Golden Rice Asian Kitchen & Bar in Augsburg

A great culinary experience. You would have to try out the whole map. What I didn't like now was the high proportion of coriander in the dishes. Affected the taste a bit. Otherwise a great restaurant. Just something different! Thank you come back!

We ordered spring rolls, chicken bowl and sweet fry potatoes. Spring roll felt like it has been boiled in oil twice after being kept up for sometime or the oil was burnt. Same goes for fries. It was soggy and burnt oil and chicken bowl was bland no spices or salt. Looked nice but taste was horrible. Overall didn’t worth to spend 45 euros on such food.

First to the positive aspects: We ordered 2 starters and 4 main courses for four people, which all tasted quite good and were beautifully served. The big negative point: As you can see in the picture, one of the lettuce leaves was unwashed and there was clearly soil on it. When we pointed this out to the waitress and she discussed it in the kitchen, we were initially lied to about it being pepper. We told her clearly that it wasn't pepper, but earth, you could tell by the color, fineness and structure. She went back and then a cook came who confirmed that it was dirt and apologized. We ended up having the relevant dish canceled. It can certainly happen that a lettuce leaf is not perfectly washed, but being lied to as a customer is outrageous and impossible.

Super delicious! Service very friendly, great atmosphere - authentic and absolutely recommended! There may only be waiting times when there is a lot going on.

Went to the golden Rice Augsburg on Friday, October 18th at 9:00 p.m. The food was a ten out of ten really very very good. The vegetables weren't sold either, they were really good to firm and the service was very accommodating. The atmosphere was relaxed and quiet, always really nice. The portions are also so large that we were well full. We can wholeheartedly recommend it 😍

Above all, the food is super delicious

The food was incredibly delicious! The portions are large enough and the waitresses are very friendly. The vegan alternatives with Saitan were especially delicious! There is something on the menu for every Asian cuisine lover. Special mention must also be made of the delicious iced tea! The price is a bit high though tastes great! Definitely always worth a visit and all in one, if not the best Asian/Vietnamese in Augsburg!

Like last time, the food was simply delicious and beautifully prepared! The prices are absolutely announced and the ambience is absolutely authentic and beautiful! We discovered many great details in the design of the restaurant during our stay. Our conditions were cheerful and very polite. The only thing we could complain about was the really long time it took for our order to be taken even though we were the first guests!

Nice restaurant with friendly service. Unfortunately there is a lack of cleanliness. Menu stuck together, tattered and dirty. Really unappetizing. Nice selection and good quality of food at fair prices. Definitely worth a visit. But the cleanliness urgently needs to be worked on.

Honestly, the best Asian place I've ever eaten at!!! Everything tastes fresh and really, really good. The service is very nice and picking it up yourself works great! I have a small point that bothers me a little... If there is a lot going on, you should hire more employees to balance it out and also relieve them. One time I had to wait 15 minutes to pay. But otherwise everything was great! Really recommended!

Always worth a visit. Very diverse selection, so far I've been impressed by all the dishes I've ordered during my visits. Very nice service. Overall, highly recommended, one of my favorite stops for Asian food in Augsburg.

Absolutely thrilled! A little more expensive but definitely worth it. There is a lot to choose from, vegan and vegetarian, and it tastes great. Always happy!

Good food, nice opportunity to sit outside. Considering we ordered from the lunch menu, the meal took a long time. We waited 45 minutes for our food and then had to hurry up to make our connecting appointment.

We expected more. Were disappointed. Sushi just okay. Price performance rather poor. The service staff wasn't very attentive, rather passive, unimportant and not committed, a bit unfriendly - the service staff sat outside and gossiped rather than asking if we needed anything else. Cocktails were good.

How do I scare away an existing customer forever? The restaurant is open from lunchtime to 2:30 p.m. We went to the restaurant today at 1:38 p.m. and were surprised and annoyed not to be served anymore. As always, we knew what we were ordering, but obviously they didn't want to serve us anymore. A lunch to go would have been possible. !? She couldn't explain why this was possible, but we weren't allowed to take any more space. We've always enjoyed coming so far, but today was our last visit. No understanding for today's action without giving a reason.

I like to eat Pho, Summerrolls and Unagi Sushi here and am very happy and satisfied.

A really nicely decorated restaurant, which you wouldn't initially expect from the outside. The service was unobtrusive and very polite. The food came quickly and was very tasty. Particularly noteworthy are the spring rolls, which are not the standard that you can buy in the refrigerated section of every Asian store, but are really crispy and delicious. The Cari red curry on the lunch menu was surprisingly manageable in terms of spiciness, otherwise I have great respect for red curries. The Pho has a pleasant, not overpowering and not overly seasoned taste. Tasty and easy to summarize. Regarding drinks, I would like to share a tip that absolutely blew me away. On the drinks menu there is a hibiscus drink flavored with Annis (non-alcoholic aperitif). I would never have ordered this and was surprised at how good it tasted. Definitely try it out!

Great ambience with noise-absorbing ceiling decor. A very rich menu with Asian fusion cuisine. Friendly and prompt service, but unfortunately they hardly came around after the food was served. We sat for a long time in front of empty glasses and you had to ask the waiter at the counter to pay. But it's a high level of complaint because the prices were pleasant.

Leider müssen wir hier eine negative Bewertung abgeben. Wir haben auf der Internetseite nachgesehen wegen der Öffnungszeiten, dort steht Mittag bis 15:00 Uhr geöffnet. Wir sind in der Mittagspause eine halbe Stunde angereist, als wir ankamen um 13:30 Uhr, hieß es, sie haben gerade ihren letzten Gast bedient, da sie um 14:30 schließen. Trotz Bitten und wenig Gästen im Lokal und den falschen Öffnungszeiten auf der Website, wurden wir weg geschickt. Wir hatten unsere Tochter gerade vom KH geholt und sie hat sich gewünscht dorthin zu gehen. Das war das letzte mal.

Great Asian restaurant with a wide selection of vegan food... vegan duck, lots of great vegetables and an effort to make vegetarian food vegan. The ambience inside is magical, the patio is unfortunately located on the street and is a bit louder during the day, but you're happy to accept that ;). We will be back!!!!

Atmosphere inside is very nice. Patio is also cozy however at a fairly busy road. Big menu. Cocktails and drinks were great. Service was not great. Food was ok.

My vegetables were almost raw, so later I had a stomach ache. I don't know that otherwise. It also tasted a lot like soy sauce. I know it differently. We waited a very long time even though it wasn't full.

The first time my family visited this restaurant on a trip, it was truly a surprise. I highly recommend everyone to try this restaurant. Asian food is really delicious. I've eaten spring rolls in some places but here they are better. The sweet and sour dipping sauce is very special. Crispy spring rolls that melt in your mouth. And the price is extremely reasonable. I will definitely come back next time I come to Augsburg

Unfortunately, sitting outside isn't that great here because there's a lot of traffic at the big intersection. We were here on a Wednesday evening and there was a lot of traffic. But the food here is really delicious. I can also recommend the vegan and vegetarian dishes.

I had arranged to meet friends there for dinner. It was my first time there and I was immediately impressed. I immediately liked the interior design. The menu is balanced and there was a good selection for me as a vegetarian.

The service was great. The waiters very friendly. The atmosphere was very modern. The food was super tasty. I haven't had such good food at an Asian restaurant in a long time. We will be back definitely.

The sushi was tasty, but when it says soup that costs almost €8, there are “shrimps” in it and then only one is floating there and the soup was really very, very small (where else would it have cost €4.50 and that too several shrimps) and an 8€ drink, which is marketed as fresh and only mixed with cheap juices, the price-performance ratio is not right at all. One waitress was very nice and the other was very listless and mean.

Great ambience with a nice decoration in the dining room. The separate reception, where you can have a drink in advance if the restaurant is full until the table is free, is also a great idea. Friendly service and quick, high-quality preparation of the food complete the overall picture.

Every time super tasty, huge selection and very good service

The quality of the food is the same as Rice Fusion. In terms of ambience, it is very large and not that cozy. Unfortunately, our online reservation was not included in the handwritten calendar. In the end we still got a free table. The service was very nice and accommodating. The iced teas are particularly recommended. Next time we'll go back to Rice Fusion.

I know it's not common to talk loudly in Asian countries, but I could barely hear the waitress because she was standing at the end of the table and didn't come to me. A cola wheat was also ordered which was not brought. When asked, they said that there was no such thing here. Everything was still OK, but all the food came to the table lukewarm, so there is still room for improvement. Furthermore, the hygiene left a lot to be desired because there were crumbs everywhere on the tables and chairs

Very cozy restaurant. We've eaten there twice now and it was delicious both times. It's also great that you have a selection of vegetarian and vegan dishes.

Some find it beautiful. I find train station halls level. I ordered pork satey. Worst meat ever in a restaurant. And Asians are actually very good at meat. Service is of course friendly but that doesn't help either. Sorry, very bad experience.

Incredible! Very elegantly furnished. Large selection of vegetarian and vegan dishes and everything is very tasty. Big praise for the homemade ice teas. First we waited a long time until we were welcomed. OK, it can happen. But it didn't get any better. The waitress was rude to us. But the worst thing happened at the end. We were told the place was closing in half an hour. Okay, let's hurry up with dinner. In fact, they kicked out all the guests at 11 p.m. sharp. And!!! We weren't outside yet, the waitress just turned off the lights! That doesn't work at all, bottom drawer. I completely understand that the waitress wants to call it a day, but this kind of behavior is completely unprofessional. I hope something changes as the food is delicious and the place used to be good. A pity.

Went there before 10pm, after asking via phone when to arrive to still be able to sit down and get some food. They then told us we couldn't sit down anymore, we could only order food to go. They couldn't explain as to why we would be able to sit down and order drinks, but couldn't sit down with food. They close at 11pm, last order for drinks were at 10:30, kitchen closes at 10. We ended up leaving with food to go, that they had to cook anyways. We weren't able to sit down to eat it - but drinks sitting down would have been fine ?! I still don't understand their reasoning. They cooked it to go, but putting it on plates would have been too much work, I assume. There was a language barrier (we communicated in german), but none the less the attitude of the female servant was very dismissive. The food was good. But not worth the hassle. 2/10.

Unsere kleine interne Weihnachtsfeier hatten wir hier. Alle Essen wie immer voll lecker. Die Bedienung sehr freundlich. Tolle Cocktails und der Abend sehr angenehm. Immer wieder ein tolles Erlebnis.

Ein hervorragendes asiatisches Restaurant fernab von typischer Ente mit gebratenen Nudeln und Glutamat. Die Gerichte dort sind sehr besonders und Geschmacklich super. Hier empfiehlt es sich mal etwas neues auszuprobieren.

Wir hatten einen Geburtstag gefeiert. Das Lokal ist gut besucht gewesen und nettes Ambiente. Allerdings war eine Säule zwischen den Tischen eher suboptimal. Das Essen war gut, allerdings hat die Bereitstellung von Speis und Trank etwas gedauert. Großes Manko: Keine Parkplätze.

Von Außen eher unscheinbar, dafür innen sehr schmucke Einrichtung, schönes Ambiente. Trotz vollem Hause am Sonntag Mittag, war es nicht zu laut und wir konnten uns gut unterhalten. Auch unsere Bedienung war auf Zack und wir mussten nicht lange auf Getränke und Essen warten. Das Essen war super-lecker, die exotischen Aromen kitzeln am Gaumen. Ich hatte die Salmoncado Rolls und eine Chicken Bowl. Es gäbe aber auch Sushi auf der Karte. Auch der Cocktail war erfrischend und spritzig 😋

Man möchte lecker essen in einem schönen Ambiente das einen am besten gedanklich noch entführt - dann ist man hier richtig. Optisch wie kulinarisch eine kleine Reise. Preis Leistung gut, alles frisch, leckere Cocktails, Limonaden alles fein. Sonntag Mittag im November - Empfehlung für alle die eine etwas ruhigere Atmosphäre suchen. Sushi, Wok, Satan, vegan... Surf and turf, Jakobsmuscheln den wünschen bleibt nichts offen. Reservierung empfohlen.

Anmerkung: Ich habe schon x Male in diesen hervorragenden Restaurant diniert. Daher verschiedenste Bilder. Summa summarum : alles echt sehr lecker Heute mein Bericht zu meinem Besuch eines hervorragenden asiatischen/vietnamesischen Restaurant. Restaurant ist sehr schön eingerichtet. Personal sehr freundlich. Vorspeise hatte ich eine Suppe. Sehr frisches knackiges Gemüse (viel Einlage)fein gewürzt - ich persönlich mag es etwas intensiver, daher war die Suppe wirklich toll. Dazu einen Mango/Crispy Chicken Salat - auch ein Geschmackserlebnis Als Hauptspeise Chicken Udon - sehr leckere „Pasta“ ebenfalls toll gewürzt. Die Preise sind im oberen Segment, aber aufgrund der Frische und Qualität der Speisen absolut gerechtfertigt. Sehr gerne wieder. Asiate hat Potential zum Lieblingsrestaurant in diesem Segment

This was not the first time we have been to this establishment, but yesterday it was a bit of an embarrassment, a completely ruined evening and the only establishment in Augsburg where we will never return. It all started with the fact that we ordered a large set of rolls for 35 euros; before, you always had the opportunity to choose what exactly you want from the positions that are included there, and that’s why we did it, as we did it before. after 20 minutes, we decided to ask again and clarify whether everything remained the same as before, to which the waitress began to laugh and say “no, the chef himself decides what you will eat,” although this is not indicated anywhere and what should I do if I am allergic to some product that the chef chooses. We wondered why this was so, because 2 months ago we chose everything ourselves, the waitress could not say anything and called her colleague, who said that they had a new menu and now they cook like this, although it was not. Then, when our order was brought to us, we discovered that the items we ordered were simply not there. For example, we ordered item 712, but they brought us 720 and instead of 760 they brought us 716, and these are completely different positions. It’s clear that in order to understand that they brought us the wrong thing, we tried 1 piece from each meal and called the waitress again, she began to shout that she wrote down everything correctly, although this was not the case, she simply did not know the numbers even after she wrote down our order , she didn’t even repeat it so that we could double-check that everything was correct. Then she again could not say anything why we were given the wrong order and again called her colleague, a man who, as we understood, works behind the bar. We explained the situation to him, to which he very aggressively began to say “why did you eat it then?” although we did not eat the positions that were not correct, but tried 1 piece and left it to say that this was not what we ordered. He started shouting without even listening to us that we would have to pay for it, aggressively waved his hands and constantly raised his tone, although we tried to resolve the issue normally and convey that his colleague was simply confusing the numbers. Next, we said that the situation was simply “stupid,” to which he began banging on our table and shouting very loudly that no one dares call his colleagues stupid, although we did not insult her in any way, situation was simply stupid, we are all human and it happens to everyone . We just wanted to explain our situation and get a banal “sorry,” but in the end we got a huge scandal. Conclusion: if you come across a waiter who served us, there is a 90% chance that you will not get what you ordered. If you start saying something, her colleague will come and start screaming and banging on the table. Thanks to the restaurant for ruining the evening.

Sehr schönes Restaurant, hatten dort unser Teamessen. Das Essen war sehr gut, lediglich bei den Getränken gab es eine lange Wartezeit und der homemade icetea bestand zu 50% aus Schaum, was sehr schade war, denn er hat sehr gut geschmeckt.

Super leckeres Essen und große Portionen:) Reserviert rechtzeitig einen Tisch!

Wir waren zum ersten Mal im Golden Rice und waren von der tollen Atmosphäre sehr überrascht. Das Essen war sehr lecker, frisch zubereitet und toll angerichtet. Das Servicepersonal war bemüht und freundlich, ist jedoch verbesserungswürdig. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder und müssen noch einige Gerichte probieren ☺️! Klare Empfehlung Unsererseits 👍!
