Great ambience. The inn is very nicely designed. We received a very friendly welcome and the food was excellent. We had a wonderful evening.

At first glance the food looked very good. The meat was done to the desired degree, but the sauce lacked flavor. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The ambience was also very appealing.

Became aware of the Schlemmerblock. It's very remote if you don't know. Very nice staff, delicious food, sufficient portions! Child-friendly, lots of space around you and easy parking. We'll be back, probably in the summer on the great, large sun terrace.

Definitely not recommended for allergy sufferers and people on a vegan diet. People with other diets are not taken seriously here. On July 6th, 2024, I ordered Pasta Aglio Olio, which the waitress said was vegan when asked. I also ordered a salad, for which I added a vegan cheese alternative to the kitchen, as the restaurant doesn't offer anything similar. And will never be offered. - Offered to the waitress that she could try the cheese, her only reaction was that she preferred meat... - Well, there was Parmesan on the pasta. I pointed this out to the waitress and she took the plate away. She came back with the same pasta, only with as much of the parmesan removed as possible. Since I don't like throwing food away, I accepted it that way. The waitress should have agreed this with me beforehand. The pasta was also a bit too cooked and therefore slightly lumpy. By the way, there was yogurt dressing on the salad instead of vinegar/oil - I just didn't say anything more about that... An allergy sufferer also ordered the waffle only with banana for dessert, with the note that all other fruit should be left out because she is an allergy sufferer. Well, there were various types of fruit on the waffle... At least a fresh waffle was delivered blank. The staff here definitely needs to be more sensitive and take their guests seriously. Training is urgently needed here. I'm actually only referring to one waitress, I can't judge the other staff, except that they were all nice. My mood was dampened but the other guests at the table were happy, hence a benevolent 3 stars.

We were there for the first time and were pleasantly surprised by the ambience and service. It's a lovely place to sit on the Neckar and the staff is nice. Unfortunately we were very disappointed with the food. We ordered Cordon Blue with spaetzle twice. You had to look for the cheese in the meat, it was dry and the spaetzle didn't taste good at all. This meal was definitely not freshly prepared! It's a shame, because if the food matched the rest, it would be a good place to eat...

We ate here with a Groupon voucher and were absolutely satisfied! The portions are large enough and very tasty - contrary to some opinions. Great ambience and nice service. Food was there immediately. Gladly again:)

A very nice restaurant in truly green surroundings. Very nicely done, plus the Neckar. Rump teak was outstanding. I would recommend there to everyone. A small salad and cream with bread as a greeting from the kitchen.

A feeling like you're on vacation. Very good food. Friendly service. We love going out to eat after the outdoor pool. Small dishes/salads are also delicious. Children's chair available. Unfortunately, toilets cannot be reached by stairs and are not accessible for people with wheelchairs.

It was a feeling...holiday feeling describes it aptly. I enjoyed the evening with my LG and the atmosphere was simply beautiful. The food was delicious and we will come back :-)

The food was mostly very good, only the spaetzle was extremely soft. We sat with a great view of the Neckar. Service was good and friendly. The light decoration should flash a little less.

I went there for dinner with my best friend today. We had our dog with us and sat on the beautiful terrace. A great location in itself, but after just a few minutes we noticed mice under the tables. At first it was just one that we noticed because our dog jumped up. However, upon closer inspection there were at least 3. The food wasn't worth the money. The spaetzle were far too soft and not homemade. For a total of €60 for 2 beers and 2 meals it was unfortunately disappointing. We left over half of it standing. Then I went in and ordered the bill and pointed out the mice. The boss just said that the mice thing was normal because of the neighboring Neckar. Unfortunately we were very disappointed.

The location is quite nice. The drinks were good. The schnitzel with fries and salad was not what I expected in several ways. There was an atypical mixture of spices and salt on the schnitzel. The side salad with white yogurt sauce. But I can still live with that. But what I find cool is the price performance. In my opinion, the taste quality of the schnitzel and fries is on the level of a sausage stand or a cafeteria. I would pay a maximum of €10 for it - but it costs €22.90 😄 It is also on the menu as an XL schnitzel, but overall it is a rather small portion. Why do you do that? Overall just disappointing, but 2 stars because the staff tried hard and were friendly.

After a sudden rain, completely wet in cycling clothes, I was warmly welcomed by the staff for a cappuccino. Very nice atmosphere, inside and outside on the beautiful terrace under palm trees right on the water.

Nice terrace and very tasty food, the salmon fillet was excellent.

Good, hearty cuisine and super nice service, nice terrace in a pleasant, quiet location with a view of the Neckar. What irritated us a little was the decoration of the dinner plates. We had schnitzel and cordon bleu and it was probably decorated with Blue Curacao liqueur.

Everything seems a bit tired, with the exception of the large dining room, including the bowling alley, which is used as a baby changing room. Service and operators are very helpful, polite and courteous. There was brunch, everything was beautifully presented but of varying quality. The warm dishes were already very dry when the buffet opened.

Food was great! The baguette as a greeting from the kitchen wasn't really my thing, but it doesn't detract from the whole thing. We will be back :-)

Just outside, nice and quiet and right on the Neckar. Inconspicuous from the outside, you are surprised when you enter. When setting up, an attempt was made to create an elegant atmosphere. The service is super nice and very attentive. You feel welcome as a guest. The menu is manageable, but completely sufficient. Whether meat, fish or vegetarian - everyone will find something. The food was delicious, very well seasoned and also sufficient in quantity. Ketchup and mayo were served with the meal without us asking - also not an everyday occurrence. Price-wise, it's also completely okay. Unfortunately we couldn't enjoy the terrace due to the weather. Only the parking lot and the outdoor area could be made a little more attractive - but that doesn't detract from the enjoyment. All in all, highly recommended, we will definitely come back!

Very good offer, delicious food

We actually wanted to go to the Hotel Huhn - but since the club was having a party, we had to look for another restaurant, and so Google Maps told us that this restaurant was nearby. The name was so good that we became curious and went straight there. You can zoom along the dirt roads with your scooter and get there in under 10 minutes. The inside looks very modern - it's supposed to give you that modern lounge feeling of a hip, high-end restaurant - and yes, that brings it across well. There are many tables outside or with rattan chairs so you can easily find a place. The service comes promptly and is very friendly, the restaurant is animal friendly, there were no problems with Dotty. We ordered a breaded turkey schnitzel with fries and a small salad without dressing. As an appetizer there was a glass of couscous served with two slices of white bread. The salad was served first, made with pieces of white bread, melon, iceberg and lamb's lettuce, carrots, red cabbage and cucumbers. As a known salad refuser, I gave it to Dotty, who ate almost all of it. A short time later the schnitzel came and - wow, childhood memories - that's how I was served it back in Austria, the fries were crispy, slightly too salty but edible, with Hellmens ketchup and mayonnaise. The schnitzel was not gristly, perfectly prepared, the breading was crispy but not burnt, nice orange-brown, good all around. The garnish on the plate is also worth mentioning. In summary, you can say that this is a hip location where you can also eat well, the menu is a bit small but nice. In addition to schnitzel, there is also spaetzle and pasta dishes. All in all, we would love to come back again.

Very nicely located on the Neckar. Super pleasant atmosphere with palm trees. You're happy to stay there. In terms of service, the staff was great. Very friendly. But things didn't go so smoothly today. My salmon came a little later than my husband's boiled beef (with wasabi, awesome) and was therefore a bit dry and the fried potatoes were a bit soggy. In terms of spices, however, it tasted excellent. In return I got an elderberry spritzer (highly recommended) on the house. Great gesture. We only found out after 10 minutes that the raspberry sauce for the ice cream was out. It's a shame. Of course we will still come back. Was a very pleasant stay.

Letztes Jahr hier gewesen und waren total begeistert. Der jetzige Besuch, zum lecker Essen, war eine absolute Katastrophe. Das Ambiente ist zwar der Hammer, aber das Essen war das Letzte ! Da wurde wohl der Koch gewechselt? Schwäbisches Schnitzel wurde mit Trockenkräuter und Koriander bestreut, die Pommes waren kalt und lummelig. Die bestellten Paninis waren Aufbackbrötchen vom Aldi und voll mit Korianderpaste und Essiggeschmack ... undefinierbar, einfach nur pfui. Die Nudeln total pampig gekocht ... Geschmack konnte man suchen. Alles in Allem: weder deutsch, noch italienisch !!! Enttäuschung ist hier ganz groß geschrieben.

We came here for the first time when our friends got married here. We are so excited and will definitely come here more often. Even if just for coffee. The service is top. All your wishes will be taken into account. The food tastes so delicious. You can taste the good quality with the first bite. We also like coming here because we feel really comfortable, the atmosphere is right, you have enough time and you can have conversations with the boss and the other staff.

It was really nice to sit outside under the great Hawaiian umbrellas right on the Neckar on May 1st and let yourself be pampered. The price-performance ratio was just right and the dishes we ordered were really very tasty, the schnitzel was well breaded and freshly fried, the salad was crunchy and dressed with a great sauce and the lentil patties were a special treat with that special something thanks to the great spices and sesame absolutely delicious. Comfortable to sit in, right on the Neckar. Food very good. The beer, Hochdorfer Kellergold, is also very tasty. The staff is extremely nice and very accommodating. Friendliness is very important to everyone here. Very quiet location and a nice atmosphere.

Wir haben das Restaurant "Genuss im Grünen" gestern besucht, ich war zum ersten Mal dort und vom Geschmack, der liebevollen Zubereitung der Speisen (wir hatten das Rumpsteak bestellt und auch die wirklich leckeren Dessertkreationen probiert) und der sehr freundlichen Bedienung sehr positiv überrascht. Da hat alles gestimmt, nur eines stimmte uns nachdenklich, sehr wenig Gäste, es liegt ein wenig abgelegen und es ist Winter (Erkältungswelle oder Couch-Potato-Syndrom?). Dennoch würde ich allen an gutem Essen Interessierten einen Besuch wärmstens empfehlen. Apropos wärmstens: Obgleich es draußen sehr kalt war, war das Lokal sehr angenehm temperiert. Wie geschrieben, da fehlte es an nichts, es gab sogar, wie sonst nur in wesentlich hochpreisigeren Restaurants üblich, einen Gruß aus der Küche um die Wartezeit - obgleich diese gar nicht so lang war! - auf das Hauptgericht auf angenehme Weise zu verkürzen.

Ein rundum wundervolles Erlebnis. Die Kellnerin war bezaubernd freundlich und überaus zuvorkommend. Das Ambiente vor Ort ist schön und stilvoll. Direkt am Fluss hat man zudem einen tollen Ausblick. Das Essen wurde zwar nett angerichtet, konnte aber Geschmacklich nicht herausstechen. Das Fleisch war fad wenig gewürzt und alles ein wenig kühl. Dennoch hat uns das Restaurant GiG überzeugt und wir kommen gerne wieder!

Lage ist nett. Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Essen war in Ordnung aber nichts großartiges. Ich hatte das Schnitzel mit Spätzle. Die Portion war sehr gut.

Wir waren neulich das erste Mal seit Langem mal wieder dort und hatten uns sehr auf ein leckeres Abendessen gefreut. Leider wurden wir sehr enttäuscht. Das nicht ganz günstige, medium bestellte, Stück Rostbraten war eher medium rare und so durchwachsen, dass man einige Stücke nicht zerkauen konnte. Die Spätzle dazu waren gut. Dazu wurde uns als Tagesgericht ein Cordon Bleu mit Pommes angepriesen. Dieses war leider überhaupt nicht durch und voller Zwiebel. Als wir den Zustand des Fleisches angemerkt haben wurde das halbe Stück Fleisch zurück in die Küche genommen und genau dieses wieder zurückgebracht. Als Versöhnung bekamen wir einen Espresso aufs Haus angeboten, aber der hat die Enttäuschung über das Essen leider nur mäßig gelindert. Echt schade.

Ambiente top, direkt am Neckar gelegen, Betreiber gibt sich sichtlich Mühe, dass es etwas gehobener ist. Unseren Geschmack hat es leider nicht getroffen, allerdings hat die Bedienung hier super reagiert, daher gibt es trotzdem 4 Sterne. Und Geschmäcker sind wie man bekanntlich weiß unterschiedlich.

Tolles Essen wir kommen gerne wieder

Wir waren im September mit Freunden mit einem Gutschein von Groupon für das Restaurant "GiG Genuss im Grünen" in Ludwigsburg zum essen. Der Gutschein beinhaltet 4 Hauptgericht A LA CARTE, inkl.Aperitif. Wir Frauen haben den gegrillten Lachs gegessen, welcher auch gut war. Die Männer bestellten sich das Rumpsteak 250gr mit Pefferkruste und Bratkartoffeln. Geschmacklich war nichts auszusetzen. Leider mussten wir feststellen, dass das sogenannte 250 gr Steak - wenns hoch kommt - gerade mal 200 gr leicht war und die Bratkartoffeln aus ca. 1 -1,5 Kartoffeln bestanden. Unser Resümee ist, wenn man mit Gutschein kommt, man wohl eine "Gutscheinportion" bekommt. SCHADE!!!!🤷‍♀️

Preis- Leistungsverhältnis passen hier überhaupt nicht zusammen. Hohen Preise - kleine, nicht so beonderes leckere Portionen. Bei drei bestellten Essen ist eines erst eine halbe Stunden später gekommen. Da waren die anderen zwei schon mit dem Essen ferig.

Wir waren da heute zum essen. Aufgrund der guten Bewertungen sind wir hingegangen . Das Lokal liegt direkt am Neckar. Sehr schöne Terrasse. Vielleicht hatte das Team heute einen schlechten Tag da es vom essen her sehr enttäuschend war. 2x Zwiebelrostbraten mit selbstgemachten Spätzle a 27,90€, 1 x Schwabenteller Preis??, 1x Steak mit Pfefferkruste, knusprige Bratkartoffeln 31,90€. Alle 4 Essen waren kalt,auch der Teller nicht gewärmt ,beim Steak gab's keine Pfefferkruste und es wurden einfach Pommes serviert, ohne nachzufragen. Salat extra dazu bestellt. 3x nach Essig und Öl gefragt. Wurde nicht gebracht. Der Nebentisch hat dann ausgeholfen. Aperitif Aperol wurde lieblos ohne Eis und Orange serviert. Der alkoholfreie Aperitif war mit gefroren Früchten angerichtet. War wenigstens was fürs Auge. Auf der Webseite steht nur Kartenzahlung möglich. Wir mussten dann zusammenlegen, da man so viel Bargeld nicht dabei hatte. Bedienung sehr nett aber total im Stress da wohl Servicepersonal ausgefallen war. So eine schöne Terrasse und dann so ein enttäuschendes Genusserlebnis. Schade.

Sehr leckeres Essen, der Service ganz toll

Einfach im Vorbeifahren entdeckt und positiv überrascht. Essen ist sehr lecker und es wird ein „Gruß aus der Küche“ vorab gebracht. Wir hatten eine Maultaschen Suppe, die sehr lecker und reichlich war und das Pilzrisotto. Viele angebratene Pilze und ebenfalls sehr gut abgeschmeckt. Das gibt es einen typisch schwäbischen Beilagensalat. Wir haben draußen auf der Terrasse in der Abendsonne gesessen, mit Blick auf den Neckar.
