Back to the roots! Nuremberg's oldest family-run restaurant shines with excellent Franconian dishes. The proprietor doesn't need a menu because the dishes are prepared according to market availability and freshness, using traditional methods! Whatever is fresh is served! No frills or ifs and buts! That's what Franconian tastes like! And the fact that it's only open Friday to Sunday proves that only fresh produce is used here! By the way, there's fresh Schlachtschüssel (sausage dish) every Friday – just like it always has been! Hopefully, this tradition will continue for a long time!

Authentic Franconian cuisine. Everything is always impeccable. Everyone is very friendly and attentive. The food is simply excellent. They have the best liver dumplings I've ever eaten. We always enjoy coming back. There's nothing to complain about here.
