Unfortunately we had to wait 1.5 hours for our food The service seemed very unorganized, first we didn't come at all for a long time, then we were asked twice, which was probably due to the training of new employees, some of whom didn't have the necessary level of service orientation. When we asked where our food was, we were told that maybe 15 people had come before us, then that could happen, but then no more feedback for the time being. A young waiter, who at least offered us the last drinks for free, broke things up a bit. Unfortunately, when the food came, my husband got the wrong dish. We were told the chef said it was on the house. Luckily the food was very good, but in the end the dish wasn't on the house, just drinks and another €5 discount - significantly less than promised. Apparently everyone was having a bad day. We're thinking again about whether we'll come back again. Personally, I don't think it's ideal to sit at a table with other people outside, especially if they smoke. There is a nice playground in the back and a changing table.

Were there for dinner on Sunday. We waited over an hour for two salads. All the guests who came after us had already had their food. When we asked, we got nothing but a stupid answer. Finally the first salad was served, without apology. The second one only after another 15 minutes. Also without comment. The question of whether and how much we would tip was decided by the waiter out of his own arrogance. He did so by keeping the remaining money without comment. Unfortunately, we can no longer recommend you.

Unfortunately, even though we had called in advance to make a reservation (we said on the phone there is always something free for two people, so a reservation is not necessary) we were told: "We didn't turn away any more food." It's a shame! The time was 8 p.m. on a Saturday

We ate in this brewery for the first time on Maundy Thursday, but it won't be the last time, luckily we had reserved a table for 2 early so that we could enjoy this great meal, we had an elevated table with a view of the outside, we each ordered a large Eifel light beer, which was very tasty, we ordered and then ate the fillet of the Duroc pig National Park (with braised onions, mushrooms and herb butter and a grill plate with 3 various beef steaks and the same side dishes as with the Duroc fillet, the taste and quality of the food as well as the quantity were excellent, the service from the employees was very attentive and friendly, we were completely satisfied, you should make a reservation early, absolutely recommended*****

The food is okay and tastes good, you would like a little more pizzazz, at least with the schnitzels, it's quite simple. Unfortunately, the offering is not quite what you would expect from a brewery and the ambience is only remotely that of a classic brewery.

I have eaten there more often, always everything to my liking and delicious, today I ate schnitzel, to be honest it was very dry and not really tasty, so there is certainly no reason not to go there anymore, just don't order schnitzel anymore but order something else from the menu. Normally 5 stars for the food, but only 3 because of the schnitzel

Beer great, service very nice, ambience, pleasant, food unfortunately only snack bar quality. Our schnitzels were completely drowned in hollandaise sauce, with no mushrooms or onions to be seen let alone tasted.

The food and service are great. We have often ordered our food in advance, picked it up and eaten it at home. All highly recommended. However, when the store is full, it is noisy and conversations are hardly possible. A few hikers came in for a table and were then directed to a table with time information. Personally, I don't think it's that nice. Spaces should also be kept free for spontaneous visitors, right?

We arrived at the brewery with 20% of the tables occupied. When service worker A asked where the two of us could sit to eat, the answer was they would choose something. The only table set was for 4 people. As we walked up to it, the male waitress behind the table called out..."This is a 4 person table". We went and stayed here, see picture excellent and were treated kindly. P.S. There was a tip of €15 here...

Really good schnitzels, very friendly staff, but the menu is more suitable for a stake house than a brewery. You somehow expect a different menu, even if the food was really very good

Were here for the first time on March 9th, 2025. The service was very good, friendly and quick. The food was very tasty. The ambience was okay, but it doesn't resemble the “classic style” of a brewery.

Perfectly cooked steak. Fast operation. Busy, reservations are required.

It was okay, nothing more but nothing less either. The typical brewery character is missing, as is the food that you would normally get in the brewery. Everything we got was okay and reasonable for the prices. Staff very friendly and accommodating.

We were super satisfied. Definitely try Duroc pork, highly recommended.

Today was day 1 after the flood for us and what can I say...our expectations were exceeded in every respect. Great ambience...risen from the floods. New style but wonderful. Not overloaded, not over-styled... cozy and in tune with the times. As always, the staff, kitchen and boss are at their best, attentive and close to the customer. The overall package is absolutely successful and THE HIGHLIGHT in the area. It was worth the wait... FASCINATING.... CONGRATULATIONS PS: The T-Bone is one of the many hits...😜 Update 2023 in September.....still at the top...food, drink, staff, friendliness, ambience....oh Watt eats beautifully with you...Chris & Eva 2024 & 2025 Still at the highest level...everything is still perfect...our safe address for good food and a great ambience in Gemünd

Went there for the first time today. Very tasty, good portions, large schnitzel is also big, price-performance ratio is absolutely right. Ambience very modern, in my opinion not necessarily brewery style, but that's just my personal opinion and it doesn't detract from the visit. We'll be back.

Excellent quality and price ratio

We ordered a sirloin steak with pepper sauce and croquettes and a sirloin steak with fries. Our expectations were far exceeded. The taste of the meat was perfect and on point! We learned from the extremely friendly service staff that the meat was prepared on a lava grill. The plate was also beautifully prepared. At least we liked it. The side salad was also perfect for us. The sauce is well seasoned and the salad is not drowned in it. Delicious; We had to order another one straight away :)) In short: At the Gemünder Brauhaus the kitchen knows what it is doing! It takes us a good hour to drive there and it's worth it! Thank you for the friendly service, the nice conversation and the really good food. We'll be back soon!!

Portions are really good. They are much smaller in other breweries like in Cologne. Here you really get something for your money. Everything tasted great.

Food okay, atmosphere appropriate. However, the service leaves something to be desired, certainly not a classic restaurant training. Nasty young people with a display of coolness. I certainly don't demand lock service in a brewery, but at a vet you apologize politely and don't use any words from the fecal language! This never happened with the previous owner! The meat also seems to be sourced from somewhere else than the butcher shop across the street. But still far above the snack level... and you'll always be full! So if you're hungry after a national park tour, you should stop by here. A little more up-to-date communication would be desirable, i.e. if it is temporarily closed, this should also be communicated on the website or at least in the AB announcement. Because that’s where the guests get information first, right?

Unfortunately, the quality is no longer the same as it used to be... charging just under €22 for two ready-made schnitzels is quite steep. It's tasty, but that's every finished schnitzel. Unfortunately it's no longer worth a visit for me

Was in transit and stopped at the motorhome parking space. The operator of the place recommended the brewery to us and we got a table there in no time without a reservation. The portion of the “small” schnitzel is already plenty (it was enough for the day). The staff was friendly and had a good overview of everything.

The food was extremely good, I have never had such a good schnitzel anywhere. The steak my father-in-law had was also delicious. The prices were absolutely reasonable and the beer was also very good. Unfortunately, I had reordered mayo that never reached me, but given the stress the waiter had because the restaurant was so busy, that's understandable and not a big deal for me. You'll definitely see us again.

We were guests on Monday (October 7th) and again on Thursday (October 10th). The telephone reservations worked very well. We were greeted very friendly on both evenings. The service was very professional and never seemed stressed - in other words, the employees really know what they are doing. The selection of drinks offered was very suitable for us. We particularly liked the country beer. On the first evening we had rump steak and Duroc pork fillet. The meat quality and cooking points were phenomenal. On the second evening we had pork loin steak and schnitzel, the dishes were also very tasty. We can recommend the Gemünder Brauhaus with a clear conscience and will definitely visit it again if we are in the area again.

We were there with a group of 7 people and spontaneously got a place. We really enjoyed the beer and the food. The schnitzel menus are very generous, and the steak was also well sized. All in all a recommendation.

Schnitzel with fries and non-alcoholic shandy. Should have given us something to think about since the food was at the table so quickly. Schnitzel was already fried long beforehand, as were the fries. Salad was fresh. The limo was missing from the cyclist. After we reordered these to turn the "beer" into a "shandy", we actually had to pay for it. So eat, well... next time I'll probably go to the chip shop👍

For schnitzel and fans of other meat preparations. The schnitzels are also available in veggie, but I can't say whether they taste good. You can also sit outside nicely.

Due to a lack of alternatives, we went to the Gemünder Brauhaus after a hike. I had the “small” vegetarian schnitzel, which was not small for me but a completely normal good portion; my companion ate a fillet steak, which was very well prepared and a really large portion. Overall, the food was good according to my taste, I was happy about the vegetarian option, otherwise I would have only had a salad. I found the beer selection to be modest for a brewery; 2 types of beer plus 1 wheat, although the beer I wanted to drink wasn't available 😯. We went to the brewery for the first time today, the food was super tasty and the portion was so big, I couldn't make it. I can only recommend it.

We always enjoyed going to the brewery often, even after the flood, and were always very satisfied. Today we were there again after about nine months and probably for the last time. The service was - in contrast to before - absolutely underground! Listless and unmotivated, no request or bon appetit, no asking whether everything is OK or if you would like more drinks and the empty plates were not cleared until the cashier. The side salad that came with the meal was only brought to the table without a word when asked, long after the main course had been served; by the way, this has shrunk to a careless minimum. Fries only consisted of very small and too hard fried pieces that could hardly be speared with a fork. Unfortunately, the schnitzels themselves are no longer the same size and quality as they used to be. It's a shame, so in the future we'll only go to the Erftquelle in Holzmülheim, because everything is just right!

Doesn't work at all. Although a table was reserved for 7:00 p.m., we were very complimented because, according to the statement, there would be no space available "in the foreseeable future." When I replied that we were leaving now, we received a “I don’t give a damn” response. We couldn't rate the food as a result. The ambience seems ok.

So it was more of a dessert - Our table neighbors asked for salt and never got it - Other guests at the neighboring table have been waiting for their drinks for at least 15 minutes, probably forgotten too 😂 But we don't stay that long to find out what happened next 😃 The young man seems to dream more than work. -

When asked if there was still a table available, they could only seat us outside, which of course is not a problem. Unfortunately, we, along with 6 other tables, had to wait 30 minutes before a waiter brought the food to one of the tables. The rest of the terrace had not yet been able to order and was suddenly told that they would only serve again when the rain stopped, which he said would take another 5 minutes. It rained for the rest of the evening, so we wisely left the terrace after seeing what the rain radar predicted... BIG TIP: Fortunately we found a restaurant within a 200 meter walk where the food and service were really good, namely Gemünder Kurhaus & Restaurant.

We didn't eat anything because we no longer liked the neighbor's food. Staff was very unfriendly and out of 3 drink orders, 2 were delivered incorrectly. We used to be very happy, now never again. It almost looks as if there has been a change of ownership. Just a shame.

We've been wanting to visit here for a long time. Great location, fast and attentive staff, delicious food. Very large portions :) A wonderful hostess, always well-groomed outside and clean inside. A must visit!

We reserved a week in advance, but when we arrived they said it was overbooked. So we stood there with 6 people. Ultimately we had the choice to sit outside or leave. The food made up for us a bit, as it was, as always, very tasty.

The food is a 10/10, the food is incredibly delicious! The service is more of a 4/10... Nobody comes to the table and asks whether the food is OK or whether drinks still need to be ordered. Our food wasn't complete, the staff had to be CALLED first so that someone could come - that's a shame. For the ambience, an 8/10. We stayed seated until 9:30 p.m., all hell broke loose outside, the brewery was closed - incomprehensible as a guest... but the operator must know that himself.
