I've rarely eaten such a good crispy currywurst; the sauce was delicious and the fries were perfect too.

The food was actually quite tasty. The restaurant also offers a vegetarian and a "vegan" option. I had the latter with fries. However, I was absolutely furious that the dish labeled "vegan" contained eggs according to the allergen list. Unfortunately, I only noticed this too late, but the name is misleading, and eggs are NOT vegan! That made me very angry!

I went there for the first time today. Service was quick and friendly. Burger was good. Fries were tasty, but unfortunately way too salty. Minus points for the drinks. 0.2 Fritz drinks for €3 and €3.50. Far too expensive, especially since Fritz drinks aren't particularly tasty or special. Conclusion: Food was good, drinks, unfortunately, not. Maybe I'll go back sometime, but not my favorite.

In any case, the selection is extensive. I especially recommend the authentic Saarland specialty: Dippelappes! You can order it vegan or traditional.

We were there on Saturday evening; two tables were occupied outside, OK. We waited 10 minutes, nothing happened, even though the bartender saw us. The "Self-Service" sign should probably be outside, then it would be easier for guests. Okay, we went inside and ordered three drinks at the bar and paid right away. Beer was delicious as always, Coke nice and cold. But the "Aperol Spritz" was a disgrace. I'd leave a side of a drink, but this was terrible. I also suspect it wasn't a real Aperol, but something cheap and ready-made. €7.50 for that wasn't OK. I'm quite glad we didn't eat anything after looking behind the bar. Too bad. It's been better.

There is indoor and outdoor seating, although the interior is only accessible by steps. Restrooms are also located there. There is a moderate selection of burgers, including vegetarian/vegan options. The burgers taste okay, but not outstanding, and, above all, they don't keep you full for long. The burger patty was very thick in places. The drinks are a bit overpriced at €2.50 for a 0.2 liter. Overall, the value for money isn't good.

I ordered the vegan Grasshopper. Unfortunately, there seems to have been a recipe change, so it no longer resembles crispy chicken like it used to, but is more like a vegetable mush. It still tasted okay, but the amount of sauce left a lot to be desired, which made the burger quite dry, and it was also overcooked. It tasted a bit burnt in places. It's a shame; I won't order from here again.

Good Morning! We were visiting St.Ingbert from Schleswig Holstein. Our friends went with us to the glass beer butcher shop to eat. We ate a schnitzel with fries and salad and the burger of the week from the butcher's menu. We also tried different beers that were brewed in the home brewery. The food was simply great! We've never heard of such a large schnitzel at such a low price! The burger with freshly made patties, nothing frozen, was also really tasty and relatively cheap! The beers are completely different from conventional industrial beers. You can really taste the handwork. We would be happy to have such a great store in Kiel! We'll be back 🤞

Absolutely recommended. The burgers were delicious. Price:performance was right and the staff was also friendly. The location is rustically furnished...can you say that? It could be a bit more comfortable...but worlds more pleasant than the local competition. The menu also offers delicious beers from Saarland and plenty of other delicacies besides the locals... I missed a small selection of desserts... but after the burger I was full anyway. :-) 11 POINTS OUT OF 10. We'll be back!

Cozy restaurant, good burgers, fries, salads and drinks (especially Craftiere) with a decent price-performance ratio. The clear deduction (1 star less is actually a bit flattering) is for the sausage. I noticed that the sausages were left on the grill for far too long and then became shriveled and had a rubbery consistency. B. end up on the plate as currywurst. Here you should urgently check your own claim to fresh and delicious food.

The beer is consistently good, it is decorated nicely. They have very nice fries but it irritates me to no end to be charged for a small cup of their house made ketchup that manages to taste worse than store ketchup. On my last visit an employee stood in the kitchen eating over the grill in open toed shoes, no care for hygiene. I have a fine burger there and an inedible burger, unevenly cooked and falling apart. Even the child’s burger was too rare to eat.

A charming burger restaurant in Saarbrücken! There were two of us there and we tried both a chicken and a beef burger. First of all, I have to emphasize that the staff was extremely friendly. Burgers are really big and taste great. There is always a burger of the week. The curry sauce for the sausage is sensational. The highlight is the Chorizio Currywurst. There are also various home-brewed beers that taste delicious. Update November 24th There is an additional card. I ate cream schnitzel and I have to say it was perfect! Der Betreiber sieht seine Gaststätte als "erweiterten Imbiss mit Sitzgelegenheit". Das bedeutet, dass man reinkommt, an der Theke Getränke und Essen bestellt und sich dann hinsetzt. Die Getränke wurden bei uns dann sehr zügig an den Tisch gebracht, das Essen dauerte etwas, was aber auch nicht verwundert, denn unsere Burger wurden ganz frisch zubereitet. Vom Geschmack her waren sie super lecker, die Pommes dazu weltklasse! Wir hatten den "Burger der Woche" und der kostete einschließlich der Pommes 12,- €. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis empfanden wir daher als sehr gut. Die Biere sind handgemacht und ebenfalls vom Preis her angemessen. Negativ fanden wir, dass man sich jedes weitere Getränk dann wieder an der Theke bestellen muss und auch sofort wieder dort bezahlen muss. Irgendwie empfanden wir die Gaststätte nicht richtig als Restaurant, sondern eher als Imbiss, was ja auch wohl so gewollt ist. Allerdings ist die ansprechende Speisekarte dann wiederum eher wie in einem Restaurant und die schöne Inneneinrichtung lädt durchaus zum Verweilen und Wohlfühlen ein. Die leckeren Speisen werden sichtbar frisch zubereitet und haben uns total überzeugt. Unser Fazit: Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder hierher einen Burger essen und dazu ein leckeres selbstgebrautes Bier trinken!

An enrichment for the city of St. Ingbert. Small restaurant with a pleasant atmosphere in a rustic style but very cozy. When the weather is nice, there are nice seats on small benches under parasols in front of the restaurant in the pedestrian zone. The food is also very tasty (burgers and sausages tried) and the types of beer are rather unusual, but also very tasty. Definitely a recommendation from me.

Of the 5 craft beers advertised, 3 were out! Instead of home-brewed Weisgerber, we were offered Tegernseer light, which also tasted old and stale. It's a shame that a unique selling point like the St. Ingberter craft beer is simply given up. The burgers and fries were good.

The Glasbiermetzgerei serves really good food that will leave you wanting more. It's just a shame that the staff is rather grumpy. The tables were in desperate need of a cleaning party, but who needs cleanliness when the food is impressive? All in all: It's worth a visit, but you should bring a cloth and some patience with you!

Really good food at fair prices. Regardless of whether it's a burger or a currywurst, you can't go wrong there. The best beer from the heart and homeland, fresh from the barrel and in almost all varieties. Definitely worth a visit!

Went there for dinner this week. The food was good. The home-brewed beer too. That's why the 2 stars. However, self-service and advance payment are not for everyone. We had to clear the table ourselves and after asking, the service staff instructed us where to put the empties and disposable packaging. We didn't have to wash up. Despite our own work, the price-performance ratio was okay except for these items: 0.2 liters FRITZ COLA €3.00. 0.2 liter mineral water €2.50 - there are no large bottles. This is awesome in a negative sense. Turning the service screw up a little and rethinking the pricing of non-alcoholic drinks would help customer satisfaction.

In der Nähe der Autobahn liegt der Ort St.Ingbert. Hier haben wir diese Snackbar entdeckt. Selbstbedienung ist das Motto. Essen und Getränke werden an den Tisch gebracht oder man nimmt es mit. Der junge Mann vom Service ist noch nicht lange dabei. Daher ist es chaotisch. Der Chef kocht. Wir bestellen einen Salat mit gebackenem Ziegenkäse und Spaghetti mit Rucola. Alles perfekt und lecker. Nur der Espresso dauert eine Ewigkeit.

When we complained, they only said that it had only been booked once and that you could still order (and pay for!) another portion. Unfortunately I didn't receive a receipt and couldn't check it. Dear Ollie, it's a real shame. From the beginning (when the burgers could still be picked up at the brewhouse) we enjoyed coming here often - but that was the last time today. Very bad service, ketchup for 3 fries for 1 euro extra (teaspoon). Not really good in taste either. And then you have to buy a cola and a beer for a shot, so 2 drinks when you actually only have a shot of cola.

We like to eat at Glasbier Metzgerei not only because of the good burgers but also because of the beer. I would particularly like to mention that the service employee Leo gave us a great evening today. Great guy, relaxed, casual and funny. Very sympathic. Keep it up. We came to this place by accident, due to our car breaking down nearby. We were not disappointed, the burgers were delicious, the meat was juicy, the ingredients were fresh - they fit perfectly with the whole dish. The decor in the restaurant is very nice and atmospheric. However, I think that for this price (above €10) we could get fries in a burger set. The service was also impeccable, the gentleman was very helpful and showed us the nearest ATM and waited until we returned to our place. I recommend it to everyone in the area.

We had a burger for lunch on Sunday. Meat was on point and very tasty. Unfortunately, the fried onions were not chewable, apparently something went wrong during the manufacturing process. Service is self-service, we were informed of this after sitting at the table for a few minutes. All in all we will probably come back.

Finally there are two good burger addresses in St Ingbert, and the Glasbiermetzgerei is one of them. Had the “standard” burger with fries with non-alcoholic wheat and was completely full afterwards. Definitely worth the price! The shop seems to be aimed more at younger customers, i.e. the music was a bit too loud for my taste and you couldn't really have a good conversation. And I would make the clearing station a little more discreet, but in my opinion it doesn't really fit in with the actually beautiful furnishings. Still full marks with a little room for improvement
