Bistro Saigon in Rostock

This little bistro pleasantly surprised me. The food was delicious. The excellent value for money is particularly noteworthy – you get great quality for your money. The selection is also remarkably good and varied for the size of the place. Highly recommended!

The food is decent, but the wait time is a disaster. We ordered at 6 pm and, believe it or not, the delivery arrived 3 hours and 15 minutes later. No apology or explanation. Terrible service. I will definitely never order from there again and strongly advise against it on a Sunday evening.

The food is really delicious, but the delivery times are a serious problem. We've often had to wait a long time through Lieferando. To support the restaurant directly and hope for faster delivery, we ordered through their website this time—with even worse results. Ordered at 7:19 p.m., the estimated delivery time was 45 minutes. It's now 9:38 p.m., almost 10 p.m., and the food still hasn't arrived. When we called after about an hour and a half, the person was friendly, but there was neither an apology nor an explanation for the long delay. Instead, we were immediately offered a soft drink as compensation. A nice gesture, but that doesn't replace a proper explanation or a genuine apology. We wanted dinner, not to wait on a Sunday night for a delivery that was way off the estimated time. In short: Delicious food, but extremely unreliable organization. We've unfortunately never experienced a punctual delivery.

Good value for money, fresh vegetables and friendly service

The food was ordered via Lieferando. The price was well over €50. According to the app, delivery was supposed to take 20-40 minutes. The actual delivery ended up taking well over two hours. The phone call was anything but friendly, and I was already regretting the order. I was already waiting for the delivery driver downstairs, on the street, to avoid a possible missed delivery. He was very abrupt, with no apology or anything like that for the incredibly long delivery time. In my opinion, it's neither worth the money nor the extreme wait of over two hours. Based on my experience, I wouldn't recommend it. What a waste of time and money. I can only advise against this.

The food was good, as expected. Service was very friendly. Prices were very fair. The fried noodles and sushi were good.

The price-performance ratio is always good, and the sushi is delicious! However, the long wait is annoying. 1.5 hours is simply too long!

Unfortunately I can't recommend the food. The meat was quite dry, the rice was overcooked. The sauce was very thick and tasted strange, artificial. The vegetable combination was drowned in the “sauce” and didn’t match the dish. Not cheaper than other bistros. The service was friendly and the atmosphere could be improved. I hope the quality of the food improves.

Food ordered before 5 p.m., delivered at 6:40 p.m., called 3 times later! Explanation: It wouldn't be worth delivering to us! We've already ordered delivery there several times because our zip code is on the flyer! No apology, nothing... You can also lose customers this way

Actually, we were always very satisfied and it was very tasty. We ordered regularly. Then there was a misunderstanding when you asked, you didn't care that something was delivered incorrectly. "We don't deliver a meal. Next time we'll do it." There wasn't even an apology. Thanks for nothing.

Great food and very nice service. Best snack bar that I know in Rostock. I recommend the fried noodles with chicken!

On-time delivery within the specified period. Food was completely bad… Breaded sushi was completely charred, inedible. Fried noodles were very soggy and inedible. Spring rolls just tasted like fat. Way too expensive for that!

Worst ordering service in Rostock, delivery time is not as stated and the food was okay but luke warm. That was the last time, so it's better to order from Tamarine or Bombay (when the water damage has been repaired).

Definitely never again. We ordered there and were bitterly disappointed. The fried noodles had hardly any flavor and the peanut sauce was slightly bitter. The results didn't take long to arrive: stomach cramps, vomiting and diarrhea. Accordingly, we absolutely cannot recommend it. Once and never again.

Positive: very friendly, ordering on site was quick, price is actually okay, but... Unfortunately it didn't taste good. The only good thing was the duck, but everything else was nothing. Not seasoned enough, especially lacking salt. The food was actually supposed to be spicy, but there was hardly any. Also, I couldn't define where the sharpness came from. It wasn't chili powder and fresh chili wasn't used either. It was like eating something blindly without guessing what you were eating. It seemed to me as if they were completely overwhelmed. I feel sorry for the owners because they were very nice. However, I have to be honest and therefore really can't make a recommendation.

One of the best "Chinese shops" I know. You can eat there and have it delivered too.

Leider mussten wir über eine Stunde warten . Das Essen war nichts besonderes und trotzdem so teuer . Es war leider das erste und letzte Mal.

Positiv: Freundlichkeit und Service top/ Menge der Speisen top Negativ:12,50 € für ein Rotes Thai Curry/ das mit Abstand schlechteste Curry meines Lebens. Statt Currypaste wird Farbstoff/Süßstoff... verwendet? Ganz eigenartiger Geschmack Die beiden anderen Gerichte waren ok. Nur jeweils zuviel Speisestärke zum Binden der Sauce benutzt. Alles viel zu kompakt und dickflüssig. Restaurant Preise aber geschmacklich und handwerklich unteres Niveau P.s. die gebratenen Nudeln schmecken

Preislich fair, geschmacklich aber Durchnittlich. OK, aber nichts besonderes. Terminlieferung über Lieferando kam pünktlich und freundlich.

Das Essen ist wirklich lecker, auch wenn der Laden weder von außen noch von innen sonderlich einladend aussieht.

Telefonisch bestätigte Lieferzeit ca. 40 Minuten. Nach über 1 1/2 Stunden ist das essen Immer noch nicht da. Hierher fährt man von dem Restaurant aus Maximal 10 Minuten MIT Ampelverkehr. Nach anrufen wurde nur gesagt es sei auf dem Weg und wieder aufgelegt. Immerhin kam das Essen warm an und der Fahrer hat sich noch entschuldigt Schwache Lieferung.

Ich war erstmal einmal dort, war aber überrascht, ich war zufrieden, freundlich, schnell, das Essen war gut Selbstabholer

Das Thai Curry ist leider eine braune geschmacksneutrale Sauce und der Reis verkocht. Peking Suppe ist ganz gut.

Herausragender Service! Ich habe online ein Getränk zum Essen bestellt, dass vor Ort nicht mehr vorrätig war. Dafür habe ich das Geld zurückerhalten und eine Tafel Schokolade umsonst dazu bekommen. Das Essen war auch lecker. Ich bestelle gerne wieder.

Zu unserem Fazit : das bestellen war unkompliziert und schnell erledigt. Innerhalb von 20-25 min war unser Essen auch schon da ( obwohl es laut App 40min hieß). Das Essen war mehr als lecker und ist einfach nur weiter zu empfehlen !!! Die Portionen sind mehr als ausreichend. Selbst bei großem Hunger blieb bei uns ne Menge über. Wir waren mit dem Lieferanten und der kompletten Abwicklung von Grund auf begeistert ! Verdiente 5 Sterne ( hätte auch noch mehr gegeben) Mfg Familie Wilkens

Der Laden ist leider nicht der sauberste, doch das kann ich verkraften. Die 3 klassischen nudelgerichte die man hier essen kann schmecken vorzüglich. Besonders an nem katertag haben mir die gebratenen Nudeln mit Fleisch schon häufig das Leben gerettet. Ich kann jedem empfehlen sich nicht durch die Speisekarte zu experimentieren, die Saucen und Suppen sind sehr dickflüssig und haben eine schleimige Konsistenz. Wenn man das isst, was die hier kochen können, dann hat man zu nem guten Preis ein echt leckere Essen.

Sehr freundlich und liebevolles Personal. Schnelle Bedienung. Geschmacklich ein Reinfall. Ente minderwertig im Vergleich zu anderen Asia Bistros. Am schlimmsten die Erdnusssoße - nehmt sie von der Karte. Ambiente im Bistro nicht schön.

Super Preis/Leistung. Es fehlen nur noch die Back Bananen im Menü

Preis- / Leistungsverhältnis super. Viel frisches Gemüse, Fleisch und Meeresfrüchte hochwertig und gut zubereitet. Lieferzeit war etwas lange, aber die gebackene Ente noch total knusprig! Wirklich empfehlenswert!
