Very pleasantly decorated. Very friendly staff. The Italian restaurant is quite expensive overall. However, they also offer some delicious, unusual creations, including pizza! "Bruschetta" has become more than just a small starter here!

A unique café in Rosenheim. We were there for breakfast; it was warm enough to sit on the terrace, located right by the canal. Very friendly service, a stylish ambiance but never too pretentious. Our children also felt very comfortable.

I've been eating here regularly with my girlfriend since the change of ownership. Chiara & Francesco are fantastic hosts who run this restaurant with absolutely authentic warmth and a lot of love. The beautiful and tasteful ambiance with a terrace directly on the Mangfall River, as well as the very good cuisine, are completely convincing. This also applies to the entire staff. Even if you can't find what you're looking for on the standard/weekly menu, you can ask Francesco to prepare a customized alternative. This puts this restaurant in the absolute top league and is clearly number 1 among all Giuseppe franchises. Keep up the good work and see you soon....💗👋💗

A fantastic location. The outdoor area is also very atmospheric! The food was absolutely delicious. It's also great that they offer gluten-free options for both pasta and pizza. And to top it all off, we had truly wonderful service. A thoroughly enjoyable evening! Thank you so much!

Rosenheim's best Italian restaurant – our new culinary home❤️ As soon as you enter, you feel welcome – the new owners are incredibly warm and attentive. A visit feels like a short Italian vacation, with atmosphere, soul, and a whole new vibe since the change of ownership, which immediately welcomes you. The service is friendly, competent, and with great recommendations – whether it's for the kitchen specialties or the drinks menu, which delights with its own creations. The new menu offers real highlights, from delicious appetizers to sophisticated Italian cocktails (I recommend the Clementine Spritz and the mixed appetizer platter 😁) The existing design of the restaurant has been lovingly preserved inside and out and reinterpreted with even more charm, creating a very special atmosphere and soul. It feels like a beautiful home, a place where you'll love to linger. We'd love to come back 🥰

Since the change of ownership in January 2025, the food and service have been excellent. Now, the Kunstmühle is once again a definite recommendation.

A very elegant restaurant with a sophisticated clientele. A selection of specialty dishes and pizzas. The salmon and sea bream were exceptional, as was the vegetable pizza. The desserts are also worth trying! The owners are truly talented and professional! I highly recommend it!

The two new owners of the Kunstmühle and their team do everything they can to ensure their guests have a pleasant stay. From a lovingly prepared breakfast to delicious pasta and pizza, everything tastes wonderful. And the ambiance, with its beautiful mosaic and shady terrace, is even more enchanting.

I had the mixed appetizer platter for starters. I highly recommend it. Unfortunately, the bread was a bit hard, and it would have been nice if it had been freshly baked. For my main course, I had the pappadelle with sausage in saffron sauce. I missed the saffron a bit, but it was still very tasty. For dessert, I had the lava cake. There's nothing to complain about. It was absolutely delicious. The service and ambiance were excellent; the staff were very friendly, and the restaurant had a wonderful atmosphere.

The food was delicious, and the staff were patient, polite, and accommodating. Edit: I ate there again a few weeks ago and was absolutely speechless. I had the gnocchi with mascarpone and balsamic sauce. I've rarely eaten anything so incredibly good! The great blessing for my figure and my wallet: I live several hundred kilometers away. The downside for my soul: I live several hundred kilometers away. It was absolutely fantastic and spot on :)

Very nice cafe/restaurant. We sat outside and it was a wonderful brunch. Very tasty and the service was friendly. This was our second time there. The pizza is also highly recommended.

The location is beautiful – right on the canal with modern, tasteful decor and a terrace where you can relax. The chirping of birds and the gentle lapping of the water contribute to a very pleasant atmosphere in which you can truly enjoy your meal. Parking is usually plentiful, so arriving without stress. The service is also usually friendly and attentive. We particularly like the fact that fresh cutlery is always served after the starter – a small but highly commendable service! The food is consistently delicious. The pizzas and the changing weekly specials, which always provide variety, are particularly noteworthy. High praise also goes to the selection of cakes – very tasty and also a good choice for takeaway. Of course, there are also minor points of criticism: Unfortunately, small particles of sand or soil were noticeable in a dish with chanterelle mushrooms, which indicates insufficient cleaning. The dessert decorations (e.g., strawberries and raspberries in the tiramisu) should also be more carefully considered for freshness – there is room for improvement here. Another point concerns the cleanliness of the outdoor area: There were a few cigarette butts under our table. Even though smokers are welcome, it would be helpful to provide an ashtray at each table to protect the environment and maintain a clean ambiance. Tip: It's usually easy to get a table in the morning. However, we recommend calling the restaurant and making a reservation in the evening, as it can be considerably busier then. Conclusion: A very nice restaurant with good food, friendly service, and a relaxed atmosphere. With minor improvements in the details, the restaurant definitely has the potential to further improve our rating in the future.

Absolutely recommendable! Chiara and Francesco are the nicest people; you can immediately tell how much effort they put into their food. The food is lovingly and excellently prepared, and the service is always attentive and friendly, making you feel immediately welcome. The prices are a bit high, but absolutely justified. The atmosphere is truly lovely—especially on the terrace right by the water. I'll be happy to come back in the future!

We celebrated our wedding dinner at the Kunstmühle on May 30th – and it was absolutely perfect! The team was exceptionally friendly and accommodated all of our requests. We would especially like to highlight the excellent communication beforehand; a big thank you to Alicia, who supported us with so much patience and dedication. The decorations were implemented exactly as we had imagined – stylish, loving, and simply beautiful. The service on our day was also outstanding: fast, attentive, and very professional. The food was a real highlight – every single course was delicious for us and our guests. We received consistently enthusiastic feedback! The location is also very convenient: there is ample parking, which made the journey there a pleasant one for all guests. We would like to say thank you for this unforgettable day – the Kunstmühle was the perfect place for our special moment!

The truly dreamy ambiance and the truly charming service unfortunately don't change the very poor experience we had with the food. My husband ordered a pizza with two ingredients, one of which was missing... I had the shrimp salad, which was dressed entirely with oil and was also gritty and very limited in size and ingredients...

We were there for the murder mystery dinner: The food was good, though not a culinary surprise. The service was unfortunately abysmal. Our waiters were very friendly and attentive, but couldn't keep up with the workload, so we often sat with empty glasses for a long time. One or two more waiters would have certainly enhanced the experience and perhaps even attracted new guests to the restaurant. At least, that's how it remained at our table on our most recent visit. We won't specifically remember the restaurant so positively that we'd drive back to Rosenheim for it. If we happen to be there, we'd still be happy to give you a second chance 😊

We got to know this impressive restaurant for a crime dinner and were very impressed by the quality of the food. The service was very attentive and friendly, we had a wonderful time and felt comfortable. The whole ambience is great, we will definitely treat ourselves again. 😃

You can have a good breakfast there, nice ambience, good service. Everything was beautifully prepared and tasted good. If you want to sit outside, you should definitely make a reservation.

The food was really delicious – fresh, creative and simply harmonious. You can tell that the cooking here is made with love. The staff was also particularly pleasant: super friendly, attentive and in a good mood. You immediately feel comfortable. We'll definitely be back!

I visited this restaurant during my business trip to Germany based on a friend’s recommendation. The concept and interior design are truly impressive, creating a pleasant atmosphere. However, there is a clear shortage of staff. I ordered a salad and a pasta, but it took approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes for my order to arrive. I have nothing to say against the staff—they were constantly running around, doing their best, but they simply couldn’t keep up. After such a long wait, I was quite disappointed with the portion size. Additionally, paying €18.50 for a pasta felt excessive considering what I received. My suggestion to the restaurant would be to hire additional staff, especially on weekends, to improve service efficiency.

Were here for brunch. Everything went really well. The art mill ambience is completely unique. It's best to make a reservation, especially on weekends.

Everything was very tasty but unfortunately not so family-friendly anymore as there was no children's corner anymore despite there being a lot of parents with children coming to breakfast in the morning :(

Today I ordered and picked up 3 pizzas and 1x the weekly dish, ravioli with mozzarella. Pizza was great but the price was high. There was very little ravioli but it was ok as a fitness portion for a small hunger. However, I really don't understand charging €20 for the ravioli. Unfortunately there are no prices mentioned on the homepage/menu for ordering otherwise we wouldn't have ordered.. The staff is very nice and the store is very nice. Conclusion: Price performance is definitely not right for take-away.

Very nice service, I really liked the atmosphere. I ordered a cappuccino and a croissant and I have to say the croissant is very fluffy and I can only recommend it. The cappuccino was very pleasant to drink. I'd love to come back :)

Unfortunately, with the change of ownership, there is now frozen cake, which is even placed on display in the cardboard trays and is sold for expensive prices. What a shame!

Unfortunately the changing table is very dirty. A soft changing mat is definitely missing on the hard, cold pad. In addition, the changing area is only in the women's toilet. How do the fathers do it then? The fact that there are so many families with small children is very disappointing.

15 euros for a breakfast with a thick slice of Parma ham (why?) and 2 slices of salami. Plus a cappuccino for 5 euros. Of course without water... Ambience and service good but all in all not recommended.

Nice location, the service personnel had been mostly friendly, partly even very friendly and kind. The food is of moderate quality though, e.g. fresh orange juice is canned. I would recommand this place for an afternoon tea or a light breakfast in the morning, maybe not for lunch or dinner.

We were in Rosenheim for a girls' weekend and were looking for a place to have breakfast. That's when we came across the Kunstmühle and what can I say... the restaurant was well attended and yet we were greeted very nicely and with Italian friendliness, taken to a table in the lounge and served immediately. Our waitress (afterwards it turned out that she was the new boss in the house) was super sweet and served us with a warmth that I have rarely experienced! Her husband in service was also so kind and attentive that we decided to come back for breakfast the next day and make a reservation for Sunday evening too! The breakfast is absolutely amazing and the price is also justified! Here you get breakfast with ❤️! The dinner, the wine recommendation, the whole ambience is so wonderful, good and simply absolutely recommended. Chiara and Francesco live the motto of their namesake “Guiseppe e Amici” Thank you and your team for this unforgettable time 👐🏻 keep it up and we'll see each other again soon 😃

I used to love coming here, but now it's way too expensive for what you get. The service is very friendly, but you have to wait forever for someone to come. The toilets are really disgusting and dirty. A basic cleaning is long overdue. There are blood stains on the wall in the middle powder room. The food is good, but I expect more for such prices.

We had a small celebration in the "Il Gardino" area. Both the planning and the execution were wonderfully uncomplicated! Everyone was very friendly and always solution-oriented. The waiter in particular (on 06.1024) was quick, lively, funny, courteous and very friendly!! Simply a successful evening from Guiseppe in the Kunstmühle.

We were there for brunch...The ambience is still really nice, although it's still a bit noisy as it's quite echoey...the coffee (or in my case: cappuccino) was excellent...the portions are nicely prepared though the sizes and the price-performance ratio have decreased quite a bit compared to before... I had the farmer's breakfast, the fried eggs were good but the spring onions were practically non-existent, the fried potatoes were barely fried so they were more like boiled potatoes... what about that Bacon was almost a bit very dark (but just within reason)... plus you inevitably had to add more seasoning... there was a pretty small bread basket for the entire table of 4 people, even though everyone had ordered their own breakfast and we were told when we asked that there would be a basket of bread with every breakfast. (since the bread wasn't explicitly listed but only the other side dishes and breakfast components... there's probably a method)...the food was okay but unfortunately a bit disappointing...especially considering the prices...

I have been here multiple times. It is a very nice place, with super friendly stuff, nice food and good atmosphere. It is located in an interesting historical building in Rosenheim. Really recommended

The place was beautiful and coming from a Roman, the food was good. I was at a wedding. The service was a little slow but good. The criticism was too high. The music from the person in charge of entertainment but overall very good and for a gourmet, the desserts were also excellent. Overall good

It was my first time having breakfast at the Kunstmühle. Very stylish furnishings, gigantic mosaic on the west wall, excellent ambience. The food (large breakfast) was more than plentiful, large selection and tasty. And finally I have to praise the staff. Fast, friendly and attentive, just as you would like as a guest and unfortunately experience far too rarely these days. I would also give this 6 stars if it existed. So to the entire team: please keep it up.

It's a bit noisy when it gets crowded. But the food and service is excellent. You can also pay quickly and easily via QR code and Google Pay (or credit card), which is a little faster. I love digitalization 🥰.

Nice atmosphere. In our case, the service was probably a bit overloaded and quite disorganized. We were the only ones standing at the entrance for probably 5-10 minutes with no other guests and even though only the small outdoor area was occupied by people. Pizzas etc. were packed up first before the only two other guests were seated. It also took a long time to order and our food arrived with a time difference of about 15 minutes... so eating together is less fun. Basically, the service was nice, but everything seemed to be quite disorganized or perhaps simply not enough people. The taste of the pizza and pasta was quite good, but not outstanding either. You can go there, but it's not the best Italian restaurant I've been to.

Really great atmosphere, delicious food, but portions were sometimes too small. We were looking for a restaurant with a play area (which is shockingly rare in Rosenheim) and were happy to have found the Kunstmühle. Unfortunately most of the toys were broken.

Was turned away at the door, even though the restaurant was obviously at most a third full. Reason: did you reserve online? We hadn't, decided spontaneously with a small child. Then we made a test online reservation for the same evening: accepted! Craziness. Unfortunately, the restaurant has forever lost a customer who was there often and lives nearby.

Good Italian restaurant, spacious and attractive, very good food.

Food was average. Dessert was a flop. Tiramisu was way too watery, panna cotta was ok, but there was free ice cream. Waiters brought the wrong drinks and didn't bring food, which was probably due to a lack of staff. The location and restaurant are first class, but there is more... Coffee was above average and very tasty!

A beautiful atmosphere. Nice, young staff. However, as is usual today, the food was expensive, but unfortunately the quality couldn't keep up with the price. The spaghetti carbonara was made with such cheap bacon that I couldn't eat half of it because it was greasy and looked like bacon rinds. My companion's pizza wouldn't have made it into the Guinness Book of the best pizzas either. It's a shame, the restaurant is in a nice location, the atmosphere is very pleasant, but......

Two of us had breakfast there and were warmly welcomed and served. The breakfast was very varied and large for the price. The atmosphere was also very pleasant. We'd love to come back!

Note: The smoking and non-smoking areas should definitely be marked on the terrace. Smoke from the neighboring table while eating is disgusting. Otherwise everything was great!

I was in Rosenheim for two appointments, and nearby appointments were arranged with Giuseppe on two subsequent days. The two young conditions did a good job and tried hard. The meal was okay. Unfortunately pizza was cold. The young lady was kind enough to take it with her to warm it up, no idea under a heat lamp maybe, because it wasn't really warm afterwards and couldn't be eaten. But what really spoiled all of our appetites was going to the toilet. That's one reason unfortunately not to go there anymore. Apparently it hasn't been cleaned in a while. We were there twice in a row at lunchtime, and the day after that the condition had not changed. Toilet paper and soap were replenished, but the floor, sink and toilet were dirty. The second time we were in the smaller salon where children also have a small play area. We had to brush off any leftover food and crumbs from the sofas beforehand. When you sat down you could see the floor and there was dust and bread crumbs or something else everywhere. It can't be that it was from previous guests because we were pretty much the first ones there. A good cleaner must come at least once a day for a restaurant like this, and the staff should be trained to clean the seats every now and then, including wiping the table with a cloth beforehand, which would be pleasant for the next guests. Otherwise you can recommend it if you want solid Italian cuisine. I would also like to mention that we got an espresso on the house as compensation for the pizza. I ate the burger and it wasn't that great. Tk meat, dry ready-made bun. Sweet potato fries were great, but it's no easy task to cut open a bag and throw it in the fryer. The meal then cost €22. Staff super friendly, nice atmosphere. But then again: broken glass and advertising on the table (I've never seen it before and thought it was inappropriate)

Warm chocolate cakes. Hmmmm tastes so delicious. It's number 2 on my dessert list (baklava is number 1). We recommend.

The atmosphere is super nice and very cozy and the waiters are very accommodating. As always, the food was great. We like to drive the 30 km here because you won't be disappointed by the food or the service!!

Value for money is really bad. €12.50 for a slice of medium bread with half an avocado and an egg. Totally full on weekends or public holidays, reservation is necessary

Went for dinner early in the evening on Mother's Day with 6 people. I was there for the first time. Ambiance is great. I ordered spaghetti carbonara and was really disappointed with the consistency and taste, it didn't really have anything to do with a real Italian carbonara...and the dishes were brought out at different times, so by the time we all had something the pizzas were already cold, a shame. Since we were invited by our children, I didn't want to complain.
