Delicious food and good service

The food is incredibly delicious, the staff is super friendly, and the atmosphere is really nice too.

I went there specifically for the highly praised duck, but honestly, I was disappointed by the meager portion, and it seems they serve two different kinds of duck. I saw lovely, thick, delicious pieces of duck on other plates, which I sadly missed on my hot plate. It was average at best, but certainly not glory duck.

The young woman who served us this evening—apart from being briefly friendly when we paid—was on her phone the entire time and kept disappearing into some corner. Luckily, you have another employee. I still gave her a tip, but actually for the other staff—even though I had to wait a really long time to pay and she completely ignored us.

My girlfriend and I were sitting right by the window, in a spot that was impossible to miss, but no matter how often I waved, the waitress just kept looking at her phone. We were only rescued when we ordered from the bartender. Unbelievable. I felt like she was doing us a favor by letting us eat there at all.

The food was really very good, no matter what we ordered. Unfortunately, and this is why it doesn't get 5 stars, the menu was really shabby, with dust everywhere, and they only accepted cash. The waiter was also very reserved, so there's definitely room for improvement in many areas.

We've been coming here to eat regularly for years, but unfortunately, the service has declined significantly in recent years. Today was the final straw when the waiter, who's usually there, impatiently asked us to move tables because new guests had arrived and told us to sit at the smaller table right next to the smelly toilet, even though there were other tables available. It wasn't a request, but an impatient demand. The food is tasty, but the portions have become noticeably smaller. One main course was simply not enough to satisfy us. We won't be coming back. We've rarely experienced such an unfriendly waiter. It's a real shame. However, because of today's experience, we discovered another very delicious and incredibly welcoming Vietnamese restaurant just down the street.

A cozy restaurant with really good food. I've been there several times and have always been satisfied with the meal; it's truly delicious. The only downside is that the restrooms need to be cleaned and maintained much more frequently. For example, there's a trash can that you really wouldn't want to touch because it's absolutely filthy. Please pay more attention to this. Nevertheless, I enjoy coming to this restaurant.

The dish orange curry duck was very regular. The rice was poorly cooked sticky and it as basmati. The sauce was very liquid and almost tasteless. Not a good offer for the price. Minimum service.

I tried my favorite Asian soup Pho. It was good but Comparing from other asian restaurant that I tried I have to say it’s need to be developed. But in total it was good and the waiter was friendly.

We loved our food and enjoyed our time here. All the way until the end when it became a bit disappointing. We were presented with a 3-digit bill with the condition that they don’t accept card payment. This is 2025, not 1995. Anywhere in the world can you pay by card. We know why some businesses do this in Berlin and if you’re the boss of this restaurant reading this review, let us share with you - it’s not cool! We see what you’re doing. In summary: for the food we would come back and hence the four stars, but for the sheer inconvenience of having to pay in cash, we won’t return and gave the service a two star. The staff were nice and polite and couldn’t do anything about this, it’s not their fault. As future customers, be aware that you cannot pay with standard cards like debit or credit card. Cash only but no clear sign on the door.

Truly the best duck in all of Europe. I've been to over 1,000 restaurants, but the food here is perfect. The place itself isn't exactly eye-catching, either inside or out. But the restaurant has tremendous potential.

The worst Asian restaurant I've ever eaten at!!! The reviews MUST be fake (bought, family, friends). My girlfriend and I had an appetizer (ground beef in strips), numbers 24 & 31, a green shake, and a ginger tea. - Horribly presented main courses (without love) - The chicken had no flavor, the advertised homemade sauce was bland and looked like it had been mixed (you basically just spooned the sauce; I also didn't know you could slice chicken breast that thin) - The tea came with warm, not hot, water. It tasted almost like nothing, even though it had a lot of ginger in it (I don't understand how you can mess up a fresh ginger tea like that - I always order it at Asian restaurants)

The service was very nice and we were satisfied. Unfortunately, we had higher expectations for the food, but it wasn't that special. I ordered orange duck and it was a bit too sour (my personal opinion). Also, the mango cheesecake didn't look like cheesecake at all; it could have been called panna cotta (no mascarpone/quark or anything like that).

We came here for lunch during the day and we were the only ones. One would expect service to be faster, which was not the case. Nonetheless we still enjoyed our meals. The drinks were really tasty.

Three of us came here for lunch on a Saturday. The restaurant is okay, but nothing special. A bit chilly atmosphere. Card payment is possible.

There are good duck dishes here. They are a bit Germanized, but the duck is tender and crispy. As in all Asian restaurants in Friedrichshain, all other dishes are mediocre. It somehow tastes the same everywhere. Service quick but nothing special. Ambiance could be nicer.

We were there a few years ago and had very fond memories of the Glory Duck specials. Now we were there again and were a little disappointed. The dishes are solid but the duck, of all things, was rather average. But the location and service are good and the prices are fair. If you're close to ducks, that's fine

In this restaurant, duck is the order of the day. And it was very tender and delicious. My dish also came with rice in a bowl.

We ordered three dishes. Crispy honey chicken was so bad we had to return, it was not fresh and the chicken smelled awful. Beef dish was okayish but not worth the price. Duck dish was also stale and smelled old, after one bite I had to throw it. The two mocktails were decent, Mango Delight and Limo Soda.

We were there on a Friday afternoon and the shop was very empty. First impression, everything is a bit old and you don't sit very comfortably, and the cards don't make a good impression either. One had duck and one had tofu with flat rice noodles. The food came very quickly and looked simply prepared. The portion wasn't very large and seemed rather warmed up. Far too bland and more of a snack bar. It was ok, but I wouldn't eat there again. The service was attentive.

I went to Glory Duck at lunchtime and it was surprisingly empty, which made the atmosphere very calm and relaxed. The grilled duck was an absolute highlight – nice and crispy and tender. The food came quickly and the service was friendly. A pleasant place for a quiet meal, although it could do with a few more guests!

The Vietnamese restaurant offers authentic food in a cozy atmosphere. The pho was very tasty and the spring rolls were fresh and crispy. Friendly service and fair prices round off the great experience. Highly recommended!

At 3:00 p.m., the store is completely empty, even though it's been open since 12:00 p.m. I wanted to eat grilled duck, as advertised on the menu. But they don't have that here. They only serve the typical Chinese crispy duck. The waiter was completely listless. Incidentally, you can only pay in cash. Credit cards are not accepted. Just to save that small 1.2% fee, they send you to the nearest ATM. But some of these charge a fee of €5. That's definitely not customer-friendly these days. There's no good reason for it! We all have to pay taxes!!! For me, that's a reason to avoid these kinds of stores!

Despite Valentine's Day there were still places for us. The store was quite busy and yet the service was quick and the drinks only took a few minutes. The food came after about 15 minutes and was fresh and hot. Very tasty and cheap. Toilets are also clean.

The vegetarian duck was really not delicious last time. Some wobbly texture in low-end peanut sauce. There are way better places for vegetarian duck options.

We were there in the afternoon to have a drink, which we had announced beforehand. The store was completely empty and didn't get much fuller while we were sitting there. We each had more than one drink too. Nevertheless, at some point we were not asked very nicely when we would go. So according to the motto, you've been here long enough. The waiter also exuded listlessness from the start. I thought it was pretty cheeky in times when the catering industry is struggling. Would have understood if the store had been overcrowded and customers would have liked to eat something. But not when there are almost no guests there. I won't be coming back and won't recommend the store.

The Glory Duck is truly excellent! Went there for the first time yesterday, it was fantastic! The duck is so juicy & crispy. The home made drinks are a blast! I had the Lyschie Bliss, so delicious! An all around successful menu in the city. Thanks for that!
