Gaststätte Stindt/Krone in Hemer

Today we celebrated our wedding in a small group in the elf room. It was more than great. Food, service, ambience e more than great 👌👌all the guests liked it and tasted great. Peter and the team keep it up 👌😘 It was really great. Update 11/22/24 We now eat here at least 2 or 3 times a month after our wedding. It's unbeatable, we sometimes go somewhere else but we always come back to Elfenfohren. It's cozy, the cook brings the food to the table himself, as is his old tradition, asks everyone around if it tastes good and likes to have a little chat (where else can you get that?) and the service staff are great, no matter who the service is there and of course his wife is always there. Above all, everything is homemade, be it the soups, the meat that comes from our own farm and the surrounding area... I can't stop raving about it, so if you're ever in the area stop by and eat something. Tip: call ahead to see if a table is available I can really, really recommend it

A very idyllic place to stop for a break on a hike. Delicious food (various cakes, small dishes, daily specials), cold drinks, and very friendly service. Prices are absolutely reasonable. Unfortunately, it's only open on weekends, otherwise we'd come by more often 😃 So: don't just walk past, stop!

We ordered a salad bag and a kebab to go. They were tasty and well-filled. Our kids had pizza rolls with spinach and feta. These were packaged in white Styrofoam boxes, like fries. They were flat and damp from the steam from being transported in the box. Therefore, they were inedible. Hence the rating.

Super delicious food. Friendly, personable service. Simply fantastic.

I was there for lunch; the hunter's schnitzel with fried potatoes was delicious and freshly prepared.
