Gaststätte Waldesruh in Haßloch

Unfortunately it's no longer what it used to be. Ordered chicken with hoisin sauce and vegetables. There were 4 pieces of dry and uncut chicken, you could count the vegetables (2x pepper pieces, 3 strips of carrot, 3 bush beans, 2x quarter pieces of champion, onions and a few bean sprouts). The sauce didn't taste like anything other than lemon (where does the taste come from?). Unfortunately the taste of the food was zero stars. But what annoyed me the most was that you tip yourself. The dish was on the menu for €9. But they asked for €10. Well, at first I thought the prices hadn't been adjusted yet. However, spoke to the employee about the price difference. The answer I got was a tired smile, you could have said yes, the prices were increased, I wouldn't have said anything, I often even round up on my own initiative. But when I saw that he took the €1 from the cash register and threw it into a money box. That was an absolute NO GO for me. I definitely won't get anything there again.

It's always nice to be there. The food is very good . And the staff is also quite OK and very friendly 😊

Saumagen... Saulecker! Ate Palatinate plates for the first time and definitely not for the last time. Please don't be put off by the outside, inside it looks like a clubhouse, but the food is delicious ☺️

Nice restaurant, good food. It's a shame that the landlady is quitting at the end of the year.

We had a very nice evening, with great food and very attentive service. We'd love to come back.
