Sorry, but to me, this isn't a beer garden as we know it. They've set up a few benches and a beer stand in the middle of nowhere, and they haven't even managed to renovate the ruins in three years. The one star is for the quick beer tapping.

We made a quick stop on our bike tour today; the beer garden was truly unkempt. When we saw the price of the beer (€3.00 for a 0.25 liter), we thought it was a joke, but when we saw the price of the coffee (€3.00 for a small plastic cup), we just shook our heads. Sorry, but our bike tours will definitely pass this beer garden in the future. It's a shame, really; something like this is missing in Northeim.

The operator considers it more important to evict "illegally parked" people from his parking spaces than to take care of his guests. And his reactions to criticism on this point speak volumes. Hospitality doesn't work that way.

Westerlange 7We've been enjoying eating here for years. It's thanks to the great atmosphere, the delicious food, and a truly fantastic team who are always friendly and attentive. We always get the feeling that everyone here really enjoys their job. Our son always gets his lollipop after dinner (even if he's not with us sometimes :-) )
