Boy in Zossen

The hotel is nicely located, right on the Notte Canal, by a park, across from water features, yet still in the heart of Zossen. Although right on the main street, it was very quiet, especially at night. The large beer garden by the water and overlooking the park is truly beautiful. The food was excellent, especially the classic dishes like Bullette, Königsberger Klopse, and duck were very well cooked. The Weihenstephan was delicious after a bike ride. Breakfast was okay; on the first day there were few guests, and they served great scrambled eggs freshly made to order. The following days, the buffet was ready-made and not so great. The staff was always very attentive and friendly. The hotel is partially renovated, but there's still a lot of work to be done. The stairwell looked pretty shabby. One of our rooms was freshly renovated and nicely done. Nice little bathroom, but the motion sensor for the light is annoying when the door is made of glass and you always have 10 minutes of floodlight at night when someone needs to go to the bathroom. Unfortunately, the double bed, consisting of two single beds that constantly slipped apart, and the thick, soft mattresses that made you roll off because they gave way too much at the sides were a real bummer. Sleeping was really difficult and uncomfortable. Apart from that, though, it was a nice hotel with potential.

I call these restaurants places of lost selenium meeting places for lonely people.

I love the burgers; they're all inventive, delicious, and freshly homemade. The sweet potato fries are always fresh and crispy. The staff is incredibly hardworking and friendly. Delivery service is also fast. Unfortunately, there are no customers inside; they mostly order online. It would be nice to liven things up. There's plenty of parking, but it's not wheelchair accessible.

Delicious kebab, for 11 euros a big portion, everything fresh. It's worth getting off the highway because on the other side of the street there is a large parking lot, even a tow truck with a double trailer will fit.
