INSECT IN THE FOOD!!!!!! VERY IMPORTANT READING!! I ate there for the first time today and I only had bad experiences. First of all I would like to say that the service was ok. Then we come to the food. My edamame were really dry and not properly salted, even though the menu said sea salt, but none of them felt really bad. I complained about it and then got a new one. It was also very nice that they did that, but it was still dry. All I can say is that it was really bad. Then the second was my main course I ordered a chicken teriyaki and ate that too and then I saw that there was an insect in my food. I complained about it too and I've never heard such a bad excuse. He said because there are so many lettuce or vegetables and that's why it could be that the insect is inside. Then I thought it was logical that there are insects in there at home. I also have to clean the vegetables thoroughly because I know that there are all sorts of things in there, but in the restaurant it's something completely different. He also said that the room was simply too small or that the chef didn't see it properly. I'm a hotel manager myself and for us such excuses don't work at all because we do something that can please our guests or do something well. Then maybe I thought I might get a discount or something on the house or something. They didn't do anything, no trouble, nothing, so I paid the whole price, which was the greatest disgrace. I think it's a real shame because they've now lost a customer. The manager or whoever should please train the service staff so that they can handle complaints well. Because it doesn't work like it does today. That was the very last time. Best no stars. Wouldn't recommend it at all.

I am disappointed with my experience at Gin Sushi Bar. On Sunday I placed an order via Lieferando and also received an order confirmation. After 50 minutes I received a message that the driver was already at the restaurant to pick up my order. But after another 20 minutes, I received a text message saying my order was canceled. It is extremely unprofessional and disrespectful that the restaurant makes me wait over 1 hour before they cancel my order. I understand that unforeseen circumstances can arise, but in such a case the restaurant should cancel immediately and not take my money first and then make me wait for over an hour. It's unfortunate that the customer service here is so poor. I will definitely share my experience with others and will not order from this restaurant again.

The food was delicious, the atmosphere was nice, and the service could have been more attentive. But I was very annoyed that I couldn't redeem my voucher. You have to specify this BEFORE ordering. Unfortunately, this was not mentioned anywhere, nor is it mentioned on the voucher. Very annoying because I thought I was treating myself to something with the voucher and ate more expensively than I actually would have. Of course I can come again and redeem the voucher, but now I had expenses that were not planned!! Dear GinSushi Team: Please write the information on the vouchers that you should specify payment by voucher before ordering. This way you don't have this really unpleasant situation

Beautifully decorated, this sushi spots speaks to those who enjoy the lavish presentation over variety. Most of the sushi is tuna & salmon. Not focused on fish variety or Japanese traditional recipes. Pho was very basic. Meat slices were tough. No extra fresh herbs or toppings were provided. Overall, a nice spot for dinner, but didn't win me over on taste enough to return regularly.

Solid Vietnamese restaurant with nice decor and ambience. The prices for the normal main courses are okay (picture 2), but the salad (picture 3) for the same price was unfortunately very small and doesn't even come close to a normal main course. We didn't try the sushi. The salad was very tasty, but my companions found the food rather bland; a little more seasoning would have been good for the meal. Unfortunately the sauce was too watery.

It was our first time here but definitely not the last time. My parents gave me a “TasteTwelve” for Christmas. A great restaurant, really nicely decorated, nice staff who are very helpful. The food was really delicious. We had the mango salad (something completely new for us but really tasty), the grilled teriyaki salmon and best ocean and what can I say. Simply delicious and the price-performance ratio is also right. We were thrilled and will definitely come back. Please reserve a table, we were there on a Friday evening and luckily we had reserved. The audience is mixed from young to slightly older :-)

A fantastic restaurant with very attentive staff, despite the restaurant being full on Friday evening. The portions are generous and sophisticated. Unfortunately, only the acoustic conditions swallow up the conversations at the table.

Ordered on Saturday evening, correspondingly long delivery time (one and a half hours), but this was already indicated when ordering and was adhered to. Driver friendly and food arrived warm. The broth for the soup was packaged separately. The salad, soup and sushi (filled with more salmon than rice) were great in terms of taste. Reasonably priced. Unfortunately the beef for the soup was a bit dry, otherwise 5 stars.

The sushi to take away was really tasty, but I would recommend eating it fresh there because the quality of the sushi suffers from to-go. Otherwise a solid choice. The fried sushi also has its raison d'être. Therefore 4 stars overall

The Gin Sushi bar has a really great style. The restaurant is a bit smaller and was pretty crowded on our visit. Although we had a reservation we needed to wait for some time. Nevertheless, it's really recommended to reserve a table here. The food was fancy and very delicious, but also quite expensive. The drinks were okay, not spectacular. The service was a bit slow, especially when we wanted to leave we had to wait quite some time to be able to pay. The staff was very friendly though. Overall the place is okay, it has a nice decoration and the food is fancy, but expensive.

Great selection of sushi, bowls, soups and more. The restaurant is cozy and clean, the music creates a pleasant atmosphere. The waiters are very friendly. I celebrated my birthday there and would like to come more often!

A nice restaurant with delicious food. I recommend making a reservation in the evening. The prices are slightly higher than at comparable restaurants. The summer rolls (see photo) disappointed me. For €8.50 I got summer rolls that were 95% filled with lettuce. The cocktails were delicious, but it's unclear to me why the non-alcoholic cocktails cost as much as the ones with alcohol. Overall very solid and high quality. Good for a nice dinner.

Good sushi. But unfortunately you have to leave after 80 minutes even if you don't want to. Staff are standing there with wallets to collect money. Nobody said anything about it when we made the reservation - we were only informed about it when we arrived at the restaurant.

Our teenage daughter wanted to go out for sushi on her birthday, and this was the best gift we could have given her. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and the service was wonderful. We ordered several different types of sushi, and the chef arranged everything into a beautiful tower, with a dry ice "volcano" at the center. My daughter was absolutely thrilled! The sushi was delicious too. I don't know whether or not the menu was particularly adventurous or innovative, but everything was fresh, perfectly prepared and delicious. We will definitely go back for special occasions in our family!

Super leckers Sushi in nettem Ambiente. Ich war jetzt zum zweiten Mal hier und würde jederzeit wiederkommen. Fun fact ist, dass jedes Sushi mit Trockeneis serviert wird. Das ist absolut was fürs Auge und lässt den Besuch zu etwas Besonderem werden.

We were actually disappointed after seeing all the positive reviews. Food was a bit tasteless and one should be aware that Japanese cuisine uses raw fish. In a new first for me, we were told that we "wanted to pay" whilst still dining as they were about to close. Way overpriced for what one gets.

Waren zu zweit zum Abendessen dort. Nettes, gemütliches Ambiente, klasse Service und sehr leckere, frische Speisen. Fazit: Uneingeschränkt empfehlenswert! Wir kommen wieder.

Wirklich gemütlich, Essen sehr gut und das Personal super freundlich - man wird abends auch nicht gleich "pünktlich" raus geschmissen...^^

Ich hatte vorneweg die Gyoza die wirklich lecker waren und als Hauptspeise die Barbarie Ente. Die Qualität der Ente war wirklich gut und die weiteren Zutaten waren auch alle frisch. Die Atmosphäre empfand ich auch als sehr angenehm. Im großen und ganzen.....Empfehlenswert

War jetzt schon öfter dort und muss sagen, dass das Gesammtparket passt.

Gute Qualität, manches etwas teurer. Waren paar mal schon dort, auch in Gruppen zu Geburtstagen und es war immer top. Aber würde sagen, wir haben nun endlich einen Lieblings Sushi in unserer nahen Umgebung gefunden! Wir durften uns auf Nachfrage einen anderen Tisch raussuchen. Das Sushi-Mix-Set wird vom Koch selbst zusammengestellt, jedoch wurden meine Wünsche mit einbezogen, das fand ich sehr zuvorkommend. Allgemein waren alle Bedienungen immer sehr höflich. Auf das Essen mussten wir auch nie lange warten. Kann es empfehlen, aber lieber reservieren! Kommen auf jeden Fall immer wieder gern vorbei.

A very pretty and cozy place to enjoy tasty Japanese cuisine. We had the salmon and tuna pokebowls and the Sushi Mix (definitely a lot of food for three people). The service was very polite and quick. A minus would be the leafy greens of our plates as they were not well chopped and we had a hard time eating them, as well as the tea that was not well strained. All in all definitely worth visiting!

Für die Qualität ist der Laden überteuert. Ambiente ist sehr schön.

Haben uns nicht wohl gefühlt, als jüngere Person hat man da wohl nichts verloren. Essen ist teuer, vor allem die „special rolls“ für fast 17€ (8 Stück). Essen hat zwar geschmeckt, jedoch bekommt man gleich gutes Essen auch wo anders und das preiswerter & in einer angenehmeren Atmosphäre.

Die Speisen sind lecker und das Restaurant ist in Degerloch beliebt und meiste Zeit voll. Preise haben Luft nach oben und können 30 Prozent weniger sein aber für Degerloch Einwohner soll in Ordnung sein.

Super Essen, super Ambiente und auch super Service. Ich hatte nichts zu meckern.

Wir waren zum ersten Mal zu Gast, da hat alles gepasst. Freundlicher, flotter Service. Essen war lecker und sah gut aus. Beim Ambiente haben sich die Besitzer viel Mühe gemacht. Tendenz, dass man eng sitzt. Das muss man wissen, je nach Tisch. Aber sonst gibt es da nichts zu reklamieren. Preise mit 2-5 Euro "Degerloch-Aufschlag" je Gang.

Wir sind sehr oft dort - meist zum Mittagstisch in der Pause - dieses Mal sogar Sonntag. Wie immer - sehr leckeres Essen - wobei es für mich immer eine Überraschung ist, was ich bekomme, da ich mich mit den Namen der Gerichte noch nicht so vertraut gemacht habe. ABER - das Geld allemal wert :-) Der Service war flotter und fähiger an dem Sonntag, als an manchen Tagen Werktags. Wobei sie sich immer bemühen - das muss ich schon sagen :-) Zum Parken kann ich nur das Parkhaus an der Epplestraße empfehlen - sonst hat man wirklich Probleme, soweit man mit dem Auto kommt. Wenn hilfreich - gerne klicken ;-)

Fazit vorweg: Einmal reicht - hier wäre man gern mehr, als man ist. Ich hatte noch nie einen so schlechten Aperol-Sprizz wie hier. Einfach ekelhaft. Das Sushi Menü war schön angerichtet mit Trockeneisvulkan - jedoch hätte man sich letzter lieber gespart und besseres vor allem nicht so primitives Sushi auf die Platte gelegt. Für ca. 20 EUR bekommt man hier eine übersichtliche Sushiplatte mit dem billigsten Sushi was Japan und Co. zu bieten hat. Gurke-/Avocado und Lachsmaki. Wenig kreativ wenig Geschmacksexplosion. Meine Sommerrolle vorab war OK. Alles in allem einiges zu teuer, für das, was man geliefert bekommt. Da ich dort nicht wohne und nur zu Besuch bei einem Freund war und dieses Lokal aufgesucht habe, war es wohl das einzige Mal.

Essen ist sehr gut und toll angerichtet. Eine große Auswahl vorhanden. Preis Leistungsverhältnis beim Mittagstisch sehr gut.

Essens war Hammer und die Inneneinrichtung war wunderschön die Bedienung war mega nett.

Heute konnte ich das erste Mal das Restaurant besuchen. Meine früheren Besuche scheiterten einige Male, da ich keinen Tisch vorbestellt hatte. Ich habe einige warme Vorspeisen und eine pikante Suppe und den schmackhaften Algensalat gegessen. Das Essen war sehr ansprechend dekoriert und sehr schmackhaft. Die Rechnung war oberes Preisniveau. Die Bedienung war sehr aufmerksam und ausgesprochen höflich und nett. Insgesamt ein angenehmes Abendessen. Ich komme bestimmt wieder.
