Great restaurant with great Asian food - we always like to come back 😋

We were there on a Friday and loved the authentic food. We really liked both the starter and the main course. The waiting time for the food was completely fine. We'll definitely be back.

The best restaurant for traditional Chinese cuisine in Ulm. The dumplings are a MUST for every visit! Price/performance ratio is also good.

The food there was really delicious and the price was completely reasonable! The waiter was nice, but it took a while until we had our food, even though there was only one other table occupied besides us. Nevertheless, we really liked it and tasted really good! The restaurant is beautifully decorated inside and you can also sit outside.

Food in general is actually really good...if you can get some. We spent 10 minutes enjoying the surroundings in the garden, but then left because we got hungry and weren't interested in what the waitress (male, without gender! 😊) had to say via facetime. Now sitting at the nearest ramen colleague 😉👍🏼 Thanks! .... (for nothing...)

Unfortunately, dinner was a disappointment. 1. There is no more sushi 2. We waited 30 minutes for the waiter 3. We waited 25 minutes for the starter (5 mini spring rolls) 4. We waited 45 minutes for food number 1. 5. We waited 20 minutes longer for food 2. 6. Before food 2 arrived I wanted the bill and it came when food 2 was half eaten. 7. In terms of taste, it was a complete failure for us, but that's a matter of taste I can't explain what was going on today or how the great reviews came about.

Absolutely terrible experience. There was a male waiter who was shockingly rude to us. The entire indoor restaurant area was completely empty, so we chose a table and sat down, minding our own business. Out of nowhere, this waiter rushed over and told us in a harsh tone that we weren't allowed to sit there. When we asked him why, he didn't even have the decency to look me in the eye. Instead, he continued chatting with another waiter, blatantly ignoring us as if we didn't even exist. His behavior was not only disrespectful but completely unprofessional. This encounter ruined my entire night, leaving me feeling humiliated and angry. I don't want anyone else to have to go through such an awful experience. This kind of treatment is unacceptable and needs to be addressed immediately.

Definitely the worst dining experience ever... Not sure if it's Asian-specific experience, the owner or just who claimed to be the owener behaved like a racist

I've eaten here several times. From noodle boxes to dishes like Bibibamp, everything is delicious. The service has been great so far. I would love to come back here again and again.

I went there for lunch with a friend for the first time and we were really surprised. We both had the bibimbap with tofu and it was really tasty and highly recommended. The only thing I have to complain about is that we had to wait a long time for the food, but the conditions were still very nice.

Neither fast, nor cheap, nor good Go offer. I stood in the store unattended for 20 minutes and then left. Noodle boxes only at lunchtime and there's nothing else that you know/that's cheap. sorry, absolutely not my business. Edit: You must be mistaken, I really wasn't able to place an order, but if the noodle boxes are offered all day long I'll be happy to come by and test them again. I would prefer to give it 4.5 stars. Unfortunately, the first impression wasn't too good, we had to wait half an hour without drinks until we could order. In addition, the seating in the restaurant is not very comfortable (you sit very low). There are also cocktail vouchers for (unfortunately) Google reviews, which could distort the rating picture - but that's not actually necessary here. What really matters, namely the food, is really really good, and you can find a lot of things on the menu that you wouldn't otherwise find so easily (in Germany), such as unagi (eel). We were also apologized for the delayed order. But the food made up for the first bad impression. We'll definitely be back, the menu is very exciting. A little tip for substitute visitors: the restaurant is also represented in the Schlemmerblock.

Went there spontaneously as a couple and got a place for about 1.5 hours (completely sufficient). Food came quickly and was very tasty. One point of criticism: the mochi ice cream for dessert for around €7 is not good value for money. I think 2 balls are too expensive for the price.

Everything is delicious, whether ramen, hot pot or salmon and I can only recommend the fried pudding for dessert! When the boss isn't there, the service is a bit sloppy.

We regularly spend our girls' nights here and eat our way through the menu. The cuisine is so different from what we know from other Chinese restaurants, every dish actually has a different taste, meat that should be soft melts in your mouth, what should be crispy is the same. Everything tastes fresh, intense, different. There is no flavor enhancer! And you notice that. It is only cooked with natural ingredients. A heavy over-saturated feeling after eating? None! Service is very good. The boss takes time for every guest (no matter how tiring) and makes everyone happy. She explains the dishes, how to prepare them, and gives advice. Always very calm, polite, with a smile. We really enjoy going here and always look forward to the delicious food. My favorite: the duck, the pork ribs, the salmon, hot pot Come and enjoy 😉

I wasn't actually a big fan of Asian food until my first visit here, but it tasted really good here. The service was extremely friendly and attentive. The ambience and seating distribution is rather generous, which I really welcome.

You get a little something free (starters) if you rate the restaurant well. That's probably where all the good reviews come from. So the food is not exciting. It tastes like normal Chinese food. However, the boss is very likeable

First of all: We can't say anything about the food because we left again. We wanted to eat here on a Sunday afternoon, not the usual meal time. There were only two tables occupied in the entire restaurant. There were two of us with our baby. When we wanted to sit with the little one at a table for four with benches, as this is a good place to put the little one in his baby safe, we were asked to sit at a table for two. With so little flexibility and understanding for a family, we left again. According to reviews, the food is said to be very good, but there are plenty of other good restaurants in Ulm. Regarding your answer: Since we were already at another restaurant shortly after 5 p.m. to which we first had to drive, it is not the case that we were at your place at 5:20 p.m. And a reservation or tight time could have been pointed out. There was definitely no reserved sign on the tables.

The atmosphere is very nice👍The proprietress is born in the 1980s, and the music played in the store is the favorite music of the 80s generation. It would be better if the rice portions were larger.

The Gohan restaurant in Ulm offers an excellent selection of ramen and Asian fusion cuisine. The atmosphere is welcoming and the staff is friendly and attentive. The dishes are freshly prepared and offer a successful mix of taste and quality. We particularly recommend the homemade ramen, which is authentic and delicious. Overall, a fantastic dining experience that I would recommend to anyone looking for good food in Ulm!

Well I have to be honest, I've tried a lot of ramen but this is the best ramen ever! This shop will be my favorite place in the future, beautifully cozy furnishings, cozy restaurant in the area. Very nice staff and if you didn't know something on the order card, you were explained exactly. The boss pays close attention to ensuring that all the guests are satisfied, I noticed that very much. I will definitely recommend it to my friends. Thanks to the owner for the great place, despite the full house.

Were there this evening and were very happy with the food and also with the hard-working service. She was alone and took orders, made the drinks and served them. Still didn't have to wait long. We had a starter together and with the main course it was very plentiful. I will definitely come back as there are still many delicious dishes to try there.

To my taste, the noodles were overcooked. Pak Choi had no leaves 🥺 and as if there weren't enough ingredients.

There were two of us there and we ate ramen and salmon on rice. The food was delicious, it was served quite quickly, everything was fresh! We liked the atmosphere. We will happily go there again. The negative point is that the restaurant buys positive applications. 5 stars = 5% discount. It wouldn't be necessary.

We were absolutely positively surprised. The food was really good - really all the dishes. And also typically Asian. My husband has been to Asia many times and knows what he is talking about. The service was also very good and the atmosphere was typically Asian.

Nice atmosphere, top service and great food - we were completely satisfied and had nothing to complain about. For main courses we had fried chicken and bibimbap. For dessert, a Dragon Ball - one of my best desserts recently. We will be back definitely!

Sehr netter und flotter Service. Frisches leckeres Essen. Wir hatten zur Vorspeise die Gyoza und frittierte Garnele, zum Hauptgang den Tofu und das japanische Hähnchen. We order 2 Ramens and another dish , through Uber Eats. We only got the Ramens. The quality of the soup was not good. Beef was full of nerves and hard fibers. The broth was very salty. and the vegetables cut super thick and coarse. It's not a place I would recommend for ramen soup.

Super authentisches asiatisches Essen. Die beste WanTan Suppe die ich jemals gegessen habe und eine super Auswahl an asiatischen Köstlichkeiten. Es könnte allerdings sein das nicht jeder was findet aber wenn man die asiatischen Esskultur liebt wird man definitiv nicht enttäuscht ❤️

Das Essen ist sehr gut zubereitet und es gibt eine große Auswahl traditioneller Gerichte :). Die Stimmung ist einladend mit weichem Licht. Besonders schätze ich die Bedienung und den Kundenservice. Man merkt dass ihnen jeder Kunde am Herzen liegt und sie ihren Job lieben. Komme immer wieder gerne und finde immer etwas neues, dass ich probieren möchte. ^^

Vorab das Essen war hervorragend. Die Einrichtung war nett. Was uns störte, war: - die zwei Servicekräfte agierten nur sehr langsam. Sie waren super freundlich, es musste aber auf alles lange gewartet werden (Getränke, Bestellung, Bezahlen). Bei vielen Gästen wäre das ganz normal und verständlich, bei einem allerhöchstens halbvollen Laden ist dies schwierig. - aus uns unerfindlichen Gründen lief erst keine und dann später, mit Unterbrechungen ( zu laute) orientalische Musik, dies passt aus unserer Sicht weder zum Ambiente noch zum Stil eines chinesischen Restaurants. Es hatte damit die Atmosphäre eines Imbisses.

2 von 4 Essen waren ganz okay. Die anderen 2 kaum essbar. Wir sind eigentlich gekommen um Sushi zu essen, haben uns dann eben an den angebotenen Gerichten versucht. C8 AUF GAR KEINEN FALL eine Empfehlung wert! 4 Tiger Garnelen, die man erst noch selbst schälen muss (die ganze Marinade ist damit ab und ein Teller für die Schalen gab's auch nicht 🤷🏼‍♀️) und dann 2 Hände voll getrockneter Peperoni, die sich kaum beißen ließen mit einer halben Hand voll Gemüse und Ner kleinen Schüssel Reis. Und das Ganze für 21€! Geht gar nicht! Wir haben offen der Bedienung unsere Meinung gesagt und was wir als verbesserungswürdig halten. Mal sehen was der Betreiber daraus macht. Ganz ehrlich: Es wäre unserer Meinung nach besser gewesen, wenn der Sushi-Meister beim Sushi geblieben wäre, als dass mehr warme Gerichte auf die Karte zu setzen und dafür das Sushi zu streichen. Das ist leider ein Schritt in die falsche Richtung gewesen. Echt schade. Wir kommen vielleicht nochmal wieder, ob unsere Kritik angenommen wurde. Wenn nicht, dann können wir leider nicht mehr wieder kommen :-(

Das Restaurant hat ein tolles Ambiente. Auch das Essen war wirklich ausgezeichnet. Das Einzige was mich ein wenig gestört hat, war die etwas lange Wartezeit. Das liegt vermutlich am Fachkräftemangel. Auf alle Fälle kann ich das Restaurant sehr empfehlen und werde wieder hingehen.
