I can't recommend eating there as a no go, but I hope something changes there

A nice buffet restaurant with a large selection of Asian dishes including sushi, live cooking and dessert with a chocolate fountain. We have visited here several times and have never been disappointed.

Waiters are rarely seen at the table, so you have to pay attention.

It's always very tasty there. We've been there several times. Such a large selection, you can't eat as much as you'd like. A clear recommendation from me. As I said, always happy.

Fresh food, buffet very large and always plentiful. The whole team seems well organized. Prices justified.

The meat was horrible. Some of them are still raw or not well filleted. The service was only nice at the beginning and when you wanted something new to drink the waiter just looked at you strangely. After eating I personally felt very sick (threw up). The only nice thing is the interior design and the location by the water.

On our second visit, everything tasted great again 👍Thank you for that 🙂

Large selection of everything your heart desires! We drove home full. 😊 However, the service seemed a bit overwhelmed last night. Our empty plates were almost never cleared away. In terms of the ambience, I found it to be a bit quiet as the rooms are very large and the clattering of dishes from the kitchen could be heard throughout. But overall recommended. There is definitely something for everyone (sushi, hot dishes, Mongolian grill, dessert)!

Choice of food (buffet) plentiful, service quick and polite. Only limited parking spaces are available in front of the restaurant. Otherwise great and a next visit is guaranteed.

As always, it was very tasty! Gladly again at any time. A little more choice of less greasy foods would be great. But you always find something :)

The selection is really very good and everything is fresh, whether sushi, freshly fried food or the salads. Unfortunately I have to give deductions in the B grade, because a spontaneous guest joined us who didn't want to eat a buffet, this was only possible with a considerable time delay and afterwards card payment was only possible from 10 euros, which is no longer appropriate for a person a few fried noodles that are on the buffet anyway.

Nice Chinese Mongolian restaurant in the Rostock Wooden Peninsula district. Buffet lovers will find a wide range of options, and the typical a la cart dishes are also served quickly and nicely.

Unfortunately I can only give it 5 stars. You deserve more. Food was very good and a very large selection.

Way too expensive😯😯😯🙈 Ate a small person of small vegetables and only a bite of fried chicken fillet in the buffet and a glass of orange juice, way to pay 30 euros!!! I think he did a double take when he realized I'm not from Germany 🤔 Absolutely do not recommend.

Buffet is fine! There are other restaurants with the same design that have a larger and better quality selection at the same price! Here it is rather "simple" and cost-effective with the highest profit optimization! The question at the beginning whether “cash or card payment” also leaves a questionable aftertaste as to whether all sales are recorded!

Once I was at the lunch buffet with my girlfriend, so my girlfriend took a little more food and the waitress (an old woman) said "it's so much for what you want to pay" with an unfriendly voice! And every minute she checked us with her eyes! We couldn't eat comfortably! All the employees there talk so loudly to each other! We had the worst experiences! Not again!

Prices are medium and the food was delicious... there is even a meat counter where you can choose between fish and chicken or beef and pork and then it is freshly prepared straight away.

It was our first time eating there as a group of five and we were pleasantly surprised. The food was fresh and super tasty. Unfortunately we couldn't try everything because the selection is really huge and it was incredibly hot that day. However, after asking nicely whether they had rooms that were a little cooler, they showed us the rooms at the back, which were actually much more pleasant. Price performance is top. We'd love to come back.

Ordering the table went smoothly. Staff very friendly and accommodating. The food offers plenty of choice (pasta/rice/even potato casserole and gratin...as well as fish/meat/mussels/sushi...various sauces... Grill station...raw food/vegetables...fruit/cake/ice cream/chocolate fountain). For me personally, more oriental (Mongolian) would have been nice...to try. We would still like to come back. You have to look for the parking space...it wasn't that easy. Child-friendly...but I don't know if there is a high chair. I couldn't spot anyone. Handicapped accessible...slanted to the restaurant.

The employee was very unfriendly and you couldn't eat in peace so really no recommendation and a friend of mine had a stomach ache.

We cannot understand the good reviews, the food is not recommended. Everything was very dried out and nothing was refilled after 8 p.m. Price-performance is not right here.

The food is average, the buffet is rich. It's better to stay away from the ice cream. The ice portnieres stand in stale water, so ice gets into the water every time. The staff reacted to the shortage with total disinterest. If the ice cream is handled so unhygienically, who knows what will happen in the kitchen.

All you can eat buffet for €25 per person. Delicious and incredible selection of food. Gladly again. Dogs allowed on the terrace, unfortunately not indoors, but okay.

We are tourists here for four days. This city is amazing and I strongly recommend this restaurant for you especially if you have no idea what you should eat. There are various options available. The food and service are great as well. Food quality and service Everything was very good and the drinks ordered were served promptly. Especially when I was getting seaweed, there was still a little bit left and I picked it up without thinking too much. The sushi guy changed a plate of seaweed and asked me to pick up the new plate. I really felt sorry for him. For the sake of the guests, this behavior is very touching. 🤗My boyfriend has been praising this restaurant and he is very satisfied with the food👍. I hope it will get better and better.

I was invited to dinner and the buffet was rich and varied, but due to the off-peak time at lunchtime, the buffet portions were not yet fully filled, which would certainly be the case in the evening. The drinks were brought to you quite quickly and were at a pleasant drinking temperature, i.e. cool enough, but not so cold that you get short-term brain freeze.

This was my second time here The first time, as a guest, you were definitely looked after better and looked after better... Unfortunately, anyone who likes German-style Asian cuisine is in good hands here. Potato gratin, herb baget and fries is absolutely Asian.

We had pre-booked a table and that was a good thing. We were warmly welcomed and escorted to the table. The service was very friendly and really quick, even though the restaurant was quite full. The food at the buffet was delicious, fresh and was constantly refilled. There was something for every taste, fish (including sushi), meat and salads. The live roasting on the grill was also great. Here you can choose fresh fish, meat and poultry and have them prepared to your liking. Great. We would love to come back here.

Please also take into account the fine of 25-35 € for alleged illegal parking, because even though a parking disc is displayed, it may not be recognized (see other reviews about the parking garage). We would happily pay parking fees like we used to, but under these circumstances we will avoid this lovely restaurant.

We were there with friends and opted for the buffet and were put under worse scrutiny than back in the GDR and the waitress really attacked me because we used too many plates. I took the manager to task and asked him whether guest satisfaction was important to him at all. I cannot recommend this store at all. 0/5 stars if I could Never again.

The service (ordering drinks and paying) was quick and friendly. The ambience is reminiscent of an open-plan canteen and is rather uncomfortable. The cocktail was very tasty. About the buffet: The sushi buffet looked varied. Also the dessert area with chocolate fountain, pudding, fruit, ice cream and cake. The cake and tart were freshly thawed from a well-known brand. The buffet was a colorful mix of typical German and a bit of Chinese cuisine. Unfortunately the pasta and sauces were cold. The meat was also very dry, tough and gristly. Unfortunately, the price-performance ratio here is disappointing. A pity.

**A culinary trip to Asia – Golden Bay inspires!** I had the pleasure of dining at Golden Bay recently and I can safely say that it is one of the best Asian restaurants I have ever visited. As soon as I entered the restaurant I was greeted by a warm and inviting atmosphere that immediately left me wanting more. The service was exceptional - the staff were attentive, friendly and always eager to make our evening unforgettable. Now to the most important thing: the food. The menu at Golden Bay is a treasure trove of Asian cuisine. From delicious sushi creations to fragrant curries to perfectly seasoned wok dishes - there is something here for every taste. Particularly noteworthy is the freshness of the ingredients, which can be felt in every bite. I started my culinary adventure with a starter of crispy spring rolls and a delicate tom yam soup. Both were an excellent start to the evening. For the main course I chose the Pad Thai with shrimp, which impressed with a perfect balance of sweetness, acidity and spiciness. A good, albeit manageable, selection of dishes and desserts with something for everyone. The drinks are reasonably priced and of good quality, and despite being busy, we never had to wait long for them. Since I've now had both, I unfortunately couldn't tell much of a difference between the regular and the special buffet, except of course for the Teppanyaki area.

We thought everything was great together. Sushi was delicious, buffet selection was great, dessert was great The restaurant has a great location on the water and the service was super friendly and attentive. Recommended :-)

An interesting place with oriental dishes, you can relax and eat to your heart's content for less than €25. I recommend it 😄

Delicious. Went to the Chinese/Mongolian buffet on Sunday. Waiter nice. Nice atmosphere. I rolled home from my waist circumference.

The best place to park is at Edeka. We ordered the lunch buffet on Saturday lunchtime. Costs around €20. Not everything is available for lunch. Sometimes there are waiting times until what you want is available at the buffet. There are also some restrictions on sushi. If you want the full selection, you should go in the evening. But it is always very tasty.

We had a buffet. It was okay. A large selection of sushi. Unfortunately, the labeling was missing. But everyone will find what they're looking for. Whether it's fish, duck or chicken. There's also dessert here. Unfortunately, my non-alcoholic cocktail wasn't mine and the sauces for the meal weren't there either mine.

The ambience is appropriate for such a large feed house. Unfortunately, the waitress doesn't do her job with conviction. The food... If you like mostly fried things, this is perfect. Unfortunately, something individual falls by the wayside, such as fish or vegetables that are freshly prepared. Overall, you're eating pretty well so far. Unfortunately for me it is not the first choice because in Berlin the same principle but a more extensive selection of delicacies.

We had a local buffet for lunch. Food was pretty solid for the price. For under €20 all you can eat you shouldn't expect the highest quality. Unfortunately there were no vegetables, only meat, noodles and rice as warm dishes. However, what was offered was delicious!

We were there today for the lunch buffet. As soon as we arrived at the table, the service was there. The explanation of the process was simple. The buffet was rich and it was always freshly refilled immediately. The food was delicious and you can always find something to try. We were very satisfied and went home full and happy. Large buffet (something for everyone) and good service

We've been there a good 6-7 times and the advantage of the buffet is slowly disappearing compared to the same fried same taste of many of the prepared dishes there. In terms of taste, we find it extremely strange to prepare fish and meat on the grill at the same time with identical seasoning. Accordingly, the lamb tastes like salmon. Lots of mass instead of class. The selection of food is very good. Everything from sushi to chocolate fountains is available. As an adult we paid €25/person on a Friday. Children up to 3 years of age probably pay nothing and children up to 12 years of age only pay €13. With the typical Chinese "friendliness" you have to turn a blind eye and try to tolerate it with humor. We're going to take a break for a while now, because sometimes a la carte food tastes much better.

Here the palate encounters a cross-section of Asian cuisine. The selection starts with sushi, a variety of fish dishes and classic Asian dishes. Everything is done buffet-style, but also in individual order upon request. The service is very good, fast and very friendly. The only thing you should take into account is that a charm of system catering wafts through the room. Nevertheless, I would recommend the restaurant as the overall impression was clearly positive.

My expectations were probably a little too high. I was just hoping for more. Yes, the selection was or is large, but nothing special. The waiter was nice and knows his trade. But we won't come by again ourselves.

The food from the buffet was lukewarm and some of the fried things were soggy. And €25 was too expensive for me.

There is a really good buffet here. The ambience is fine. Unfortunately the staff is a bit unfriendly and not particularly attentive. We would still like to come back.

This buffet selection is incredible. There is a chocolate fountain and also a sushi buffet. As desserts there are delicious sweets such as cakes, chocolate and much, much more. There is even ice cream for the children. I am positively surprised and can only recommend it!

Waren das erste mal! Es war alles top ! Werden wir öfters mal spontan essen gehen!

Wir wollten von der Karte Bestellen, hatten keine Lust auf Buffet( es ging zu wie am Schweine Trog!!!!). Die Bedienung sagt: von del Kalte dauan eine Sztuunde...gezwungener Maßen Büfett angedreht bekommen. Es war einfach nur salzig , klebrig und ohne jeden Geschmack. Kann mich den anderen negativen Bewertungen nur anschließen! Pro Person 40 Euro für ein Bier einen absacker und drecks Büfett. Nie wieder ! PS die Toilette war 30 Minuten nach der Öffnung unbetretbar. Da muss jemand den Abend davor schon nichts gemacht haben...

Endlich ein gutes Konzept für Verschwender! Wer die Teller voll lädt, darf per Gramm bezahlen, was er drauf lässt. Das Essen ist gut, viel Auswahl, sogar mit internationalen Salaten, Sushi und Garnelen etc. Man kann so oft zum Buffet gehen, wie man mag. Die Bedienung ist freundlich. Wie sind Wiederholungstäter 😊

An sich OK. Aber es ist ein zu kleines Buffett für so viele Personen. Die Küche, wo man sich Essen anbraten lassen kann, sieht nicht gepflegt aus.. es ist schade, das wenn man zur Tür rein kommt, gleich im Essen steht. Die ‚Bedienung‘ ist zwar sehr freundlich aber ist zu wenig präsent, sodass man nach Getränken fragen könnte. Die Parkplatz Situation ist eher schwierig, obwohl das Parkhaus für 90min nur nicht weit entfernt ist.

Modernisierte Einrichtung. Essen leider wenig frisch. Viel frittierte und in Soße ertränkte gleich schmeckende billig Lebensmittel. Früher große Auswahl, auch an Sushi, heute eher überschaubar. Schokolade im Schoko-Brunnen wird nicht mal fest. Für 20 Euro zwar Quantität aber leider keine Qualität. Schade.

Ich habe schon lange nicht mehr so ein gutes Buffet gesehen. Wirklich alles vorhanden, was man sich wünscht. Plätze ausreichend vorhanden. Preis-/Leistung war o.k. sollte ich wieder mal in Rostock sein, komme ich gern wieder.

Essen, Service und Ambiente ist Standard, aber Samstag Abend sehr voll & laut - erinnerte schon sehr an eine Cafeteria 😒 Kinder ab 10 Jahren (10 !!!!!!!) bezahlen schon den VOLLEN Preis beim Buffet - finde ich sehr heftig 👎 Ansonsten gute Auswahl beim Buffet

Ich war enttäuscht, dass Buffet war sehr "übersichtlich", die warmen Speisen kalt, Sushiangebot kaum vorhanden, Preis- und Leistungsverhältnis fand ich nicht stimmig... leider ! Schade war auch, dass wir für unseren Enkel keine extra Portion Reis mit süss saurer Soße bestellen konnten.

Wir haben vom Buffet gegessen und es war sehr lecker. Man kann sich dort auch was frisch braten lassen. Die Auswahl war sehr vielfältig. Ich fand es nur etwas merkwürdig, dass es Sachen wie Blumenkohl und Brokkoli mit Sauce Hollondaise gab und Kartoffelgratin. Das ist für mich nicht asiatisch. Schade auch, dass das Sushi nicht beschriftet war. So wusste man nicht, ob es Fleisch, Fisch oder vegetarisch war.

Riesige Auswahl, durchweg lecker, nicht immer heiß genug am Buffet.

Für mich bis jetzt immer noch das beste asiatische Restaurant in Rostock mit Buffet in Hinblick auf einer guten Sushi Auswahl.

Schönes Lokal mit einen vielfältigen Buffet zu einem absolut fairen Preis. Wir wurden sehr nett und freundlich empfangen und bedient. Wir können das Lokal uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen.

Ein super Restaurant wo gerade mit dem Buffet Angebot gepunktet wird, reichhaltig und immer volles Angebot. Für Geburtstage eine tolle Adresse. Vorbestellung ist notwendig aber kein muss. 17.30 beginnt der Run auf die begehrten, nicht reservierten Plätze.

Speisen am Buffet gut aber teilweise schon kalt. Ambiente ist wie in einer Bahnhofshalle.

Super lecker . Nichts einzuwenden

Wir hatten am 03.01.2024 reserviert. Nachdem wir 10 Minuten auf die Platzierung gewartet hatten, teilte man uns am Tisch mit das Blindenhunde hier nicht gestattet sind. Darauf hin hat man uns der Gaststätte verwiesen. Gerade in der heutigen Zeit wo alle wegen ausbleiben der Gäste jammern finde ich es .... Der Fakt einen Menschen wegen einer Behinderung zu diskriminieren hat keinen interessiert. Daher wer dort Essen geht unterstützt Diskriminierung in Deutschland.

Ein sehr guter Buffet-Chinese! Super Auswahl, etwas zu teuer!

Wir waren heute (Silvester) hier essen und ich muss dazu sagen ich bin kein Buffet Freund in dem Sinne aber das Essen war echt großartig und der Service trotz der vielen Leute sehr zuvorkommend. Die Getränke sind auch super. Preis/Leistung - überragend ! Danke für das leckere Essen und den tollen Abend.
