We were here again in 2024 for the New Year's Eve party, always happy - thanks to the Schwanen team for a successful celebration 🥳 small, fine country inn; have been going there for several years, mostly on New Year's Eve; have our “regular room” there; Rooms are simply and comfortably furnished, but always clean; the main road right in front of the door doesn't bother us; the boss and the staff are always friendly and take the time to have a little chat; New Year's parties are always a special event with lots of and, above all, delicious food at buffets; The fireworks are also always worth seeing; We always enjoy coming to the White Swan in Zossen😁

So, watch out. I was eating. Yes, eat. Don't "nibble on a bit of salad" but eat properly. Citizens. Jalapeño burgers, to be exact. And what can I say? This burger was... a poem. Not a boring poem where the first verse begins with “Oh Holder Mai” and as you read it you think: “Am I going to cut my hair or my wrists?” – no, that was a poem with oomph. Juicy, fresh, harmonious, warm - like a freshly made bed after a long day. Let's be honest, the burger was so good, it would probably have its own Instagram account. And the speed at which the thing was served was impressive. I almost expected the chef to come out briefly and strike a victory pose. The fries? To the point. Not too limp, not too dry – they were like fries should be. And the garlic cream? Boy, I could have been fooled. My companion had a chili cheese burger and potato wedges with sour cream. Everything was great too. No “I wish I had ordered something else” face. Everything is round. Now to the location. Let's put it this way: This is not for a romantic evening for two if you think: "Here we hold hands and talk about our dreams." Nope. Three tables with four chairs each - there are no dreams there, only nightmares when you try to find space with your elbow if it were full. And in winter there is a breeze that blows through, which briefly explains to you what cold is. Plus: The drivers – constantly coming and going. You can essentially do live traffic counting. But the food makes up for it. In such a way that I say: “We’ll accept that.” Conclusion: If you're really in the mood for a good burger and don't value having soft classical music played to you or the waiter telling you the life story of the potatoes - then go there. We'll be back. With hunger. And a thick jacket.

Forgotten food twice and was charged €17 for coke, cheeky. Slush ice cream with vodka passed the vodka, weak. (Edit: still, but juter tropes are here, strong)

Inexpensive, tasty, what more could you want? I'll be happy to become a regular customer, and it's never too late for a kebab. Just the other day I ordered two spicy kebabs. In fact, I've never had such a good hot kebab before, no lie. I would love to come back.
