A trainee was assigned to be a pedal boat instructor. It is important for children with a life jacket that a band between the legs prevents them from slipping!!! Nobody was informed of this - I saw children on the pedal boats without this safety device. The ancient life jackets only have a strap without a buckle - I had to tie it tightly. I find it sad to ask for extra money for these vests.

The ambience was nice, the gondola pond was also great, but when we wanted to eat an ice cream the fun was over, nothing against inflation, but charging so much money for a mini soft ice cream from the machine is outrageous... something like that can't be supported anymore.. .

We always like to come back to take a walk at Pelzmühlen Teich and then (or before) stop at the local snack bar. The offer is quite sufficient for a snack and there is a bit of everything. From classics such as sausages in various types (Roster / Viennese / Currywurst), fries, changing soups of the day to pasta with sausage goulash. But homemade cakes and a few treats for the little ones are also on offer. Coffee, mulled wine and cool drinks are also available. There is very tasty soft ice cream, iced chocolate and iced coffee at the extra window. You can sit comfortably at the adjacent playground and keep an eye on the children playing. In the cold season there is a tent that is sometimes equipped with a radiant heater. The service is self-service. Often by young people who are usually nice and quick. The prices are rather in the upper range, but are currently. just acceptable. Always worth a visit for us. And this has also been the case since GDR times because of the surrounding area and the zoo. The tenant did an excellent job here.

You don't have to pay for more than 30 minutes... the lake or pond is much too small. There were also at least two dead fish floating in the water... not very appetizing. Pedal boat was okay.. but not suitable for small children. Life jackets are good if necessary.

Sehr schöner Ort zum entspannen und Erholen. Nicht so überfüllt wie manch andere. Kostenfreie Parkplätze und auch ausreichend meiner Meinung nach.

Endlich auf dem Pelzmühlenteich herumschippern. Immer mehr entwickelt sich der Stadtteil Rabenstein zum Naherholungsgebiet in Chemnitz. Rings um die Pelzmühle laden Tierpark, Gaststätte, Fahrradwege, Spazierwege um den Pelzmühlenteich ein. Ganz neu ist seit April 18 die Gondelstation am Pelzmühlenteich. Tretboote laden auf eine Tour ein. Wir finden das Konzept sehr gut und können es weiterempfehlen. Preise: 1/2h 9 EUR. 1h 11 EUR. Für eine Fahrt am Bistro der Gaststätte Pelzmühle melden.
