Nach langer Zeit wollten wir Mal wieder herkommen. Wir bestellen 3 unterschiedliche Speisen. Schlimmer kann es in keiner Kantine sein.Alles unterirdisch. Alleine die Getränke waren in Ordnung.Schade, aber nie wieder.

After a long time in the Schwabenheimer Hof, I was now inn Zum Anker. Noticeably few guests for Sunday afternoon. Ordering the drinks worked normally. After more than 15 minutes, the waitress came and asked us if we wanted to order anything else. Food came after a while. Food is not hot but already cooled down. Discovered in the hair of the fries. All tables completely dirty. We observed how the table at the neighboring table, where new guests were already sitting, was "wiped" with two short wipers. Napkins from previous guests remained on the floor. Prices for apple juice spritzer 4.60 shandy 5.20. Food is absolutely overpriced. It's a shame about the great location. Check back in 10 years.

We were invited to a wedding here as guests. The food was good. Unfortunately, far too little. For several guests. We left partly hungry. Service was very weak. Drinks came very late or not at all. Sometimes double or triple. Our table wasn't cleared until we left. So everything was on our table from 5 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. and it wasn't very pleasant. Otherwise it was a pleasant atmosphere outside.

We waited 15 minutes for service. Apple strudel was still frozen and only came after the coffee had already been drunk. Nobody knows how sweet a Riesling spritzer should taste. All in all, unfortunately not recommended

Wir kamen mit der Fahrradgruppe von Ludwigshafen nach Heidelberg an dem schönen Biergarten vorbei. Das Ambiente hat uns zur Rast eingeladen. Der Biergarten war gut besucht. Die Getränkebestellung war schnell abgewickelt und mit dem Essen hat es auch gut geklappt. Wir hatten unterschiedliche Gerichte bestellt und jeder war mit der Portion und dem Geschmack zufrieden.

We were away yesterday, very nice location and a nice terrace. The service was very friendly, the tarte flambée was also good, just a bit cold. The prices were OK, but all the negative comments are not entirely understandable.

Not particularly good service. The salad is overpriced, the hand cheese is good. By farmer's bread I mean something different. For me, the mixed bread was out of the bag. It used to be always full here, but today there were only a few tables occupied. I can understand that after today's experience I won't be going there anymore

The location is wonderful, the food is delicious and the tenants are very accommodating. Always enjoy coming here.

We were there at lunchtime today. The location is very good. You sit there quietly and, depending on your space, you can look out over the Neckar. The service is very friendly and okay. It's not a long wait, but you get the feeling that the food is freshly prepared. The food itself is okay, nothing special but suitable for a beer garden. A lot can be said about the price-performance ratio after the Corona special VAT regulation and the high inflation last year, but that generally applies to many pubs and restaurants.

Service was subpar, wine spritzer was more like sweet sparkling water. The sausage salad was okay.

Actually a nice place, but unfortunately the service, price and quality are not up to par here. The farmer's spritzer came in the wrong glass, was far too little and warm, and when you asked that you would like some ice for your drink you only received a grumbling response. The waitress sat next to the entrance and was busy with his cell phone, calls and waves were skillfully ignored. Food was cold, drinks were warm and the service was subpar, that's my conclusion. It's a shame, I remembered the location much better from before.

I can't say anything about the food, except that my mother's apple strudel tasted very good. Unfortunately that was the only thing. All the chairs, the table and even the menus are covered in “little dots” better known as fly droppings. Some people probably know it from the window frame at home. Judging by the number, the table and chairs are almost never wiped down. And if so, the cloth must be dry. I had already suspected it, when I got home I saw that I had smeared all over my clothes in the area where I was leaning my back against the back of the chair - with fly droppings. I had only worn the T-shirt twice!

We were kayaking on the Neckar and stopped by spontaneously. It was a Saturday afternoon (5 p.m.), beautiful weather, and so we were surprised that there was very little going on. The beer garden is very nice. A tree and a high hedge provide some tables with natural shade, the remaining tables are shaded with umbrellas. We were served immediately, which wasn't difficult given the few guests. We ate sausage salad with bread. The sausage salad was really good, could have been a little more, but okay as a snack. Instead of the advertised farmer's bread, mixed bread was served, but it was okay and sufficient. A few minutes after the food was served, I would have liked to order a small pilsner, but then unfortunately there was no waiter in sight. It took quite a while until I finally got my second drink. All in all, everything was okay, what really struck me negatively were the high prices considering a beer garden on a repatriate farm. €3.90 for a small Pils, €6 - €7 for 0.2l wine, €30 for a trout with potatoes if you also order a salad. These are prices like those in Heidelberg's old town - and at Schwabenheimer Hof. Conclusion: Rustic excursion restaurant in the country, but prices like in the big city. Oh yes, something else I wanted to mention - I'm a fan of wine and beer culture: In a rural restaurant in a wine region, it would be nice if you could at least get a real "quarter" for the high price of the glass. And the 0.3 Pilsner can be served in a Pilsner glass - and not in a small export glass. If you're going to charge prices like the big ones, you should also maintain style.

Hello everyone, My girlfriend and I were very hungry after a long walk and passed the country inn to anchor in the dark. The nice people were actually about to close, but they made us two fantastic tarte flambées. So many thanks to the nice, courteous team. Be sure to come back during opening hours. 🫶🏼

Nice place to visit. Food and drink okay so far. Service staff were completely overwhelmed. Far too long waiting times. Reacted to criticism very unprofessionally. I would stay here again, but unfortunately the service staff made it miserable for me. Very unfortunate. Addendum: Thanks for the personal "comment" from the owner of the location. It really shows professionalism to respond to criticism with a smiley. ;)

We wanted to spend a pleasant afternoon in a beer garden when the weather was nice and remembered that you used to be able to eat very well at anchor and enjoy the surroundings. But apparently the tenant has changed recently. First you were ignored for ages, neither of the two service staff brought you the card. When asked, it was finally brought. We voted quickly, but no one came to the table for about 20 minutes afterwards. When we made ourselves known again, one waiter pushed the order onto the other, who in turn took 10 minutes. After a long wait, our food finally arrived. It was just cooked cheese with bread (1 bowl about the size of your hand and 1.5 small slices of bread. For 8.90. Probably from the plastic package and 2 mixed salads with huge lettuce leaves). In terms of taste, it was a zero price. Drinks were forgotten again and were only brought when asked. We also noticed how another guest who wanted to change something later in his order was contacted. I can't change that anymore, I've already entered that. Go into the kitchen and say you are from table xy and say whatever you want. Incredible. When it comes to service, one person doesn't know what the other is doing and so they walk around haphazardly, people are constantly asking people at different tables with food in their hands if they ordered that by chance and then they run away confused again. Sorry, that used to be a top beer garden, but no one needs that. A real shame! Maybe again with the next tenant...

Yesterday we stopped again with our bikes and were very satisfied. The trout and the specially ordered salad were fresh and tasty. However, we think 24.90 euros for the trout with butter/horseradish and triplets is too high. After trying it, we understood the difference between farmer's spritzer and wine spritzer 😆. The Servive was very nice but overwhelmed and we had to wait a long time for drinks. Nevertheless we will come back

Nice to sit but the service was completely overwhelmed. Constantly coming to our table with the wrong food. Then just one meal. The other one took another 10 minutes longer... very weak.

Wir wollten bei schönem Wetter einen gemütlichen Nachmittag in einem Biergarten verbringen und erinnerten uns daran, dass man früher zum Anker sehr gut essen und die Umgebung genießen konnte. Aber scheinbar hat seit einiger Zeit wohl der Pächter gewechselt. Erst wurde man ewig ignoriert, keiner der beiden Servicekräfte brachte einem die Karte. Auf Nachfrage wurde sie dann endlich gebracht. Wir hatten zügig gewählt, aber danach kam ca 20 min keiner mehr an den Tisch. Als wir uns wieder bemerkbar machten, schob der eine Kellner die Bestellung auf den anderen, der wiederum 10 min brauchte. Nach längerer Wartezeit kam dann endlich unser Essen. Es war nur Kochkäse mit Brot(1 Schüssel gen handtellergross und 1.5 kleine Scheiben Brot. Für 8.90.Vermutlich aus der Plasikpackung und 2 gemischter Salat mit riesigen Salatblättern) Geschmacklich ne Nullnumner. Getränke wurden wieder vergessen und wurden nur auf Nachfrage gebracht. Wir bekamen auch mit, wie ein anderer Gast, der etwas nachträglich an seiner Bestellung ändern wollte angepampt wurde, das kann ich nicht mehr ändern, das hab ich schon eingegeben. Gehen Sie rein in die Küche und sagen Sie sie sind von Tisch xy und sagen was Sie wollen. Unglaublich. Beim Service weiß der eine nicht, was der andere macht und so planlos laufen sie auch rum, ständig wird an verschiedenen Tischen mit Essen in der Hand gefragt, ob man zufällig das bestellt hatte und läuft wieder verwirrt weg. Sorry, das war mal ein Top Biergarten, aber das braucht kein Mensch. Wirklich schade! Vielleicht beim nächsten Pächter wieder...

One star is already too much, I had reserved for 2 people, I had the feeling on the phone that they weren't very happy about the customers... friendly is different! And then we stood in front of locked doors, with no indication of an emergency or anything like that Then there would have been understanding, but never again under these tenants! We then found a very good restaurant that is happy to welcome guests!

Stark überhöhte Getränkepreise , reduzierte Speisekarte mit Qualitätseinbussen, trotz schönem Biergarten, direkt am Neckar gelegen, werden wir diesen nicht mehr besuchen. Und selbstverständlich auch nicht mehr weiter empfehlen. Es war ein Lieblingsort von uns! EB und WB

Despite the great location on the old Neckar and a beautiful beer garden, I cannot recommend the inn. The service is very overwhelmed and if I, as a guest, have to be insulted when paying the bill, that is simply outrageous given the prices for drinks. Attention, the Weißherbst spritzer is not a farmer's spritzer as listed on the menu, but costs 7.90 EURO!!!! In the future I'll take my own drinks with me and look for a place on the Neckar. It's just a shame..... The next thing we hear is that the guests are staying away (see also other bad reviews here) and that such an inn business is going down the drain because of it.... Very unfortunate.

In the last 3 years I've been there 3 times, Every time the owner mentioned that the credit card reader was on order and would take 6 weeks to arrive!! In any case, this place is not honest. Only want cash payment, i.e. I was never there!!!

Trotz der tollen Lage am alten Neckar und einem schönen Biergarten, kann ich das Gasthaus nicht weiterempfehlen. Der Service ist sehr überfordert und wenn ich mich dann auch noch als Gast beim Begleichen der Rechnung anpampen lassen muss, ist das bei diesen Getränkenpreise einfach nur unverschämt. Achtung die Weißherbstschorle ist keine Bauernschorle wie in der Karte aufgeführt, sondern kostet 7,90 EURO !!!! Da nehm ich mir doch in Zukunft meine Getränke selbst mit und such mir ein Plätzchen am Neckar. Einfach nur schade..... Nächstes wird dann gejammert, dass die Gäste wegbleiben ( siehe auch weitere schlechte Bewertungen hier) und so ein Gasthausbetrieb deswegen den Bach runtergeht.... Sehr bedauerlich.

It used to be our family-friends number 1 go-to restaurant/beer garden. It's been an absolute disaster since the change of tenant. Service, food, hygiene underground. So bitter - it's actually a really great stain.

Schöne Lage, schöner Biergarten, hartes Schnitzel, der Spargel von der Farbe eher grau, zerfiel von selbst. Ich habe ihn reklamiert und habe eine neue Portion bekommen mit identischer Qualität, unterirdisch. Es gab einen Preisnachlass, aber das nützt dann auch nichts. Die Hollandaise bei der ersten Portion ausgeflockt. Die Uneinsichtigkeit in die Kritik war schon beeindruckend

Great economy on the bike path, great for a break

A very nice terrace beautifully laid out. Unfortunately the service doesn't match the location. Slow, listless, you get the feeling that trying to order would be too much to ask, plus an annoyed answer when asked if you could pay by card. The answer: sometimes yes, but not today! The white wine was served way too warm. At the next table, as was our case, the change was given out incorrectly and the rest was paid out without comment when asked. It is understandable that the stress of the employees is great on such a sunny day, but then the owner has to find enough and, above all, friendly staff in order to be able to host his guests a second time.

If the service is expanded, there will be more stars. We will be back.

When the weather is nice you can sit on the terrace here. Food was very tasty. Service seemed a bit chaotic and disorganized, but all the service staff were very friendly.

Shoemaker, stick to your lasts!!! We had reserved for Sunday afternoon with a small child. Then we get there, there's a technical defect and that's why there's only tarte flambée. Behind the bar counter 2 service staff and the boss. Sorry, but if you hide behind the counter it won't work. It was nice weather all week, so as a restaurateur you have to be prepared with everything. In addition, if you can offer tarte flambée, you can also offer salads etc. AND put a sign in the BEER GARDEN: Electrical problem. No hot food today and let the people with reservations know in advance. I would advise the waitress to go somewhere else after 2 days!!! We are then hungry for the very good Ratskeller in Heddesheim.

The location alone is priceless. New couple makes a great impression. Definitely worth a visit, even if the food could be a little better, but that is certainly due to our high standards.

The weather was lovely, me and my husband had our bike ride. At the Schwabenheimer Hof - We wanted to eat something at Anker. The courtyard was full and I asked the boss if he still had a table available. The rude answer was that we should find a free table ourselves. So far so good. A dish “salad with perch” that was not on the menu was particularly recommended to me. This was a daily offer on October 13, 2019. Not a good idea. The bass I had eaten before wanted to come out again. Almost half of the green salad consisted of coarsely grated carrots. Our waitress was friendly.

Waren im Sommer zum Testessen im Biergarten, woraufhin wir für Weihnachten reserviert haben. Am Tag vor der Reservierung wurde unsererseits nachgefragt, ob Hunde mitgebracht werden dürfen, wobei der Chef sagte, dass wir nicht kommen müssen, weil kein Personal da wäre. Keiner hielt es für notwendig, uns am Abend vorher abzusagen. Nicht empfehlenswert!!!

Wir wurden freundlich bedient. Die Frikadellen waren gut, Wurstsalat und Flammkuchen auch. Hat gepasst :)

War früher ziemlich gut muss anscheinend einen Pächterwechsel stattgefunden haben. Waren Samstag Nachmittag da gähnende Leere kein einziger Tisch besetzt. An den Tisch an den wir gesetzt wurden war die Tischdecke schon verdreckt und der ganze Raum hat nach intensivem Raumduft gestunken. Gläser für die Getränke waren nicht richtig sauber und man hatte noch einen Geschmack von Zwiebel und Knoblauch am Glas bevor das Essen überhaupt auf dem Tisch stand. Essen war auch nicht sonderlich gut. Kässpätzle waren fertig von großen B aus Schwabenländle und bestand mehr aus einem Rahm und Sahne Gesmisch als aus Käse. Bei der Bezahlung hat man nur den Kartenbeleg bekommen auf Nachfrage nach dem richtigen Kassenzettel ist die Bedingung für gefühlte 10 Minuten in einen anderen Raum verschwunden und brachte dann einen Kassenzettel mit einer ganz anderen Summe als auf dem Kartenbeleg mit der Begründung die eh schon teilweise überzogenen Preise seien nicht mehr aktuell. In der Wartezeit auf den Kassenzettel piepste außerdem die Kaffeemaschine und bemängelte dass der Wasserfilter hätte seid 2000 Litern hätte gewechselt werden müssen. War das letzte mal das wir dort essen waren - als regelmäßige Besucher seid 15 Jahren.

Ein unscheinbar abgelegenes Gasthaus außerhalb von Nirgendwo an einer idyllischen Biegung des Neckars. Köstlich, lieb und verträumt.

Es gab schon besser Zeiten im Anker....

Waren mit 15+ Personen angemeldet. Nach 30 min durften wir Getränke bestellen, nach 45 min wurde uns auf Nachfrage gesagt, daß die Getränke nicht einmal gemacht wurden. Nachdem wir gesagt haben: Getränke brauchen wir keine mehr und der Appetit ist uns auch vergangen wurde versucht sich zu rechtfertigen und man hat keinerlei Verständnis gezeigt.

Das Lokal liegt wunderschön am Neckar. Leider hat der Service hier sehr nachgelassen.

45 Minuten bis wir unser Getränk hatten. Essen nicht genießbar. Spätzle waren im ungesalzenen Wasser gekocht und die Pilz Rahm Sauce mit Wasser angerührt. Die Frikadellen bestanden mehr aus Chemie als aus Fleisch und dafür nicht mal durch. Kann nur von dieser Küche abraten. Behalte mir vor die Bilder zu posten bis hier der Widerspruch vom Inhaber kommt.

Ambiente sowie Lage ist top. Die Bedienung war freundlich aber überfordert da komplett alleine. Wir haben mehr als 30min auf unser essen gewartet. Das Winzersteak war kein Winzersteak sondern marinierte Nackensteaks vom Discounter. Die erstmal kalt und zweitens trocken waren. Für den Preis erwarte ich eine andere Qualität. Nie wieder!

Der 1 Stern ist für die Bedienung, die freundlich war. Das Essen war grausam. Die Käsespätzle schmeckten nach Brühwürfel und Sauerrahm. Der Beilagensalat war geschmacklos. Aber was will man schon für 14,90€ erwarten?

Wir waren hier am 15.09. ab 18:45 Uhr bis 20:15 zum ersten mal. Draußen waren fast alle Tische besetzt und vor dem Lokal standen überall Fahrräder (scheint vielen hier wichtig zu sein). Wir wurden zügig und freundlich bedient. Wir aßen Flammkuchen und Käsespätzle. Beides hat gut geschmeckt. Natürlich darf man bei den eher geringen Preisen keine neue kulinarische Entdeckung erwarten. Insgesamt ein gemütlicher Ort, den wir positiv in Erinnerung behalten.

Fertigprodukte zu einem völlig überzogenem Preis. Schade, war früher mal echt gut.

Wir waren am Samstag den 16.09.23 nach Besuch im Bonsai Zentrum dort. Die Karte ist recht klein und eigentlich findet jeder dort auch etwas. Allerdings was dort Qualitativ angeboten wird ist ein absolutes No Go in Sachen Preisleistungsverhähltniss . 2 zusammen gepresste Frikadellen , Qualität Aldi mit ein paar fertigen Spätzle, einer dünnen Fertigsoße mit 3 halben Pilzen für 15 Euro war schon der Hammer. Auch das Schnitzel war ein Fertigprodukt. Der Service war ok und vom Ambiente her auch sehr schön. Ändert sich die Qualität der Küche nicht ist dort mit Sicherheit bald Feierabend
