Geschmackshütte - Chatka Smaku in Waghäusel

Das war das beste Restaurant in dem ich seit langer Zeit gewesen bin. Wir sind extra circa 50 Kilometer angereist, also haben das Restaurant gezielt angesteuert so wie viele hier in den Bewertungen und ich kann mich nur anschließen: das Essen ist wunderbar. Meine Freundin hat sich gefühlt wie bei ihrer polnischen Oma. Die Pierogi sind super lecker! Die Bedienung beziehungsweise die Chefin ist super freundlich und Gastgeberin mit Herz und Leidenschaft. Ein kleiner Bonus: die Gaststätte ist direkt beim örtlichen Hundeverein und man kann wenn man Glück hat während dem Essen Hunden auf der Wiese beim Spielen zuschauen!

Die Teigtaschen/pierogi sind sehr gut. Der überbackene Schweinerücken mit Champignons und Soße ist köstlich. Die Portionen sind groß. Die Bedienung ist sehr freundlich. Nur zu empfehlen!

Heute hier wiedermal sehr gut gegessen, kein Vergleich zum Essen bei andere. Das verstehe ich unter polnischem Essen( meine Frau ist aus Polen). Hier fühle ich mich mit dem Essen und Ambiente wohl..

Das Essen war gut, leider nur eine kleine Auswahl polnischer Gerichte.

Mein Eindruck von diesem Restaurant ist leider recht negativ. Obwohl es sich als polnisches Restaurant präsentiert, hat man den Eindruck, dass polnischsprachige Gäste nicht im Fokus stehen. Das Personal bevorzugt eindeutig deutsche Gäste und vermeidet es, mit Polen zu sprechen, was eine ziemlich unangenehme Atmosphäre schafft. Die größte Enttäuschung war jedoch das Essen selbst. Die bestellten Piroggen waren stark verkocht und hatten sich mit Wasser vollgesogen, wodurch die Füllung unangenehm wässrig war. Das Hackfleisch war eine absolute Katastrophe; es schien ein Sammelsurium aus allem Möglichen zu sein, inklusive Knorpel, und war stark gewürzt, um seine schlechte und billige Qualität zu kaschieren. Dazu gab es bittere, deutlich verbrannte Zwiebeln, die den Geschmack des Gerichts zusätzlich überdeckten. Ein weiterer Minuspunkt ist der unangenehme Geruch vom benachbarten Gestüt. Ich verstehe zwar, dass dies an der Lage liegt, aber in Kombination mit der Qualität des Essens ist es schwierig, ein positives Erlebnis zu haben. Es ist wirklich schade, denn ich hatte auf authentische, gut zubereitete traditionelle Küche gehofft, aber stattdessen bekam ich ein lieblos zubereitetes Gericht. Es war ein Festmahl nationaler Klischees in seiner schlimmsten Form. Absolut nicht empfehlenswert!

Sagen wir es mal so: Geh nicht einfach hin, sondern renn dorthin! Gosia berät dich bestimmt, falls du nicht weißt, was du essen sollst. Es ist einfach köstlich. Ich habe schon so viele Gerichte probiert und kann mich gar nicht entscheiden, weil sie alle so lecker waren. Der Hamburger von gestern war... unbeschreiblich gut, du musst ihn einfach probieren!

Ein tolles Restaurant mit professionellem und zuvorkommendem Service. Man fühlt sich sofort willkommen. Das Essen ist köstlich und sieht wunderschön angerichtet aus. Außerdem ist die Zubereitungszeit kurz. Die Speisekarte ist auf die Wünsche jedes Gastes abgestimmt. Ich kann dieses Restaurant uneingeschränkt empfehlen!

First off! It feels like visiting family. It's special, simple, yet special! The food is by far the most delicious Polish food I've ever had! The roulades were absolutely amazing—to die for! It has the typical atmosphere of a clubhouse, but that's what makes it so relaxed. A quick chat with the chef, and then his wife comes by with the appetizer. They constantly check on the quality, which we confirm every time with full mouths and satisfied smiles. Please try it; you won't regret it. Best, Diego

We are very satisfied at Chatka Smaku. We come all the way from Karlsruhe and are always very satisfied. The pierogis are a dream, no matter the filling. They offer a variety of pierogis. Whether it's meat filling, Russian, or seasonal pumpkin pierogis in the fall, there's something for every taste. We come all the way from Karlsruhe and love the warmth and hospitality of these people. The owner is the waitress and heart of the place, and her husband is the gracious chef. I'm always happy to be a guest here. Everything is made with so much love; there are no better ones anywhere. The food was incredibly delicious. We ate a burger today 😋😋😋 The bun was amazing, the meat was amazing, and there was a small coleslaw salad. Simply a dream. We can only recommend it.

We went there as a couple specifically to try Polish cuisine and were delighted. The mixed pierogi as a starter were delicious 😋 The side salad was amazing 😋 The roulade with dumplings was fantastic. Simply great. My girlfriend is Polish and that's why we often look for Polish restaurants in the area. This time we found this one. We wanted to go because of the many positive reviews and we were not disappointed. We were given a very friendly welcome by the young lady who was probably also the boss. It's a small restaurant in a club house. Everything is very clean and tidy. My girlfriend immediately started talking to the boss in Polish. The typical clear soup that my girlfriend loves so much was homemade, as were the roulades with dumplings. We also bought piegrogi with meat filling to take home and what can I say, these were also fantastic. The 50 minute journey was worth it. We'll be back.

Fantastic food. Perfect homemade pierogi, including vegetarian options. The menu mainly features meat dishes. There are no vegan options, except for salad and fries. The ambiance is typical of a sports club restaurant, but the food is worth a visit.

The best dumplings in the world! We found it by accident and stayed there forever, tasty, fresh and adequate to the price. Double menu Those for every day of the week, which will suit everyone, and the permanent menu, which is popular with us. Great owner, nice, friendly and always willing to help or advise. Dogs are welcome here, which makes us very happy because we usually travel with our friend. THE BEST POLISH CUISINE AROUND! <3

Mega Polish/Silesian food 😍 like mom used to eat, whoever knows it enjoys it. Have been twice now and definitely not the last time. There are a lot of parking spaces available. Easily accessible with a wheelchair. Small but mighty. Very nice innkeepers.
