Gaststätte Wartburghof in Eisenach

We spent a short vacation in Eisenach a few weeks ago. The package we booked at our hotel included dinner, during which we were registered at “La Cuchilla”. Since there is no Caribbean restaurant in the area where we live, we were excited and were not disappointed. We were served a 3-course menu, which not only looked great but also offered a taste explosion. The individual courses were beautifully and lovingly decorated, starting with the potato soup with coconut milk, to the chicken breasts with rice and the final dessert plate with several desserts. The dishes were sophisticatedly seasoned and absolutely tasteful. We had a very nice conversation with the chef in Spanish and expressed our thanks and appreciation to him. It's a shame that we live far away, otherwise we would eat at "La Cuchilla" more often.

I've never eaten such a bad kebab before

Stayed there for 1 night. The bathroom was quite small and winding. The beds were good. The breakfast was not in keeping with a 4 star hotel. No grain rolls, quite unfriendly, stressed breakfast staff, who also had to cover the reception due to understaffing, No spoon in the sugar pot, plastic flowers everywhere. Nothing in the room for the dog, but he was allowed in the breakfast room.

Prices are ok. Ambience is good. Soup and falafel roll were delicious! Service was great because we wanted to eat vegetarian and didn't see that the pea soup had meat. It was exchanged immediately without asking and something new was offered. Very friendly!! Thanks. Would come again.
