Good, sustainable, local Franconian food. Pre-ordering is worthwhile, as the owners don't want to waste any food, so dishes are often sold out. I find the beer garden under the chestnut trees and parasols very cozy in the summer; it's a bit too dark and rustic inside for me. The waiters are friendly and helpful with ordering.

The staff are very friendly. And there's a great beer garden. I didn't think the food quality was that great. The cordon bleu came out of a bag, into the fryer, and it was done. And I paid almost €20 for it. The pictures online appear to show a butcher taking a photo of the cordon bleu.

We were here with the family today and were very satisfied! The staff are very friendly and even kind to small children. The food is really good and the portions are generous. The potato salad isn't soggy, and the cordon bleu is homemade and tastes excellent. The beer garden is a real highlight, especially in the evening, and is beautiful! I highly recommend a visit, and we'll definitely be back!

Eating like mom used to make it – that's exactly how it feels here! Whether it's the roast on the weekend, the varied daily special, or a crisp salad between meals: it always tastes good. I'm especially looking forward to the upcoming carp season. The restaurant itself has been lovingly decorated by the landlady. In the beer garden, the large chestnut trees provide pleasant shade, so you can sit comfortably outside even in summer. Despite the nearby main road, you feel at home and can have a relaxed conversation. The service is prompt and attentive – we've never sat at the table with an empty glass. I also find the approach to avoiding food waste very commendable: They deliberately avoid unnecessary frills on the plates that would end up being thrown away anyway. Instead, salt, pepper, and oil are available so everyone can season their dish to their own taste. A great solution, after all, tastes differ. My absolute highlight: the rice pudding for dessert! Where can you find that these days? For me, this is truly a unique selling point. In conclusion: A cozy inn with honest, delicious food and warm hospitality – we'll definitely be back!

Great beer garden with a cozy atmosphere. Unfortunately, the conditions were too much for us, and we had to be moved first. Then no one came to take our orders. In the end, all the adults had something to eat, but the two children had to wait for their food. What a shame. The food was quite good.

No, very unfriendly. For example, the coleslaw was definitely NOT dressed, even for other guests, and yet the manager insisted that it was dressed because she supposedly did it herself. The guests weren't right, even though it was demonstrably so. Unbelievable, unprofessional behavior from a restaurant "manager."

The dish of the week sold out by 7 p.m. Otherwise, the menu includes about 7 other dishes, which would be generally fine if they were at least freshly made. The Wiener Schnitzel is frozen and tasted disgusting. I can't remember ever having been served such rubbish in a restaurant. The potato salad is soggy and completely unseasoned. Probably came from a big bucket at a supermarket. We waited forever for the food. Probably because of the thawing process. Payment is only possible with cash. You then have to plan on another 20-minute walk to reach the ATM.

Unfortunately, this place is very disappointing. Prices are heavily inflated – a typical tourist trap. The food is tasteless, everything looks and tastes like it has been reheated in old, stale oil. Unfortunately, our visit to this restaurant was very disappointing. Right from the start, we were served flat Coke. At the bar, the waitresses were smoking cigarettes, which is not only unhygienic but also unpleasant for guests. The kitchen staff were also smoking, which raises serious concerns about sanitary standards. The food turned out to be of poor quality and far too expensive for what we received. The place seems focused on making quick money from tourists rather than providing good service or tasty meals. Definitely not recommended.

The Tell is simply world-class. I'd love to give it 10 stars. The shoulder of pork is so tender that the meat falls off the bone. That's how it should be! Chewing is obsolete, as the meat melts in your mouth. The crust is perfectly crispy. I'll be back again and again!!!!!!!

Unfortunately, we didn't feel comfortable here. The majority of the other guests were heavy smokers, which was very unpleasant for us. The ladies serving were not very organized. The schnitzel was tough and dry, and the side salad was lightly seasoned. Overall, the restaurant and beer garden seemed dingy. We won't be going there again.

Like every year for Father's Day. With a reservation, they served a fantastic white sausage breakfast. The DJ was great, too.

Cordon bleu is far too expensive for its size, herring in cream sauce from a bucket, Omega Sorg says hello, no more potatoes at lunchtime. In summer, Chinese cabbage is served as a salad; there are better options these days. Side salads were also forgotten once, and that's how it remains.

We discovered this restaurant by chance while spontaneously looking for somewhere near the highway on our way from Stuttgart to Regensburg. The food was super delicious (thanks to Sunday, they also had shoulder of pork on the daily menu) and the portion sizes were perfectly balanced. The staff were super friendly. We thought the so-called cat table was great and we always like to use it in winter, but in summer we prefer the beautiful beer garden!!
