Unfortunately, it's not the Frankenwirt it used to be. The cook is good, but there's a long wait; the food arrives at the table about 30 minutes apart. Then it's cold and the wrong food. Sorry.

Waited over an hour even though it wasn't full, then some of the food was ice cold, and others only got their food long after everyone else had finished eating. It's been a disaster since the reopening. It used to be a top-notch restaurant, but since the new management, it's become a complete catastrophe.

The food was very good and reasonably priced. We had to wait a bit because of the large number of guests, but we had plenty of time. Anyone expecting a restaurant experience should go somewhere else and pay more. We will definitely come back. PS: We had duck breast, goose leg, two schnitzels with fries and potato salad, and there was also a salad bar, all at no extra charge! The four of us paid €79, including three wheat beers and Franconian wine in our tea.

Well, the service definitely needs improvement. The food is okay. You get a single A4 sheet of paper as a menu with about five dishes, which isn't a big deal, but not all of them are available. For example, they didn't have Jägerschnitzel. I wouldn't recommend it.

We wanted to check it out after it reopened. Our conclusion: German cuisine, the food is tasty and reasonably priced. It's relatively loud and uncomfortable. The cold walls and lack of curtains on the windows contributed to our feeling uneasy. A large cafeteria is more comfortable and warmer. Far too sterile and cold. We'll try the terrace service in the summer.

Ate Schäuferla (pork shoulder) – mistake – bone dry. Unfortunately, a flop. The owner sat in the restaurant with guests and smoked 😳 The decor and ambiance were similar to a bad motorway service station. Never again. It's a shame that anyone can open a restaurant. Value for money 👎👎👎👎👎👎 Addendum: It's really a shame that the owner didn't take the opportunity to turn a complaint into something positive. Well, microwaved Schäuferla doesn't get you very far on a Sunday evening. I'm only so upset because my money is irrevocably wasted on such poor quality. Regards, Ronny P.S. Trained Chef

The food, as always, is simply delicious. The Schäuferle (small pork shoulder) is tender and juicy, with a crust that's so crispy! A huge dumpling and plenty of sauce. Always a delight. The ambiance is secondary to me; it's a bit like sitting in a train station concourse. But the excellent service and delicious food simply trump this for me.

So, since the change of ownership, I was back today for the first time. Only cash payments and reservations are allowed; otherwise, no chance. The price/performance ratio is absolutely right. We were lucky, a table just opened up.

Schnitzels are great. The ambience could use a fresh treatment.

Hall ambience with very tasty food and super nice service. Food runs out quickly, arrived at 12 noon on Sunday and there was no more turkey schnitzel and three caraway buns left. The guests who pick up food help themselves to the salad buffet with large bowls. But everyone was friendly and the food was delicious 😋

We were disappointed with the food. The carp fillet had lots of small bones, the potato salad was old, the wine was 0.2 liters, €3.90, and the small side salad was €3.80, amazing. Overall, a shame about the long journey...

Ate very tasty Schäufele, everything else was delicious. It's a sports restaurant with the right atmosphere, but everything is clean and not very expensive.

Franconian dishes are super good and tasty, well prepared and fresh

A very nice sports restaurant with good food. We had carp on Christmas Eve and carp filet was very good. Can just be recommended.

Simply delicious and inexpensive sports venue

We went to the restaurant for lunch with the family on a Sunday. After the friendly welcome, we were able to order our food and drinks. Drinks arrived quickly, but unfortunately we had to wait a little longer for the food - but it was worth it. The carp were hot and juicy and, above all, not too greasy. Schnitzel and cordon bleu were also very good. Reservations are definitely an advantage, as almost all the tables in the restaurant were occupied.

Haben angerufen und für Abends Karpfen bestellt. War sehr lecker, dass werden wir auf jeden Fall wiederholen. Super freundliches Personal!

Es ist eine bodenständige Gaststätte mit guten Essen und freundlicher Bedienung. Ich hatte das Jägerschnitzel, was schmackhafter sein könnte. Die Portion war sehr groß. Ich als Vielesser hab sogar nicht alles geschafft. Der Gastraum ist recht groß und das Bellen eines Hundes hat an meinen Nerven gezehrt. Er wollte sich immer wieder leider schwer beruhigen lassen. Preislich ist das Lokal m.E. sehr günstig.

haben knapp 2 Stunden aufs essen gewartet. Nach mehrmaligen Nachfragen kein Entschuldigung kein gar nichts, von unserer Bedienung. Nach der langen Wartezeit kam dann endlich die Chefin, die auch höflich mit uns kommunizieren konnte. Essen war gut, aber ärgerlich dass der Abend so nervig war.

Super liebes Team, mega Essen!!! Hatten dort Essen für unsere Hochzeit bestellt, es war soooo gut! 100 von 10 ⭐⭐⭐

Das Essen war gut und reichlich, die Bedienung war meines Erachtens ein wenig überfordert, da doch eine ganze Gruppe von Leuten noch zusätzlich zum normalen Betrieb da waren. Aber ansonsten war es okay.

Einfacher, aber gemütlicher Gasthof mit geräumigem, überdachtem Aussenbereich. Essen gut bis sehr gut: Cordon Bleu überragend, Karpfen toll, Schnitzel super, die Kartoffelklösse zum Schäufele sind mir etwas zu bröckelig. Beilagensalat Durchschnitt. Aufmerksamer freundlicher Service, Parkplatz vor der Tür. Preis-Leistung super: Hauptgericht + Getränk für vier Personen für 62 Euro.

Super Essen und große Portionen

Gute lokale Küche. Wir waren alle sehr satt. Wir haben im Terrassen bereich gesessen. Schlechtes Wetter hat keine Chance. Gut um schlossen. Alles sehr groß. Der Deckenbereich könnte etwas überarbeitet bzw. erneuert werden. Wirkte ungepeflegt. Der rest war sauber. Leider rannte ein aufgeregter kleiner Hund der Besitzer hin und her. Dieser bellte erstmal jeden an. Rannte dann weiter und oft hin und her. Neue Gäste, wiederholtes Bellen. Das fand ich nervig. Das Essen war sehr lecker. Ich hatte das Schäufele. Dieses war sehr lecker und ausreichend. Meine Frau hatte ein Cordon Bleu. Das war wirklich groß und selbstgemacht. Von der Menge bei dem Preis ist es wirklich zu empfehlen hier Essen zu gehen. Der Service war sehr schnell, freundlich und auch sehr aufmerksam. Nicht komplett Barrierefrei.

Sehr nette Bedienung essen war sehr gut und nicht teuer kann ich nur empfehlen

Wir waren zum 1. Mal dort und sind voll des Lobes. Das Essen war sehr lecker und sehr reichlich. Die Bedienung war ausgesprochen freundlich, aufmerksam und flott bei ihrer Arbeit. Unser Platz auf der überdachten Terrasse war sehr gemütlich und wir werden bald und gerne wiederkommen.

Extraordinarily good! Excellent place. My daughters and I came from the USA to Germany today and were looking for an authentic German restaurant with authentic German food and good German beer. The food and the kind service completely exceeded our expectations. Our server was beyond kind and nice. We loved the place! Thank you very much!!

Wir hatten Schnitzel das Fleisch war nicht weich die Pommes na ja ,der Salat vom Buffet war ok.

In der Coronazeit hatten wir oft Essen geholt beim Frankenwirt. Das Essen war immer frisch zubereitet und lecker. Jetzt waren wir Mal im Lokal beim Essen. Die Gerichte schmackhaft, reichhaltig und gut gut. Das Ambiente kann leider nicht mithalten. Die Toiletten nicht sauber, der kleine Hund der Wirtsleute im Lokal nervt. Also: Essen gut und günstig, dafür muss man Abstriche machen bei Ambiente und Sauberkeit.

Unser erster Besuch (17.09.22)beim Frankenwirt. Unser zweiter Besuch am (13.11.22).Unser dritter Besuch(25.12.22),Unser vierter Besuch (14.05.23 Muttertag)sehr gute fränkische Küche in einer Sportgaststätte mit funktioneller Einrichtung. Schöner Aussenbereich-Biergarten-Terrasse und überdacht also bei Regen kein Problem und es darf außen auch geraucht werden. Sehr freundliche Bedienung. Salatbar, Essen to go, Hunde erlaubt, großer Parkplatz. Super leckeres fränkisches Essen, ordentliche Portionen zum richtig Sattwerden und günstig. Der kleine Wau Wau begrüßt jeden lautstark, kommt aber nicht an den Tisch um zu Betteln. Mein Fazit: fantastisch fränkisch

Sehr gute deutsch fränkische Küche! Essen schmeckt sehr gut und die Portionen sind groß. Die Bedienung sind freundlich und fix unterwegs.
