I bought a falafel kebab at Gemini on Albertplatz, and it was really good. The falafel was fresh, the bread warm, and the sauces tasted great. The staff was friendly and the service was quick. Definitely a good place for a quick bite.

The staff were very nice and welcoming, but the sauce smelled strongly of garlic, and so did my mouth afterwards. The food was tasty.

Delicious Syrian food – authentic, fresh, and prepared with love. The staff is exceptionally warm and attentive; you feel like you're visiting friends. The atmosphere is relaxed and inviting. I'll definitely be back.

Gemini at the Old Market impresses with its great atmosphere, super friendly service, and first-class food. Everything is fresh, lovingly presented, and tastes perfect.

There are two bits of plastic rope in the burger meat; it looks disgusting. My child just ate it. The meat is badly seared. Very bad.

One question: Are your leaflet distributors mentally disabled or can't they read? If your mailbox says "No Advertising," then you shouldn't put anything in there; next time you'll receive a complaint.

The food tasted very bland and dry, the person who recommended it to me was obviously lying, because the food was definitely not good. It's still heavy in my stomach. It wasn't worth it at all because I could probably have done it 1000x better at home. However, the people were very polite.

I just recently had food delivered and I was so excited. If you want to eat delicious and authentic shawarma, this is the right place. It's not overpriced, it's fresh and tasty. A little feedback: With a menu outside at the entrance, even more people would definitely enter the store. I think many people are unsure and keep running. I can definitely highly recommend it!

From a distance, Gemini on the Altmarkt looks like a refreshing alternative to the surrounding restaurants. But the first impression is deceptive - unfortunately huge. Fully packed inside, we decided to sit outside. The look inside, where the staff wandered chaotically and helplessly between the tables and counters, gave us the idea that hospitality was hardly a priority here. The chained chairs outside reinforced the feeling that guests were tolerated rather than welcomed. The menu, which we simply picked up ourselves after being ignored for a few minutes, turned out to be a masterpiece of ambition: a confusing, far too extensive selection that, even after the reduction that had obviously become necessary, still went beyond all reason. After much deliberation, I decided on a dish, while my companion, after a twenty-minute test of patience, went back in to order - in the naive hope of speedy service. The ordering process? A farce. The supposed waiter, who was perhaps simply wearing the house t-shirt, stared at the menu as if he was seeing it for the first time and pulled out a small piece of paper to laboriously calculate a bill for us, the result of which was even that questioned the multiplication tables. At some point there was a sum in the room that seemed as arbitrary as the quality of service itself. Is this a restaurant or just a snack bar in the guise of a restaurant? Then came the food – or at least what they wanted to serve us as “food”. Unfortunately it was the wrong dish. When I asked whether the food I had ordered even existed, the waiter's gaze sank into an even deeper depth of ignorance, accompanied by a tense smile that seemed more like exasperation than apology. Out of pure politeness, I accepted the wrong dish so as not to further strain the overwhelming process. The enjoyment? None. The chicken was as dry as sandpaper, the rice was overly salty, the vegetables were unappetizingly prepared, and the dough, which had a chemical aftertaste, crowned the experience. The big-screen TV inside continued to play happily, diverting the staff's attention from the guests who made the mistake of hoping for a modicum of service outside. The conclusion? You either get noise and half-service inside - or you get peace outside and the pleasure of being completely ignored. A choice I never want to make again.

The store is really bad. Hygiene is ignored, I had food poisoning from the food 🤢.

Discovered by chance while strolling with my girlfriend. The map looked interesting and so we gave it a try. To eat: really tasty and interestingly seasoned. We were both very happy with our food. Service: was friendly and, I think, quite quick. Price: 27€ for 2 meals after which we were really full and drinks sounds really fair. Ambience: interestingly decorated. The Arabic pop music playing in the background is certainly not for everyone, but it fits with the general appearance, the staff and the majority of the guests we saw ;D Note: the shop seems to be generally halal. Means: no pork and cocktails and beer only in non-alcoholic versions. But we didn't think it was really that bad.

The food is great. The service is terrible. You order a menu, they bring another one that's twice as expensive, say they were wrong, and in the end you have to pay. And Ellie, if you start complaining, they'll say this is a decent restaurant and get out of here.

The Gemini at the Altmarkt is still relatively new, but is already well received. And rightly so: the staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating, the food is prepared quickly and freshly and tastes very good. The price is also completely okay.

Most meals come with fries, which are definitely delicious. I also had a chicken burger + chicken chesse sandwich. I enjoyed both and would eat them again.

One star for the delivery time, otherwise not recommended. Some of the food was oversalted and not particularly tasty. Far too expensive for the even reduced price. Among other things, there were only 2 tomato slices in the “falafel plate”… Never again.

I had the pleasure of dining at Gemini recently and I can say without hesitation that it was one of the best dining experiences of my life. As soon as I entered the restaurant I was greeted by a warm and welcoming atmosphere that immediately made me feel welcome. The service was outstanding. The staff was attentive, friendly and very knowledgeable about the menu. They took the time to explain the various dishes and wine recommendations to us in detail, which made the entire experience even more enjoyable. The food itself was simply spectacular. Each course was a true explosion of flavors, perfectly prepared and beautifully presented. The ingredients were fresh and of the highest quality, and I was amazed by the creative combinations of flavors. The ambience of the restaurant also deserves special mention. The stylish furnishings, tasteful decoration and pleasant background music contributed to a relaxed yet elegant atmosphere in which you could feel completely comfortable. In summary, I can only warmly recommend the Gemini. It offers a culinary experience at the highest level, complemented by excellent service and a beautiful ambience. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!

The food was so so delicious! Price-performance ratio is so good, we rolled out of there. My tip are the stuffed grape leaves, the taboule and the baba ganoush. Simply exactly how you imagine Arabic cuisine to be. I'm a veggie, but I also really like meat eaters. Keep coming back! 🥰
