Food was very bad. No seat cushions and no ashtrays

As before in the country inn in Wackernheim and in Multatuli, the food on offer is of very good quality, the wine list is excellent and inexpensive and the owner is a service professional. Here you eat decently and in the best sense of the word, “good middle class”. I don't understand why only girocard and not a credit card are accepted and why tipping with a card isn't possible. That's actually just a technical setting of the software. Some banks only issue debit cards and the fees are marginal. Nevertheless, absolute recommendation for Ingelheim!

It was just great. The food was super tasty, sufficient and well prepared (even included a small salad as a starter). The service was very attentive and even brought 2 pillows for our little one to raise :) (at the end there was also a pack of smarties). In the toilet you found lots of small towels to dry your hands + paper towels (all in all very comfortable). You can't complain about the price either (approx. €130 for 5). On our next visit to Ingelheim, we would be happy to come back. :)

Deserves more than five stars! The Schützenhaus has turned out to be a real gem that is more than just a simple restaurant. The ambience is lovingly and detailedly furnished, which immediately creates a warm and inviting atmosphere. The friendly staff make you feel welcome and well looked after from the moment you arrive. The menu is varied and offers something to suit every taste. The freshly prepared dishes are a real fireworks display for the palate - every meal is a taste explosion and a pleasure. The Schützenhaus is by far more than recommended. If you haven't been here, you've definitely missed something. A big thank you to the entire team for this extraordinary experience!

Update July 1, 2024 The Schützenhaus restaurant is now open on Mondays and has daily specials. Mondays are burger day and they are by far the best burgers in Ingelheim and the surrounding area. As always, everything is freshly and professionally prepared. The starters and main courses that come out of the kitchen here taste really fantastic and are far, far above the usual club restaurant standard. Price performance is great - the portions are so big that there is almost no room for dessert. That's actually a shame, because the desserts are also delicious.

Great atmosphere. Both service and cuisine were extremely friendly. The food is a 10 out of 10 and cheap.

Deserves a full 5 stars. We walked in the door and thought it was a sports restaurant - but what came next surprised us. A very lovingly furnished restaurant with an absolute feel-good atmosphere and a friendly welcome. The food we chose was also an absolute culinary delight and really worth the money. The great wine also rounded off the meal. Our dog was also warmly welcomed and given his water. Thank you for the great evening and the magical food. We will come back in any case :-)

Large portions, delicious food, friendly staff

We were satisfied with the food and drinks. However, I have never experienced a charge of €3 for some re-ordered sauce. It was also annoying that the telephone rang loudly through the guest room every 5 minutes. Since the telephone is located quite centrally in the guest room, you involuntarily witness every telephone call. We felt like we were in a call center. The boss, who wasn't particularly friendly, said that people keep coming back after their first visit. We are probably an exception then.

Mit Essen und Getränken waren wir zufrieden. Dass jedoch etwas nachbestellte Soße mit 3 € berechnet wird, habe ich noch nie erlebt. Außerdem nervte, dass das Telefon alle 5 Minuten laut durch den Gastraum bimmelte. Da das Telefon auch noch recht zentral im Gastraum steht, wird man unfreiwillig Zeuge jedes Telefonats. Wir kamen uns vor, wie in einem Call-Center. Die Chefin, die nicht gerade durch Freundlichkeit auffiel, meinte, dass die Leute nach ihrem ersten Besuch immer wieder kommen. Wir sind dann wohl eine Ausnahme.

Very good food, crisp fresh salad with great dressing, meat juicy and cooked to perfection, beautifully prepared and served, friendly service, wasn't the last visit!!

Went to the Easter shooting, that was a lot of fun. Everyone very friendly. Price performance was very good. Very family friendly.

The three of us recently went to the restaurant for dinner during the week. Nicely and friendly furnished and nice and bright; something you wouldn't expect from a “Schützenhaus” - we were pleasantly surprised. The food and drinks are taken here without a pad or tablet and despite changes, everything came as expected. This is something you rarely see these days. The dishes (soup, minced steak, Wiener schnitzel, steak and salads) were extremely tasty and obviously nothing ready-made or out of the bag, as you unfortunately have to experience in many other restaurants. We will definitely come back and are already looking forward to our next visit.

We went to the Schützenhaus in Ingelheim for the first time on Saturday evening. I only know the Schützenhaus in Bingen-Dietersheim, but they are two different worlds. Here in Ingelheim, there are elegant, stylish, beautiful wooden tables with comfortable chairs at an appropriate, comfortable distance from each other. The table is festively set with gold-patterned round coasters and pretty silver napkin holders! The service is calm and unobtrusive, but very attentive. The selection of food is great, there should be something for everyone. The wines are authentic and not expensive. The waiting time was just right and the food tasted great. The dessert is particularly recommended. I'm a sorbet fan and I've come to the right place. Thank you for the lovely evening, we'll be back!

Der Hirschgulasch ist so was von lecker. Tolles Essen, sehr guter Wein und sehr nette Wirtin.

Heute mal ein super knackiger Salat mit perfektem Dressing. Dazu gewohnt freundliche Atmosphäre. Immer wieder gerne. November ist Gänsezeit. Die Keule mit Klößen und Rotkohl war perfekt! Solide Weine in der Auswahl. Gerne wieder 😊

Super Service, Super Essen , am 14.10. konnten wir die vorzüglichen Rinderbäckchen genießen . Immer wieder gerne . Waren nicht zum ersten Mal hier und nicht zum letzten Mal ..

Sehr gute , gutbürgerliche Küche. Sehr freundliche Chefin die auch einen hervorragenden Service bietet! War bereits mehrmals zum Essen in diesem Restaurant, war immer sehr zufrieden und kann das Lokal empfehlen!

Wir waren schon oft hier und waren jedes Mal sehr zufrieden. Der Service ist freundlich und das Essen schmeckt sehr gut. Es gibt abwechslungsreiche Saisonempfehlungen und eine stimmige Speisekarte. Innen ist die Atmosphäre gemütlich, im Sommer gibt es einen schönen Außenbereich. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Zuerst hatten uns die vielen negativen Rezensionen etwas abgeschreckt. Trotzdem haben wir uns für einen Besuch im Schützenhaus entschieden und es keineswegs bereut. Die Inhaberin empfing uns sofort herzlich in ihrem Lokal. Das Ambiente ist ebenfalls sehr schön zum Verweilen. Preis-Leistung stimmt hier absolut. Zu empfehlen sind vorallem die Hacksteaks mit Rotwein-Zwiebelsauce. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Speisekarte sehr einfach, es fehlt etwas Abwechslung. Ambiente ganz ok. Alles in allem nichts Besonderes

An Ostern zum Ostereierschießen,echt voll okay,was den Schützenverein angeht. Aber von der Gastronomie war draußen ein Bierwagen und Bratwurst vom Webergrill. War auch okay,in der Gaststätte waren wir nicht.
