended.

I don't understand all the 5 star reviews. Ambience is great, service is nice. But the food wasn't good at all. The udon soup was a thick mixture of oyster and soy sauce that was way too salty. Everything is very sticky sweet and the starters are frozen, value for money doesn't fit in my opinion.

Good curry - 15 euros for the chicken version is on the higher end in terms of price, but justified by the appealing result. The portion of rice served at the same time is inadequate in every respect. If you politely ask for more rice you will be told "extra rice, extra rice costs" several times. I think that's pretty cheeky... the amount charged for it was even funnier... 3EUR??? Conclusion: things are better elsewhere, a real shame

I took phat thai classic, it was tasty. It had tofu, chicken and shrimp all in. Staff was nice however sometimes they smoked at the door so we smelled it from the inside of the restaurant.

This Thai restaurant in Frankfurt has become our absolute favorite. We discovered it by chance while searching for a good Tom Yum soup, which we always seek out in every city we visit. Given its proximity to our hotel, we decided to give it a try, and we have never regretted it. We are very particular about Tom Yum, even in Thailand not every version meets our standards, and we cook it ourselves as well. In this restaurant, the Tom Yum is incredibly delicious – one of the best we've ever had. The restaurant itself is spacious with an interesting interior that includes various signs and plenty of greenery, creating an atmosphere reminiscent of Thailand. Although the waitstaff are not Thai, and I am not sure about the kitchen staff, the ambiance makes you feel like you're on a holiday in Thailand. The Thai beer and various appetizers are also very good. While we haven't tried much beyond the Tom Yum and appetizers, the menu includes other Thai dishes like Pad Thai, various noodles, and rice with seafood or chicken, which we assume are also quite good. We love the soup so much that we always come back for it. On our last visit, there was a slight hiccup with the spiciness level. I usually order my soup mildly spicy, while my husband orders it regular spicy. This time, both soups were equally spicy, but it didn't ruin the experience. Just make sure to order extra rice to help manage the heat. For lovers of spicy food and especially Tom Yum, we highly recommend this restaurant. It's our favorite place, and we visit it every time we're in Frankfurt. Sometimes, we even come to Frankfurt specifically to dine here.

Authentic taste but but salty. Bit expensive.

The food was very tasty, especially the gyoza with the teriyaki sauce, a very good starter, the paneng curry is also highly recommended. I had both dishes delivered to me via Uber Eats and the chicken and the gyoza were still fresh and crispy. Clear recommendation will order again!!

Good place for lunch. Beware the prices outside lunch menu are a bit more expensive. I can recommend the Pad Thai Classic.

Catastrophic!!! Waiting for over an hour for a meal that has supposedly been ready for pickup for half an hour. Restaurant is "unavailable", driver doesn't respond to messages, when he calls he doesn't understand German or English and is definitely not in the car or on the bike, but somewhere with children screaming in the background.

I like the food but I think the one-time use paper menu on each table is not necessary wasting a lot of paper. Would be even better to have menu with pictures or digital ordering system.

Wow! I believe this place is relatively new. Certainly, I don't recall it being there when I was last in Frankfurt two years previous. Just got in in time to claim a table for lunch as, as it became obvious, this turned out to be a very, very popular spot for lunch. I ignored the lunch menu and dipped into the standard dinner menu. Chicken Satay to start with, followed by Duck Krapao, served Thai hot. I'm normally used to seeing 3 pieces coffee satay, but here I got 4. A welcome start and wolfed down ready for the main. The duck was plentiful, the sauce, very spicy, just as I had hoped for. Both courses washed down with a Weizen Bier, what more could a chap ask for? Would I go back again? Certainly. I didn't return this visit because I it a practice to visit as many different places as I can when there. Lunch or dinner, I think you'll have a great meal.

Ordered soup for 7 euros. Way too small a portion for the price. Good taste

This is a great restaurant for those who miss Asian food. Of course, it's not as authentic as the food you eat in Thailand, but the food is delicious, the restaurant environment is clean and hygienic, and the atmosphere is nice and holiday-like. The key point is that the service of the clerk is very friendly, she is a cute German girl wearing glasses.

The food was very tasty, the conditions were friendly and attentive (and not intrusive). The price-performance ratio is really good! For 2 people just over €50 with starter, main course and drinks. I would just generally advise against sitting outside in the train station district (we sat inside).

Very refreshing atmosphere. They restaurant is very classy yet familiar. Easy staff to talk to, great food! If you do not speak German they have English Menu's and if course all speak very good English.

Modern Thai in Frankfurt's Bahnhofsviertel with a nice ambience - the mixed one with three different sauces was very tasty and we also enjoyed the main courses very well - the staff is friendly and the service is fast - unfortunately the cocktails didn't impress us that much.

A portion of vegan Phat Thai and a glass of Muscat was the perfect lunch for me. The service was very nice and attentive. The Phat Thai was a bit Germanized, but tasted good.

We came here spontaneously and were very happy to have gotten a place. The food is excellent and the service is attentive and friendly.

The Wannawai experience was unforgettable. After we made ourselves comfortable between the soulless plastic bamboo, we were able to enjoy this ambience for another 45 minutes without being distracted by the annoying serving of the food. When we asked after 30 minutes, a visibly overwhelmed waiter told us that he would serve us the food every minute. Plastic is probably the main motif of this establishment. The person sitting next to me won the jackpot and was even able to find a fingertip-sized piece of polypropylene in her food. After this transcendent performance you have found a new regular guest. I will recommend the restaurant to anyone who wants to really feel themselves and their glutamate chakra again.

I was not sure at first if the food was good since Asian restaurant should not sell burger. I ordered the fried rice with tofu and it was really delicious. The taste wasn‘t boring at all the it was really good seasoned.

We eat here about once a month... everything was always good until the last time. On that particular day, in the afternoon, there was a lady and a gentleman there as service staff, we were first ignored for a long time, then poorly served and then both of them stopped We ate together at the next table during the break and left the guests to their own devices and would have liked a second drink. 🤷‍♀️ But it would have just been annoying. So we left the restaurant thirsty without giving any tips. Food was great, as always. Until now, this underground service was a one-time occurrence.

I ordered something to eat - unfortunately it didn't meet my expectations: the Krapao Nua didn't use Thai snake beans, but rather "soft" beans. Unfortunately, it completely changes the actual taste! What's more, there wasn't a single leaf of Thai basil in the dish. The meat in the duck tacos was completely overcooked. A pity. You can do better!

Die Qualität während der Mittagszeit scheint ziemlich zu schwanken und nähert sich so langsam der Qualität der anderen Restaurants und Imbissbuden an der Kaiserstraße. Schade. Ein weiteres Restaurant, das dort bald durch ein anderes ersetzt werden wird. Dabei hatten die echt gut gestartet...

Stylischer und moderner Thai direkt auf der Kaiserstraße. Besonders empfehlen kann ich die gemischte Vorspeisenplatte (je 2x Frühlingsrolle, Gyoza, Sate, Garnele, Chicken Wing, Süßkartoffel) mit drei verschiedenen Saucen. Als Hauptgang hatten wir den Bangkok Wok und die gebratenen Nudeln mit Ente.

Dieses Pad Thai mit Reisnudeln, Garnelen und Tofu schmeckt so lecker. Preis Leistung passt. Personal sehr freundlich und sehr schnell. Auf jedenfall werde ich nochmals bei euch essen.

Das Essen ist sehr authentisch, lecker und extrem vielfältig. Es gibt viele vegane und vegetarische Gerichte. Einzig allein der Service lässt ein wenig zu wünschen übrig. Wir haben extrem lange auf unser Essen warten müssen, was für uns aber durch das Essen entlohnt wurde. Reservierung ist ein Muss. Die Cocktails sind auch sehr gut. Das Ambiente ist ein Traum. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Eigentlich müsste das Restaurant 100 Sterne bekommen und die die cocktails Chiqa und Longdrink Rosato Mio ein Traum

Mega Laden. Sehr Schön und modern eingerichtet und das Essen war wirklich zu lecker. Kellnerinnen und Kellner sehr sympathisch und freundlich. Man hat sich wirklich wohl gefühlt. Ich kommentiere eigentlich selten auf Google irgendwas, aber ich habe mich gefühlt wie in Shokugeki no Soma. Nur Liebe an das Restaurant ❤
