Gondelstation am Pelzmühlenteich in Chemnitz

A trainee was assigned to guide the pedal boats. It's important for children wearing life jackets to have a strap between their legs to prevent them from slipping through! No one was informed about this – I've seen children on pedal boats without this safety device. The ancient life jackets only have a strap for this, without a buckle – I had to tie it. I think it's sad to charge extra for these jackets.

The ambiance was lovely, the gondola pond was also great, but when we wanted to eat ice cream, the fun was over. Nothing against inflation, but charging so much money for a mini soft-serve ice cream from a machine is outrageous... something like that shouldn't be supported anymore...

We always enjoy coming back for a stroll around the Pelzmühlen pond and stopping at the snack bar after (or before). The selection is quite sufficient for a snack, and there's a bit of everything. From classics like various types of sausages (roster, wiener, currywurst), fries, a changing soup of the day to pasta with sausage goulash. Homemade cakes and a few snacks for the little ones are also on offer. Coffee, mulled wine, and cold drinks are also available. At the special window, you can enjoy delicious soft ice cream, chocolate ice cream, and iced coffee. You can sit comfortably by the adjacent playground and keep an eye on the children playing. In the colder season, there's a tent that sometimes has a heater. Service is self-service, often by young people who are generally friendly and quick. The prices, however, are on the higher end, but are currently just about reasonable. For us, it's always worth a visit. And this has been the case since the GDR era, thanks in part to the surrounding area and the zoo. The tenant has done an outstanding job here.

You don't have to pay for more than 30 minutes... the lake or pond is much too small. There were also at least two dead fish floating in the water... not very appetizing. Pedal boat was okay.. but not suitable for small children. Life jackets are good if necessary.

Sehr schöner Ort zum entspannen und Erholen. Nicht so überfüllt wie manch andere. Kostenfreie Parkplätze und auch ausreichend meiner Meinung nach.

Endlich auf dem Pelzmühlenteich herumschippern. Immer mehr entwickelt sich der Stadtteil Rabenstein zum Naherholungsgebiet in Chemnitz. Rings um die Pelzmühle laden Tierpark, Gaststätte, Fahrradwege, Spazierwege um den Pelzmühlenteich ein. Ganz neu ist seit April 18 die Gondelstation am Pelzmühlenteich. Tretboote laden auf eine Tour ein. Wir finden das Konzept sehr gut und können es weiterempfehlen. Preise: 1/2h 9 EUR. 1h 11 EUR. Für eine Fahrt am Bistro der Gaststätte Pelzmühle melden.
