Der zufällige Besuch im Glücklich war ein unvergessliches und überraschendes Erlebnis im wunderschönen Trier! Obwohl wir nicht reserviert hatten, sondern spontan mit 16 Personen in das charmante kleine Restaurant platzten, sorgte das wunderbare Personal dafür, dass wir einen unvergesslichen Abend verbrachten. Sie servierten uns eine Auswahl ihrer köstlichen Tapas, eine besser als die andere. Dazu gab es einen hervorragenden Wein (Rioja). Zum Abschluss erwartete uns ein himmlisches Dessert, sodass wir unser Abendessen sogar noch etwas nach Ladenschluss genießen konnten. Vielen Dank!

Das Glücklich ist ein faszinierender Ort. Die Küche geht mit derselben Sorgfalt und Hingabe an ihre Speisen heran wie ein Künstler an sein Werk. Die im gesamten Restaurant ausgestellten Kunstwerke verleihen dem Erlebnis eine zusätzliche Dimension und erinnern einen stets daran, dass man sich nicht nur in einem Restaurant, sondern auch in einer Kunstgalerie befindet. Darüber hinaus ist das Personal außergewöhnlich herzlich. Sie wechseln mühelos zwischen verschiedenen Sprachen und tun dies immer mit einem Lächeln. Die Kombination aus exzellentem Essen, Kunst und echter Gastfreundschaft macht diesen Ort zu etwas ganz Besonderem. Ohne Zweifel ist es mein Lieblingsrestaurant in Trier. **Ich kann den San-Sebastian-Käsekuchen wärmstens empfehlen! Der beste, den ich je gegessen habe!**

Die Tortilla war wirklich nicht lecker, und die hauchdünne Jamón-Garnitur mit der kleinen Essiggurke passte einfach nicht zusammen. Die Beschreibung zu lesen dauerte länger als zu essen. Vielleicht sollten sie doch einen richtigen Koch einstellen? Die Fischsuppe war ganz gut, aber sie war nicht hausgemacht. Die Atmosphäre wirkte etwas künstlerisch-kitschig. Die Speisekarte war viel zu lang.

Ein kleines Juwel in Trier. Wir genossen verschiedene schmackhafte und köstliche Tapas in einem charmanten kleinen Restaurant mit freundlichem und exzellentem Service. Sehr empfehlenswert.

Jeder Schluck und jeder Bissen war ein Genuss. Wir hatten Lochs Tatar, Quiche und Boquerones. Es war erfrischend und leicht.

Wir hatten heute einen rundum wunderschönen Besuch im Kunst-Café glücklich. in Trier! Für 14 Uhr hatten wir einen Tisch für zwei reserviert und wurden direkt herzlich empfangen. Wir haben uns durch eine Auswahl an Tapas probiert – und wirklich jedes einzelne Gericht war ein Highlight: Datteln im Speckmantel, Pincho Tortilla Española, Patatas Bravas, Beluga-Linsensalat, Tofu-Dumplings in Soja-Butter, cremige Burrata mit Rucola-Pesto und Cherrytomaten, gebratene Chorizo mit Lauchzwiebeln in Rotweinjus sowie Albondigas vom Weiderind. Alles war unglaublich lecker, liebevoll angerichtet und perfekt abgestimmt. Auch die Desserts waren ein Traum: Der San Sebastian Pistazien-Cheesecake und das saftige Schoko-Pekannuss-Küchlein haben den Besuch perfekt abgerundet. Der Service war aufmerksam, freundlich und einfach rundum herzlich – man fühlt sich sofort wohl. Ein großes Kompliment an das tolle Team! Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder – eine ganz klare Weiterempfehlung!

Einfach ein Traum – so viel Leidenschaft und Persönlichkeit spürt man selten. Ich verbringe hier regelmäßig ganze Abende, weil die Atmosphäre einfach stimmt. Man fühlt sich wohl, entspannt und irgendwie wie im Urlaub. Für mich ist das der perfekte Ort, um dem Alltag zu entfliehen – ein Stück Spanien, Italien oder Portugal mitten in Trier. Ich bringe auch super gerne Freunde mit, vor allem wenn sie von außerhalb kommen – und wirklich jeder ist bisher begeistert gewesen. Für mich ist das mehr als nur ein Restaurant – es ist ein Ort, an dem man gerne Zeit verbringt. Absolute Empfehlung!

Tolle Neuentdeckung – absolute Empfehlung! Eine wirklich schöne Neuentdeckung für uns. Sehr freundlicher, herzlicher und gastfreundlicher Service – aufmerksam, hilfsbereit und angenehm präsent, ohne aufdringlich zu sein. Die kleinen Tapas sind durchweg lecker und abwechslungsreich, für jeden Geschmack ist etwas dabei. Besonders positiv: keine typische Tapasbar, wie man sie inzwischen an jeder Ecke findet. Kein Spanier – dafür deutlich vielfältiger, kreativer und spannender. Ein absoluter Tipp für eine kleine Auszeit und genussvolle Stunden. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

Das Wetter war wirklich nicht schön, aber die Stunden die wir dann im Cafe Glücklich verbrachten haben uns einfach glücklich gemacht. Kleines, schnuckeliges Cafe, sehr familiäre Atmosphäre, leckere und süffige Weine und das wichtigste überhaupt: die Tapas. Meine Güte waren die lecker. Am liebsten würde man sich durch die ganze Karte futtern :-) Wenn es mich das nächstemal in die Region verschlägt, werde ich sicher einen Tisch reservieren und die Zeit genauso geniessen wie an diesem regnerischen Freitag im November.

Das Glücklich, ein Tapas Restaurant, in dem der Name Programm ist. Wir haben vorher reserviert und hatten einen schönen Tisch mit viel Platz für unseren Hund (wurde in der Reservierung angekündigt) . Das war bereits sehr erfreulich. Der Service war überaus nett und zuvorkommend. Es folgten fast 2 Stunden absolutes Tapas Erlebnis quer durch die umfangreiche Karte. Das Essen war sehr lecker und frisch. Es war so gut, dass wir Portionen nachbestellt haben. Wir kommen definitiv wieder. Vielen Dank!!

The restaurant boasts a very pleasant atmosphere, an excellent wine list, and a pleasingly large selection of high-quality non-alcoholic alternatives – the best selection in Trier, in my opinion. The food is fresh, expertly prepared, and uses no processed foods or additives, but is seasonally varied. Fish and meat dishes are offered, as well as vegetarian and vegan options. The real highlight, however, is the service: I have rarely experienced such attentive and friendly service. Every special request was fulfilled with a smile – always striving to ensure guests have a pleasant evening. The name of the restaurant says it all: that's exactly how you leave.

We were there yesterday with our little group of girls and spent an absolutely wonderful evening in a wonderful atmosphere. The food, service, and friendliness – simply outstanding, and with such attention to detail that you feel welcome from the very first moment. An absolute highlight in Trier! Glücksspiel impresses with an exceptionally delicious selection of creative tapas and a wonderfully warm atmosphere. Each dish is prepared with attention to detail and is a true taste experience – fresh, refined, and varied. I would particularly like to highlight the excellent wine selection, which perfectly complements the tapas and includes various specialties as well as international wines. The service is attentive, incredibly friendly, and makes the visit a thoroughly enjoyable experience. A place where you immediately feel at home – highly recommended!

I'm still in shock... Today I ordered a cappuccino and a small lemon tart (about the size of an espresso saucer) at Café Glücklich. After that, I wasn't "happy" anymore... €7.50 just for the mini tart, and €11.50 for the cappuccino. That's a bit cheeky, even in Trier's notoriously expensive neighborhood. The two stars are still for the stylish ambiance and friendly service.

The tapas at Glücklich are really great, the service and the layout of the restaurant are great. We had a lot of different tapas and can confidently say that everything tasted great. Of all the things I liked the most was the breaded chicken with the sweet chili sauce, closely followed by the apple tart with vanilla. So definitely try it and plan time for the many small dishes.

We were there for breakfast. We waited a very long time for the food (> 1 hour), but the owner excused this with a free drink. The portion was lovingly prepared, but nothing special and I wondered what took so long. Overall, I found the price-performance ratio to be too high.

Great wines, delicious coffee and absolutely fantastic food across the board. The service is enthusiastic and fun to work with and always brings you a smile. We are happy to be with you and can only recommend our insider tip here. Keep it up. A little tip from the insider: The scallops are awesome. Finally, be sure to try a piece of cake. This simply sweetens every evening.

We were there for breakfast today. Both the French toast and the scrambled eggs were delicious. You can tell that emphasis is placed on high-quality products here. The coffee also tastes very good. The ambience is stylish and cozy. The service is particularly friendly. I mentioned when making the reservation that it was my husband's birthday. The table was decorated with confetti and we had a particularly nice seat by the window. We would definitely like to come back. ❤️

Disappointed. Despite the nice service staff, you wait forever for the food, which is often sold to the guests as if everything was intended to come little by little (we sat in front of empty plates for half an hour in between). You focus on what’s around you and not on the food. The portions are small and nothing special in terms of craftsmanship. Over-seasoned mushrooms, dry chicken and a diced boiled potato served as patatas bravas. If you pay almost 100 euros for 3 people and go home hungry when you can cook the dishes better yourself, then something is wrong. The owners are nice people, but the food is more appearance than reality.

We had breakfast at Café Glücklich and the name really says it all! At first I thought I wouldn't be full because of the small portion, but because the products are of high quality, in the end it was enough and, above all, really tasty. I recommend the scrambled eggs here. So far the best thing I've had in a restaurant🥰 The service staff and the owner couple are totally friendly and cultured. I am happy and grateful to have such a great restaurant in Trier😇 I also took the good-looking cheesecake with me, which was beautifully packaged and actually tasted extremely delicious. Really highly recommended 😊

During a stop in Trier I dined at this tapas based restaurant that is located in the heart of the main walkway. Reservations are highly recommended as it appears to get busy & sought after amongst a strong following of guests . I was there for a mid day lunch and the Menu is a great representation of tapas dishes . I chose a trio of dishes. Recommended to get at least three tapas per person to have the full experience of various flavors . Black beluga lentil salad is a must . New favorite legume for me ! Shrimp were perfectly cooked and sardines are just right and not overpowering. Side portion of bread & homemade aioli take the dishes to another level by adding extra flavors . Restaurant has excellent selection of wines, and owners can help recommend a pairing based on flavor profiles . They were very kind to let me sample 3 wines before selecting my final choice of a Barahonda Barrica Syrah that complemented the entire meal perfectly . Quality of food is top , attention to details, Service was great and owners extremely friendly and kind . Restaurant has a selection of of products for purchase including wines. A real gem for the city & 100% I Will be coming back next time I am in the area .

Phenomonal. We went there for breakfast, came back for diner. Great personal, friendly service. Best breakfast we ever had. (Cheese platter for two), where every single thing on the platter was great. Tapas in the evening. Great service again. After asking about the wines, we got the option to taste a few before deciding. Great wines at bargain prices. For the tapas, we ordered way to many for our own good. But every single one, out of eight, was brilliant in it's own way. But a special shoutout from my girlfriend to the dates in bacon. After filling the last holes in our stomach with some delicious dessert and nice and foamy cappuccino/flat white. We stumbled out of there. Happy and content. Sidenote about our pricing indication : We ordered about everything we could manage and were completely and utterly stuffed. It's totally worth it and definitly possible to be a lot cheaper off.

Small but (very) fine tapas restaurant. In a cozy atmosphere there is an excellent selection of tapas (also vegan/vegetarian) and matching wine. The service is very attentive, friendly and helps with the choice of wine. In short: everything is great - highest recommendation level!

The price ratio between tapas sizes/contents and prices is not correct. Almost outrageous to charge €8 to €10 for such small (really small, even if tapas isn't supposed to be) portions. The service was totally fine and so was the ambience.
