Delicious food, reasonably priced, and fantastic staff.

Wonderful, ladies first, then gentlemen. The good old-fashioned children's parlor still lives on here. The food is just as classic. Honest, good German cuisine. Great!

We had a great meal, and the service was very friendly, a compliment to the kitchen. The ambiance was simple but very clean, and the setting was beautifully done.

Before our immersive theater experience, we ate at this restaurant. It's idyllically located a bit outside of town with a lovely terrace—but thanks to the rain, we sat inside. We received a very friendly welcome, which was certainly due in part to our outfits. It was a perfect start to the evening with delicious food. The weather also improved. We really enjoyed it. Top restaurant! We're from near Stuttgart and are on vacation here. We were here last year, and just like last year, the service and food were amazing! You get a beautiful view even when you sit outside. The staff was very friendly and had a nice chat with us. You have to make a reservation in advance, though, because otherwise it's full, but I understand that because it's really great here. The food was delicious and the price was really reasonable, too. Hope we come back next year. 5 stars for everything from me <3

We had a wonderful evening with dear colleagues. The service was amazing. Super nice, friendly, and suited our mood. A little background music would have been great. Nevertheless, the food was incredibly delicious and plenty for all of us. We were still served even though there was almost no one else there. Thank you so much... ;) and we'd love to come back.

Very friendly staff who take excellent care of their guests! Very child-friendly. They offered us another table even though the outdoor restaurant was fully booked so we could sit away from smoking guests.

Beautifully located on the outskirts of town, between fields and gardens, with a beer garden and a large indoor restaurant area. The staff are friendly, welcoming, and happy to join in the fun. The atmosphere is great; we had a great time. The food is delicious, you choose your own side dishes, and everything is highly recommended, plus the prices are very reasonable. We paid around €22 each for one meal and a large drink. We'll be back. The three girls send their best wishes: Antje, Susanne, and Sandra.

Not far from the main road, yet quietly located in the countryside, the "Schäferei" offers a cozy atmosphere for outings for two, with the family, or even for an after-work mineral water (or something similar ;-)) with colleagues. If the journey by bike is too far for you, there are ample parking spaces. The staff are super friendly and have no problem accommodating special requests regarding the food. Thank you for the very pleasant service :-) The only "drawback": Reservations are highly recommended.

Absolutely fantastic! Four of us managed to get a table at very short notice on Whitsun Sunday. Despite a large group and the holiday, we got our food quite quickly, and it was fresh and delicious. The service was very warm and authentic, and there was laughter and friendly jokes, even though we (unfortunately) weren't regulars. Completely fair prices, a lovely setting, and a good selection. We'd be happy to go back!

When I visit my hometown, I invite my girls over for dinner once a year, and we have a great time. After many phone calls, we found the Gaststätte zur Schäferei, and by chance, they had a few seats available for us. Located just outside the countryside of Görlitz. A quiet, relaxing atmosphere and incredibly welcoming hosts who truly make you feel like you've known each other forever. The food is perfect and delicious; we each ordered something different, and everything was perfect. One tip: don't do what I did: reserve a few days in advance! Thank you so much, and we'll be back!

Super familiar, friendly and attentive owner family. Food was great, the prices definitely were too. It was tasty and the menu had a great selection, I had a hard time deciding. On top of that, there were lots of insider tips for Görlitz and the surrounding area. The three girls were very committed and we felt more than comfortable.

Oh how beautiful it was... We say hello. A Hamburg resident for 27 years, but after this beautiful evening in the sheep farm, we were warmly welcomed back to our original home of Görlitz for a few hours. So in short: the food was great, the drinks were great, the cleanliness was top notch and the service was absolutely great. The girls are simply wonderfully warm, quick and wonderfully talkative. One joke follows the next - exactly our taste. A few honest, serious words in between. The invisible chef in the background does a top job. And all of this for prices that put an unbelievable smile on our faces. Thank you for this wonderful evening. We will definitely come back - you are great 😃🫶 And once more or at least twice a year. Always a celebration like in the family, sincerely recorded, laughed a lot. The prices are awesome, zero comparison to Hamburg - we always come back. We were invited to a birthday party there. The waitress was super cool, the food was delicious and the room was suitable for around 35 guests, so there was even room for dancing.

We wanted to fortify ourselves before a concert in Görlitz and looked online for a restaurant that had been rated well and was easily accessible from a transport perspective - and what can I say: we made the right choice. An extremely friendly and affable landlady welcomed us and brought us a delicious dinner of very good home cooking. When we are in the area again, our path will definitely lead us back here.

We had something to celebrate and went to find a restaurant that was open on Mondays. Here we found what we were looking for and stopped in. First of all, we have never regretted this. And we mean it in an absolutely positive way when we write: It reminded us of the old village restaurants. We found it very familiar here, a warm, familiar tone, relaxed small talk with the staff. If the wedding day falls on a Monday and as a holidaymaker you don't know much about the region, you have to take a certain risk... But we couldn't have had it better: very good and quickly served food and a friendly and courteous staff Service, we were very satisfied and would highly recommend this restaurant!

the medium stake was through. the fried potatoes cold and like pasta. The Ragout Fin was suddenly empty so our son got free ice cream. The service was extremely committed, which can't be said about the kitchen. At 7:30 p.m. guests arrived and were immediately sent away because the kitchen was closed... at 7:30 p.m....

Was soll man da sagen, das nicht klingt wie eine gekaufte Bewertung? Mir als Schriftsteller fällt dazu nichts ein, absolut nix. Wir waren zweimal innerhalb einer Woche hier und es gab beide Male nichts, das nicht perfekt gewesen wäre. Die Atmosphäre, das humorvolle, unglaublich schnelle und professionelle Service von Moni, das entspannte Zuarbeiten von der Bierstation, das gekommte Zubereiten ausgezeichneter Fleischsorten ... da gibt's absolut nix zu meckern. Doch, jetzt fällt mir etwas ein: Die Schäferei ist zu weit von meiner Stadt Wien entfernt!

Wir waren zum Abendessen hier und begeistert. Mein Mann aß Schnitzel mit Pfeffersauce und Pommes, ich Schnitzel mit Champignonsauce und Pommes. Beides schmeckte uns ausgezeichnet, die Pommes waren dünn und knusprig, die Sauce geschmacklich sehr gut und die Schnitzel zart. Obwohl das Lokal sehr gut besucht war, mussten wir nicht übermäßig lange warten. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir die sympathische und freundliche Bedienung durch die Chefin Moni, die, wann immer sie Zeit hatte, auf ein paar Sätze an unserem Tisch vorbeikam und sehr um unser Wohlergehen besorgt war. Mit ihrer herzlichen, fröhlichen Art hat sie für beste Stimmung an unserem letzten Urlaubsabend gesorgt. Auch die Preise fanden wir vollkommen in Ordnung. Man sollte wissen, dass nur Barzahlung möglich ist. Von uns eine klare Empfehlung und weiter so!

Der Empfang im Restaurant war überaus Herzlich,auch für den kleinen "Mucki"(Hund),dem sofort Wasser gereicht wurde. Inklusive einem kleinem Sitzkissen. Das essen war vorzüglich. Die Bedienung war sehr Zuvorkommend. Alles in allem,eine klare Empfehlung! Wir kommen sehr gerne Wieder...

Seit Jahren ein sehr guter Anlaufpunkt für hervorragendes Essen in familiärer Atmosphäre und super Ambiente. Im Sommer nach einer Fahrradtour läd der überdachte Außenbereich zum Ausklang des Tages ein. Dazu gibt es bürgerliche Küche in ruhiger Umgebung mit frisch gezapften Bier, Radler oder passendem Wein. Die Bedienung ist sehr freundlich und umsichtig. Also ein echter Geheimtipp für Radler und Leute die den lauen Sommerabend in Gemeinschaft noch ausklingen lassen wollen.

Hier wird schnelle einfache Küche serviert die auch schmeckt und lecker ist. Chefin und Bedienung echt super und sehr familiär. Schöner Blick auf den Sonnenuntergang. Für einen Besuch lohnt es sich auf jeden Fall. Dann wird man sehen, dass man wieder dahin gehen möchte.
