Nice restaurant, great menu and very friendly staff.

Overall it was fine. The prices are a bit overpriced. The staff seemed overwhelmed and forgetful, but always tried hard. The ambience left a lot to be desired. Our window seat was inconvenient as we had to sit next to each other. The door kept opening and closing, accompanied by an annoying squeak. In addition, it wasn't particularly warm, so cool air kept coming in. The chairs were hard and small - unfortunately unsuitable for taller people. Too bad!

Tasty Neapolitan style pizza, I liked it, but the drinks are pricey.

Food was good. The waitress was unfriendly and gossiped about other guests to build sympathy (?), but that usually had the opposite effect.

Gold of Naples has the best pizza of the restaurants I know in Aachen. The crust and base are crispy and delicious and the tomato sauce also has an excellent taste. It's nice to sit in and the service is good and friendly.

I went because I wanted to try the gluten-free pizza with pistachio cream and buffalo mozzarella, but unfortunately there was no gluten-free dough left. So I ordered chicken breast salad with buffalo mozzarella and parmesan, it tasted very good. It's best to call beforehand to ask if gluten-free dough is available.

Excellent! Simply excellent! The best Neapolitan pizzeria in Aachen and the surrounding area. Everything is correct. Everything perfect. Correct dough, processed correctly. Perfect covering.

Nice place to have a nice meal. Democratic awards. Limoncello Spritz had little taste and seemed to contain little alcohol. I could work here for an hour after dinner.

I love Gold of Naples! The pizza is simply unbeatable, especially the student pizza on Thursday and Friday is super delicious. The service is always great, but special praise goes to Natasha: she was really warm and made the visit even more pleasant.

Was für eine Enttäuschung. Die schlechteste Pizza die ich je gegessen habe. Es ist mir unbegreiflich wie so eine schlechte Pizzeria bereits 3 Restaurants haben kann. Teuer, schlechter Teig, schlecht belegt, nicht schmackhaft. 1x und nie wieder. Wenn sie sich damit rühmen eine echte, napolitanische Pizza zu machen, dann bitte machen sie das auch. Soweit zum Produkt. Wir haben 2 Pizza`s bestellt, der Herr am Telefon war sehr freundlich und die Pizza`s wurden auch zum genannten Zeitpunkt fertig. Der Rest wie beschrieben.

I had pizza with my friend in the restaurant today and all I can say is that the evening was perfect thanks to our waiter Adil! He was super friendly, attentive and always had a funny saying, which made the atmosphere pleasant and relaxed. Adil took a lot of time to make sure we weren't missing anything and his recommendations were absolutely top! Rarely experienced such great service! Thank you very much, Adil, for the perfect evening – we will definitely be back!

Wir wollten gemütlich mal eine leckere Pizza essen und der Kellner empfahl uns, auf der ersten Etage einen Tisch zu nehmen. Nach dem Aperol Aperitif und der Vorspeise bestellten wir die Pizzen und eine Flasche Wein. Dann kam eine große Gruppe rein. Es waren 12 Personen. Eine Reisegruppe, die eine Schnitzeljagd durch Aachen machten. Sie nahmen die letzten Tische auf der ersten Etage ein. Die Leitung brüllte quer über die Etage, erzählte über Aachen. Es war extrem laut. Die ganze Gruppe aß eine Pizza und alle hatten wohl ein Getränk. Die Lautstärke war nicht mehr auszuhalten. Es wurde richtig ungemütlich. Der Kellner berichtete, dass es heute schon die 2 Gruppe sei. Aber ehrlich gesagt hatten wir einen Bon von knapp 100 Euro. Die Reisegruppe lag mit Sicherheit mit 1 Pizza und 12 Softdrinks deutlich darunter. Als wir fertig waren, verließ die Gruppe lautstark das Restaurant. Alleibe das man sich dann über 2 Etagen unterhielt, Zitat ich muss noch Pippi, war abenteuerlich. Die Gruppen kommen wohl täglich. Für uns ein Grund, nicht mehr zu kommen. Das hält man nämlich nicht aus. Ein Rummelplatz.

The first impression was very positive: the staff was friendly, attentive and got us to a table quickly. The service was really top! Orders were taken quickly and our drinks arrived quickly. Unfortunately I can't say the same about the pizza. It looked good visually, but I was absolutely disappointed in the taste. The tomato sauce was bland, felt completely unseasoned and the ingredients didn't seem particularly high quality. Unfortunately, the cheese was also far too solid and lacked the flavor that you would expect for such an expensive dish. Overall the pizza lacked seasoning and quality. Absolutely not worth the price.

Good food, the furnishings are showing their age and seem thrown together

The pizza was burnt on the bottom, not a real Neapolitan pizza. The quality of the ingredients was good but the preparation was not.

The pizza tastes delicious but the prices are too high. The pizzas are also quite small and 16-18€ is already steep. In addition, the edge of one pizza was completely burnt.

What? Should the dough rest for 72 hours? Had a well-running pizzeria! I'm retired now!! The boss obviously misheard, the pizza tastes best when the dough is 3-4 hours old and not days! 72 hours is already dangerous to your health. The shop in Oberforstbach isn't open yet and has already lost its first customer!!!!!

Unfortunately a disappointment. Completely burnt pizza. Not only were there a few dark spots, but 90% of the pizza was burned pitch black. However, it is incomprehensible how one could hand out an obviously black pizza to the customer. Unfortunately, for the sake of our health, we had to throw them away. Service Issues - Long wait time: 1.5h at 10pm, despite low occupancy - Poor compensation: Offered dessert for 2 people (group of 3) Food - They gave us badly cooked pizza while I remember the pizza was good only 2 years ago. It gave us food sickness. Conclusion - Significant decline in both service and food quality - Never returning

I had one of the best pizzas I've ever had here, but the lack of quality control is terrible and their results aren't always reproducible. The pizza you get can suffer from any of these issues: - Cardboard dough - Lack of toppings - Unevenly cooked with one area being severely hard and another being severely raw and sticky Now, if you're really lucky, your pizza is flawless, the texture is just right, and the ingredients just melt in your mouth, and the pizza you get is world-class top-notch.

Typical system catering. Looks good but only run by semi-skilled kitchen staff and not a real chef. Not even from an Italian. Pizzas have soggy bottoms and burnt spots on top. It may be that this is typical for Naples. This is atypical for the rest of Italy. The ingredients were good but not great. Quality like in a supermarket but just not Italian. We often go to the Italian restaurant right next door. But it was full there, so Gold of Naples. We also had pizzas brought to us. They were burned to a pulp and we wanted to know if that was from the delivery. Unfortunately no. The pizzas in the restaurant also taste the same as if they were delivered from the delivery service.

It's okay, you can do it. But certainly not Neapolitan pizza. Too bad

My personal pizza number 1 in Aachen! Very juicy and good ingredients and gave us a quick bedtime pizza even after the store closed. The ambience is also nice and you can sit well inside and outside.

Very tasty Neapolitan pizzas. You really can't say anything about €5 for a student pizza. The other pizzas are a little more expensive but very tasty.

Leider eine Enttäuschung. Vollkommen verbrannte Pizza. Es waren nicht nur vereinzelt dunkle Stellen, sondern 90% der Pizza pechschwarz verbrannt. 1 Stern vergebe ich gerne für die gut gelungene Pizza Magharita. Allerdings ist es unbegreiflich wie man eine offensichtlich schwarze Pizza an den Kunden aushändigt. Leider mussten wir diese zum Wohle unserer Gesundheit wegschmeißen. Schade. Die Bewertung wird durch den Eigentümer gelöscht, weil er sich offensichtlich in seinem Persönlichkeitsrecht angegriffen sieht. Sehr unseriös. Absolut keine Empfehlung! Unprofessionell und wir werden hier nichts mehr bestellen.

We stopped there briefly during an Eat the World Tour. Very small pieces of Margherita pizza were served. The pizza was delicious, but we missed the Italian atmosphere...

Especially on Pontstrasse, I like to sit inside on the gallery of the partially gutted old building and enjoy a gluten-free pizza and a delicious gin and tonic (even if, unfortunately, not all of the drinks on offer are always available). For a quick pizza at home, the Gold of Naples on Eupener Str. is cheaper for us. There's a lot going on there at lunchtime, especially during school hours. It's best to pre-order online for collection. The staff in both branches range from “a bit sleepy but hard working” to top!

The pizzas are good. It’s generous and the dough is just as thin as it should be. On the other hand, the Cannellonis were disappointing compared to the price. The staff is welcoming 👍I didn't like the rosé wine. Service a little slow on weekends.

When we stopped at Gold of Naples we had spent almost four hours driving from Spa-Francorchamps (a trip that should have taken less than 90 minutes). We were ready to eat our own arms and were DELIGHTED to find Gold of Naples open. Although it was already close to their closing time, they let us sit down and enjoy our delicious pizza onsite. Their Buffalo mozzarella pizza and pizza bread were absolutely amazing. We even ended up meeting another couple who had had a similar hell drive from Spa (who also enjoyed their dinner) thanks to the friendly pizza hosts at Gold of Naples.

The salad was super fresh. Ingredients all of the finest quality. Great taste. Quantity could be smaller.

This is supposed to be like official Italian authorized pizza. And it's good, and maybe official, but didn't taste all that drastically different from other places. I split with the wife and we had plenty. Just one thing, I don't know why it's so difficult to get water around here, with the massive surplus of it seemingly everywhere, but it's hard to get enough and it's NEVER free, so I've resorted to just bringing my own. I hope it's not rude!

Tastes good but 18€ for something like 25-28cm pizza? Come on. I was hungry 2 hours after eating the pizza.

The pizza dough was very good and had a high edge. I ate the vegetarian one which was exceptional. The pizzas chosen by those who were with me were also good and all very well topped.

Insanely good pizza! Large selection and very customizable! Service is very friendly. Unfortunately, the tables are very close together, which makes it very loud. Overall, still highly recommended! Reservation recommended. Tip: You can also order food from Tangente (a bar nearby).

This is a very authentic Naples pizza shop. They don’t have pineapple pizza or Hawaiian style pizza, so please feel free to order. The edges of the pizza rise very high, it is baked until it is slightly mushy, and the bottom of the pizza is springy and delicious. We ordered two pizzas, ham and cheese and pistachio and ham. As you can see, the ham and cheese flavor has a little bit of chili pepper. It is very fragrant and slightly spicy. Friends who can't eat spicy food can feel free to try it. The pistachio ham has a very special flavor. You will be amazed at the first bite. There are really many pistachios. In addition to the chopped pistachios, the pizza crust is covered with pistachio sauce, so it will be very greasy after eating. It needs to be eaten with drinks/coffee. The espresso is very fragrant, and a cup of it fills your mouth with fragrance after a meal. (Drinking it at night may affect your sleep)

We tasted German white wine along with vegi pizza and margarita buffalo pizza. The pizzas were really nice with their thin crust and delicious ingredients. We enjoyed very much due to the beauty of its location in this place.

I don't understand the hype about this store. Maybe we were unlucky with our order but the dough for my salami pizza was slimy and tasted extremely raw. I had original frozen pizzas that were better and made me feel less bad. My girlfriend's pizza was completely dry and tasted bad, and the cheese had an extremely pungent taste. Really not a special or good meal by any stretch of the imagination

Very friendly service and the customer comes first. Coincidentally, when ordering we said that we were going to share the pizzas and when we were served them they had already placed the pizza on the plates 50/50, really great! Food is delicious. The pizza itself was very tasty. I'm just wondering who thought of putting these huge raw tuna strips on the pizza and then charging €16 for them. Other pizzas are definitely great, but the tuna pizza was a bad joke.

The four of us were on the first floor. It's quite nice to sit there, but it is very warm, the pizza oven (almost 500 degrees) does its job. The 4 different pizzas were very tasty; the salami pizza was a bit sparsely topped, that's just the way it is with a salami pizza. The prices are slightly higher than average, but for that you get a delicious fresh pizza. The four of us spent €110 for 4 pizzas with 2 drinks per person. We will definitely come back here again.

Located in the heart of Ponstrasse, Gold of Naples initially seemed promising with its vibrant location and inviting ambience. However, my dining experience fell short of expectations. While the ambience was pleasant, the lack of sufficient staff significantly impacted service, resulting in lengthy delays throughout the evening. The limited number of staff members struggled to keep up with the demands of a busy night, leading to frustration among patrons. Despite the friendly demeanor of the staff, the overall service was hindered by the shortage of personnel. Moreover, the taste of the pizza failed to impress, lacking the authentic flavors one would expect from a traditional Neapolitan restaurant. To add to the disappointment, the prices were higher than anticipated, considering the underwhelming quality of the food and service. Additionally, the non-alcoholic drink options were lackluster, failing to complement the meal. Overall, while Gold of Naples has potential with its prime location and pleasant ambience, the lack of adequate staffing, mediocre food quality, and high prices leave much to be desired.

We have been to the Gold of Naples from time to time before, but this time it was particularly pleasant. We had an antipasti platter as a starter, which unfortunately lacked any side dishes. But that was the only drawback we had that evening. The ambience is nice, subtle and has a warm atmosphere. The service was really top notch! The waiters are friendly, polite and have a very relaxed manner. It's a masterpiece how often they run up and down the stairs. In 5 minutes a waiter who had served us walked up and down eleven times and sang to himself the whole time.
