Super friendly service. The wait time was perfectly acceptable. The food was delicious and well presented. It was good value for money.

The food is great; it was quite crowded and noisy the day I was there, but that's obviously because it's simply so good and delicious. The view of the Travemünde ferries passing by is fantastic.

Nice and relatively cheap evening meal.

Wir wollten direkt am Wasser im „kleinen Potters“ etwas trinken. Online stand ab 10 Uhr geöffnet. Da dies aber nicht so aussah und Waren verräumt wurden, haben wir höflich gefragt, wann geöffnet wird. Wir wurden dermaßen angepampt, ob wir das nicht sehen würden -dies das. Kein Hallo, kein „tut mir leid, das kann ich nicht abschätzen, ich muss erst die Waren verräumen“ - NIX. Wir sind dann gegangen und die Frau hat uns dann lautstark nachgeäfft „Wann machen Sie denn auf?“ und hat dies mehrfach und in quietschiger Stimme wiederholt. Peinlich und RESPEKTLOS! Noch nie etwas so unfreundliches erlebt.

This wasn't our first visit, and we've always been satisfied. Today, a Sunday lunchtime during the Travemünde Week, the upper deck was only moderately busy. Nevertheless, we waited well over 30 minutes for our food. My wife's bowl of melon and smoked salmon (€20.90) was well presented and tasty, deserving of four stars. I chose beef liver with mashed potatoes and a topping of onions (€17.90). A mistake. The liver, not even remotely sliced, was seared and fried thoroughly. The onions were tasteless, and the same applies to the mashed potatoes made from potatoes that had been put through a sieve press. If this is snow, then we won't be allowed outside next winter when it rains. All in all, bone dry. They should at least serve a small bowl of gravy with it. The fact that the chef, according to the friendly waitress, probably knows the dish from his home country and prepares it differently than we do is of little consolation. So zero stars for this.
