When we go out for Asian food, we usually expect the same taste. We were so positively surprised here! We both had a taste explosion. Three flavors on one plate. The salta with the dressing, the meat with its seasoning and the sauce on the rice. Keep it up. Fantastic.

Top authentic Asian cuisine, I can recommend everything we've eaten here so far without hesitation. The friendly boss used to be at Zero Up, back then it was already the best Asian restaurant in Ulm and that's still the case with Gohan...

I was there for the first time today with my boyfriend. We once ordered a Korean dish and a Chinese dish. Both dishes were very tasty. The service was very nice. The ambience is also very cute and attractively decorated in Japanese style. I would definitely recommend it!

As always, the food was delicious, the service ladies are always very friendly and always have a smile. Gladly again.

Very nice here - good selection on the menu

We had dinner for two on a Saturday evening and made a reservation beforehand. The restaurant was mostly full but the noise was very pleasant. It took a little longer before we could order, but that didn't bother us. But our food was brought to the table even quicker. The service was very friendly and the food tasted very good. Clear recommendation from us :)

We go to Gohan at least once every week because the authentic Chinese food is amazing and the price is right too! For lunch, be sure to try the Bento Box with the vegetarian food and the Chef Special. Really good Chinese home cooking!

We have made a serious mistake here this evening. We ordered through uber eats. The order took forever. 1.5 hours. 3 different ramen. The description said it came with an egg. For us, every good ramen definitely includes an egg. This was missing, in all three ramens, by the way. The meat - beef was really disgustingly fatty. Overall, the food didn't smell tasty or appealing at all. In addition, everything is in plastic cups, I beg you? Is there no other option these days? But okay, you can ignore that. No reason not to order again. The vegetables were really hard, the broccoli had something strange and black about it. The boss said it was part of the soup. Okay, we'll put up with that, but how can you excuse a missing egg, the meat was far too fatty and, to make matters worse, the pak choi was wilted. It was partly yellowish to brown. The boss justifies all of this by saying that it's a bad taste and the pak choi has taken on the color of the soup? So sorry? When a customer calls me and complains about these facts, the first thing I do is apologize and find a solution? Instead, everything is blamed on us and only poorly justified? That was the only and last time we will eat here. It's a disgrace to charge €16.50 for something like this. We would like our money back please. There were definitely no eggs. We didn't invent that and no, it's no fun to spend €55 and throw it all away because of inferior quality. We are stunned that even this is not believed. Unfortunately, this only confirms what we have already established above, that everything is denied. Sad

Outrageous, I order food for almost €50 and after almost over 2 hours I get cold food that doesn't even taste good. Never again, I don't recommend anyone.

We were there on a Friday and loved the authentic food. We really liked both the starter and the main course. The waiting time for the food was completely fine. We'll definitely be back.

The best restaurant for traditional Chinese cuisine in Ulm. The dumplings are a MUST for every visit! Price/performance ratio is also good.

The food there was really delicious and the price was completely reasonable! The waiter was nice, but it took a while until we had our food, even though there was only one other table occupied besides us. Nevertheless, we really liked it and tasted really good! The restaurant is beautifully decorated inside and you can also sit outside.

Food in general is actually really good...if you can get some. We spent 10 minutes enjoying the surroundings in the garden, but then left because we got hungry and weren't interested in what the waitress (male, without gender! 😊) had to say via facetime. Now sitting at the nearest ramen colleague 😉👍🏼 Thanks! .... (for nothing...)

Unfortunately, dinner was a disappointment. 1. There is no more sushi 2. We waited 30 minutes for the waiter 3. We waited 25 minutes for the starter (5 mini spring rolls) 4. We waited 45 minutes for food number 1. 5. We waited 20 minutes longer for food 2. 6. Before food 2 arrived I wanted the bill and it came when food 2 was half eaten. 7. In terms of taste, it was a complete failure for us, but that's a matter of taste I can't explain what was going on today or how the great reviews came about.

Absolutely terrible experience. There was a male waiter who was shockingly rude to us. The entire indoor restaurant area was completely empty, so we chose a table and sat down, minding our own business. Out of nowhere, this waiter rushed over and told us in a harsh tone that we weren't allowed to sit there. When we asked him why, he didn't even have the decency to look me in the eye. Instead, he continued chatting with another waiter, blatantly ignoring us as if we didn't even exist. His behavior was not only disrespectful but completely unprofessional. This encounter ruined my entire night, leaving me feeling humiliated and angry. I don't want anyone else to have to go through such an awful experience. This kind of treatment is unacceptable and needs to be addressed immediately.

I've eaten here several times. From noodle boxes to dishes like Bibibamp, everything is delicious. The service has been great so far. I would love to come back here again and again.

We were here for lunch and ate a bento box. The food was tasty, but unfortunately not hot. The service was very friendly.

I would prefer to give it 4.5 stars. Unfortunately, the first impression wasn't too good, we had to wait half an hour without drinks until we could order. In addition, the seating in the restaurant is not very comfortable (you sit very low). There are also cocktail vouchers for (unfortunately) Google reviews, which could distort the rating picture - but that's not actually necessary here. What really matters, namely the food, is really really good, and you can find a lot of things on the menu that you wouldn't otherwise find so easily (in Germany), such as unagi (eel). We were also apologized for the delayed order. But the food made up for the first bad impression. We'll definitely be back, the menu is very exciting. A little tip for substitute visitors: the restaurant is also represented in the Schlemmerblock.

Went there spontaneously as a couple and got a place for about 1.5 hours (completely sufficient). Food came quickly and was very tasty. One point of criticism: the mochi ice cream for dessert for around €7 is not good value for money. I think 2 balls are too expensive for the price.

We regularly spend our girls' nights here and eat our way through the menu. The cuisine is so different from what we know from other Chinese restaurants, every dish actually has a different taste, meat that should be soft melts in your mouth, what should be crispy is the same. Everything tastes fresh, intense, different. There is no flavor enhancer! And you notice that. It is only cooked with natural ingredients. A heavy over-saturated feeling after eating? None! Service is very good. The boss takes time for every guest (no matter how tiring) and makes everyone happy. She explains the dishes, how to prepare them, and gives advice. Always very calm, polite, with a smile. We really enjoy going here and always look forward to the delicious food. My favorite: the duck, the pork ribs, the salmon, hot pot Come and enjoy 😉

You get a little something free (starters) if you rate the restaurant well. That's probably where all the good reviews come from. So the food is not exciting. It tastes like normal Chinese food. However, the boss is very likeable

First of all: We can't say anything about the food because we left again. We wanted to eat here on a Sunday afternoon, not the usual meal time. There were only two tables occupied in the entire restaurant. There were two of us with our baby. When we wanted to sit with the little one at a table for four with benches, as this is a good place to put the little one in his baby safe, we were asked to sit at a table for two. With so little flexibility and understanding for a family, we left again. According to reviews, the food is said to be very good, but there are plenty of other good restaurants in Ulm. Regarding your answer: Since we were already at another restaurant shortly after 5 p.m. to which we first had to drive, it is not the case that we were at your place at 5:20 p.m. And a reservation or tight time could have been pointed out. There was definitely no reserved sign on the tables.

The atmosphere is very nice👍The proprietress is born in the 1980s, and the music played in the store is the favorite music of the 80s generation. It would be better if the rice portions were larger.

The Gohan restaurant in Ulm offers an excellent selection of ramen and Asian fusion cuisine. The atmosphere is welcoming and the staff is friendly and attentive. The dishes are freshly prepared and offer a successful mix of taste and quality. We particularly recommend the homemade ramen, which is authentic and delicious. Overall, a fantastic dining experience that I would recommend to anyone looking for good food in Ulm!

Well I have to be honest, I've tried a lot of ramen but this is the best ramen ever! This shop will be my favorite place in the future, beautifully cozy furnishings, cozy restaurant in the area. Very nice staff and if you didn't know something on the order card, you were explained exactly. The boss pays close attention to ensuring that all the guests are satisfied, I noticed that very much. Were there this evening and were very happy with the food and also with the hard-working service. She was alone and took orders, made the drinks and served them. Still didn't have to wait long. We had a starter together and with the main course it was very plentiful. I will definitely come back as there are still many delicious dishes to try there.

To my taste, the noodles were overcooked. Pak Choi had no leaves 🥺 and as if there weren't enough ingredients.
