Unfortunately, it doesn't live up to the hype. Some of the meat was a bit dry, and the ribs didn't come off the bone as easily as they should. The prices here are definitely on the high side. For example, the tray isn't worth the amount of food it contains, and €5.50 for a bottle of Spezi is also excessive. A shame.

We ate at Guller with friends last weekend and were really excited after watching Robert's numerous videos. We ordered a platter for 5 people; the ambiance is nice, and the food arrived quickly. The pulled pork was very tasty and tender. The brisket, chili sausages, and turkey were also delicious. The spare ribs were unfortunately not convincing, as the meat was quite difficult to pull off the bones and was really tough. In addition, all the dishes on the platter were only lukewarm, as was the mac and cheese. Only the pulled pork was actually quite warm. Unfortunately, we couldn't understand why a platter for 5 people consisted of 4 slices of brisket, 4 slices of turkey, and 4 sausages. In the YouTube shorts, a platter for one person at least includes a slice of each BBQ dish. Accordingly, it was difficult to always divide everything between 5 people. After the waitress asked us during clearing if everything was okay, and we noted that the food was only lukewarm, she simply replied that it's customary for BBQs not to be served excessively hot, as there's a certain amount of time between the smoker and serving. However, as already described, our food was really only lukewarm, including the mac and cheese, and that doesn't come from the smoker. All in all, the food was definitely tasty and by no means bad. However, for the price, the portions could have been a bit larger, the food warmer, and the service friendlier. It took us about 1.5 hours to get there. All in all, we were very hyped beforehand, but unfortunately disappointed afterwards, as the overall experience (as described above) didn't live up to the numerous videos on YouTube suggest. We wish Robert and the entire Guller team all the best for the future and hope that our review has provided constructive and helpful feedback.

Unfortunately, it doesn't live up to the hype. The staff is friendly. The highlight for me was the jalapeno cheddar bratwurst. The pulled pork burger was also well-received. The mac and cheese was also decent. I was surprised by the turkey; I thought it would be very dry. Unfortunately, the brisket and ribs were dry. Price-wise, I have to say €5 less per plate would have been fair. As it was, it was unfortunately too expensive. Drink prices ranged from okay to expensive. An Aperol Spritz was €10.50? The fries were absolutely terrible; I'd almost say I've never had worse. We all agree there's still room for improvement.

We went to Gullers BBQ on a recommendation. The food was delicious; we had the BBQ platter for 5 people, and there were five of us. Unfortunately, the portion size was far from sufficient, which is also a shame that there are only 4 portions of each type of BBQ. The simplest way to adjust the portion size to a sufficient amount would be to serve 5 portions of each type of meat, at least for a platter for 5 people. The side dishes were also too few for the number of people; €160 is simply too much. Tasted good, but unfortunately the portion size was significantly too small.

We had a platter of five. The meat was good, but not worth the one-hour drive. We also ordered the beef rib, which was very good. Unfortunately, we felt the platter didn't come with enough side dishes (there were six of us, but one person practically didn't eat anything). The sides were all very tasty, especially the excellent mac and cheese, but as mentioned, there were far too few, so none of us were full. The price is okay... 230 for six people.

There were five of us at Guller. We probably fell for the marketing. The atmosphere is mediocre. It's loud. The toilet is catastrophic. It says a lot about the restaurant when the toilet is presented to customers in such a state. The platter for five people (men) is really manageable. The sausage is great, the rest is average. Unfortunately, it didn't blow us away. €160 is way, way, way too expensive for the amount offered. Even if the meat is imported from the USA. The salads were good. When you order a platter for five people and then get four pieces of sausage, four pieces of brisket, four pieces of turkey, and four spare ribs, it doesn't really make sense. The paper the meat was wrapped in is completely dissolving. It looks incredibly shabby. When you keep getting trays like this returned, it should be obvious that there is room for improvement. Overall, we found it very mediocre, we definitely won't be coming back, and we refrain from recommending it in any way. Plus, the service wasn't particularly friendly. The plate wouldn't have even been worth €80 to me. Totally overpriced.

We drove there five hours from Dortmund and were really looking forward to the food, but unfortunately, it wasn't as good as we had hoped. The ribs were very tough and tasted like tough smoked pork. The brisket was very juicy and tender, but quite flavorless. The pulled pork unfortunately arrived only lukewarm and was also very flavorless and quite dry. The fries were also only lukewarm and soggy. The turkey breast was okay, had a few dry spots, and tasted okay. The mac and cheese was creamy, but only tasted slightly of cheese and was unfortunately cold. The bread was just a dry, untoasted slice, nothing more. The sausage was actually my highlight; it was very juicy and yet really tasty. According to my companions, the salads were okay, but nothing more. The sauces were all really tasty. Overall, it was too expensive for a barely decent meal and way too overhyped. Not recommended if you're coming from far away or if you have a grill at home and are reasonably good at grilling.

Once and never again.... The food was lukewarm and tasted nowhere near what you'd imagine BBQ to be. The sauces were OK. The fries were soggy. The kids' menu included jalapeños, and they didn't even describe it, and they didn't even mention it when ordering when you see a 2-year-old at the table.... The waitress was also having a bad day. Tables are scheduled for 90 minutes, and we had to wait 30 minutes for our table. It's obvious that the system can't work. The main thing is to generate as much revenue as possible as quickly as possible before your reputation is completely ruined. The price for 3.5 people was €158, which I'd say would have been OK if everything else had been okay. There aren't enough parking spaces either.

We had the pleasure of eating at Guller BBQ yesterday and it was a real highlight. The food was excellent – juicy, aromatic and cooked to perfection. We were particularly impressed by the service. The entire team was extremely friendly and attentive. Special praise goes to the young lady who served us at the end and who rounded off our visit perfectly with her warm manner. When one of the sandwiches was no longer available, we were immediately offered an alternative - professional and solution-oriented. We came all the way from Vorarlberg and we can say one thing with certainty: it was absolutely worth it. The prices are more than fair; given the quality, they might even be a little higher. We will definitely be back and can fully recommend Guller BBQ!

Super awesome authentic BBQ. Never eaten such delicious and high quality meat. The staff is super friendly :) we took an extra 2.5 hour drive to visit Robert and his Guller and convince ourselves of his great BBQ, which we previously only knew from his YouTube videos. And what can I say, it was so worth it. We will 1000% come back. The plate for 2 is easily enough for 2 people. Even had to use the looser foil 🤣

The meat in our BBQ platter for two people was at most lukewarm, not very seasoned and the spare ribs were particularly tough. We recently visited the restaurant and opted for the platter for two. The taste of the food was good, although not outstanding. The quantity was particularly positive – you definitely get enough for two people here. Unfortunately the ribs were not convincing, they were rather disappointing. But as always, it's a matter of taste. The atmosphere in the restaurant was rather hectic. There was a lot of hustle and bustle, so it wasn't really comfortable. So if you're looking for a relaxed atmosphere, this might not be the right place for you. Overall, a solid experience, but with room for improvement.

Unfortunately not at all satisfied, the food was lukewarm and average at best. 160€ for a platter of 5 and then not even something for everyone, 4x minimalist salads, 3x bowls of fries with tiny portions. For me, spare ribs are only good if you can easily remove the meat from the bone. Here I had to laboriously separate it from the bone and the meat quality was also not good. The rest I have to say tasted okay, but if anything it was still lukewarm. Price performance was absolutely outrageous. Incidentally, the toilet looks like the ducts at Frankfurt Central Station, the only thing missing is the smell and a person sitting on the floor. It may sound harsh, but I really wasn't happy. I'm not taking into account the fact that I spent the whole evening on the toilet yesterday, purely as a gesture of goodwill.

It has now become a tradition for me and some of my colleagues to stop by the Guller at regular intervals. At first we were just amazed and extremely enthusiastic about everything. We ate our way through the menu and tried almost everything, it was simply great. The last few times were rather disappointing. At the beginning a waiter complained to us how we managed to come from Lahr and then we were late. (It took us a little longer to look for a parking space./ plus not everyone came from Lahr) So the customer is no longer king as you would imagine. Then we had to realize that the very good pizza had been removed from the program, which was a shame! Meat (BBQ plate): Pulled pork was very dry, but still good. Brisket tasty, but seemed to sit longer. Turkey: was great, spare ribs: very bad. Fibrous, too much collagen, tough, sinewy. We really appreciate Robert and his team, but we have to be so constructive because in our opinion the quality has simply declined. We will also consider coming back in the future. However, the place was full every time, right down to the last table

Lives up to the hype! BBQ at its finest! The large plate is easily enough for 5 people. The house iced tea is also a refreshing change from the sugary alternatives👍🏻You should definitely try the cinnamon roll as a dessert! As a non-cinnamon fan, I thought it was great! Solid BBQ experience but unfortunately disappointing today I've been to BBQ Guller several times and have always really appreciated the food. The beef brisket in particular was a real highlight in the past - juicy, buttery and full of flavor. Unfortunately our visit today was not at the usual level. This time the beef brisket was dry and crumbly, as if it had been in the smoker for too long. Unfortunately, the pulled pork wasn't as juicy as I used to find it. The spareribs, on the other hand, were good and to the point. Overall, the quality of the plate was not convincing for two people - I expected more, especially given the price level. In addition, the staff seemed stressed and overwhelmed today. Unfortunately, the service wasn't as attentive and friendly as I'm used to. I can understand that it can be stressful when the house is full, but as a guest you still want to feel welcome. I hope that today was just a blip, because I've always enjoyed being here so far. Perhaps it would be worth considering whether the strong demand due to growing awareness is slowly coming at the expense of quality. I would like to see BBQ Guller return to the consistency that once distinguished it.

O.K., but not anymore! Yesterday the four of us traveled 145 km to try out the hype. 1. The on-site menu does not match the online menu. The 4 person platter is now a 5 person platter and the prices are also higher. 2. The ambience is good and fits the concept. The toilets are a disaster in my opinion. 3. The food was cold to lukewarm at most! • The side dishes were subpar: The “fries” were burnt, soft, fat-soaked potatoes with no discernible taste. The salads were bland and tasteless. The Mac & Cheese was okay, but unfortunately cold. • Meat: • The bratwurst was awesome! I can hardly imagine what it would have been like if it had still been warm. • The beef brisket had a very intense smoked flavor and was juicy. • The turkey...rarely eaten such a dry, tasteless piece of meat. So dry that even the sauces stuck in his throat. • The pulled pork was dry, tasteless and just not good, plus no smoke flavor. • The ribs, juicy but not really tasty. I had no expectations, I just wanted to enjoy eating, unfortunately that was only achieved with the bratwurst. In the end we had a bill of €196 and were totally dissatisfied.

My colleague and I made a reservation 1.5 months ago and on February 28th we drove 6 hours there and it was just an expensive waste and disappointment The food (platter of 2): 1. the cucumber salad didn't taste like anything 2. the coleslaw was the best part of the whole meal 3. Mec & Cheese pasta was completely mushy and everyone can make the cheese sauce better at home in 2 minutes 4. all the meat, no matter which one, was neither warm nor anything else, and it didn't taste like anything (the BBQ sauces didn't help either) 5. Recommendation Dry beef rib only tastes like fat and a lot of nothing + €20 for bones €10 for the meat on the bone The only good thing was the Fanta and the coleslaw After the meal I just wanted to pay and leave quickly (the unpleasant employee desperately wanted to lighten the mood when he noticed that the meal was a disappointment for us) That was the first and definitely last time. Unfortunately I can't recommend it to anyone, even if I would like to, but the food is technically really sad.

The hype about the food comes mainly from the great videos, of course everything there is juicy... but not with the "Normalo". The portions are large, the platter was for 1 person. However, I didn't get any sausage because it was sold out. When leaving the restaurant, every other guest had these on their trays... I found it quite strange. There is more on offer elsewhere for the money. The food came relatively quickly, even though almost all the seats were occupied.

Known through TikTok and friends, the anticipation for the meal was huge. A BBQ platter and a beef brisket burger were ordered. The platter was amazing, the brisket was incredibly tender and juicy, as were the spare ribs. The sauces were something special, nothing “off the shelf” and went well with the food. The pulled pork was a bit dry, but still perfectly okay and significantly better than other restaurants. The record itself deserves a good 4.5 stars. Now unfortunately for the criticism. Point 1: The beef brisket burger was really incredibly greasy. I don't know if something went wrong in the kitchen or if it was intentional. My hands were literally covered in oil all over and the burger was dripping grease all the way through. Of course a beef brisket is already fatty, but the buns were really soaked in oil. Unfortunately this made the burger inedible. Point 2: We had a table right by the window (table 201). The midday sun hit us directly and it was far too hot for everyone, which was really unpleasant given the already hearty food. Unfortunately there was no way to open the window or open a sunshade. Point 3: the restaurant is quite busy, so the wait staff has a lot to do. The problem is that about 1.5 hours are allowed for each group of visitors before the next guest gets the table. Unfortunately, it took a total of about 50 minutes from the time we arrived at the restaurant until the food was on the table. By the time we finished eating, we hardly had any time left before the next guests arrived, which is why we unfortunately had to forego dessert. Overall, we weren't disappointed, but we expected a lot more due to the hype.

I came across the Guller online and since I live nearby I stopped by with friends. We ordered BBQ plates. The furnishings are comfortable and the service is good. The sausage was very good. The Mac & Cheese completely suited my taste, with a slightly spicy note. The beef brisket was fantastically tender with a nice crust. The spare ribs were good, a nice smoky flavor. The meat in general was of very good quality. The turkey was juicy and was well seasoned. The Coleslow was good. Now to my point of criticism. Unfortunately I have to say that the pulled pork wasn't that good. It was very dry, the sauces added saved it a bit. My friends also found it dry. When we got to the pulled pork it was already cold, even though we are all very fast eaters. There are definitely still adjusting screws that need to be turned. Possibly by slightly delaying delivery of the pulled pork so that the dish is still warm. For fans of BBQ, I can recommend everything except the pulled pork.

Good afternoon, after a long reservation, this long-awaited day finally came. We came with a group of 8 people who were very hungry and were looking forward to the food, which is a big hype. Since we were told that only plates would be made when there were 5 people, we had to order plates where one plate cost 160 euros. Picture was uploaded. What you can see on the plate was really a total failure and very, very dry and not good, except for the sausages that were gone. The meat seemed to us as if it had been there for a long time, and as I said, if you like to eat then you know about food, but that has nothing to do with food anymore!!! But what I can say is that the service is very, very nice and deserves more than 5 stars and another restaurant. I strongly recommend not to go to this restaurant, a shame for the time and money!!!!

Super friendly service, boss comes to the table every now and then. The food is amazing. This is BBQ as I know it. Had the plate for one person, see picture. The taste and portions were more than sufficient and very good. The sausage with jalapenos and cheese is a poem. The spiciness comes slowly but not too violently. Only the toast, instead of raw, briefly roasted on the grill would be the star for the 100 points. We'll definitely be back. Update: Everything has gotten a little bigger and so has the selection of food. The staff is super friendly, including the new employees. The food has gotten even better. It remains my favorite BBQ restaurant. Class.

I had the pleasure of experiencing the Super Bowl at the Guller iRestaurant in Lahr and it was an absolute highlight! The authentic American BBQ cuisine was a culinary delight. As a passionate griller, I of course really wanted to try out the hyped BBQ. We had the BBQ platter, the kids menu Texas BBQ and the Cheddar Jallapenos Bratwurst + Mac/Cheese + Cole Slaw. Actually my wife wanted the Jalapeneo menu. Answer: We don't. Then she wanted pulled pork with mac/cheese and salad. Answer: Pulled pork is not available individually. Then she was forced to choose the bratwurst. We didn't come for the bratwurst... On my BBQ plate there were 3 slices of turkey, 2 brisket and 1 bratwurst. When I asked why I didn't have any pulled pork or spare ribs, the answer was that you were on vacation (4 days already over) and that's just how it is.??? What makes a good BBQ and what I actually came for and what is also included on the BBQ tray, i.e. pulled pork and spare ribs, were simply not available. I was only of secondary interest in Turkey. If I go to a BBQ and don't get the main ingredients of the hyped "favorites", then that's beyond disappointing. And any excuses like “vacation” or anything else are ridiculous. It was Sunday evening at 6:30 p.m And making a video about how we plan well and don't want to throw anything away is ridiculous when you only have 5 main ingredients on the menu anyway. Especially when you know exactly how many people are coming and it is always fully booked. And the statement in the video "At the BBQ we value that everyone gets everything" ......probably not that much emphasis is placed on it... I'm sorry, but I don't understand that. So don't come on Sundays... It could be that everything isn't there anymore... The service was good, the guys and girls were nice and friendly and it was quick too. Recommendation - No Would we come back? - I don't know why.

Since we are directly from the region and have a hobby of grilling/BBQ ourselves, we went to the Guller to understand the internet hype. (Basically, we are not people who would travel hundreds of kilometers across the world for food). Robert is someone who knows how meat works, for us the question was whether he (his team) could deliver it to the masses at the same level. Visually/atmospherically, the restaurant has been in hibernation for a very long time. We were placed in the winter garden and it was uncomfortably cold, even when the door wasn't open there was a draft. This definitely needs to be improved. The four of us had a plate and we were all full. The meat is of good quality. The strength was really the meat, Robert's philosophy is BBQ, very basic salt/pepper, smoke and the necessary time. The spare ribs and beef brisket as well as the homemade sausages were really tasty and to the point. The turkey was juicy but didn't have much to say and was lost in taste. But now to what was unfortunately not a 5-star kitchen. I was a bit disappointed with the pulled pork, which was dry and bland (for me it was the BBQ puzzle piece on the plate that could best be saved with sauce etc.). None of the side dishes were anything special. The cucumber salad had a lot of water, and I've often had better colesaw. The friezes were over it. The BBQ bread and the mac 'n cheese offer no added value. The service was attentive, but here and there cutlery and crockery fell through the dining room throughout the evening. Transferring the homemade iced tea from a 10 liter plastic bucket at the counter into the glass dispenser wasn't the best moment for the hard-working young team either. I've been struggling for a long time because I would like to give it 3.5 stars. Objectively speaking, unfortunately it only ended up being 3 stars because I'm ignoring the personality cult surrounding the likeable-looking social media celebrity and just rating the experience. Everyone has to decide for themselves whether they really have to travel from the Republic for this. Respect for still wanting to bring BBQ with decent meat quality to the masses.

Insufficient value for money and disappointing service We drove 55 miles to visit this store based on a friend's recommendation who was probably influenced by social media and marketing. Unfortunately, we couldn't understand the hype. The prices are high - 37 euros for the record is not justified in my opinion. The pulled pork was okay, but neither particularly good nor bad. It hardly justifies the price. The waiting time was particularly negative: We waited around 45 minutes for the food, which was stressful given our limited time window of 2 hours. It felt like "eating in piecemeal" and was overall not very relaxing. In total we paid 75 euros for two people. In my opinion this is simply too much for what is on offer. If you live nearby you might be able to try the store, but I don't think it's worth the long journey. Overall a 3 out of 5.

I would give it 4 out of 5 stars overall - the ambience bothered me a little. More on that at the end. I'll start with food: The two of us had the BBQ platter. The ribs, for example, were very tasty, but a little too chewy for me. But given the quantity, it could be that others were better. The pulled pork is deliberately not seasoned with BBQ sauce, but I've had better. Brisket, chili cheddar sausages were very good, but I have no comparison. Turkey was a little too dry for me personally. Mac n Cheese were delicious and nicely flavorful, but I don't have any comparisons there either. It should be positively mentioned that the boss was also on site and was very friendly. The negative thing is that you actually only have the table for 90 minutes and the times are written on a piece of paper, which means you are always under a bit of time pressure. We were only able to get to the table about 10 minutes after the reserved time and it was already 30 to 35 minutes before the food arrived. And then the stress begins, especially when dessert is planned. That's a real shame. I think you should put the idea of profit in the background and make 2 hours of it. Especially since people will definitely drink something. Would I go again? Yes. Would I take the extra 3 hour drive again? Rather no.

Rarely have I had such a bad restaurant experience… We came here from Munich on the recommendation of YouTuber Max, supposedly it's his best BBQ spot ever. But it was pure disappointment right from the start: First of all, they didn't want to reserve a table for us because everything was probably fully booked. However, when we arrived there were many tables free and they remained free the whole evening. And even though there weren't many guests, we were served very slowly and reluctantly. When the food finally came, we were very hungry, but unfortunately it didn't help much... All types of meat, from brisket to turkey to pulled pork, were very dry - and simply didn't taste good. It wasn't dripping with juice like in the videos and had no smoker flavors at all. Maybe you cook differently when influencers come but unfortunately it was really, really not good. The sides were also really bad - the mac and cheese were completely cold, and all the salads and bread were just below average. The only thing that was halfway good was the sausage, but you can get that at every Christmas market stall. Sauces not worth mentioning either. But what was “good” is that the portions are large and you could take some home with you. But we were given aluminum foil (no joke) and we had to pack everything ourselves - again outrageous. I've eaten below average BBQ before, but this just topped it all - unfortunately. I don’t understand the hype and influencer reviews at all. Not worth the trip - not from Munich anyway. Too bad.

The trip from Darmstadt was totally worth it. We were welcomed very nicely. The service was really super nice and attentive. From videos on YouTube we had really high expectations when it came to the taste and quality of the meat and we weren't disappointed at all! The food simply made you happy and it also bought you a nice event because you could share the plate with friends. The four of us ordered the plate for €145 and still had a lot left to pack. The quantity was absolutely sufficient! It's also worth mentioning how good the fries and mac 'n cheese were. The owner Robert is also such a nice person who runs his restaurant with heart and enjoys talking to his guests. Very happy again!

We drove an extra 160 km to test whether the hype was really justified. The conditions were very friendly and the food was really good, only the pulled pork and spare rib were a bit dry, which I found really unfortunate. The rest was really very good and the sauces were also really tasty. We would go back if we were nearby, but we wouldn't do another 160km there. One last point of criticism - the video said that dogs are no longer allowed in the restaurant, which isn't entirely true. I love animals, but if you say they aren't allowed in, you should stick to it.

We had dinner with the family at Guller's. I can't understand some of the bad reviews. The food wasn't cold, but rather warm enough. Of course, if you need an hour to eat, it's your own fault. The conditions were very friendly and accommodating. The style of the restaurant is based on American diner. You should actually know that beforehand. All in all we were very satisfied. The meat was delicious. Everyone has to decide for themselves whether it lives up to the hype. We would definitely do it again.

We all ordered the BBQ platter for one person. Pulled pork was still in very coarse pieces and over salted. The smoked sausage wasn't my thing but that may be a matter of taste. Mac n cheese was wonderful. Unfortunately, my brisket was just a dried out piece of brisket with almost nothing but crust. Ribs were good and had a lot of meat on them. The main problem however - Almost everything was cold. All in all, I was very disappointed - maybe my expectations were just too high. As far as the service was concerned, we were unlucky enough to get the unfriendly guy from Lahr. Maybe we would have given the whole thing a second chance, but when you're served with such a lack of enthusiasm, you don't feel like it anymore. All in all, good quality, but poorly delivered.

We drove over 100km to try Guller in Lahr and what can I say? It was 100% worth it! If you're looking for a real smoker experience where meat isn't just served but celebrated, this is the place. Right from the start you notice the relaxed and friendly atmosphere that makes you feel welcome. We opted for the “platter with everything” so we could try out the entire menu – and that was definitely the right decision. Every single bite was a highlight. The brisket was tender and literally melted in your mouth, as it should when cooked to perfection. The ribs? An absolute dream! Juicy, full of flavor and with a glaze that simply makes your mouth happy. The coleslaw also deserves a compliment – crisp, fresh and just the right accompaniment to complement the heavy meat dishes. The homemade sausages were also a delight, nicely seasoned and fried to perfection. But the biggest surprise of the evening was definitely the bread pudding - we wouldn't have expected something like that in a BBQ restaurant. The pudding was so good that we immediately asked for the recipe and were even allowed to take it home. It was a perfect ending to an already perfect meal. You can just tell that the Guller cooks and grills with passion. The quality of the meat is outstanding, the preparation is precise and the taste is simply unbeatable. Barbecue is not only served here, it is lived - a place that is unparalleled in Germany. Conclusion: In terms of meat, it's a dream and hard to beat. A visit to Guller is a must for all BBQ fans, and anyone coming from further afield won't regret the trip. No matter whether brisket, ribs, sausages or the sweet surprises at the end - everything is of the highest quality and perfectly coordinated. We are already looking forward to our next visit!

We were some of the first people there on a Friday. The store is located directly on a busy main street, but offers little to no parking space. The entrance is not immediately visible at first glance. We were warmly greeted by a server and taken to our table. Robert Guller was also present, but didn't even look at us. Even when walking past, no “hello” or other greeting. We ordered a platter for 2 people and a drink each. Our food arrived after less than 5 minutes! The first 2-3 minutes were a delight. Delicious juicy brisket that falls apart and melts in your mouth. But then unfortunately things went downhill. Unfortunately, the food got ice cold very quickly. In the end it's no longer much fun fighting through the cold meat. What also didn't help was the careless way the food was served. You get the record. Everyone has a small plate plus cutlery and a cheap napkin. There is no spice rack with salt, pepper or anything like that at the table. The sauces come in paper cups. No house sauce in the bottle at the table to take away if necessary. No toothpicks or wet cloths to clean your hands. For the hefty price you pay here, I expect something more than just a platter of meat. Cinnamon roll was good, cheesecake was terrible. All in all, I would say it's worth a visit to experience it. But I won't visit the restaurant more often.

We had the pleasure of eating at this amazing barbecue restaurant and all I can say is that it was a real taste experience! The platter we ordered was not only plentiful, but was very good for four people. The briskets in particular were our absolute favorite – very tender and full of flavor! The fries were also a highlight and went perfectly with the other dishes. The mac and cheese was very creamy. Everything was excellently seasoned and you could really taste the love and care that went into the preparation. A small drawback were the somewhat blunt knives, but that's really a complaint at a high level. Overall it was a wonderful experience and I highly recommend this restaurant! We'll definitely be back!

There were two whole cinnamon rolls and six pieces that were divided. The floor in front of the toilet urinals was wet and slippery.

Not recommended, too salty and dry. We are extremely disappointed. We were looking forward to a large, juicy, delicious portion of BBQ. Unfortunately, despite the long journey, we didn't get that. We ordered a platter for 4. It was less filling than expected, but ok. The real problem was taste and consistency. The ribs and the brisket in particular were very, very dry and had nothing to do with the products advertised. In general, we also found that the fries, the brisket, the grilled sausage and especially the pulled pork were absolutely oversalted. Very disappointed, really didn't taste good, wouldn't come back and can't recommend it. The service wasn't really convincing either; for example, we weren't “sold” any tap water. It doesn't work at all in my opinion. There was no pizza either, but no explanation. Waiting time was okay, just under 45 minutes. Ambiance was okay but too crowded and not special at all, toilets looked like club toilets, dirty wet floor, maybe better in the beer garden in summer. It's a shame, because the price-performance ratio in particular is very bad. Too bad.

I've been there a total of 4 times since 2023. Unfortunately more and more disappointing. Each time the portion gets smaller, colder, drier and it gets more expensive. Almost too small now. At the beginning the service was overloaded, but nice and attentive, in the middle it was very good, today, in my opinion, unqualified. Parking situation is also miserable. I liked coming here, especially because we only drive 30 minutes. But today was probably the last time. Unfortunately. Unless something changes for the better again. Which would be really great. The ambience is good, the tables are occupied several times. In our case we had 2 hours to eat. Since the meal took an hour, we didn't have time for dessert at the end. The meat was tender but otherwise not exceptional. The fries were totally over salted. Gravy and fries came in paper containers. Personally, I don't understand the hype and in the end I regretted spending almost €170. Maybe something special for meat eaters every now and then.

The three of us shared the largest portion (4 people stated). Got fed up OK. Meat was dry and cold, the cucumber salad is grated cucumber without dressing or spices. The entire menu doesn't contain a gram of salt except for the loaded fries, which are suddenly so completely over-salted and over-seasoned that we had to argue about who had to eat them empty. Depending on the person, the cinnamon roll for dessert was sometimes half the size of the other person. Staff completely incompetent and helpless, although nice and polite; The only one who didn't eat with the large plate ordered a pulled pork burger; This one was supposedly empty and she should choose something else. But there was a double portion on our plate and we had to change it manually at the table. Why this wouldn't have been possible in the kitchen is a mystery to me. 200+km journey because we only heard good things, disappointed on every level; For the 60€ I could have cooked 3 better Sunday meat dishes and would actually have been full and happy.

Food and drinks came quickly. Beef brisket was delicious, the bone of the ribs was still attached to the meat, that's not possible. Salad was bland. I was there for breakfast. I couldn't recommend the value for money. The food was nicely presented, but the cucumber slices were already dried out and the arugula was a bit stale. The yogurt with fresh fruit wasn't great either. The service was very friendly and prompt. The ambiance was also nice.
