Das Essen war sehr durchschnittlich. Nicht schlecht, aber im Endeffekt das, was man überall bekommt. Das Ambiente ist sehr angenehm, man fühlt sich wohl. Die Servicekraft hingegen war absolut unfreundlich. Kein einziges mal gelächelt oder proaktiv auf den Tisch geschaut. Wir saßen draußen und mussten mehrmals reingehen, weil etwas gefehlt hat oder wir noch etwas bestellen wollten. Wenn man Hunger hat kann man hin, wenn man freundlich bedient werden möchte eher nicht.

Wir kommen hier gerne zum Essen wenn wir in Augsburg sind. Das Essen ist jedes Mal lecker und schön angerichtet. Die Cocktails sind super, das Bier von der regionalen Brauerei. Der Service ist nett, doch manchmal aufgrund der vielen Gäste etwas ausgelastet, so dass man nicht immer zum nachbestellen kommt. Dennoch ein tolles Restaurant und wir kommen bald wieder.

Sehr schönes Ambiente, Speisekarte gut aufgemacht, viele vegetarische und vegane Gerichte, geschmacklich prima, preislich in Ordnung, auch der Service passt👍

Innen sehr groß und weitläufig, schönes Interiordesign. Besonders positiv überrascht hat uns die große vegane Karte mit Fleischalternativen auf Seitanbasis. Sehr lecker! Leider nur ein bisschen hochpreisig für die Portion, die man bekommt.

Wenn ich könnte würde ich null Sterne geben weil es einfach Katastrophe Wartezeit über 45 Minten Wartezeit und noch für 2 Leute hat verstanden und wir waren 3 Leute auf dem Tisch dann hat man einfach kein Bock zu essen! Also ob ich zweimal die verschiedene Mitarbeiter sogar gesagt 3 Stück haben wir bestellt und wir bekommen nach fast eine Stunde 2 serviert . Wirklich nie wieder und nicht zum empfehlen.

Sehr leckeres Essen und liebes Personal. Die Vegane Ente schmeckt super lecker. Gute Auswahl für Veganer.

Wir hatten einen tollen Abend, mit einem fantastischen Essen und einer freundlichen Bedienung.

Wir haben am Geburtstag meiner Freundin hier gegessen, weil uns dieses Lokal von Freunden dringlichst empfohlen wurde. Und wir konnten feststellen, dass sie nicht übertrieben haben. Allem alles. In allem war der Abend eine glatte 10 von 10. Das Ambiente ist sehr einladend und liebevoll gemacht. Wir haben uns einmal durch die Speisekarte getestet, und alle Speisen waren absolut perfekt zubereitet. Wir kommen gern wieder. Danke für den tollen Abend.

Das Essen war wirklich sehr lecker und ansprechend angerichtet. Geschmacklich gab es absolut nichts zu beanstanden – man merkt, dass hier Wert auf Qualität und Präsentation gelegt wird. Leider konnte der Service da nicht mithalten. Er wirkte auf uns unmotiviert, wenig aufmerksam und teilweise unfreundlich. Wir saßen längere Zeit mit leeren Gläsern da und mussten aktiv auf uns aufmerksam machen. Die Bedienung kam nur selten an unseren Tisch und auch die Tische um uns herum wurden kaum betreut. Gerade der Service trägt für mich entscheidend dazu bei, ob man sich willkommen und wohlfühlt. Hier besteht aus meiner Sicht deutliches Verbesserungspotenzial. Sehr schade, denn das gute Essen hätte eigentlich ein rundum positives Erlebnis verdient.

Golden Rice Asian Kitchen & Bar war lange unser Lieblingsrestaurant – leider hat sich das heute geändert. Das Essen und die Atmosphäre waren bisher immer hervorragend. Am 29.12. wollten wir für zwei Personen zum Abendessen kommen. Als wir ankamen, wurden wir von der ersten weiblichen Bedienung sehr unfreundlich empfangen. Anstatt uns kurz mitzuteilen, dass keine Tische frei sind, bekamen wir lediglich die knappe Bemerkung „nicht bei mir“ und ein abweisendes Handzeichen. Das war äußerst unangenehm. Die zweite Bedienung war deutlich freundlicher und erklärte uns, dass alle Tische für den Abend ausgebucht seien. Aufgrund dieser Erfahrung werden wir das Restaurant leider nicht mehr besuchen.

We were very satisfied. The ambiance is incredibly beautiful and the food was an absolute delight. I've had the best crunchy rolls there so far. Incredibly delicious, and they even had a vegetarian option. The service was very friendly, although the waitress was working alone and seemed a bit overwhelmed. The food took quite a while, and we couldn't order more drinks because she was constantly rushing by. Of course, we could have stopped her, but we didn't want to stress her out any further, and we weren't exactly dying of thirst. 🙃 We're still giving it 5 stars because everyone did their best. Thank you for the incredibly delicious food!

Top restaurant, very good food selection, good drinks

The food is truly delicious and of good quality – there's nothing to complain about. However, in my opinion, there are a few points that need improvement: 1. When you walk in, you often have to wait a very long time to be seated. Meanwhile, several waitresses walk by, chatting, but no one attends to the arriving guests. This doesn't seem very inviting. 2. Unfortunately, many of the waitresses seem unfriendly and annoyed, almost as if they're not in the mood. This dampens the mood, even though you're actually looking forward to a nice meal. 3. The opening hours today, Wednesday, are listed as 2:30 p.m. (on Google and 3:00 p.m. on the Golden Rice website). We arrived shortly before 2:00 p.m. and were told they weren't serving anything. If they actually close earlier, they should adjust the opening hours – 2:30 p.m. usually means guests can still order and eat until then. Due to these issues, which have now reached a significant level, we have decided not to eat there anymore—neither we nor our family members. Instead, we will try other restaurants, of which there are now plenty.

I recently visited this sushi restaurant and had mixed experiences. The sushi tasted truly outstanding – fresh, well-prepared, and very tasty. Sushi lovers will be in for a treat here. Unfortunately, the service left a lot to be desired. The wait times were extremely long – both when ordering and receiving the food. The staff was friendly, but visibly understaffed and overwhelmed. It's a shame when such a great dining experience is overshadowed by poor organization. Suggestion for improvement: Increasing staffing or organizing things more efficiently should be urgently addressed so that the service can keep up with the quality of the food. Then this place would truly be a top recommendation!

Unfortunately, there were far too few staff for a Sunday evening! We waited 45 minutes for our food. That's unacceptable. It's a real shame, because the food is really good.

The table wasn't cleaned before we arrived, there was a hair in the appetizer, a beetle on the toilet seat, and we had to ask for soy sauce and chopsticks. Nevertheless, the service was friendly, and the seating was cozy, small, and beautifully decorated. The bowl was half-filled with salad without dressing and served only as decoration.

I wanted to have dinner with my family at the Golden Reis restaurant today (May 13, 2025) around 8 p.m. To our surprise, the entire interior and exterior areas were almost empty – several empty tables were clearly visible. Nevertheless, we were told that we would have to wait 45 minutes because there were supposedly no free tables available. This statement was completely incomprehensible to us, as there was obviously plenty of space. Furthermore, communication with the waitress was very difficult. She spoke barely any German and made no attempt to accommodate us or offer us an alternative. Overall, the interaction was lacking in effort and anything but hospitable. Due to this disappointing experience, I will definitely avoid the restaurant in the future. It's a shame, because we were actually looking forward to a pleasant evening.

The Golden Rice is a real asset for the catering industry in Augsburg. After the Vienna Woods and the short-lived Dastan, I wouldn't have thought that someone would get off to such a successful start at this location. I think the food is excellent and there is a wide range of different dishes - there should be something for everyone.

The food is excellent, especially there is a large vegan selection. The service is very friendly and the ambience is great.

The food tastes great, the decorations are beautiful, and the portions are generous! The sushi uses round rice, and the vinegar rice tastes authentic. The waiters are equally indifferent to anyone of any race, so as an Asian, I don't feel any discrimination. This is a great meal to enjoy when you miss Japanese and Vietnamese cuisine.

The service was extremely friendly, despite being busy. The atmosphere is fantastic, super chic and yet cozy, I really liked it. The most important thing, the food, was completely convincing. Everything tasted wonderful. I'd love to come back

The food didn't arrive until 7:20 p.m., but the table was only reserved until 8:00 p.m. When we asked if we could have something else to drink, we replied: "You know that the table is only reserved for you until 8 p.m.?" Such behavior is very unprofessional, especially since half the store was empty. What can I do if the store doesn't have enough staff on Valentine's Day and brings the food so late? Should I gulp everything down and drink it down in 40 minutes? Never again. The food was delicious, but far too little for a man. In addition, the price doesn't quite match the performance. At exactly 8:00 p.m. the waitress came to pay with the card reader without being asked. I've never experienced anything like that.

The place is beautiful, thematic and well organized. The service was fast and good. The foods come in a very good size and flavor and the smoothies are absolutely delicious. It’s worth the visit.

We ate there for a birthday. Very friendly staff, drinks are brought out very quickly. When it comes to eating it takes a little longer but still comes in a good time! The atmosphere is very nice! You immediately feel comfortable and have enough access to the other tables so that you can talk undisturbed. For dinner I had tuna and salmon sushi. It was really delicious and of high quality! In terms of price, it's a bit on the higher side, but you really get something for it. Strong recommendation!

The first time I went to a restaurant where I didn't think about the price after eating. As you know, our group's "small special requests" were all granted. We were fewer people than reserved, had to move around, needed extra plates and cutlery, etc. Even though the service took a little time in the fully occupied house, everything was very "wholesome". The ambience skilfully hides the building structure and surprises with unusual elements. At first I was a bit skeptical about the prices due to my previous Thai food experiences. However, everything at the table convinced me. Not only is the presentation successful on every plate, but the taste is also highly recommended. A downer - unfortunately no children's menu. But the dumplings were so good that (not only) my daughter wants to eat there again. Thanks for the lovely evening!

Were on December 30th. Eating at Golden Rice for the first time. The service was top. It took a while to get served, but I have to say that the store was extremely full and the service was good. Friendliness is still top! The food was super tasty, lots of it and a good selection, there was definitely something for everyone. The ambience and location were also great. Only the parking situation makes the visit a little more difficult. Always happy !!

The food is really very tasty, but the service is not commendable, you are not welcomed well at the entrance, the staff never knows where to put people, you have to say everything 4 times and repeat yourself because the German language is not understood. It takes around 30 minutes to order because the person doesn't show up. Shortly after the food is served, the condition appears asking if everything is good and then no one comes anymore.. you have to look where the waitress is in order to reorder.. Otherwise everything fits so far

The restaurant offers a wide range of food and drinks, so you first have to read through the menu to see what you want. My friends had some difficulty agreeing on a dish as there was so much choice. We ate all rice dishes except for one person who ate noodles. Everything tasted very good and the service was good too. There is only one star deduction for the somewhat wobbly table, which occasionally bothered us.

Had a wonderful evening here. Excellent service, very cool vibes, and good food. We all had the Pho and it was quite good. Good rich brother, fresh herb flavors, and a good portion. Prices are also very reasonable.

We were there on a Sunday lunchtime with several people including children. The food was very good, but the service was incredibly bad. The waiting times were very long and the service was hard to find. We would have liked to order more or drink more, which was not possible because no one asked or came to order.

I've been a fan of food for years but what we experienced there was really bottomless. Incredibly bad, rude service. We ordered another drink with our meal, which came 45 minutes later after asking three times, but we didn't want it anymore, but it was still included on the bill. When we wanted dessert we were told it would take an hour! And when I asked why, I got a stupid answer: just get up and see how full it is here! I had to completely remove the chicken from my meal because it was definitely not good. When I pointed out that it tasted strange, I got the answer: aha, they didn't like it. Then paid the full price…We definitely won’t go there again!

Unfortunately, the service isn't always the fastest or the friendliest, but the food makes up for everything. Fresh preparation, handmade and a real treat for the palate. Here there is still quality instead of glutamate. It is very busy and you should always reserve in advance. When there's a lot going on, even the inappropriate radio music gets lost - a pan flute or something like that would give the whole thing an exotic touch

Very satisfied! I was invited here for a birthday. The food was tasty and tempting to try. The service is quick and professional, even when I expressed my wish for a dessert with a candle for the birthday child, it was implemented immediately. A clear recommendation!

We ordered spring rolls, chicken bowl and sweet fry potatoes. Spring roll felt like it has been boiled in oil twice after being kept up for sometime or the oil was burnt. Same goes for fries. It was soggy and burnt oil and chicken bowl was bland no spices or salt. Looked nice but taste was horrible. Overall didn’t worth to spend 45 euros on such food.

First to the positive aspects: We ordered 2 starters and 4 main courses for four people, which all tasted quite good and were beautifully served. The big negative point: As you can see in the picture, one of the lettuce leaves was unwashed and there was clearly soil on it. When we pointed this out to the waitress and she discussed it in the kitchen, we were initially lied to about it being pepper. We told her clearly that it wasn't pepper, but earth, you could tell by the color, fineness and structure. She went back and then a cook came who confirmed that it was dirt and apologized. We ended up having the relevant dish canceled. It can certainly happen that a lettuce leaf is not perfectly washed, but being lied to as a customer is outrageous and impossible.

Went to the golden Rice Augsburg on Friday, October 18th at 9:00 p.m. The food was a ten out of ten really very very good. The vegetables weren't sold either, they were really good to firm and the service was very accommodating. The atmosphere was relaxed and quiet, always really nice. The portions are also so large that we were well full. We can wholeheartedly recommend it 😍

The food was incredibly delicious! The portions are large enough and the waitresses are very friendly. The vegan alternatives with Saitan were especially delicious! There is something on the menu for every Asian cuisine lover. Special mention must also be made of the delicious iced tea! The price is a bit high though tastes great! Definitely always worth a visit and all in one, if not the best Asian/Vietnamese in Augsburg!

Like last time, the food was simply delicious and beautifully prepared! The prices are absolutely announced and the ambience is absolutely authentic and beautiful! We discovered many great details in the design of the restaurant during our stay. Our conditions were cheerful and very polite. The only thing we could complain about was the really long time it took for our order to be taken even though we were the first guests!

Honestly, the best Asian place I've ever eaten at!!! Everything tastes fresh and really, really good. The service is very nice and picking it up yourself works great! I have a small point that bothers me a little... If there is a lot going on, you should hire more employees to balance it out and also relieve them. One time I had to wait 15 minutes to pay. But otherwise everything was great! Really recommended!

We expected more. Were disappointed. Sushi just okay. Price performance rather poor. The service staff wasn't very attentive, rather passive, unimportant and not committed, a bit unfriendly - the service staff sat outside and gossiped rather than asking if we needed anything else. How do I scare away an existing customer forever? The restaurant is open from lunchtime to 2:30 p.m. We went to the restaurant today at 1:38 p.m. and were surprised and annoyed not to be served anymore. As always, we knew what we were ordering, but obviously they didn't want to serve us anymore. A lunch to go would have been possible. !? She couldn't explain why this was possible, but we weren't allowed to take any more space. We've always enjoyed coming so far, but today was our last visit. No understanding for today's action without giving a reason.

A really nicely decorated restaurant, which you wouldn't initially expect from the outside. The service was unobtrusive and very polite. The food came quickly and was very tasty. Particularly noteworthy are the spring rolls, which are not the standard that you can buy in the refrigerated section of every Asian store, but are really crispy and delicious. The Cari red curry on the lunch menu was surprisingly manageable in terms of spiciness, otherwise I have great respect for red curries. The Pho has a pleasant, not overpowering and not overly seasoned taste. Tasty and easy to summarize. Regarding drinks, I would like to share a tip that absolutely blew me away. On the drinks menu there is a hibiscus drink flavored with Annis (non-alcoholic aperitif). I would never have ordered this and was surprised at how good it tasted. Definitely try it out!

Great ambience with noise-absorbing ceiling decor. A very rich menu with Asian fusion cuisine. Friendly and prompt service, but unfortunately they hardly came around after the food was served. We sat for a long time in front of empty glasses and you had to ask the waiter at the counter to pay. But it's a high level of complaint because the prices were pleasant.

Leider müssen wir hier eine negative Bewertung abgeben. Wir haben auf der Internetseite nachgesehen wegen der Öffnungszeiten, dort steht Mittag bis 15:00 Uhr geöffnet. Wir sind in der Mittagspause eine halbe Stunde angereist, als wir ankamen um 13:30 Uhr, hieß es, sie haben gerade ihren letzten Gast bedient, da sie um 14:30 schließen. Trotz Bitten und wenig Gästen im Lokal und den falschen Öffnungszeiten auf der Website, wurden wir weg geschickt. Wir hatten unsere Tochter gerade vom KH geholt und sie hat sich gewünscht dorthin zu gehen. Das war das letzte mal.
