The Vietnamese restaurant offers authentic food in a cozy atmosphere. The pho was very tasty and the spring rolls were fresh and crispy. Friendly service and fair prices round off the great experience. Highly recommended!

The food arrived very quickly. Very tasty and filling

I went to Glory Duck at lunchtime and it was surprisingly empty, which made the atmosphere very calm and relaxed. The grilled duck was an absolute highlight – nice and crispy and tender. The food came quickly and the service was friendly. A pleasant place for a quiet meal, although it could do with a few more guests!

At 3:00 p.m., the store is completely empty, even though it's been open since 12:00 p.m. I wanted to eat grilled duck, as advertised on the menu. But they don't have that here. They only serve the typical Chinese crispy duck. The waiter was completely listless. Incidentally, you can only pay in cash. Credit cards are not accepted. Just to save that small 1.2% fee, they send you to the nearest ATM. But some of these charge a fee of €5. That's definitely not customer-friendly these days. There's no good reason for it! We all have to pay taxes!!! For me, that's a reason to avoid these kinds of stores!

Despite Valentine's Day there were still places for us. The store was quite busy and yet the service was quick and the drinks only took a few minutes. The food came after about 15 minutes and was fresh and hot. Very tasty and cheap. Toilets are also clean.

We were there in the afternoon to have a drink, which we had announced beforehand. The store was completely empty and didn't get much fuller while we were sitting there. We each had more than one drink too. Nevertheless, at some point we were not asked very nicely when we would go. So according to the motto, you've been here long enough. The waiter also exuded listlessness from the start. I thought it was pretty cheeky in times when the catering industry is struggling. Would have understood if the store had been overcrowded and customers would have liked to eat something. But not when there are almost no guests there. I won't be coming back and won't recommend the store.

The vegetarian duck was really not delicious last time. Some wobbly texture in low-end peanut sauce. There are way better places for vegetarian duck options.

The Glory Duck is truly excellent! Went there for the first time yesterday, it was fantastic! The duck is so juicy & crispy. The home made drinks are a blast! I had the Lyschie Bliss, so delicious! An all around successful menu in the city. Thanks for that!

I expected something more. The menu was pretty run down. The ambience itself is more of a snack bar style. Payment with Visa or Mastercard is not possible.

Delicious, hearty Vietnamese food. Some of the best I’ve had outside of Vietnam! The duck with mango coconut sauce was divine, and I enjoyed the satay chicken and dumpling soup as well. Friendly, efficient service and a nice, homely atmosphere. I would definitely visit again.

Very nice restaurant. A warm atmosphere and good selection. The food was delicious and the price-performance ratio was very good. My curry had an honest amount of meat and vegetables. In the peanut sauce dish, the sauce was very tasty and not as heavy and sweet as it often occurs in other restaurants. The duck was served very appetizingly.

Duck duck goose. I don't know. As far as berlin Asian restaurants go it was alright, prob better than the average. Duck was cooked well. But yeah. Portions and veg/sauce/rice ratio was a bit off . But still ok feed bit pricey but that's the way it is. Nothing to write home about. But still a good vibe and a better choice than many others out there

Food ok, but more snack quality. Service rather bad. Now not unfriendly but the main course came when we were still in the middle of the starter. Even without an apology or anything. Drinks rather plain and loveless. Just like the food. Too expensive for the performance. Apparently paying with a debit card wasn't possible either. Edit: Last review in which I wrote in more detail why I was dissatisfied was reported. Great customer service! I was surprised that there were almost only good reviews. That's why only 1 star now. If reported again there will be 2x1 star reviews, I wasn't alone with you ;)

Unfortunately they charged me 2 drinks more or 10€ extra, which I noticed the next day. Food was ok, service was nice. But always look at the invoice, maybe there's a mistake, but always look anyway ;) I ate the orange duck, too sweet for me.

The food was 6 out of 5 stars!! We had mango and orange duck! Just great!!! Ambiance is not that nice. But given the taste, the noise doesn't really bother you.

A good restaurant. The service is friendly and the atmosphere is also cozy. The food is really good and tasty. It's not the best Asian restaurant. I have to disagree with some of the reviews. Simply because restaurants nearby like Sora, Wen Cheng or Nyom keep up or are sometimes better. But it shouldn't have a negative effect at all. I have been to Glory Duck several times and have always had a good experience there.

The fried spring rolls are good, but the fried rice noodles/ho noodles are so-so, lack of steam, and lack of ingredients.

Cocktails are just sirup and sugar, even the gin & tonics. The BBQ grilled prawns I ordered came in deep fried in their shells(?), making it very hard to eat. We will not be coming back, there are so many better options in the neighbourhood.

Just read the freaking name of the restaurant, and the come here to eat duck nothing else, I don't even understand way they offer other stuff, if you want to eat a good Krispy Duck then come.

❗️We can’t get “tap water” if we don’t order any beverage! How senseless is this? Most of the restaurants and cafes in Berlin give free tap water even without asking for it. ❗️Card payments start from 15€, ok. But then Visa and Mastercards are not accepted?? 🥘 The food is ok. I had crispy chicken and vegetables in a red coconut curry. It wasn’t so different than any other restaurant. Cha La Lot, a warm starter, is tasty.

Nach einem positivem Erlebnis waren wir nun wieder da. Enttäuschend. Nicht wirklich schlecht, nicht wirklich gut. 3 Speisen und auch Vorspeisen nack Karte, Saucen waren irgendwie dünn, Gemüse grob geschnitten, wenig Rind. Der Mochito war dann auch nicht so stark, der vietnamesische Kaffe aber sehr gelungen. Keine Terrasse mehr vorhanden aber 7 Schnorrer (oder Bettler) in einer Stunde. Leider tut keiner hier etwas dagegen. Ich überlege ein Wiederkommen.

It was hard to convince me. The service is very good, the food came after a reasonable time and tasted really good. It comes in a hot cast iron pan and the rice in a separate bowl, great. I also really enjoyed the gyoza with chicken as a starter. The Tiger beer comes on tap, which is otherwise only known from the bottle. Unfortunately, Visa card payment doesn't work...that needs to be improved.

Never again. Food ok but the service I received was awful... ...the waitress I had this evening 7pm 21/8/24 was petulant like a teenager and totally disrespectful. Train your staff how to deal with the public who fund your business.

The Glory Duck restaurant in Friedrichshain impressed us today. As experts on the culinary scene in this lively Berlin district, we can say without hesitation that Glory Duck is a really good place to go. Our visit started with a warm welcome. The menu promised an exciting selection of duck dishes and many more, but our choice fell on the dish "Vit Mango - Mango Duck", which honestly exceeded our expectations! The grilled duck was perfectly cooked, crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The combination with the mango coconut milk sauce was to die for. The sauce was incredibly creamy, slightly spicy as desired, yet slightly sweet and harmonized perfectly with the hearty duck. The fresh mango pieces gave the dish a fruity note that combined perfectly with the creamy consistency of the sauce. The vegetables were also crisp and fresh, which gave the dish a nice freshness and texture. The fried potato balls that came with it were a successful alternative to rice and exactly how they should be: crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. They rounded off the dish perfectly. Every component on the plate was carefully balanced, creating a harmonious overall experience. By the way, the lemonade was also a dream! Not too sweet and wonderfully refreshing. The service was attentive and friendly, and the price-performance ratio is absolutely reasonable given the quality. If you are looking for exceptional Asian cuisine in Friedrichshain, you should not miss a visit to Glory Duck. We are already looking forward to our next visit!

There were eight of us and we sat inside but close to the street. A little tight, but it still worked. The service was really good - attentive, friendly and the food was also very tasty. The sanitary rooms were clean, at least the one I was able to go to :) The rooms appear rustic and functional. I felt comfortable there. The prices are not excessive and in my opinion are appropriate for what you get there. I would be happy to eat there again.

Die Ente ist tatsächlich exzellent. Wir hatten zwei unterschiedliche Gerichte mit Ente. Wie gesagt, Ente tiptop. Jedoch , der Rest des Menüs unspektakulär. Eine Wantan Suppe hatten wir noch, die Wantans leider nicht die richtige Konsistenz.
