Five Guys Berlin Ku'Damm in Berlin

Both me and my other half got food poisoning. My tummy basicly never reacts to anything. But around 1 Hour after eating here both our tummys said no. So well, thanks for a destroid trip to Berlin Guys.

I have been a guest on Five Guys for many years. During yesterday's visit I realized that the price and performance are no longer in an appropriate relationship. 13.50 € for a burger is quite a bit (or almost 8 € for a few fries (fried potatoes). Until a while ago there was at least a warm burger with a decent topping. That is, you bite into it and something falls out on the aluminum foil. This time it was different, more expensive, less topped and cold. The next shrink case.

Die große Portion Pommes ist wirklich groß und langt locker für zwei Personen. Die Auswahl an Geschmacksrichtungen bei den Getränken ist toll. Preislich natürlich nicht super günstig. Die Lautstärke ist in anderen Fast Food Restaurants besser, vor allem wenn die Bestellnummer immer wieder laut ausgerufen wird. Eine Anzeigetafel ist aber wohl in dem Konzept nicht vorgesehen.

Staff super friendly, selection is ok. I like it when I can choose my own ingredients for the burger. The meat is really very good, you can taste it. I also think the price is a bit high. What really bothers me is the aluminum foil around the burger. We ate in the store and if they asked us if we wanted to eat here or take it away, they could have wrapped it in paper. He wouldn't get cold that quickly. It's also stupid that the trash can has a separate tray for aluminum foil, separate for the rest. But the joke is that it still ends up in the same trash can. Then why am I breaking up?

Best burgers, really good fries and great milkshakes. Super quality and price/performance ratio absolutely fine.

Really good burgers. Plenty. Place a bit boring, not cosy.

It's very crowdy and loud during the busy hours, it could also be cleaned more frequently. Outside of busy hours it's nicer. The peanuts are really nice. The fries are amazing too.

Well from the point of view of a vegetarian… the experience was anything but positive… I had the vegetarian “sandwich” with cheese and it was in fact the burger bread with vegetables inside. I could barely eat it as it fell apart the moment I grabbed it… if you are vegetarian, stay away… my partner at the traditional burger and had the same problem. Good meat but terrible bread. What saved us were the free salted peanuts!!

Real dirt! The only positive thing is the selection of drinks but the price/performance ratio is below ground. Better go 100m further to Burgermeister!

Good ground beef steak and ranut. Side dishes for the same price. Ok with children, quickly fills the stomach. Better than traditional commercial fast food restaurants

Friendly staff, a bit too expensive but freshly prepared, tasty bugs. Fries with endless mayonnaise or ketchup and a drink with a refill are unbeatable. Ambience a bit loud. Not recommended for a first date. ;-)

One of the best fast food chains I know. All the employees are very nice and it is very clean especially the toilet (which is very rare). The food is something out of this world so good and not even what I get at home or in the restaurant is that fresh. It's very nice (and you can still take peanuts with you for free)

Food poetry. The burgers are perfect, the fries are unbelievably fast food, and the choice of drinks is impossible :) It's worth visiting this place at least once👌

UPDATE: The statement about fresh ingredients is simply not true. Industrial ingredients are used, you can see the ARD market check. Extremely overpriced! Yeah, no. I used to be a big fan of the chain, but the burgers are now at best below standard. Canned mushrooms, cold, unroasted buns, unmelted cheese - a list of misfortunes. Pay €16 for a small burger and fries - without a drink? Where has the golden burger time gone 😭

A typical FiveGuys. Unfortunately there were no ice cubes in either dispenser. The service was very friendly and the outside area is very inviting.

Deliciously juicy burgers, here you can design your burger yourself, so that you get exactly the ingredients you want. The fries are served in large portions, you can easily share. Drinks are refilled for free. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. A clear recommendation from here.

Up to Five Guys standards, nice restaurant

Mitt andra besök på en Five Guys restaurang, även denna gång i Berlin och mest för att bara få något litet i magen. Därför blev det denna gång ingen hamburgare utan en varmkorv vilken visade sig vara riktigt god. Bortsett från väntetiden på korven så var detta en trevlig upplevelse. Jag hade väl väntat mig en enklare korv men fick en ganska okej korv i storlek tillsammans med bröd - korven var delad på mitten och serverades med både ost och bacon vilket ju alltid passar bra till mat. Gott och lagom mättande så det blir nog fler av denna vid eventuella framtida besök.

Way too loud, incompetent staff. For 8 people, food was wrong 3 times, drinks were warm and no ice cubes. Is this awesome fast food? No, definitely not.

More or less like McDonald's. People say the burgers are better, but not for me.

Our order got lost but the staff was super helpful and apologetic and offered us complimentary milkshake and fries. Super staff!

Not offering a vegetarian/vegan burger in 2024 is a massive loss

Völlig enttäuschend und ehrlich gesagt das Geld nicht wert. Ich habe fast 20 € für ein vegetarisches Sandwich mit wässrigem, geschmacklosem Gemüse und einem ekelhaften Stück Kunstkäse zwischen zwei billigen Brötchen ausgegeben. Es gab kein Eiswürfel im Getränkeautomaten und die Tische waren dreckig. Ich ging mit Übelkeit.

Staff is good. Spacially, kulpreet is dealing very nicely. Will visit again.

Is recommended and tastes excellent.

Poorest shop in all of Berlin, if you want a little for a lot, you've come to the right place. Shop should be abolished, 10€ for a hot dog 😂😂😂

Completely overrated and overpriced. €12.50 for a cheeseburger... wrapped in aluminum foil and then in a paper bag... not exactly sustainable. The facility has the charm of a train station toilet. The burgers have to be laboriously put together, which fails due to the staff's lack of language skills. In addition, there is an extremely long wait until the food is ready and even then the cheese is still “raw”. The whole thing is topped with rotten old free peanuts. Conclusion: overpriced and bad. Thanks, but no thanks. Once and never again.

It just closes at 11 p.m. even though it's supposed to be open until midnight

Been a customer of Five guys for a lot of years. Today is the first time an employee of the chain gave me my order, which was two burgers and two drinks, without any “free fries” as the chain frequents. Of course I wasn’t going to ask for them since it’s considered a given, but completely threw my mood off. It’s the small things that sway a customer. It’s expensive and we look the other way due to the treat we receive, otherwise it’s just plain overpriced.

The best chain burger and the tastiest fries ever. Actually fresh ingredients and individual composition. The large portions are absolutely ok for the price and if you're really hungry. Unfortunately, the store itself only has the atmosphere of a factory hall, but when I visited on Saturday evening it was still tolerably clean.

Just bad food that sucks and then totally overpriced!

I must say that this place is lovely. I was also pleased with the attendance. I don't usually do this, but I feel I should mention that I saw someone complaining specifically about the African gentleman working at the restaurant. I wonder if I might ask what happened to cause this. From my own observation, he is actually working as an attendant, which means customer service, which he needs to be friendly with everyone to avoid complaints being made. What are we going to call this now in the 20th century?

Ordered a sandwich with cheese, got a hamburger bun. Hamburger was good enough, but the sausages, the dinner sausage was split in half and fried.

FastFood halt. War ganz lecker, die Cajun Pommes sind sehr lecker. Portionen groß, Preise in Ordnung. Personal leider unterirdisch, bei der Bestellung ging eine Menge schief.

You could possibly clean the tables after the guest leaves the table.

A lil taste of home on the other side of the planet. And yes they still give u hella too many Cajun fries.. okay actually there was one thing that sucked tho it was that the soda fountain didn't have any damn ice! What the heck!

Very clean branch (especially the toilet facility). The employees are extremely service-oriented towards customers (especially when it comes to complaints).

Hands down the best burger I’ve had. I ordered the small bacon-cheese and it was amazing. Nice that you can add all the elements you want to your burger.

Unfortunately, the Five Guys at Ku'Damm has declined significantly. We ordered a sandwich with “grilled cheese” and we received two upside-down sesame buns with cheese in the middle. Which, because the round sides were in the middle, fell apart while eating. Not that tasty.

Fast fud and I won't go into detail, I came there by accident. The fries were good, the hamburger was fine, I was hungry and I sinned.

It serves really delicious and fresh products. Fries were hot. Cold drinks were varied.

The Berlin Five Guys (Joachimsthaler Straße) is the worst managed FG I‘ve ever been to. Staff speaks no German (we are in Germany), I could live with that but even their English is way below average so ordering is already a bit of a challenge and you have to repeat everything (but granted, staff was very friendly). Then, only one soda machine worked but only dispensed non-carbonated soda (ever had non-carbonated coke?) and no ice. When complaining, shoulders were shrugged and I got a bottled coke (cheaper than the refill I had paid for) as a replacement and that was it. No one thought putting up an out-of-order sign two following customers all had to find out the hard way the machine doesn‘t work. No paper in the restroom topped off our not-so-great dining experience. Food was ok but the patty meat a bit drier than usual. I will not come to this FG again.

FOOD IS ALWAYS GREAT!! My favorite go-to- burger always!

We just wanted to have a drink, but unfortunately the drinks machine wasn't on. But the staff really tried hard to get the machine up and running. Because of the long wait, we got fries on the house. So all in all very satisfactory. Gladly again.

It hurts when you pay 7.50 for Cajun style fries, but then they are totally soggy and inedible. The reason I came was because I tried fries like these at a Five Guys branch in Heidelberg and found them absolutely delicious. But the ones at Kudamm tasted completely different and simply bad.

Two burgers, two fries and two drinks €50 are absolutely disproportionate! Tables are dirty and the noise in the restaurant is so loud that you can't even hear what the staff is saying to you. Quality of the food is ok, nothing special. Can't go to the store.

Regular fries and bacon cheeseburger, it is too much food in my opinion. The taste of the burger or fries is not sensational, but it is ok if you want to eat something fast.

It is really delicious. I find the fries little too salty but the burgers are yummy and juicy...As soon as you finish, although you are full, you want to eat another one again. Environment is cozy too.

Enjoyed great burgers and fries

Just do it. If they were in Copenhagen, I would visit weekly. Tasty burgers (you can share a portion of fries), add as crazy as you want, and all the mayo and ketchup you can think of. Good location, and outdoor seating.

Way too expensive for a fast food chain. (1 burger = 12€, at other companies you pay the same 2€. The service was friendly, the food was quite good, but the fries were just a sack of mushy paper together with the burger wrapped in aluminum foil, which was very soft and laid us down to be picked up.

Food was not good at all. Small cheeseburger was so expensive as well for such a small burger…. The fries were kind of odd and the hot sauce that came with it was just a fingertip full. For that price it’s not fair. Very dirty place and not a good atmosphere at all.

Way too effing expensive. 20€ per person although only 2 also had drinks and 2 had the small burgers.

One of the best burgers and fries I've ever eaten. Extremely filling. Definitely try it if it's available in the city you're visiting.

The hamburger is really delicious and it is nice that the potato is low-fat. BUT! The music inside is very loud and mixes with the sound of the frying machine and the aircondition. And the women are shouting out the number of those who come in line. Isn't it very primitive in today's technology to call customers by shouting? It's very noisy here. In a place with such a beautiful view of the city, I felt like I was sitting in a glass fan of noise.

It was very bad service, the woman at the deep fryer was very unfriendly. We only asked for a new bag for the fries because ours was broken and we were verbally attacked by two employees... they were very rude and disrespectful.

Slightly below average burgers for slightly above average prices. Also no vegan options. Burgers are wrapped in alu foil which is not very sustainable. No real reason to come back.

Disgusting: The burger is one big, greasy, cold mass. The fries are limp, soggy and not properly seasoned. The only thing that works is the banana milk sake. Too sweet, but it works. We don't even need to talk about the price. Far too expensive, absolutely not recommended. There are a thousand times better burgers in this city for much less money.

The burger at Five Guys tastes really delicious and is in the typical American style. The ingredients are fresh and tasty. If you are there for the first time and order the 'All the way' burger, you will be surprised how difficult it is to eat the burger as almost all available ingredients are on it. At €12, the burger is a bit more expensive, but the freshness and taste justify the price. In summary, it is a delicious burger that you can recommend with a clear conscience.

Toilets were so dirty that I think NYC sewers are cleaner then that place.

Everything about Five Guys is great. The only burger place worth going to.

Expensive and the food is rather basic

The favorite fast food restaurant of my bf and me! He loves the burgers and I love the hotdogs. I love the peanuts too.

Fries were ok, burger overall was only lukewarm to cold. The patty was cold and soggy. Unfortunately I didn't like the burger at all and for the price (far too expensive) you can get much better burgers in Berlin that aren't that expensive. Unfortunately I can't recommend it to anyone else and I won't be coming again.

Hair in the citizen, then weighed down. Only partially got the money back... Everything was totally dirty and greasy. Trash cans are overflowing and no one cares. If you complain, no one can speak German. Hopefully they'll go bankrupt. It is expensive for fast food, and I don't recommend anyone ordering french fries

De som känner mig vet att jag uppskattar en god hamburgare och det går väl inte en resa någonstans i världen utan att jag letar upp ett burgarställe. Då Five Guys ska etablera sig i Sverige så passade jag på att testa burgaren vid ett besök i Berlin. En dubbelburgare med ost samt bacon och sedan får man välja två tillbehör från en lista - lite snålt kan tyckas men visst, släng på lite jalapeños och gurka så blir det säkert bra. Dryck och en liten pommes till detta. Vad sa ni? Okej, bara att betala och se glad ut men 267 svenska riksdaler för detta är ett överpris de luxe om jag ska vara ärlig. Hamburgaren var helt okej men absolut inget som utmärkte sig på något sätt. Snålt med tillbehör om man inte betalar för det och även om det var fri påfyllda på drickan så är det ändå ett högt pris för något som kostar drygt en hundring hos Donken. De får gärna etablera sig i Sverige men med den prissättningen så lär det blir tunnsått bland kunderna. Man får så mycket mer på de andra mer nischade svenska burgarkedjorna - plus godare burgare.

Unfortunately it wasn't so great this time. The burgers also tasted different than usual. We thought it was a shame because it wasn't exactly cheap.

My experience at Five Guys on Ku'damm was disappointing. 20 euros for a burger, a small portion of fries and a drink is far too much, especially since the prices shown on the board are still exclusive of VAT, which leads to unexpected costs. The burger was limp, the fries were soft and everything was way too greasy and unpleasant. A bright spot was the free peanuts and wide selection of drinks. However, the peanuts were too spicy and spicy. There was only warm water in the toilet, which significantly affected the comfort, and overall I didn't feel comfortable there. Overall I give it a rating of 2/5 based on the drink selection, but due to the high prices and poor food I can't recommend Five Guys am Ku'damm.

It is a fast food place that I prefer during my visits to the USA, the cheeseburger bread was cold, I would prefer the bread to be served grilled!

The burgers are delicious, the potatoes are real! There are no dishes and no possibility to eat with cutlery. If you have a small mouth, there will be problems 🙄 There is little difference between a small cheeseburger and a regular one - both are big!

Was very good citizen as I imagined him. Price performance very good better than McDonalds or Bürger King.

That was a very disappointing experience. I had very high expectations since the store is so hyped online. We've had a few comparisons in the last few weeks that were much better! Why are the buns on the burgers cold? The meat patties are incredibly thick, but this makes the burger quite unbalanced. The ratio of meat, cold roll and rest is not right. The fries aren't particularly special either, they're relatively tasteless. Add to that the extreme price, over €13 for a bacon cheeseburger! The salty free peanuts were really the best! Conclusion: That was my first and last visit to the five guys. Next time I'd rather go to "Burgermeister" on Joachimsthaler Str. or "Sold out" on Adenauer Platz.
