The best burger I have ever had

The burger was really good. But it's just a snack bar. Hardly any seating.

Far too expensive for far too little taste quality. The hype isn't worth eating here. Unfortunately, it's not tasty.

Timio Burger, tasty but nothing special. Ordering is done online at a stand in front of the shop. I went on a Wednesday evening, it was quite crowded but not too crowded. The only downside is that it doesn't have enough space to sit. In Greece we would call it a canteen.

Very tasty, hamburgers, fries, and the excellent cheese sauce. Always happy to come back

Good burger cheese sauce is great!!!

Maybe it used to be good... but today the buns just weren't toasted + the cucumbers and onions were ice-fridge-cold, so the result was a really inedible burger. Disgusting such a “raw” burger.

The burgers are really tasty. But a few bar tables would be cool so that you can eat in a more relaxed manner.

They have the hottest smashburgers I've ever eaten here. The fries with the truffle mayo are also a burner.

I highly recommend this place, I took a double patty cheeseburger and it was so nice! Special mention for the fries: a small portion is enough for 2 people. Too bad it hasn't a place where you can sit and enjoy it.

Great burger place, always busy. Seating is the main issue. Better to take away or get delivery.

Food was very good, but really expensive for a non-citizen and fries. I also find it strange that there are no seats except for a bench around a tree. Very unusual for a burger restaurant. Music was also turned up to a higher than normal volume. We found it quite funny, but not for everyone

For me the castles weren't that great. Too heavy in the stomach. My husband thought they were too salty but our three children (9, 13 and 17) thought they were great

Good Burgers A bit pricey though

One of the best burgers I've had the pleasure of eating. The restaurant is set up like a snack bar. The burger can already be ordered and paid for in the queue via the terminal.

I have to say the store deserves 5 stars anyway. Smashburgerladen and their smashburgers are good, I think the fries are better, but it's "just" a smashburger 🫡 given that some people queue here for 30 minutes or even longer, it's a little overhyped. Very tasty but not a reinvention of the burger

Well... We were super disappointed. I also went to the homepage and looked and searched... but no clue anywhere. This is a ToGo store. There is no seating to relax and eat and test the smash burgers that are supposedly listed. You could do take-away or eat while walking, but we didn't want to. There was a small waiting bench around a tree in front of the store and that was it. So you could eat in the dingy corner on the waiting bench... we didn't want to. Therefore only 2 stars, which are not for the food.

Cash payment is not possible at all, which is not nice. And I didn't like eating that much, it was salty and it was hard on my stomach.

Goldie's Smashburger at Kotti - what can I say: Best Smashburger I've had so far. The meat and rolls are both really good - often either the meat is not crispy enough or the bun is too dry. Both fit here. I haven't been in the Smashburger game for long, but I've already tested a few spots - and Goldies has been clearly ahead so far. Short line, a few seats outside – as you would expect. Fries were solid and the cheese dip was very tasty. For me: a must do when traveling in Berlin.

An obsession, no other words can describe this place. A must go-to in Berlin.

Very very good sandwiches! Good chips, but nothing special... still a lot (a portion for two is still a lot if you take the sandwich with double meat). Very fast service!

I finally got the nerve to try goldies. Vegan cheeseburger, fries, truffle mayo. It was ok, but 16€? And for God's sake, what's this crappy ketchup doing on an otherwise good burger? For me it was sobering. Sorry, there won't be a second time.

Very good burgers, delicious sauces and crispy fries. My expectations for the food were fully met. Unfortunately, the ambience is very 'simple' and almost has the fast food idea a little too strong. But in itself it is harmonious and makes sense with the cheap prices of the burgers in relation to the very good quality.

World class burgers. Best in Germany by far, and a top contender for on of the better in Europe!

We went to Goldie’s twice during our trip because the burgers were delicious. We tried the Cheeseburger and the Super Smash Brother - the Cheeseburger tastes like a better McDonald's cheeseburger, while the Super Smash Brother is like a better Big Mac. Would definitely recommend the Super Smash Brother because it has even more taste. We didn't try fries, but the burgers alone are reason enough to come here. It's also super quick, so perfect if you just want to eat a good burger.

The important thing is only for pick-up, no seating, but the burgers and the speed of the staff are simply sensational. After a short pause I could have queued up again straight away. Thanks to the Goldie team

One of the best burgers I've eaten so far.

We found a table by miracle, although here it is very typical to drink at the standing bar. The sauce we ordered with the ketchup chips tasted a little like curry and we loved it. The burgers were quite delicious.

Well deserved 5 stars! We'll definitely come again. Ordering is done on a tablet, the waiting time on a Saturday was about 15 minutes, standing tables were available, there was no toilet on site.

The fries are okay, but everything is really not that great. Without the advertising, the snack bar would be nothing. You can definitely have a better dining experience somewhere else.

Antisocial! We waited over 30 minutes for our food without any apology from the staff. As a small compensation, we were offered a sauce - but not really as a courtesy: it was then offered to us for purchase separately via the card reader for €4. I've never experienced anything like this!

If I could, I would give 0 stars!!! The burger is good, but the service is non-existent. Of course, tips are still asked on the order monitors. Burgers are eaten on garbage cans because there is no other place to sit. Overall unworthy.

Apparently a popular food spot, we had to stop by. It's a kind of kiosk with automated ordering. The food is freshly prepared and tasted very good. There's only a bench for seating if you don't pick up your food and take it with you.

Burger is very tasty, but the hype surrounding this place remains a mystery to me. It's certainly not a bad burger, but I've certainly eaten better ones. If you're in the area and unsure what to eat, it's worth a detour.

It was my first time at Goldies after trying a few Smash Burgers in Cologne. The single cheeseburger is really good: balanced sauce ratio, not too greasy and definitely one of the best smash burgers. I also thought the fries were great - thin, not twice fried and very plentiful. It is purely a takeaway snack bar, eating inside is not possible. Order via terminal like at Mcces.

Street hamburgers located at the end of the Turkish market... the atmosphere is very nice and the burgers are very good... the menu offers many combinations... the fries are also good and the prices are all in all honest... the service guys are nice

Unfortunately, it didn't live up to the hype. The patties are really perfect, but everything else doesn't really fit together. The buns are very sweet, the cheese is processed cheese, which always has a chemical taste, and there was too much ketchup on it. Unfortunately there are better burgers in Berlin. If so, the double cheeseburger tastes a lot better than the single cheeseburger, as the negative components are not as noticeable here.

Soggy fries and burgers upon delivery. Deliveries take a lot of time and travel to many stations in a row, so it is no longer possible for good food to arrive - a shame for an otherwise good shop

THE best smashburger probably in all of Germany. Soft bun with crunchy meat, and the house sauce - everything’s perfect. The crunchy salad provides a delicious contrast. The special burger with the Rösti was even crazier.

It always tastes great but sometimes I only have fries when no one was waiting in front of me and the order took 20 minutes and 4 meals ordered later came first.

Das gesamte Essen kam kalt. Das geht bei Burgern noch einigermaßen, bei den Pommes ist das tendenziell aber eher schlecht. Die Burger haben ein labbriges Bun. Insgesamt schmecken sie, aber besonders ist es nicht. Die Pommes waren ebenfalls labbrig und schmeckten etwas alt, was ggf. durch die Kälte kommen kann. Es erinnert alles sehr stark an MC Donalds. Allerdings mit dem Unterschied, dass man dort weit weniger bezahlt...

Mediocre fast food at best. There are far better burgers in many places in the city. The meat was good and flavorful, but the rolls were soggy, sweet and overall too small. The fries are almost a joke for the price of 3.90 euros or 5.50 euros with ketchup and mayo (costs extra). They are pale, thin, limp and cold, not at all hot, greasy and crunchy as you would hope. Where the hype about Goldies comes from is unclear, I don't need it again. Very disappointing.

First burger i had in berlin, we love to come back.

Been here again for a long time and the food was really great. The fries are perfect and the portion is really big for 3.90. Burger perfect too. I ordered this Bacon Jam separately (very cool) but it came in the burger and not in the cup. I then asked and was given another extra cup. The only negative thing I noticed is that there are no small forks or spoons for fries or sauces.

As a local resident, I am very disappointed with the audience. Leave their packaging (as well as an absurdity, everything to be thrown away...that's very bad on the part of the operator) lying everywhere and they, the inclined eating public, block the sidewalk. It can be done by a man/woman but it does not increase the acceptance of the “barbecue chip shop”. So annoying all around

Good cheeseburger and fries. Unfortunately, the surroundings and the ambience weren't really my thing. The surroundings were pretty dirty. Although there were a few trash cans nearby. It's probably Berlin. Unfortunately, I didn't understand the tipping option with a card. There was no direct service and no proper seating.

The burgers are high quality. Unfortunately, there is no option to eat while sitting at a table on site.

Ordered and very disappointed. Burger and fries extremely limp, NOTHING that would justify this price.

Unfortunately an absolute disappointment. The employee couldn't speak a word of German and didn't even understand when I just wanted the mayonnaise to be served separately. After explaining several times, he just gave me an annoyed shrug. There were also cold, completely soggy fries that were definitely not fresh. For the prices I would have expected much better service and, above all, warm food. Never again!

All burgers are also available as a vegetarian version. Burger relatively small but very tasty. You should order 2-3 to fill you up. No food in the restaurant, just in front of it

So either it's the branch's fault or the costs have been greatly optimized since 2023: The burger is actually a top smash burger as always, not much has changed, BUT: The last time I was at Goldies I tried the truffle mayo for €2.30. That's a hefty price but also fair for a good truffle mayo. In 2023 it was totally worth it and it added a lot of value to the fries. This time the mayo tasted almost nothing like truffles, even though there were a lot of "bits" or dots in it. You might think it was truffles. There was also a lot of “luck” in it for us (see picture). There you can see that they are simply chopped mushrooms, which sometimes weren't chopped very well. It's an absolute disgrace for me if I spend €2.30 on a mayo and then be deceived like that. I would still recommend Goldies, but this cost optimization and a certain level of dishonesty cast an unfavorable light on the whole thing and tarnish the experience somewhat. And as a final point: It's not the Super Smash because of the sauce. Better take the normal one with ketchup and mustard, it tastes incredibly good.

Smashburger and space chips, shame only for the inconvenience of eating standing on the tables which also serve as baskets. If this doesn't give you any problems, go there because it's worth it.

I find the meat too fatty and it seems to be just store-bought bread of non-bakery quality. I know better local shops even in Oldenburg. Which is saying something in relation to Berlin.

The smashburgers here are simply fantastic! Juicy, perfectly seasoned and with wonderfully crispy edges - just the way they should be. Despite the long queue (a sign of the quality!), everything went super quickly and the service was well organized. You can tell that people work here with passion. If you like really good burgers, you definitely shouldn't miss this place!

Dirty, dirty, godforsaken area near the drug scene at Kotti. When we arrived the store was closed even though it showed open on Google. Maybe it's better that way. I recommend distance.
