Unfortunately, the restaurant is showing its age – the lighting is outdated – the whole place is too dark. The menu is okay, but the quality is lacking there too – unfortunately. That's not how you attract new customers – the service was friendly – ​​unfortunately, only in the positive... Not really for me anymore – beer garden... OK.

We come here often and have been very satisfied over the years. What stands out here is the staff, which is stable because the owner treats everyone well. Big praise to everyone.

The food is always delicious, fresh, homemade, and prepared with love. The typical Swabian classics are particularly delicious here. The service is also super friendly; you immediately feel welcome and in good hands. For me, this is one of the best restaurants in the area if you're craving good Swabian cuisine. Highly recommended!

Today was my first time at the Solitudestüble. I'm still a bit torn about how I felt about it. First of all, yes, the Solitudestüble is definitely a quaint, cozy little restaurant, just as you'd imagine. On Sundays at lunchtime, the restaurant is very busy, which definitely speaks volumes about its quality. The reservation worked perfectly, and we were assigned our table immediately. Unfortunately, we then had to wait about 10 minutes before we even received the menus, and then another 10 minutes passed before we could order our drinks and food. Of course, I understand that it might take a while if it's a busy restaurant, and yes, the nice lady running the service was alone, but the order of the arriving guests was discreetly ignored. Anyway, hungry and full of anticipation, we sat at the table and waited for our orders. First of all, we received the last portions 65 minutes after we arrived. So, first (and this is commendable) the children got their food. Here, however, the portions were very manageable, and the price-performance ratio was definitely not right. Our 3-year-old son needed exactly two portions to feel full. Both portions were actually charged at €7.30 each. When you consider the total, given that we had three portions of spaetzle for two children and paid €21.90 for them, I definitely think it's overpriced. After the children had finished eating, our food arrived. We had hoped for an opportunity to keep the children occupied, which unfortunately wasn't there. All the dishes tasted good, some had a strong roasted flavor, but overall, they were quite okay. Unfortunately, as mentioned in other reviews, the meat was very gristly, sinewy, and had a decent layer of fat. This significantly reduces the amount of "pure" meat, which in turn leads to the price being significantly too high. Overall, the visit here wasn't a disappointment. As I said, the food was good and the ambiance was quaint, but unfortunately the overall package wasn't quite right for us, so it will remain a one-time visit. So, a small suggestion: perhaps they should consider adjusting the size of the dishes to reflect the price. Since side dishes tend to be cheaper, they have the potential to do so.

To be honest, I would have expected a significantly better overall performance from a quality Swabian restaurant There were only three tables occupied in the restaurant, so the waitress was at the table very quickly and asked for the drinks. The food arrived after about 20 minutes and I was a bit disappointed with my meal. The roast was a relatively small portion (estimated under 200g) and I had to cut off about 20% of it because it was quite gristly. The roast was also overcooked, the onion sauce was perfect, the cheese spaetzle was dressed with a very spicy cheese that dominated the taste of the whole meal. The service also didn't offer us a dessert menu, which I found a bit unfortunate Only cash payment works, parking on the street in front of the house I find it very small-minded that they charge €0.5 hidden on the bill for a change in the side salad. That alone rules out a second visit to this inn for me.

The food tasted great. However, I have to say I was a little disappointed with the portion size for the price. The "Special" comes with a cordon bleu and croquettes the size of a tealight, the medallions are tea-light-sized, and the roast beef is more like a roasted sausage. The waiters sometimes mix up the beers, so you'll often get a light beer instead of a pilsner.

In a nutshell... go there hungry and leave hungry I don't deny that the quality of the dishes is poor, but the portions in relation to the prices are subpar... the Stüble had pfännle, and what can I say. The medallions were as big as 2€ pieces and the roast was as flat as a schnitzel. It's really a shame that you have to ask for so much, although everything tasted just right, not recommended for families with children otherwise it will cost 3 figures for a family of 4.

Too expensive for the portions. 18 euros for tripe with rösti (should be fried potatoes) Almost 30 euros roast roast (a grown man won't get enough) etc...

Swabian food at its best. Great service. Very tasty food with a diverse menu. The roasted potatoes and salad were so delicious. The tripe excellent. It was a family celebration. We all left full and happy. We'll have the next family celebration here again. Thank you for the lovely evening.

very good and authentic Swabian food at reasonable prices. The menu is in Swabian - but the very friendly wait staff is happy to help with translation and also give recommendations on food and wine. For example, I had "Gaisburger Marsch" - highly recommended and a large portion! The restaurant is frequented by locals - so (thankfully) not a tourist trap. Very well connected to public transport until late in the evening.

What a surprise. Drove past it for years. Visited the restaurant recently. Super good Swabian dishes, good wines, very good service and an ambience that doesn't exist that often anymore. If you like Swabian food, you should plan a visit.

Price-performance ratio unfortunately very disappointing. The large portion of cheese spaetzle for €15.20 was very poor. I could have eaten 3 plates of it. The quality wasn't special. However, after the comment, the waitress was understanding and we were given wine.

Good food at fair prices, cozy, Swabian

Wer es gemütlich und bodenständig mag. Dann ist es die Adresse.

Wir waren als Familie dort essen. Zum Parken ist es dort etwas schwierig, dafür lohnt sich aber der Weg. Der Beilagensalat war einer der besten, den ich gegessen habe. Die Speisen waren alle lecker. Gewartet haben wir auch nicht lange, 15-20 min ca. Und die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und schnell, trotzdessen das ganze Restaurant voll war. Immer wieder gerne. Preis-Leistung war super. Die Karte evtl als „Übersetzung“ noch schreiben wäre super, damit auch Touristen etwas bestellen können. Zahlen geht nur Bar, Karte wird nicht genommen. Preislich echt im Rahmen, jedes Gericht gibt es auch als kleine Portion. Günstiger als andere deutschen Küchen. Im Gesamtem sehr empfehlenswert!

Super Essen, das beste Roastbeef, das ich je gegessen habe, freundlicher Service und sehr angenehmes Ambiente, auch wenn es von außen nicht danach aussieht.

Für mich das beste schwäbische Restaurant das es in Stuttgart gibt. Der Kartoffelsalat schmeckt (fast) wie bei meiner Oma, die Soßen sind großartig und die Röstkartoffeln gibt es auch kein zweites Mal. Danke für das leckere Essen :-)

Haben hier vor Ort gespeist. Sowohl drinnen, als auch draußen. Gegessen haben wir den Gaisburger Marsch und ein Putenschnitzel mit Pilz-Rahm Soße sowie Kässpätzle. Geschmacklich ist alles gut, aber nichts besonderes. Vor allem der Gaisburger Marsch war eher unspektakulär. Das Schnitzel war gut, die Pilz-Rahm Soße hat jedoch verwirrenderweise süßlich geschmeckt. Die Kässpätzle waren auch gut. Die Preise sind relativ hoch, die Portionen leider eher klein. Das Lokal an sich ist klein, sauber und hell. Auch wichtig: Es gibt eine Klimaanlage, die wir gar nicht gehört oder gesehen haben. Bei solchen Temperaturen ist das wichtig. Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Auch Sonderwünsche werden soweit möglich berücksichtigt. Alles in Allem, lande ich bei 3,5 Sternen. Wenn die Portionen ein wenig größer wären (oder die Preise niedriger), wären es solide 4 Sterne.

Wir waren zu viert hier und alle sehr begeistert.Der Rostbraten mit Spätzle, Maultaschen und Sauerkraut war super, der Service nett und das Ambiente schön urig-so kann man das Mittagessen am Sonntag genießen.Vielen Dank, wir kommen wieder🙂👍

Ich habe in dem kleinen Außenbereich gesessen. War sehr gemütlich. Die Bedienung war freundlich und das Essen und die Getränke kamen zügig. Das Cordon Bleu mit Pilzrahmsoße und Käsespätzle war echt super. Der Beilagensalat reichlich und das Dressing total lecker. Gerne wieder.

Les plats sont bons et gourmands. Il y a une option de prendre la petite taille ou grande taille du plat et le prix diffère. Nous avons pris deux plats et une bouteille d’eau plate (4,80€), pour un total de près de 57€. La gérante du restaurant a été très agréable. Attention cependant, le restaurant ne prend pas d’espèce. Pensez à venir avec de l’espèce.

Ich hatte das schöne und urige Solitudestüble nicht auf dem Schirm. Gestern war ich endlich auf Empfehlung meines Schwagers dort. Es war wirklich alles wunderbar, die sehr sympathische und freundliche Bedienung, das tolle Ambiente (man fühlt sich direkt wohl) und das sehr leckere und qualitativ hochwertige, mit viel Liebe zubereitete Essen. Hier merkt man einfach, dass alle Spaß an ihrer Arbeit haben und genau wissen, was sie tun. Es ist schön, so ein tolles Restaurant in direkter Nähe zu haben. Ich werde ab jetzt jedenfalls regelmäßig hier essen. Klare Empfehlung.

Der Zwiebelrostbraten ist legendär, so wie vor 50 Jahren auf der Alb. Einfach klassische schwäbische Caspar.

Schwäbische Küche, gemütliches Pokal, was will man mehr. Es gibt die Möglichkeit große und kleine Portionen auszuwählen. Vom Rostbraten bis zu Maultaschen ist alles dabei. Speisekarte ist auf schwäbisch geschrieben, nette Idee.

Essen kam nur lauwarm an den Tisch. Sehr schade.

Eigentlich gutbürgerliche Hausmannskost... aber diese Beschreibung wäre das Lokal nicht gerecht. Das Essen war sehr lecker, Service war einwandfrei und die Stube ist liebevoll dekoriert. Vom außen eher unscheinbar aber wer gutes schwäbisches Essen sucht, ist hier an der richtigen Adresse.

Das Solitudestüble ist ein wirklicher Geheimtipp! Es wird bar bezahlt und das Essen ist phänomenal lecker. Tolle Wirtin die mit viel Herz die Gaststätte betreibt!

Zum Montag Abend war es schwierig hier ein offenes Lokal zu finden. Zum Glück waren einige Kollegen schon mal hier und waren begeistert. So zogen wir auch Richtung Stübel los. Hier ist es wirklich gemütlich und es wird nach alter Hausmannskost gekocht. Wir konnten draussen Platz nehmen und ein paar kühle Getränke zu uns nehmen. Der Abend war wirklich gelungen auch durch die freundliche Bedienung, das leckere Essen und die Gemütliche Lokalität. Ich komme gern wieder.

Wer authentisch schwäbisch Essen möchte „isst“ hier äußerst gut beraten. Das Solitudestüble schafft es alt hergebrachte schwäbische Spezialitäten auf eine innovative und aktuelle Weise auf den Teller zu zaubern. Mit dem angenehmen Ambiente und dem freundlichen Personal kann man das Restaurant definitiv weiter empfehlen.

Roschdbraten-Himmel! Urige Atmosphäre, sehr nettes und aufmerksames Personal. Hammer-Küche, ein absolutes Muss für Freunde der schwäbischen Küche. Speisen von hoher Qualität und Frische. Preis-Leistung mehr als angemessen.Schade, dass man nur 5 Sterne vergeben kann.
