Rustic atmosphere, Franconian food, great service!

Rustic, home-style cooking from the region is a top priority here. A few vegetarian dishes round out the offerings. The highlight for me was the large selection of regional beers. The service was very competent and friendly, and the portions were generous, ensuring everyone was satisfied. A large outdoor terrace offers the opportunity to enjoy a beer or two with friends in the shade of the trees when the weather is nice. The nearest subway station, "Fürth Klinikum," is less than a 10-minute walk away. A clear recommendation for anyone who wants to experience Franconian/Bavarian joie de vivre firsthand.

In any case, the food was very good and plentiful. The drinks were excellent, and the service was very good, attentive, friendly, and quick. We will be back!

A typical beer garden under old trees. The Franconian specialties are excellent. The beer always tastes delicious, mostly from small breweries and not the run-of-the-mill beer 🍺 you can get everywhere.

The beer garden is nice, the food is good, but the wait times are extremely long. The beer is tasty, and the selection is extensive.

The food is typical for a Bavarian beer garden, but the portions are much too large for my liking. I ate my bread and butter platter three days in a row... (you can pack the leftovers). The service is super friendly, but a bit chaotic. All in all, though, a nice beer garden.

Unfortunately, the food has been getting worse lately. Bratwursts need to be cooked much longer. Some are still "cheesy white" on the sides. At least it's pork, which should generally be well-done. Schnitzel tastes of nothing. The potato salad, which isn't new, comes from a bucket, in my opinion. The knuckle could have been cooked longer. It also has hardly any flavor or seasoning. You get the impression that things are always being rushed. It's also hard to understand why the dumplings are often sold out. Stocking up on dumplings shouldn't be a problem. Vegetarians are left with only the vegetable frikadelle. Even on the daily menu, there's very rarely a meatless dish. Beer garden or not. But it's not really contemporary anymore. Overall, a shame. Perhaps the boss himself should take a bit more care here. At least if he cares about his guests.

A regular customer for years. Unfortunately, service is in free fall. Hot food times are arbitrarily adjusted depending on the mood. They don't even offer a snack that you just have to grab from the fridge. Unimaginable a few years ago, but now standard fare. Apparently, the restaurant is doing much better than expected. This definitely doesn't generate any revenue and loses regular customers... What a pity. The memories of the "old" Bierhimmel and the excellent management by the ladies remain. 😉👌🏻

It's 9:40 p.m., the kitchen is open until 10:00 p.m. and as a regular guest I've been told several times that nothing is working anymore - absolutely disappointing.

Franconian restaurant with a great beer garden, super tasty beers, food could sometimes be more refined and especially less ready-made products, but it's on the table super quickly, friendly staff. Unfortunately, the prices have increased massively, therefore the rating has deteriorated.

I was here for the first time today, and it won't be the last. A very nice, manageable beer garden with great service. I had the roast pork with dumplings and salad here today. A dream, super-soft meat and delicious dumplings, including a small salad and a beer. I highly recommend it to anyone who likes Franconian cuisine! The prices are also great.

It was our first and last time there. The schnitzel wasn't pan-fried as described on the menu, but deep-fried, and the potato salad didn't look fresh; you know that yellowish tinge. The ambiance hasn't been maintained for at least half a year. Service was unfriendly, and tips weren't even acknowledged. No, thanks, not again. I don't understand the good reviews.

We were here today for the first and last time. I personally don't understand these good reviews. First of all, they don't even serve a Coke. For dinner, we had a snack platter and schnitzel. Starting with the schnitzel, they used a cheap discount potato salad that tasted absolutely terrible, as well as the "pan-fried schnitzel," which, on the one hand, wasn't cooked in a pan and, on the other, simply tasted of nothing and resembled frozen food. The snack platter itself was okay, but the bread slices were cut excessively thick. When paying, we tipped the waitress despite the mediocre service, and she didn't even thank us.

Nice beer garden, lots of regional beers, but mostly from bottles. Krugbräu was on tap. The schnitzel was unfortunately a bit tasteless, and the potato salad didn't help. I'd recommend it, but not for the schnitzel; there are much better options elsewhere.

I always enjoy coming here, even several times a week. The price/performance ratio is absolutely excellent. A great beer garden that invites you to linger. The staff is friendly and accommodating. I can therefore recommend the BiHi without reservation.

Very attentive staff, delicious food, and good beer. Half a mark for the ambiance because it's located at the intersection of two very busy streets. Suggestion: Schäuferle (a kind of pork shoulder), buttery tender inside, crispy on the outside!

About the food: Large portions, very good quality. There were 8 of us and at our table we had Sauerbraten, Schäufele, Schnitzel and Kässpätzle. Everyone was extremely satisfied. The service was on point, quick and friendly. The guest room is classic in style Brewery furnished, exactly what is promised. Hospitable and family atmosphere. We'll definitely be back. Conclusion 6 out of 5 stars. Thanks to the service team and the kitchen!

Schnitzel with potato salad reminds me of various ready meals, you can eat it, but it's not enjoyable. The beer is absolutely great. There is room for improvement.

We were recently in beer heaven at Hexenhäusla. The atmosphere is very cozy and the staff was super friendly and attentive - big praise for that! The roast was excellently prepared and we really enjoyed it. Unfortunately, there was a small setback with the bread for the cheese plate: it was obviously thawed and unfortunately very dry, which was a bit of a shame. The prices are now relatively high - the Schäufala for €18 is quite an announcement and is in the upper price segment. Overall, a nice Sunday with a few drawbacks.

We like to come with the family. It is especially nice in the beer garden. The staff is very nice. I'm just surprised that there aren't any reusable take-away packaging yet. We'd love to come back.

Food top, service too. There's no ambience, but we're there to eat and drink. The only drawback was that the draft beer was completely stale. Then we switched to bottles.

We expected something completely different from the name. The food was really good, although unfortunately one of the cabbage wraps was only lukewarm inside. With “Hexenhäusle” and “Bierhimmel” we expected a corresponding decoration. Please don't misunderstand, but the first impression is that of a former clubhouse. Delicious beers, very good food, great service! There are a variety of different beers. The Schäuferla was very good and a nice portion. The two young ladies from the service were very helpful and very nice. Only the ambience inside resembles a train station hall. You don't understand the person you're talking to.

Salad with tuna is simply overpriced! There's no question that it's beautifully presented and there's a lot on the plate in terms of appearance, but the value may be €4 in expenses then €13.90 for a few lettuce leaves, a few pepper strips and on top of the tuna, well...and Unfortunately it didn't taste good when served with the usual dressing from the side salad! A salad plate with tuna for this price requires balsamic vinegar, olive oil and at least some kind of "guzzele" on top i.e....artichoke hearts, olives, hard boiled egg etc.,...boring, not good and too expensive!! ! But great staff and beautifully presented!

We ate here yesterday and actually had to leave straight away as there was no cola to drink. The roast pork was just average and the pork schnitzel was thrown into the fry and covered in oil. Then gave it to the dogs. The waitress just shrugged and said “oh” to the complaint. Professional is different.

Schnitzel supposedly fried in a pan, according to the menu, a joke, a finished product and prepared in the deep fryer, zero taste, just greasy. The potato salad from the bucket. I've never eaten worse. Normally the rating for this meal should be MINUS 5. NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!

Was a nice beer garden with delicious food

Disastrous beer garden. We reserved a table and wrote in the comment that we had two children with us (strollers). When we got there all the tables were in the shade except for one. This should then be ours. I mentioned again that we have two babies with us and we can't sit in the blazing sun. Then the shift manager (Moni) came and said that she doesn't know what the sun is and if she gives us a table in the shade, the next guests will complain that they have to sit in the sun. When we asked if we could move the table into the shade, we were told “we don’t move tables here”. After a long discussion, we got a table in the shade with a meal ticket. After 2 minutes the waitress came and asked if we knew what we wanted. When we said that we only had one card and that it would take a while until we could all take a look, she took two cards from the next table, which was full, and said flippantly, “Just ask at the next table!” I don't think it's our responsibility to make sure the table has enough cards. We will never visit this beer garden again and neither will the people in our area. It's sad what kind of service there is.

We were there today, it seems like everything is just ready-made food. When we asked in the kitchen whether we could make ham noodles with cheese for the children (they're regularly on the menu), the answer was rejected - it wasn't possible... cheese spaetzle were probably already bought already? There are no fries, no coke and only a minimal selection of food. The first and last time for us.

The spinach pasta with chicken and cheese was good, but a little too little seasoned for my taste and only boring with salt. Service was sensationally friendly and quick. Unfortunately only glass jugs. Small deduction for that.

Total disappointment today, I haven't been there regularly for about a year now... today the ham bread was dry and felt old, the liver dumpling soup was over salted and the liver cheese was floating in the oil, unfortunately not anymore and that was 40 euros

I ate Maultaschen with sour cream yesterday and I can only say it was sensationally good. Very tasty and plentiful.

There was hardly anything going on, but that's no surprise at this time of year. In summer the beer garden is guaranteed to be full.

Nice simple inn, simple househusband/housewife fare, but these are really well made. Everything we ordered was really delicious and just like you want in a pub :). The price is also absolutely okay and in my opinion also reasonable, we paid just under €70 with three people and we were all full and happy :). Despite it being full, the service was really nice and quick. Even though people were probably stressed, they didn't let it show, which is always a huge plus in a bar. I can only recommend it! The only negative point is that as a vegetarian you don't really have much choice, but in a Franconian inn you shouldn't expect a lot of vegetarian food.

We're in beer heaven this Sunday at 3:40 p.m. We were surprised by the new opening hours on site. We thought a quick beer to go would still be possible. Well, it was no longer possible. Mind you at 3:40 p.m. Well, a little more sensitivity would have been appropriate here.

The food is good, home-style, the service is quick, and the atmosphere is reminiscent of old times. I was here in winter, the beer garden is definitely recommended.

The menu written in Franconian made me look forward to a good meal. Liver dumpling soup for 5.60 was a small bowl of pre-bought liver dumplings. Schnitzel was only served with potato salad and it was bought ready-made. A pity. Schnitzel itself is fine, roast pork probably too. Service was friendly, except for the lady who then kicked us out with the excuse that they were closing now, even though there were still guests eating downstairs in the restaurant. Dessert was also refused with the reason “kitchen closed”. I definitely won't go there again. (We were a registered group of around 30 people)

Huge selection of tasty regional beers. The schnitzel was plentiful, but from the deep fryer and not from the pan. Still tastes very good. The potato salad is mayonnaise heavy. Overall quite good with a lot of potential for improvement.

Had a sauerbraten. Very tasty. Dumplings highly recommended. Staff was okay. Just should know the difference between sauerkraut and red cabbage. The dessert was vanilla ice cream with plum jam. However, this was offered to us with cherries. The restaurant is very quaint and clean.

Also bei uns ist alles schiefgelaufen.1 Stunde auf essen gewartet.falsches Trinken gebracht.Kaffe statt Espresso .Bedienung sehr unkonzentriert.wir waren mit die ersten um 5 im Garten und als letztes Essen.Der Garten war voll alle hatten essen nur wir nicht .War peinlich da ich geburstag hatte und meine Gäste sehr enttäuscht waren.Essen war lecker.

Wir sind durch Zufall hierher gekommen. Wollten eigentlich in einen anderen Biergarten. Und das war unser großes Glück. Alles, aber wirklich alles, hat gepasst. Wer noch nicht hier war hat etwas verpasst. Alles super.

Guter Schweinsbraten mit knackfrischem Beilagensalat, in Kombi mit einer Halben sogar als Sonderpreis. Alle Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich und aufmerksam, oft kam jemand der fragte, ob alles passt. Danke an die Servicecrew...:-))) Und zum Abschluß gab es noch einen hervorragenden Rubinettenbrand. Dadurch, daß der Biergarten direkt an der Straße ist, ist es ab und an etwas lauter, hat aber nicht groß gestört.
