Very nice atmosphere, delicious food and friendly staff. I'd love to come back.

The brunch offering is super rich!!! I don't know who isn't fed up here. Everything from scrambled eggs to smoked trout! We will always come back!!

Very nice service, great ambience and delicious food. We were here with 12 guests and everyone was completely satisfied.

Price/performance is not balanced, a bit too expensive for the performance received. Carelessly done. Ambiance in the restaurant was very good. Service sufficient. Vegetarian burger was okay but not good. Portion of fries too small for the price. More mayo/ketchup could be served without having to ask. Only conditionally recommended. We were there for dinner with 8 people, the average opinion was mediocre.

Have been eating there for years. Everything perfect! The bread and the amount of sauce are great. Price performance absolutely unbeatable. Friends from far away don't miss it when they visit here. That says a lot about the store.

New again... Had dinner with the family on New Year's Eve. There was a holiday menu, which is of course reduced. But I have full understanding. The room was decorated for New Year's Eve and was well attended. Still very good staff. The taste of the dishes we ordered was completely ok (except for the ready-made hollandaise) and plentiful. Will come back. New visit in July 23... We were there with several people. The service was very nice and attentive. Very good 👍 The food was very tasty for most people. I was surprised by the burgers. They definitely learned there. My lumberjack burger with extra cheese, bacon and jalapenos tasted very close to perfect. I just didn't like the long cucumber. I'm more of a fan of American pickled round cucumber slices. But that's whining at a high level. There were also fried potatoes. The taste was closer to convenience and the onions could have been in the pan longer. The other burgers were also good (unfortunately I didn't like the nachos). Roast beef with fried potatoes was good. But again the taste and the onions... The Wiener-style schnitzel also looked like ready-made schnitzel to me. The breading tasted the same too. The atmosphere is cozy, but also quite loud due to the glass house. I'd love to come back... Old report Very nice service. Food was ok, broccoli was on point, the steak was slightly overcooked. The grilled feta beforehand was very tasty. I don't think the burgers are that great. The taste was boring and the patty was almost a meatball.

It's understandable that the Christmas menu is slimmed down, but I found the selection too limited. The avocado burger with fries was very tasty, but it wasn't enough for the price. No salad beforehand, which is a shame. Service was great. I expected more for the prices. That Schnitzel was really carelessly prepared.

Unsere Familie wollte den 9. Geburtstag unsere Tochter im Glas Haus feiern , wir gehen zu jedem Geburtstag dorthin ( schon eine kleine Tradition für uns) . Und es wurde auch immer ein Geburtstagslied gespielt und dazu ein gratis Nachtisch für das Geburtstagskind serviert , heute leider nicht , obwohl ich es bei der Reservierung angegeben hatte. Gut kann man nicht verlangen und ist eine freiwillige Leistung , aber unsere Tochter freut sich so sehr auf diesen Moment im Jahr , dass Sie heute bitterlich enttäuscht wurde. Geht mir gar nicht um die paar Euro , die der Nachtisch gekostet hätte , wir sind eine sechsköpfige Familie , da fällt nun ein Nachtisch gar nicht ins Gewicht . Es geht mir um den Service und der hat doch nachgelassen. Und wir hatten auch das Gefühl , dass manche Portionen kleiner geworden sind . Also wir werden uns ein anders Lokal suchen, weil Geld kann ich auch ohne Kindertränen ausgeben.

The service has deteriorated significantly compared to before. Even though we had registered for a birthday party, they couldn't find our reservation and there was a lot of hectic activity to accommodate us. Despite the almost empty restaurant, all guests were seated as close to each other as possible. The prices have been raised significantly without the portions being at least the same size as previous visits. Unfortunately, there wasn't even a small gift for children on their birthdays. It's a shame but this was our last visit to the GlasHouse.

The food was okay and the service was very nice and accommodating. Update: we were very satisfied again. Especially with the excellent service.

Service not wow, but okay, ambience too, but the food was really bad! There were four of us and every dish was not freshly made. The schnitzels, the wedges, sauces or, worst of all, the fried potatoes that weren't properly fried (without bacon and onions, by the way) - everything was prefabricated industrial goods! And €20.90 for a rustic schnitzel with almost raw onions and cold, limp champions. For dessert we ordered apple strudel and asked several times if it included raisins. This was denied, even when asked in the kitchen. Not only was our dessert forgotten - we asked for it several times - but of course there were raisins in it. We had it returned and also expressed our criticism on site. The first and last time we were there.

Everything was right for me, even quiet dogs were allowed ;)

We were there with a birthday group of 16 people. We were looked after very much. You felt welcome. There was even a surprise. Food was very good. Everyone was really happy. We will definitely try it again on a smaller scale. But a clear recommendation to stop there.

Very nicely decorated restaurant with a large and good selection of food and drinks. Everything we ordered and was served was delicious. The waiters are very friendly and quick to serve you. You don't have to wait long. I really liked everything here and I will definitely come back. Also a good selection of vegetarian options. Large parking lot in front of the door.

Update 2024: Unfortunately, I have the impression that more and more people are cutting back on food: the portions are getting smaller, the ingredients are being saved, and at the same time the prices are getting higher and higher over the years. That no longer suits me, so unfortunately only 3 stars in 2024, what a shame!

Nachdem meine Google Bewertung gelöscht wurde hier nun meine Ehrliche Bewertung: Leider war es vor Ort sehr kalt, weswegen es eher ungemütlich war. Das Essen hat im Vergleich zum letzten Mal auch nachgelassen (fast rohe Pommes, versalzene Burgerpatties usw.). Der Service war okay aber ausbaufähig.

Unfortunately it was very cold there, which made it rather uncomfortable. The food has also deteriorated compared to last time (almost raw fries, over-salted burger patties, etc.). The service was okay but could be improved.

I really enjoy going to the Glas House Elmshorn. The conditions are friendly and engaging. The ambience is very cozy thanks to the real trees, both inside and outside, and I can only say positive things about the food. I especially find the burgers very tasty.

The service is super excellent. Someone was always asking if we wanted anything else. The food came at the same time and you didn't have to wait too long for it. Even though we all ordered different food.

Am Sonntag habe ich mit 23 weiteren Personen im neuen Trakt des Hauses an einer sehr schön gedeckten Tafel zum Essen eingeladen. Ablauf: Sektempfang, Mittagessen sowie Kaffee und Kuchen! Die gesamte Zeit begleitete uns eine Mitarbeiterin des Hauses (Sureyya) in hervorragender Form. Hervorzuheben ist die ständige Präsenz, die Freundlichkeit der Mitarbeiter, kaum Wartezeit beim Essen, hohe Qualität der Speisen und Getränke sowie ein wohliges Ambiente! Das Glashouse mit den Mitarbeitern hat meinen Geburtstag zu einem tollen Event gemacht, vielen Dank!

We were lured by the unique ambience and have to say that the hospitality does 100% justice. The waiters were friendly, attentive and went out of their way to help with any special requests. We celebrated my mother's birthday and were surprised by the singing robot - an absolute highlight! The menu had something for everyone and the food tasted super fresh and delicious (I always prefer the seasonal recommendation menu). All in all, it was our first visit, but definitely not our last. :)

We ordered to go and unfortunately the food wasn't good at all. The burger bun was soggy, the patty was over seasoned and the grill plate was a super small portion and didn't taste good.

There were 4 of us there on a Saturday. Unfortunately, even though there was very little going on, it took quite a long time for drinks and food to arrive. By 9:30 p.m. we already had the feeling that they wanted to get rid of us. We weren't asked if we wanted anything else, only when we approached the waitress. When the last order was placed at 10:15 p.m., the lady rolled her eyes and reluctantly took it. Then we were vacuuming while we were sitting there. Sorry, but after an evening like that you shouldn't be surprised if you don't feel like coming back again... What a shame. The food was good, but the service was unfortunately very poor.

The salmon we enjoyed was cooked to perfection – tender, juicy and flavorful. The side dishes were carefully selected and harmoniously coordinated. Every component of the dish demonstrated the high level of culinary art and commitment of the kitchen team. Reception and service: The reception in the restaurant was extremely warm and professional. The staff was consistently attentive, friendly and well trained. We felt welcome and well looked after at all times. Such service contributes significantly to the overall positive experience. Ambiance: The ambience in the Glass Haus is comfortable and inviting. The interior design combines apartness with a pleasant feel-good atmosphere. The dim lighting and the tasteful decoration contribute to a relaxed and enjoyable evening. Cleanliness: The cleanliness in the Glass Haus is exemplary. Both the dining area and the bathroom facilities were immaculate. These high hygiene standards are another plus point that make a visit to the Glass Haus a completely pleasant experience. Overall, the Glass Haus impressed us with its excellent cuisine, first-class service and a wonderful ambience. We can fully recommend this restaurant and are already looking forward to our next visit.

The atmosphere in the Glas House is appealing, the waitresses are friendly and attentive. The service was quick. The Alster is ice cold. Unfortunately, the food was very disappointing for the second time: the taste of the pan was bland, a lot of soggy, creamy cheese sauce with canned mushrooms, the meat in it was at least medium and therefore good. The minced steak came without sauce, was dark crusty, firm and small, the cheese filling in it remained a clue; a tiny portion of thin fries, without ketchup and mayonnaise - they only came when requested. The rice as an additional side dish was too firm, tasteless, the salad without dressing was boring, watery and without flavor. The prices are too high. The final cocktail also didn't score points compared to other locations: it was actually just ice cream, which I spent a good half an hour digging into. Never again.

ich war angenehm überrascht. wir waren eine kl Gesellschaft von ca 20 Gästen trotz der unterschiedlichen gerichte bekamen alle gäste zeitnah ihr essen. das personal war sehr freundlich die speisen hatte klasse und auch reichhaltig gerne werden wir dort wieder einkehren und können es nur weiter empfehlen

Very friendly service. Had a lot of fun and a very pleasant atmosphere! Food was great, I noticed a little too much, but the taste was great! Unfortunately, only the spare ribs were weak in taste. However, I can definitely recommend it!

Price-performance ratio no longer fits. The prices were raised, the quantity was reduced and the quality.... Waiters take orders, that's about it, seemed disinterested, as if they had to do the job but actually didn't feel like it. It's a real shame, it was a great restaurant in terms of food. Ambiance is very good, it has been added and has become nice.

The food is completely ok. nothing bad, nothing more than average. The service seemed quite indifferent and uninteresting to me. The order was taken indifferently, the food was brought indifferently and everything was cleared away again. I like the atmosphere. It's a shame that they don't make an effort to be more than minimally necessary for their customers.

The Glasshouse offers a pleasant atmosphere and very friendly service, which made the visit very pleasant. However, it is quite busy at lunchtime, which shows that the restaurant is popular. Finding a parking space wasn't easy as parking options are limited. I tried the Glas House Burger, which is considered one of the house specialties. Unfortunately I was disappointed. The patty was very firm and over-seasoned, which unfortunately masked the typical grilled taste. For a burger advertised as one of the best in the house, it failed to impress me. The fries, on the other hand, were really tasty and enhanced the visit a little.

No friendly service. Orders are only accepted. The price of the food is not justified. Came here because of the 4.5 stars. But that was also the first and last time.

Overall a nice restaurant with large indoor and outdoor space. The staff is friendly, accommodating and were always there when we wanted to order. The menu offers a large selection, including vegetarian and vegan dishes. The food was very tasty and sufficient. The price-performance ratio is appropriate. Personally, it bothered me that the table we were assigned wasn't wiped down and there were some dead flies on the table. That's really not possible and the staff only responded when we asked to clean the table. But I would still go here again because the atmosphere is very nice and the food is delicious.

The food was ok, just what you would expect. Nothing special but you won't be disappointed either. What's a little annoying is that the staff often stands and you feel like you're being watched. In addition, the facial expressions of the male staff do not exactly show that they enjoy their job. I have rarely seen employees who look more bored. A lady who served us was the opposite. Friendly, a smile on your lips, just what you imagine when you want to have a nice evening.

I can definitely recommend brunch here! There is a large selection, everything is consistently fresh and appetizing. The price performance ratio is very good. The service matches it and the ambience is particularly nice. Unfortunately, dogs are not welcome. I was already here in the evening and that was also recommended.

One tip; There was a slice of radish as a garnish!! That is not how it works. Either leave out the slice, or use a small garnish, as is appropriate. The Eye eats with you. It just seems unloving if there isn't even a bit of lettuce (green + tomato etc) as a garnish. Or just leave it out completely...that one slice of radish was really a bad joke.
