Five Guys Berlin Ku'Damm in Berlin

I wanted to get a children's meal for my little sister, but the man refused to give me a regular drink and only wanted to give me a small apple juice because he thought the meal was very unprofessional for me. I then had to spend €40 for two meals just so my sister could get a regular drink.

I was just about to get a milkshake with bacon. It's "the signature thing" at Five Guys, and then I was told: "No, we don't do that anymore. Only halal now..." Excuse me?! You do it on your burgers, though...?! You couldn't make this stuff up... 🤦🏻‍♂️ And with that, you've lost another loyal customer. Which, according to recent news, you really can't afford.

Very good burger and fries again

It was very busy, yet service was quick and efficient. The large portion of fries, €5, was too big even for me. And a bit less salty. My €4 beer was forgotten. It happens. The €13 hamburger was tasty, but expensive. And you have to start eating it right away. Otherwise, the burger gets cold. The music was very loud.

I don't think I've ever in my life had been needed to seek relief in an underseasoned burger, because the fries were so insanely overseasoned and salty. I did buy the cajun fries, yes, so I should propably have bought a mayo, my bad, but I did purchase a milkshake which helped. The cheese on the burger was not melted, is was mostly cold and disappointing, which was interesting, considering all four cooks was mashed together, chatting and laughing, while one of them once in a while yelled out order numbers. If you like ya fries extra salty or your burger cold and unseasoned, this is the five guys for you. They were quick though, I'll give them that.

You only get the deposit back for the reusable cup if you kept the receipt. This isn't mentioned anywhere, so I just threw away €2 to Five Guys. The burgers are absolutely mediocre and completely overpriced. The staff only speaks English. Thanks for nothing!

The peanut butter milkshake is simply amazing. Thick, creamy, and incredibly flavorful. One of the best milkshakes ever.

The owner himself was behind the bar, creating a great atmosphere throughout the entire restaurant! The ambiance is very similar to the American version, only everything is much cleaner and more organized. The burgers and fries were delicious.

Cold citizens and no service never again

The burger was cold. The tables were sticky and dirty. The staff could have resoled their shoes while walking. Tourist trap, beware.

Is Five Guys over? It’s not the same Five Guys experience that I know from the past and other locations. The burger meat was hard and flavorless, the bun soggy, the toppings cold and hard, the cheese was not melted. The staff were not that friendly and seemed stressed. The ventilation system was roaringly loud and sent cold air down my back. Everything else in the eating area is loud and too bright and uncomfortable. No table seems to face in a direction that is pleasant to sit at. The bathroom was dirty and you had to pull two handles to exit. With such premium tier pricing, you'd be better off trying one of the new smash burger fad places in town.

The food itself was just okay. Tasty, but nothing more, and I expected something more. If a cheeseburger were 30, or maybe 35, tops, I'd say it was okay, but a single regular cheeseburger costs 13 euros. We waited a long time, and the burger was wrapped in aluminum foil, which immediately put me off (I assume it was to keep it warm longer, but it was still cold. The fries were delicious, and the wide selection of drinks was a plus. Not at that price. We paid 160 zloty for two people at a fast food restaurant!).

Good quality burger chain, surroundings are what you would expect from a chain of this type. The food is of pretty good quality, it seems like the ingredients are of good quality and you have influence on the content of your burger.

This is unfortunately going to be a slam dunk. I've known and liked Five Guys for many years, even back in the States, but the service here compels me to try other burger joints. They're switching to self-service kiosks, which produce a ton of errors and frustrate all the customers in line. They only accept card payments, but are generous enough to double-check the booking, but are unable to resolve the issue on-site because the kiosks are self-contained and the store manager doesn't have access to the bookings. I was told to come back tomorrow, and the "big boss" would be there then. Unfortunately, the quality of the burgers has also declined dramatically. They used to be juicy and delicious, and you wanted to lick every finger individually. Today's version was a sad, dry, and flavorless version, a shadow of the past, at best. Washing your hands after eating a burger is actually mandatory, but in this store, you might want to skip that because of the smell of a train station restroom, otherwise the burger will come back up. Extremely disappointing, and no, I won't be coming back, because there are so many burger joints in Berlin and elsewhere that work with love and joy, and don't try to squeeze the customer for nothing in return. It's a shame, unfortunately.

I paid 25 euros for a burger with some onions and BBQ sauce! It came with 20 fries and a small Coke. So, if I pay 50 marks for a simple burger, I expect the burger to be gold bars! It tasted disgusting, everything was absolutely smashed. And it was absolutely overpriced.

The burger was cold because this restaurant no longer serves burgers in bags with hot fries, but on cold baking sheets. Every table was dirty and sticky, and there was virtually no effort to change that. I'm not sure if the employee I complained to wasn't interested or simply didn't have the cognitive skills to hold a conversation. All in all, catastrophic. @me if this is back to the standards of Five Guys International.

The burgers are very good, the self-order screens are convenient, the food comes quickly, and the staff is very friendly. The ambiance could be a bit better, but overall, I highly recommend this place as an alternative to other famous fast food chains!

I am afraid this personalisation is far over the top. No Service just screens. I forgot to order a topping and got an only meat burger! Nothing else.. after asking they gave me some onions and tomatoes but it all came down to 14 EUR for a single burger Kit and I am shure I really don't need that again..thx

2 double cheeseburgers with lattice wrap and a powerade zero - perfect protein rich and low carb meal. Always a go to when I'm in the area. The staff takes extra wishes (like medium-rare) into account which is also very nice.

I went to this restaurant on 26 August 2025 at around 5:00 PM just to order some food for myself, but a guy from the team (wearing a black cap and shirt, looked like the manager) immediately told me, ‘Sorry, we don’t have any jobs.’ I wasn’t even there for a job — I only wanted food. The way he spoke to me was rude, disrespectful, and felt racist. Because of this, I’ve decided not to order from this place again.

I ordered via Urber eats and the order never arrived and when i raised a complaint that the order never arrived, they refused to give any refund. Stay away from this branch. Very disappointed.

The cleanliness was borderline and the order time was simply terrible. We've been waiting 40 minutes for two burgers. Never again at Five Guys. The noise level was extreme.

The cheese bacon burger was okay, but something was a bit sour in some bites, probably the hot sauce, a bit like Tabasco, perhaps! Crispy bacon, and it tasted good! Otherwise, the table service itself was positive, but the way the service was carried out, carelessly slamming the food down on the table and without any introduction, was truly disreputable, even for a fast food chain! Waiting times weren't fast-food-like.

Can’t understand what all the hype is about at five guys. Love that I can get a burger with exactly what I like-except avacado. It took ten minutes for the food to come. Very generous portions. The little hamburger and small order of fries were more than enough. Better quality burger and fries than at other chains. What bothered me was it feels dirty and sticky.

Personally, I didn't find it tasty at all. Both the bread and the patties were dry. The meat had no flavor. There was barely any sauce in the burger. The atmosphere wasn't inviting, and the tables were dirty. The prices were too high.

Luckily, it wasn't busy, and the burgers were ready pretty quickly. Everything was delicious, and the restrooms were clean. It was extremely windy outside, and the chairs outside were being pushed away.

I highly recommend the bacon hot dog and bacon cheese burger. Thanks to the Turkish staff.

Maybe I went in with too high expectations. But: - A completely filthy restaurant, where NOT A SINGLE table wasn't completely dirty or sticky. I then cleaned it myself with napkins. - Only one terminal worked, endless lines. - No table numbers or signs to identify the order. - No paper in the receipt printer, but you have to show the receipt when you pick it up. - And no, it wasn't because there weren't enough staff. The burger wasn't worth the money or the wait. No. Not like that, folks.

You order at the kiosk, sit down, and they bring it to you. It tastes like it was made at home. The patty was better than the others, so I looked it up and found out it was made from sirloin. I liked it better than Shake Shack or In-N-Out. The fries were also delicious. :) The restaurant is a bit noisy, but it's a fast food restaurant, so it's normal. The price is reasonable and I'm satisfied. The employees were friendly, and the restroom was clean.

Typical Five Guys at the Kurfürstendamm subway station. Good quality of burgers and hot dogs. Everything is freshly prepared. Short waiting times. For me personally the volume level is a bit too loud. Everything is within reasonable price.

Thanks to the dear cashier and colleagues yesterday who made us 2 cheeseburgers 5 minutes before closing. The fries that came with it were very tasty.

Prices are a little high, but their burgers are amazing. Its meat is very big. They use veal. Their potatoes are both delicious and plentiful. You can choose unlimited drinks if you want. Roasted shelled peanuts are incredibly delicious.

Far too loud Sonfdrink machine had no carbon dioxide (?) Citizens were only lukewarm.. in the end it looks nice etc. typical of American style but doesn't really work the numbers were in incomprehensible English.. of course it's a very multicultural area but especially for our older people who have learned Russian instead of English it's not so easy to hear a 178 in English between the kitchen noises and people chattering. Food was okay but no better than at Burgerking or Mc's, I'd rather go to the pizza shop across the street or there's a German shop somewhere, I don't know if it tastes good but it was much quieter xD

Yes, it's delicious and tastes grilled, but it's just a bit too expensive. Good idea that you get the ketchup/mayo/vinegar yourself and don't have to pay extra for it. Even if it tastes much better than the big M, we still have fast food with self-service and waiting in line. Great fries and good portion.

I need to remember quite how poor 5Guys is here in Berlin, if not indeed throughout Germany. The employees just don’t care about quality or indeed speed. My burger was just sitting on the side, getting cold for about 8 minutes, whilst waiting for the other employee to put a top-bun on it. So I missed my train. I mean, it tastes loosely like 5Guys in the US or UK, but it would be really good if the brand came in and made it more appealing. I think I’m going to make sure I go to nearby Burger Meister in the future, whose burgers are fractionally less good, but the service and care are significantly better.

I have been there last week. Have been hearing about 5 guys for some time and really disappointed with the burgers. Just ordinary burgers where you choose the content of it but definitely not worth for what you pay. The only positive thing is the election of drinks which are drink as much as you want. Also my son liked the milk shake. But if you are looking for a great burger, this is not the place for that amount you pay.

Good burgers, you can add whatever toppings you want without any addition. Their original potatoes disappointed me a little, I was expecting more of a peanut flavor. The smoothies are also delicious. The only bad thing, the price seems a little high to me.
