Unfortunately, all the sushi I ordered had either chili sauce or some other kind of chili in or on it. When I asked about it when I picked it up, the food was placed in front of us, and the employee sat down and continued eating his lunch without comment. Service? Well, overall, not a sushi experience.

Good sushi restaurant in Degerloch

Pretty good Vietnamese food, like the kind you get on the West Coast, USA. They speak English too y'all.

Sensational Vietnamese food. We went using the @stuttgart25 voucher book. We sat inside. The atmosphere was very nice. The server was super friendly. We had the chicken coconut soup for starters. I highly recommend it. We also had the spring rolls. For the main course, the four of us chose the bowls. 3x tuna and 1x salmon. Exceptional!! 100% recommended.

I ordered V2 without spring rolls and requested summer rolls instead – but I had to pay extra for the summer rolls, even though I didn't get the spring rolls. So, double the price for less. They also gave me chicken, even though I specifically asked for the vegetarian option – I don't eat meat. I also called ahead and wasn't told that you could only pay in cash because the card reader wasn't working. I only found out about this when I got there and then had to go back to the bank. All in all: unfriendly service, no flexibility, zero consideration – and, unfortunately, the taste was also disappointing.

Gin Sushi explicitly states that it is familiar with allergens and can also offer gluten-free sushi. With our last order, I stated, as always, that I would separate the gluten-free sushi (due to celiac disease) from the gluten-containing sushi. The fact that all the ginger and wasabi were in the (gluten-containing) crunchy rolls was very disappointing. When a "Tom Roll" with shrimp tempura (breaded and deep-fried) landed in my mouth from a supposedly gluten-free sushi mix, the evening was completely ruined for me. I immediately wrote an email to Gin Sushi asking how this could have happened and requesting that they pay more attention to it in the future, as such things can have serious health consequences. Unfortunately, they didn't even consider it necessary to respond to my email. Therefore, I can only advise against Gin Sushi (especially for guests with food intolerances).

Superb food and helpful staff. Was very busy even on a Monday night. The food was outstanding.

I ordered through Wolt and was a bit skeptical at first, as I've been disappointed by other delivery services lately. But I have to say: I'm thrilled! I really enjoy sushi and have had many good and not-so-good experiences, but GIN absolutely won me over. My guests were also thrilled. Thank you so much, you made our evening even more of a highlight.

One of the servers was extremely unfriendly. The price of the rickety skewers was prohibitive (€6.50 a pair). The menus offered were not very interesting; you had to order from the menu. The quality of the food was satisfactory.

While the food is good and the portions are generous, the prices are also high, which has unfortunately become "normal" for Degerloch. The time it takes for food to be served after ordering during the lunch break on weekdays often varies greatly. It can take anywhere from 10 to 45 minutes...

Pretty restaurant with nice decor, and friendly service. I ordered the salmon deluxe and it was delicious! The portions of other food are also pretty big. Quite affordable also! Really worth a try 👍🏻 You can also choose to sit outside or inside.

I've never eaten such terrible sushi. I shudder to think that they eat it in Germany. It wasn't freshly prepared, but pre-made, and the rice was incredibly mushy—I can't accept that as sushi. The owner's behavior is also awful. He often orders incorrectly, and even when I point it out, he's arrogant. The tables and menus weren't cleaned properly and were sticky and dirty.

Nice service and delicious food.

We've passed by several times when visiting, but decided to try it now. The ambiance is chic without being fancy. The service was both fast and very friendly. I was only slightly hungry, so I ordered two sushi rolls and the crispy roll. The non-alcoholic Ginger Cooler was a blast. Super fresh and beautifully balanced between sweet, spicy ginger, and fresh cucumber. Highly recommended. The sushi came with a small, but not artificial, show effect. Nice.👍 The fact that the taste matched the show was all the more pleasing. The price-performance ratio, considering the quality offered, the service, and the great location, was absolutely OK. We'll be happy to come back.

Both the sushi and the bowl were very fresh, tasty and also pleasing to the eye. The cocktails (with and without alcohol) are also recommended. Overall, the menu offers a large but consistent selection of sushi and Vietnamese dishes. The ambience is cozy and modern, so you feel comfortable and want to stay seated for longer. The service was very friendly. I can recommend the restaurant and will definitely come back.

Tasty food, good, reasonably-priced lunch menu options, and really nice looking plating. What I also like is that there are lunch tea options ( hot and cold) which don’t cost more than the lunch itself like at other places 🙈. The stuff overall is nice but we happened to have once an unexperienced waitress who would rush us with the orders and had a bad attitude. After we complained the senior person took over and it went much smoother. Room for improvement there.

We went there spontaneously before the musical. We were greeted warmly at the entrance and were able to choose a table. We ordered various maki, nigiri and insider out. Everything was delicious and any special requests were also fulfilled.

Anständiges Sushi welches handwerklich gut gemacht war. Besonder der Sushireis war schön locker und körnig. Leider auch hier wie überalll nur eine beschränkte Auswahl an frischen Fisch wie die Standarts Lachs und Tuna. Hygienisch etwas bedenklich die Bambusmatten auf denen das Sushi serviert wird. Hier stellt sich die Frage wie diese keimfrei gereinigt werden gerade im zusammenhang mit rohem Fisch. Preislich alles noch im Rahmen. Schönes modernes Ambiente. Die Trockeneisshow hätten wir nicht gebraucht und ist eher Effekthascherei. Sehr aufmerksamer und freundlicher Service!

A good lunch menu! I found udon noodles and M1 sushi recommendations the best so far!

It was nice, but not mind blowing. The food was good. Atmosphere nice. Bathrooms being super cold is the only real down side. I had a good time, but simply can't remember what I had. The sweet coffee as desert was memorable though.

Not what you expect from sushi We were here for lunch to enjoy sushi with fresh, raw fish - the way you know and expect it. Unfortunately our experience was disappointing. We ordered the mixed sushi from the regular menu and received a platter with 4 nigiri (salmon, tuna, avocado, shrimp), 6 maki and 8 inside-out rolls. The only truly fresh fish was found on a salmon and a tuna nigiri, as well as in the salmon and avocado maki. The rest, especially the inside-out rolls, consisted mainly of cooked salmon. For me, cooked fish has no place in sushi. This was more reminiscent of stremella salmon or something I expect from a can of tuna. The impression arose that fish might have been used here that was no longer suitable for raw sushi and had to be further processed. Overall, the sushi experience was unsatisfactory and I will not visit this restaurant again. For me, Kicho remains the best choice in Stuttgart for fresh and high-quality sushi.

Food very tasty and atmosphere nice. Unfortunately, little to no knowledge of which allergens are in the food. Menu labeling is often incorrect. When asked questions, some service staff roll their eyes. I have raised this point several times and have been assured that they are smart and label the food correctly. Unfortunately nothing has happened so far.

We spontaneously got a place during the week. Sushi and bowls were delicious and perfectly priced. The service was courteous and friendly.

Very good place to eat sushi! We were able to reserve a table for two at short notice on a Saturday evening, friendly staff and a very nice atmosphere. Highly recommended for sushi lovers. The presentation of the food was also very appealing. I would be happy to visit this restaurant again.

Very nice restaurant. I had summer rolls as a starter, but it didn't blow me away that much and I could hardly taste the sauce, it wasn't enough. Then we had mojitos, hardly any alcohol tasted like water with a slight aftertaste of alcohol, we told the waitress and got a new one without any problems, which was significantly better. I then had a coconut curry or something like that, which was super tasty, a little too little sauce, but still tasted great

Bibimbap with soy sauce seasoned meat, rice salad and vegetables is delicious. The rice bowls are generally plentiful and delicious. There is a variety of Vietnamese food, including rice noodles, and the thick salmon sushi is good. Overall, the food and atmosphere are clean. This is my favorite Degeloch restaurant.

We absolutely loved the Gin Sushi & Bar in Stuttgart! The location is beautiful, modern, clean and of an ideal size - perfect for spending a relaxing evening. The food was excellent: the starters, including skewers and fried foods, were fresh and very tasty, as was the soup. The main course was a large sushi platter, which not only looked fantastic, but also tasted impressive. The fresh sashimi, the delicious nigiris and, as a highlight, the gin rolls were particularly enjoyable! The staff was friendly and quick, exactly as you would expect. Overall, a beautiful location with fantastic food and perfect lighting to enjoy a long, beautiful evening. We'll definitely be back!

INSECT IN THE FOOD!!!!!! VERY IMPORTANT READING!! I ate there for the first time today and I only had bad experiences. First of all I would like to say that the service was ok. Then we come to the food. My edamame were really dry and not properly salted, even though the menu said sea salt, but none of them felt really bad. I complained about it and then got a new one. It was also very nice that they did that, but it was still dry. All I can say is that it was really bad. Then the second was my main course I ordered a chicken teriyaki and ate that too and then I saw that there was an insect in my food. I complained about it too and I've never heard such a bad excuse. He said because there are so many lettuce or vegetables and that's why it could be that the insect is inside. Then I thought it was logical that there are insects in there at home. I also have to clean the vegetables thoroughly because I know that there are all sorts of things in there, but in the restaurant it's something completely different. He also said that the room was simply too small or that the chef didn't see it properly. I'm a hotel manager myself and for us such excuses don't work at all because we do something that can please our guests or do something well. Then maybe I thought I might get a discount or something on the house or something. They didn't do anything, no trouble, nothing, so I paid the whole price, which was the greatest disgrace. I think it's a real shame because they've now lost a customer. The manager or whoever should please train the service staff so that they can handle complaints well. Because it doesn't work like it does today. That was the very last time. Best no stars. Wouldn't recommend it at all.

I am disappointed with my experience at Gin Sushi Bar. On Sunday I placed an order via Lieferando and also received an order confirmation. After 50 minutes I received a message that the driver was already at the restaurant to pick up my order. But after another 20 minutes, I received a text message saying my order was canceled. It is extremely unprofessional and disrespectful that the restaurant makes me wait over 1 hour before they cancel my order. I understand that unforeseen circumstances can arise, but in such a case the restaurant should cancel immediately and not take my money first and then make me wait for over an hour. It's unfortunate that the customer service here is so poor. I will definitely share my experience with others and will not order from this restaurant again.

The food was delicious, the atmosphere was nice, and the service could have been more attentive. But I was very annoyed that I couldn't redeem my voucher. You have to specify this BEFORE ordering. Unfortunately, this was not mentioned anywhere, nor is it mentioned on the voucher. Very annoying because I thought I was treating myself to something with the voucher and ate more expensively than I actually would have. Of course I can come again and redeem the voucher, but now I had expenses that were not planned!! Dear GinSushi Team: Please write the information on the vouchers that you should specify payment by voucher before ordering. This way you don't have this really unpleasant situation

Beautifully decorated, this sushi spots speaks to those who enjoy the lavish presentation over variety. Most of the sushi is tuna & salmon. Not focused on fish variety or Japanese traditional recipes. Pho was very basic. Meat slices were tough. No extra fresh herbs or toppings were provided. Overall, a nice spot for dinner, but didn't win me over on taste enough to return regularly.

Solid Vietnamese restaurant with nice decor and ambience. The prices for the normal main courses are okay (picture 2), but the salad (picture 3) for the same price was unfortunately very small and doesn't even come close to a normal main course. We didn't try the sushi. The salad was very tasty, but my companions found the food rather bland; a little more seasoning would have been good for the meal. Unfortunately the sauce was too watery.

It was our first time here but definitely not the last time. My parents gave me a “TasteTwelve” for Christmas. A great restaurant, really nicely decorated, nice staff who are very helpful. The food was really delicious. We had the mango salad (something completely new for us but really tasty), the grilled teriyaki salmon and best ocean and what can I say. Simply delicious and the price-performance ratio is also right. We were thrilled and will definitely come back. Please reserve a table, we were there on a Friday evening and luckily we had reserved. The audience is mixed from young to slightly older :-)

A fantastic restaurant with very attentive staff, despite the restaurant being full on Friday evening. The portions are generous and sophisticated. Unfortunately, only the acoustic conditions swallow up the conversations at the table.

Ordered on Saturday evening, correspondingly long delivery time (one and a half hours), but this was already indicated when ordering and was adhered to. Driver friendly and food arrived warm. The broth for the soup was packaged separately. The salad, soup and sushi (filled with more salmon than rice) were great in terms of taste. Reasonably priced. Unfortunately the beef for the soup was a bit dry, otherwise 5 stars.

The Gin Sushi bar has a really great style. The restaurant is a bit smaller and was pretty crowded on our visit. Although we had a reservation we needed to wait for some time. Nevertheless, it's really recommended to reserve a table here. The food was fancy and very delicious, but also quite expensive. The drinks were okay, not spectacular. The service was a bit slow, especially when we wanted to leave we had to wait quite some time to be able to pay. The staff was very friendly though. Overall the place is okay, it has a nice decoration and the food is fancy, but expensive.

A nice restaurant with delicious food. I recommend making a reservation in the evening. The prices are slightly higher than at comparable restaurants. The summer rolls (see photo) disappointed me. For €8.50 I got summer rolls that were 95% filled with lettuce. The cocktails were delicious, but it's unclear to me why the non-alcoholic cocktails cost as much as the ones with alcohol. Overall very solid and high quality. Good for a nice dinner.

Good sushi. But unfortunately you have to leave after 80 minutes even if you don't want to. Staff are standing there with wallets to collect money. Nobody said anything about it when we made the reservation - we were only informed about it when we arrived at the restaurant.

Our teenage daughter wanted to go out for sushi on her birthday, and this was the best gift we could have given her. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and the service was wonderful. We ordered several different types of sushi, and the chef arranged everything into a beautiful tower, with a dry ice "volcano" at the center. My daughter was absolutely thrilled! The sushi was delicious too. I don't know whether or not the menu was particularly adventurous or innovative, but everything was fresh, perfectly prepared and delicious. We will definitely go back for special occasions in our family!

Super leckers Sushi in nettem Ambiente. Ich war jetzt zum zweiten Mal hier und würde jederzeit wiederkommen. Fun fact ist, dass jedes Sushi mit Trockeneis serviert wird. Das ist absolut was fürs Auge und lässt den Besuch zu etwas Besonderem werden.
