We were there on a Wednesday and chose the lunch menu. The food is cheaper, and everyone should be aware that the portions are smaller. The service was friendly, the food was tasty, and the portions were reasonable for the price. The kids' menus were okay, although for €8.90, they could have been a bit more substantial. It was clean, the food was tasty, and the service was okay.

Very unfriendly staff! The cocktail was delicious, and so was the wine! We won't be back, though; we were treated like we were a nuisance!

Very tasty, especially the gyros and the Metaxas sauce are excellent.

We weren't satisfied, so we ordered saganaki, which tasted okay, more like convenience food. Okay, the half a tomato and six lamb's lettuce leaves on the side were ridiculous. Then we had bifteki and gyros, a dry affair. The gyros were juicier but flavorless.

Unfortunately, the food wasn't that good. The fries were, in my opinion, oven-baked. Some parts of the gyro weren't quite cooked through.

Portions are decent and very tasty.

For me, this is one of the best Greek restaurants I've ever been to! The food is absolutely delicious and the portions are just right. I've never had a bad meal there and I'm always happy to go back! The prices are quite high, but the quality and, above all, the taste are great! The staff are also top-notch! Friendly, attentive, and always smiling! There was apparently an internal change, and I was worried that the quality would suffer. But that isn't the case, and everything tastes just as it always does! I really hope this restaurant can continue to be around for a long time! A definite 5 stars from me!

We stopped by Nikos on holiday to try some Greek food and they made us feel really welcome straight away. The place is pretty modern with a cosy terrace and great sea views. We liked lunch so much we came back for dinner the next day. The food was really good and you could tell they use fresh ingredients. They had a nice choice of wines and cocktails too. With good food, drinks, and friendly service, we had a really nice evening. Big thanks to everyone there, we’ll definitely be telling our friends about it.

Great restaurant, warm and friendly staff, very attentive in a pleasant way (not intrusive). Typical Greek food is very tasty. If you're expecting the classic white cabbage salad, you're in the wrong place. You get what's on the menu, freshly prepared with a personal touch – and within a reasonable wait time. ...in short...highly recommended.

Waiting for a table wasn't a problem, as we had reserved in advance. However, the table was much too small. Our order was taken after about 15 minutes, including the first drinks, which also arrived after about 5 minutes. After that, nothing happened for a while, except that the guests at the other table, who arrived well after us, already had their food. After an hour, our food arrived. No salad beforehand, no bread basket. No ouzo beforehand or in between (well, I don't really care about that), but that's what you're used to from other Greek restaurants. The gyro was also quite small, but there were endless fries. There was also a bit of salad on the plate, but that wasn't a side salad, more like decoration. The service staff also seemed pretty stressed, which is understandable when there are only two of you and the place is full because the surrounding restaurants are closed.

Unfortunately, the fried liver was completely marbled. The worst I've ever eaten. Never again.

Today I tried the food at Nikos. The reception was a bit "frosty." Maybe it was because I had my dog with me? I ordered a gyro, and since there was no salad, I also ordered a small side salad. A glass of Cabernet. A total of around €30. If only it were good... But unfortunately, it wasn't! The gyro was dry and consisted of many small pieces. The fries were soggy. While clearing the table, the waitress asked if it was tasty. Half of it was still on the plate and was returned... I honestly gave my opinion, and then the chef came over and explained to me that everything was fresh and good. If it doesn't taste good, it's my taste. I'll leave it at that... Then I'd rather go to Eleon in Neustadt. They serve gyros "to my" liking!

July 2025: The Nikos Salad was very good, but really bad service, service people did not smile and did not asked if we would like to have something more. No flowers and no candel and no salt & pepper on the table - and sitting on the Toilette you see a notification on the door: "if you see rest of your sausauge, then be so kind and use the brush and clean it". Might be funny. But not in a Restaurant in my opinion

According to the menu and the sign outside the restaurant, lunch is served Tuesday through Saturday. We were there on a Wednesday and were turned away because it appeared to be closed (the door was open and there were probably just too few customers) – that should have been clearly communicated... What a shame and unnecessary!

For the price, there was very little gyro on the plate, and I expect more than just a few leaves of arugula as a side salad. We were there last year and were really disappointed this year. A plus, though, was the service; it was nice, but the wait was long.

I highly recommend this place because everything is handled very quickly. The food was exceptionally good and very noteworthy.☺️

We ate at Nikos several times during our vacation. Whether it was gyros, bifteki, or pan-fried dishes, everything was delicious and definitely filling. Add a delicious lavender rosemary spritz (highly recommended) and the evening is perfect.

The service left something to be desired but otherwise quite good.

My family was spending some well-deserved days on the Baltic Sea and stumbled upon this restaurant. They were particularly impressed by the wide selection of delicious Greek dishes. Homemade food that is unsurpassed in originality. The staff is multilingual (German, Greek, Russian, and English), which is rare these days. They'll be back. Thank you very much!

Tested and...no comparison to the "Rackersberg" Unfortunately there was no small salad, no rice either. It's also on the menu. However, we're used to something different from other Greeks. Disappointed me personally. The taste is so...so.

Service catastrophic! Shop only half full (small shop) but still around 40 minutes until food. This was then even prepared incorrectly, so that another few minutes passed. Taste ok. But just slapping cheese on it doesn't make it a casserole!

Service was great. But food was not so good. Metaxa Gyros didn't taste like Metaxa. French fries were okay. Gyros was quite hard, " overgrilled". The Weizenbeer tasted very strange. It is not possible to give a tip when paying with a credit card.

The location is wonderful, right on the beach. The food was okay, but there is definitely better. Service, our starters were served after a 30 minute wait, but only one of two. The second came sometime after 45 minutes with our main course. I find it steep to charge €9 for a “bread basket” with 4 mini rolls. My son was served a shandy instead of apple spritzer. So yes, leaves one to wonder. I wouldn't visit the store again. You should adapt a little more to the customer and not speak rudely to them. The €120 we left in the store was definitely not worth it

The food was ok, just a bit oversalted. The dogs under the neighboring tables were unpleasant and annoying and started barking with every movement in the room. A cozy dinner in a relaxed environment is different.

We went to the restaurant twice during our vacation. Great food, the steak was on point, the gyros were absolutely high quality. Prices fair, portions perfect. Service was very nice, as was the ambience. We will definitely come back and can only recommend the restaurant. Definitely visit!! Please keep Pelzer Haken.

We stopped by spontaneously today. Welcome was ok. The rest of the service was more business-like than warmly Greek. The prices are quite high, but that depends on the location. The food was perfect, we all enjoyed it. In fact, I know from every Greek that you get a salad beforehand and ONE ouzo as a nightcap... That wasn't the case here. Too bad...

Visited Nikos for the first time today. The employees are very friendly and incredibly fast. The food was really very good and very well priced. We look forward to visiting again.

2021: Awesome! This is definitely not a run-of-the-mill Greek! Our dishes were simply amazing. Everything was seasoned great and the portions were perfect. The offering is also very diverse for a Greek restaurant. Absolutely 5 stars! 2024: Pure disappointment. Suddenly a run-of-the-mill Greek. The food wasn't special at all and our dish (shrimp) was totally sour. When asked, the answer was "that's for freshness". Well, as a fish eater you know pretty well that acid in fish and seafood only serves to cover up the lack of freshness of the fish. Then we waited over an hour for the food and were then very disappointed with the quality. The gyro was already sold out and remained so for the next few days. The waiters did their best, but there weren't enough of them for the amount of people and it was difficult to get drinks. It's just a shame because we were really looking forward to the restaurant.

Super friendly and attentive service! Price performance is absolutely right and the dishes taste really great! Above all, here, like most other Greeks, there isn't a huge pile of fries with every dish.

I don't understand why the "Greek" has a 4.7 rating... Bifteki Spezial or rather dead shoe sole! The name full of fries would be more fitting, because the rest was catastrophic... greasy, dry, the cheapest convenience products... unfortunately not recommended!

Well, the gyro wasn't as great as everyone claims, it was grated too small like carrot salad, not a bit crispy, just flabby. Drinks were nice and cold and the service staff were very nice and polite.

Service staff are unfriendly, dogs are not welcome, if you give your dog a chip you will be looked at askance. There was no salad to begin with. The portions were good enough for a small appetite. We waited over an hour for our food. Sauce tasted like a ready meal and there was only one piece of meat in the chicken pan

The Greek restaurant offers very tasty food, especially the gyros, which we enjoyed twice. Unfortunately we had to wait a long time for the food. However, the service was very nice and friendly. The drinks could be colder. The atmosphere is beautiful with cozy cushions, olive trees and little lights. Overall, a recommended restaurant!

As a couple you are only assigned the cat table. Already a bad start. According to the menu, you can also choose vegetable rice instead of fries. When ordering, the note states that it costs an extra euro. Mh, it's not even on the menu. Ah, we revised it in March (!) and haven't reprinted it yet. Now there is a surcharge. Hello, we've been to Nikos's before. The food is very good. The service is nice and friendly. The only thing that's a shame is that you don't get an ouzo on the house when you're greeted, with your meal or when you pay.

Great again, like the day before yesterday. Today we were able to experience how the waitress and owner deal with guests who are totally disrespectful and unceremonious..... All I can say is GREAT respect!!! I would have thrown them out. 🤷🏻 5* again!

Popped in spontaneously, some places available in the evening. Impersonal reception. The time until the main course arrives is too long. Food OK, a bit bland. Okay for simple food, but not the typical Greek.

Today, May 19th, 2024, I was a guest at Nikos with my three grandchildren aged 3, 4 and 6 and three adults. When we asked for seats, I had the feeling that I wasn't exactly welcome. When we finally found a place outside in the corner, it took a while for the waiter to finally come to us. Then he picked up the drinks and explained to us that our meal would last at least 40 but probably longer. He deliberately took orders from other guests without children who came after us. Well, that's how it should be... We left the restaurant without eating or drinking. Groups with children are clearly disadvantaged here. We will avoid this place. Greetings Thorsten I was able to award the points because I had eaten there with my wife two days before. (without children)

We had 2x gyros pan baked with cheese. Very good portion. We took the rest with us and ate it the next day. It was still as tasty as in the restaurant. When we are back in Pelzer Haken we will come back

It was very tasty and large portion, but quite expensive. But there is still service at a late hour. So we were still very satisfied.

After the service person reacted very unfriendly to our requests, we got up and left again. Although the food will certainly be good, I expect something different when it comes to service. Therefore the restaurant died for me.

Actually we just wanted to go on a bike ride… When we passed Nikos it smelled so good that we stayed. The food was super delicious!! The service was incredibly friendly and nice. A great atmosphere with courteous service and great food. What more do you want!!!

Yesterday we stood in front of a closed door for the second time. Open according to Google! There is no website, only a link to a Facebook page, which is not maintained either. This is really very annoying and we are determined not to let it happen a third time.
