Toller Biergarten mit prima Service

Die Gaststätte hat eine tolle Lage, direkt an der Donau. Leider hat es bei unserem Besuch geregnet und wir mußten rein sitzen. Wir aßen die Haxe,Zwiebelrostbraten und die Kartoffelschnitzel. Essen war hervorragend und daß Personal sehr freundlich. Portionen waren mehr als ausreichend (und wir sind richtig gute Esser😃). Ist auf jedenfall einen Besuch Wert. Wir kommen wieder.

Wir kamen mit dem Fahrrad. Wir waren im Biergarten. Sehr aufmerksame Bedienung und sehr freundlich. Das trinken und das Essen kamen sehr schnell. Das Essen war sehr gut. Das Schützenpfännle war super lecker, die Spätzle so wie die Soße waren super gut. Auch das Preis leistungsverhältnis ist top. Wir können das Schützenhaus nur weiterempfehlen

Seit dem Pächterwechsel ist das Essen wirklich sehr gut. Leider lässt der Service immer noch sehr zu wünschen übrig. Mittags Essen bestellt und ewig gewartet. Auf Nachfrage wurde dann nach fast 1 Stunde gesagt es ist eine große Geburtstagsfeier die jetzt ihr Essen erhalten haben und jetzt würde dann bald unser Essen kommen. Wieso wurde das nicht bereits bei der Aufnahme gesagt? Dann hätte ich mich gleich anders entschieden. Als dann das Essen kam hat das Schnitzel zum Spargel gefehlt. Das wurde dann aber auch wieder vergessen und ich war mit den Essen bereits fertig als nochmal gefragt wurde ob alles okay ist. Erst dann kam das Schnitzel. Auch Getränkebestellungen habe auch sehr lange gedauert. Zumindest war der Service freundlich aber wenn viel los ist kann ich das dort nicht empfehlen außer man bringt sehr viel Zeit mit.

Schrecklich. Die Bedienung nimmt von jedem die Bestellung auf außer zu uns, da ist sie nie gekommen. Haben sie öfters drauf angesprochen aber sie ist nie gekommen. Sind dann gegangen einfach respektlos.

Immer immer wieder ein wahres Fest hier her zu kommen! Super freundliches Personal, sehr leckeres Essen und noch faire Preise! Auch heute am 1. Mai war einiges geboten mit Food Trucks usw. Absolut einen Besuch wert 😉😉😉😉

Leckeres Essen serviert von superfreundlicher Bedienung, wir kommen bald wieder

Also zu Beginn: der Service ist die größte Schwäche an diesem Lokal. Unkoordiniert, unprofessionell und in Teilen hektisch und überfordert. Kann aber auch nur für den tag sprechen, an dem wir zu Gast waren. Möglicherweise war dies eine Ausnahme Erscheinung. Nun zum Essen: Ich hatte das Zweifelhafte "Vergnügen" das Schützenpfännchen zu Essen, welches es maximal noch lauwarm zu meinem Tisch geschafft hat. Meine Partnerin, bekam das cordon bleu. Noch als Ergänzung zum Thema essen: Wir waren reserviert auf 18 Uhr. Sonntag! Da war dann schon die erste Aussage, Zwiebelrostbraten und Steak sind aus. Sry. Das ist einfach DAS Sonntagsmenu in schwaben und es ist aus. Und das zur prime time wo man essen geht. Aber gut, das kann mal passieren... Geschenkt. Wie schon erwähnt, war mein Essen maximal noch lauwarm. Das Schweinefleisch, kaum gewürzt und die käsespätzle meiner Meinung nach, eine Katastrophe. Ich habe es nicht aufgegessen. Das cordon bleu, meiner Freundin war durchaus als lecker zu bezeichnen, einzig die Fleisch stärke und der noch darin befindliche Knorpel, waren ein kleines Ärgernis. Ansonsten gut. Details zum Service: Wenn man schon unangenehm lange warten muss, bis überhaupt mal das Getränk aufgenommen wird, ok. Kann passieren. Wenn dann nochmals lange gewartet werden darf, bis das Getränk ankommt, Ärgerlich. Wenn es aber dann noch das falsche Getränk ist. Dann ist das versagt auf ganzer Linie. Aber die kirsche des ganzen. Wenn man das dann als Gast reklamiert und dann noch belehrt wird es wäre doch das richtige, man solle doch richen. Und man es vorher schon seinen Partner und Bekannten probieren ließ. Und man gemeinsam zum Ergebnis kam: das ist das falsche Getränk. Dann wird es peinlich. Und wir waren da leider keine Ausnahme im Bezug auf die Wartezeit und Koordination von Speisen und Getränke Reihenfolge. Zu dem: bekamen wir unseren beilagen Salat als erstes und erst Minuten später, das besteck. Es ist schon ein besonderes Erlebnis sein Essen vor sich stehen zu haben, es aber nicht Essen zu können. Danke dafür. Alles in allem: Eine weiterer Gastronomieort mit Potenzial, leider wieder nicht genutzt. Schöne Lage im Wald an der Donau. Falsches Konzept bzw. Nicht konsequent umgesetzt, keine erkennbare Gastronomische Leidenschaft. Mangelhafte Abläufe und wenig geschultes Servicepersonal. Jeder hat eine zweite Chance verdient, sollte sich das Lokal noch länger als dieses Jahr halten. Werden wir im nächsten Jahr, es gerne wieder probieren. Alles Gute für die Zukunft. So ein Nachtrag.. Sonntag 01.03.2026 Wir riefen gestern an um einen Tisch für das haxen Essen zu reservieren. Aussage: reservieren nicht möglich aber einfach um 14 uhr kommen, da ggf. Etwas zeit mitbringen dann bekommt man auch was. Gesagt, getan. Angekommen, dann von einer sehr netten Servicekraft empfangen worden und gesagt bekommen: leider keine laufkundschaft. Wir erklären: sind keine laufkundschaft haben am Vortag angerufen und eben die Situation erklärt. Dann die Antwort bekommen: Tut sehr leid. Leider nicht genug ware da. Müssen leider gehen. Zum Thema ware: Ich fragte bei meinem Anruf am Vortag extra nach, ob den auch genügend Material da sei. Wenn man um 14 uhr noch kommt. Antwort: Ja, mehr als genug. Dann der hammer: mit uns auch eine Gruppe die das selbe hatte wie wir. Am Vortag angerufen, selbe Aussage. Wir dann gesagt könnt ihr sicher auch gleich umdrehen. Draußen war dann diese Gruppe und sagte auf unser Nachfragen, ob sie die selbe Antwort bekommen haben: Ja, aber sie sollen einwenig warten, dann können sie noch essen. Jetzt der nächste Hammer. Um diese Personen handelt es sich um Stadtrats beteiligte.. zumindest um mindestens einer der Personen. Bzw näheres Umfeld zum Stadtrat. Gelebte zwei Klassen Gesellschaft und meiner Meinung nach diskriminierend. Ich setzte keinen Fuß mehr in ein solches Lokal. P.s.: Das hätte heute die zweite Chance werden sollen um die Bewertung zu verbessern. Stattdessen hat man es geschafft, eine ganze Gruppe als potentielle Gäste zu verlieren. Schade.

Wir werden bestimmt wieder diese Lokalität besuchen. Toller Service und ein sehr gutes Preisleistungsverhältnis . Ein Empfehlung die gutes bürgerliches Essen!

Waren heute nach dem letzten Pächterwechsel, das erste Mal wieder im Schützenhaus zu Gast. Das Essen war in Ordnung und der Beilagensalat gut. Die Karte ist übersichtlich und schnell gelesen. Ein Bratengericht wie Kalbs, Schweine, Jäger, oder Wildschweinbraten habe ich vergeblich gesucht. In einem Schützenhaus jedoch ein Stück weit erwartet. Komme gerne wieder, und würde mich dann freuen wenn 2 zur Auswahl stehen. Das Personal war freundlich.

Wir waren innerhalb der letzten paar Wochen zweimal beim Mittagessen dort. Das Essen ist sehr gut. Die Bedienungen sehr freundlich und auf Zack. Auf Sonderwünsche wird eingegangen .Sehr gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Wir sind hier spontan nach dem Legoland hin. Der Service war super nett und ging auch auf die Kids gut ein. Das Essen - gute deutsche Hausmannskost - war richtig lecker.

Ich war heute im Rahmen des Geocachertreffens endlich mal wieder im Schützenhaus und habe mir das sehr gute Essen schmecken lassen :-) Besonders beeindruckt hat mich allerdings der Charme einer der Bedienungen, die trotz Stress immer freundlich, lässig und auf zack war, mit den Gästen umzugehen wusste und bei der sich jeder einzelne absolut willkommen gefühlt hat. Das ist in dieser Form so außergewöhnlich gewesen, dass ich sofort noch diese Bewertung abgeben musste :-) Vielen Dank für den schönen Abend im Schützenhaus!

Die besten Haxen ever gegessen 😁 Super - Respekt und Danke dafür! Die Servicedame war sehr bemüht 👍 Einzige Anmerkung zur Karte: Es wäre nicht schlecht wenn Ihr "irgendeine" Art von schwäbischem Braten mit Spätzle mit aufnehmen könntet. Ansonsten nur zu empfehlen!!!!

We visited the Schützenhaus for the second time yesterday. Just like the first time, we were extremely satisfied. The service and food were truly excellent. Highly recommended for families with children, as they have a special play area for little ones.

I was here two weeks ago and was very satisfied. This time with my family. Very friendly service. The schnitzels were at least half the size of the previous visit. I was very disappointed. I think they didn't have enough meat left, and the portions were halved. The response was, "Sometimes they're like this, sometimes they're bigger." The food was good. I'll consider visiting this beer garden with a larger sports group soon.

Great place, super friendly service. Plenty of parking. The pork knuckle is so delicious, I rarely get anything like it...definitely order it, it's worth it.

Despite having a reservation, we were only able to order drinks after half an hour. The food arrived after over an hour, and there were four of us. Three people got their food, and the fourth had to wait another 20 minutes. The entire staff was overwhelmed.

We eat here often and have never been disappointed. The previous tenants retired in the summer of 2022. The new tenant (since 2025) continues where his predecessors left off three years earlier.

We're at a nearby campsite and were looking for a restaurant. We were there on Wednesday. Even though we arrived spontaneously and without a reservation, we were greeted very warmly and got a nice spot. The schnitzel special is great. The chef knows his craft. Maybe we'll be able to visit you again during our vacation. I can 100% recommend this restaurant.

It tastes very, very good. Home-style cooking, and the price/performance ratio is actually not overpriced. I felt very comfortable during my stay. Suitable for children and dogs.

We've eaten here seven times now, and every time it's been delicious. Friendly service, and the chef always stops by the guests for a moment to ask them very kindly if everything's okay. Also worth mentioning: on Saturdays, starting at 6 p.m., they serve Augustiner beer from a wooden barrel—super delicious.

They recently acquired a new tenant. I checked in and the restaurant was busy. The service was very friendly and we didn't have to wait long to order. There were five of us and the food came quickly and at the same time. The only criticism you have is the very small menu (few). I'm not sure anymore, maybe six dishes. There doesn't have to be 20 dishes but more would definitely be good so that everyone can find what they like. But that certainly won't always be the case. I didn't have that problem as my favorite dish is the onion roast beef. It was great; it was a very large portion. The meat, despite its thickness, was buttery soft and medium rare, just the way I like my onion roast beef. My wife had potato schnitzel with spinach spaetzle. Our friend had pork knuckle. All three menus were delicious, large portions and since we only ate half, they were enough for lunch the next day. The salad came with it, but you usually have to order one. This was the only negative aspect of the meal: there was too much lettuce and the dressing was very bad, basically just vinegary. The prices are the same as in other restaurants—not cheap, but not overpriced either. The restaurant is recommended, and we'll go back. I'll attach a few more pictures.

So, since we gave it a second chance... What can I say? The food and service were really good this time... Unfortunately, the boss (it says so in bold on his jacket, by the way) asked for personal criticism... We did, and then, unfortunately, such an arrogant person emerged... Unbelievably bad... I'm surprised that he doesn't care at all about online reviews, yet takes so much time to answer them! He should take the time to look after his guests properly.

Four of us ate here yesterday. Finally, a very good host again. The food was fantastic. Two of us had a knuckle of pork. What can I say, it was brilliant. I may look like Obelix, but the size was enough for me, a good half for lunch tomorrow. The service was also exemplary. Please keep up the good work. We're happy to advertise your excellent cuisine. The food was okay! Unfortunately, it was cold! Waiting... Ordered two drinks and they arrived after about 15 minutes. The service was very friendly but overwhelmed...

We celebrated our son's confirmation last Sunday with thirty guests at the Schützenhaus. It was a wonderful experience all around. The food was excellent, and the service was very good. We would like to thank the entire team at the Schützenhaus and will recommend you to others.

Service was abysmally poor. Drinks arrived stale after more than 30 minutes. Food was served before cutlery, which had to be gathered from other tables. Forgotten drinks had to be collected personally because the waitress couldn't remember anything. The pork knuckle was huge, but bland in flavor. The rest of the food was also not recommended. Side dishes were changed without informing or asking the customer (croquettes instead of rösti). All in all, not recommended. It's a shame, the place would be really nice.

For those who are passing through Leipheim, I recommend trying the typical local cuisine, perfectly cooked typical local dishes, children's menu and reasonable prices. It is also located in a small forest near the Danube River, an enchanting place

The food was mega tasty, the ambience is also very nicely located on the Danube, partly shaded and partly sunny. The only downside was the service was a bit overwhelmed, but there was a lot going on and a colleague was apparently absent at short notice. But the weather was nice, so it's not a problem if you wait a little longer. All in all, highly recommended, we will definitely come back. THANK YOU for the great time

We were there on July 20th. for dinner in the Schützenhaus and took a seat in the shady outdoor area surrounded by greenery. In no time at all we were asked what we wanted and within a few minutes we had our drinks at our table! After a few minutes of waiting, our food was on the table: lovingly prepared, perfectly prepared and really, really tasty! We found the prices to be cheap to reasonable, we just couldn't complain! - Except for the aggressive mosquitoes who were also feasting. However, it's up to us... But the Schützenhaus can't do anything about that. ;) - Conclusion: If we are in the area again, we will pay the Schützenhaus a visit again!

New tenants, try it out now! The selection of dishes is quite clear, but inexpensive. But taste good. However, the service seems quite chaotic and needs to be improved. Lots of parking spaces. Beautiful landscape, right on the Danube cycle path.

Good evening, we have all just left the restaurant and frankly we had a great time, many thanks to the very nice waiter who we forgot to ask his first name (tall blond, mid-length hair with glasses) the meal was very delicious for the seven of us we had took all the dishes on the menu and we have no regrets, I recommend it 1000% because it was a great culinary experience. Good luck to them.

The food isn't bad, but a lot of things are very simply made, such as salad without dressing and lots of greens, too expensive. The food is very lightly seasoned. Simple kitchen that you could do a lot with little effort.

There is a new tenant who does not accept the voucher book. We still ate there as a couple. The food itself was very tasty, but we didn't feel full (there was more or less an expensive children's portion). Also, just as I was finishing my meal, the waitress came and asked if we wanted a bill. The better question would have been whether it could be dessert or coffee. But generally the staff was very friendly and kept asking if everything was okay. The menu is very small (not much choice, not as shown on the internet - should be changed as soon as possible) Unfortunately, the ambience is not appealing either.

New tenant new luck... After the third opening day of the SCHÜTZENHAUS, the five of us as a family reserved a table (absolutely necessary), got it when we arrived and were immediately served in a friendly manner. There are plenty of parking spaces in front of the restaurant and access to the restaurant is wide and barrier-free. The ambience is rustic and comfortable for good home cooking (for a shooting club). The service is good, friendly and attentive. She often came to the table and asked how we were. Spontaneous questions about the dishes on the menu were also answered. If necessary, which we thought was great, the chef himself came to our table while it was busy and patiently answered our questions. Even requests for changes to the existing dishes were changed to our complete satisfaction. We decided on a steamed trout (modified for our grandpa) with Maultaschen, the venison goulash with spaetzle, the pike-perch fillet on mashed potatoes, the pork loin with cheese spaetzle and mushroom cream sauce and, for my wife, the spontaneously prepared vegan vegetable bowl with coconut milk. You can see from the dishes prepared that the young, innovative chef tries to add his own touch to each of the already well-known offerings on the menu. The modified vegan vegetable bowl was not as expected. Unfortunately, it was bland, lacking bite and simple spices. The fish dishes were wonderful. To the point, tender and a pleasure with the side dishes. The venison goulash with homemade spaetzle was soft and also the right choice in terms of taste. The loin with the cheese spaetzle and the mushroom cream sauce was a dream. For me the best dish of the day. For dessert we ordered the homemade apple fritters with vanilla ice cream. There was something here not only for the eye, but also for the palate. Really great in taste and appearance. A huge plus point was that after the billing, the owner himself came to the table, asked how we were and asked for our opinion. The price-performance ratio in the restaurant is medium to high, but worth the money for what is on offer. I am aware that the young tenants of the Schützenhaus, including their team, started their first big project in October. That's why I absolutely don't want to dwell on small details and distract unnecessarily from the quality of what's on offer here. There is still room for improvement here and I will definitely follow the development here because I will definitely come back. I would therefore be happy to recommend the SCHÜTZENHAUS restaurant in Leipheim...

The service was totally stressed, but still friendly. Cheese spaetzle without cheese, with a diluted cream sauce instead doesn't work at all... it's a shame... the billing is a disaster, The toilets were also unclean.

We wanted to go on a bike ride with the grandchildren... and then have lunch somewhere... My wife said Schützenhaus in Leipheim was always delicious at the old tenant's... ok, all right, get on your bikes and go... .when we arrived at the shooting house there was already something going on...some kind of shooting tournament.....but we found space outside...there was a bit of a breath of fresh air, but the 1 hour meal was fine... ...service came after about 10 minutes....friendly...we placed an order....French fries, 2x Kässpätzla, 1x schnitzel with fries...Drinks came after 5 minutes....then we waited ...after three quarters of an hour my wife said, they've forgotten us...I say nonsense, wait a little longer....after an hour my wife asked...the waitress's look spoke volumes... He disappeared briefly into the restaurant and then came back... apologized in a friendly manner... he forgot to order and couldn't find the order anymore... we were a little stinky... and we were glad... .but no matter...we were hungry...my and my wife's drinks were already empty and we ordered another drink...food came after 15 minutes...but no drinks... I ordered again...so now about the food...French fries were good...Schnitzel was good meat...Parade was very even...could have been ready-made schnitzel...it didn't matter 👍....Kässpätzle was cheese a matter of taste .. didn't realize what kind of cheese it was...as I said, a matter of taste....but what's not possible....brown leaves in the salad and a louse...I wanted to eat my wife's salad.. .but when I saw the brown leaves I didn't.....the drinks we ordered didn't come either....in the meantime we were glad that they didn't come....we didn't feel like waiting anymore... just wanted to leave....I went in to pay...and left quickly before I became rude...for me and my wife the day was over...unfortunately...the grandchildren didn't care😂... we definitely won't come again...it's a shame

This letter is addressed to the operator of the restaurant: Unfortunately, I have to state that a traditional Country Christmas celebration is no longer taking place. As a long-time visitor from Munich, I believe I can express my deep regret on behalf of all visitors, especially those from Austria, Switzerland but also northern Germany. It's nice when gastronomy and sport bring so much money into the coffers that you can do without the well-attended music events that have been going on for years. Lecker Essen, freundliches Personal.

Neuer Pächter seit Oktober. Super freundlich und leckeres Essen. Waren heute aufgrund dem Schlemmerblock Gutschein zum 1. Mal hier, werden aber auf jeden Fall wieder kommen.

Hallo, wir waren heut zu 7. im o.g Lokal essen. Wir wurden nett begrüßt und herzlich in Empfang genommen. Bei unserem Eintreffen, war das Lokas zu 60% besetzt. Wir haben unsere Getränke nach nur 5 Minuten erhalten. Dann ging es weiter mit der Essensbestellung. Dieses kam ebenfalls zügig (ca. 10-15 Minuten). Ich hatte einen Zwiebelrostbraten mit Spätzla. Dieses fand ich perfekt durchgebraten. Die mitservierten Zwiebeln waren nach meinem Geschmack ein bisschen zu wenig und fade. Das Einzige was ich an Kritik habe, ist die Dekoration im Lokal und auf den Essenstischen. Auf den Tischen befand sich lediglich eine Vase mit verschiedenen Getreidesortenstängel. Ich würd das Wirtshaus weiterempfehlen und werde zukünftig erneut das Wirtshaus besuchen.

Essen ist leider nicht mehr so gut wie früher, könnte mehr Gewürz vertragen, und mein Gericht ist leider in einer kleinen Schale serviert worden, wo für kässpätzle mehr geeignet wäre wie für ein Gericht wo mehrere Beilagen hat. Service nett, Ambiente natürlich hervorragend aufgrund der Lage. Hundefreundlich ebenso. Ohne Nachfrage wurde uns ein Wassernapf gebracht.
